How was the 3D intended to be looked at?

New 3D function was a good thought, but I tried to use the 3D function. Unfortunately, at most, I could only have it on slightly 3D, more 3D caused me to be dizzy and everything to be weird. Am I doing something wrong? Like were you supposed to look at the screen at a certain angle to get used to higher 3D amount? Does anyone know how the 3D works? I probably have it on "no 3D" most of the time, what am I doing wrong?

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I can see the whole 3-D feature at max, and it doesn't look like much. The Pokemon are still in 2-D, but the background looks further away. That's the best it goes. . . . I guess?

The way I see it, the 3d is only a gimmick. What's important is the 3ds is a much more powerful ds. The actual graphics look much better, they're comparable to console graphics in some cases.

So the 3d was just a lame feature to try to make it sell... thankfully the system was actually good.

It took me about a day to get used to using the 3D. It helps to play with the settings; try looking at the same image in full 3D, then turn the 3D all the way off, then on again, etc.

The 3D isn't that noticeable during most battles. The depth illusion is much more apparent when using software like the 3DS' camera or that flying face game, and in the Glittering Cave also.
