What's your sleeping blanket like? :O

Sorry Dakota. I got this idea from you. :[

So, what blanket do you sleep with at night? What does it look like? Is it heavy or light? Does it keep you warm or cool? :O

My blanket is bright blue on top and dark blue on bottom with various colored stripes underneath. It's actually reversible, but I like the blue side better. It kind of keeps me both cool and warm at the same time. It's also a comforter, but it's not one of those really thick heavy ones either.

I actually use a loosely woven white single-layer blanket I got at Wal-Mart during the summer, and a king-sized quilt coloured maroon with a lion etched into it in the winter. The former is perfect since I have to have something on me and it breathes incredibly, and the latter keeps my heat in like nothing else.

VividSpaceRain July 15th, 2014 4:46 AM

I've got a duck feather blanket and the cover is black with green stripes but it gets a bit toasty sometimes.

Candy July 15th, 2014 5:59 AM

My country knows no Summer or Winter :v

I have a really thin blanket, just right for a rather cold night. Otherwise, this place is too hot for me to use blankets anyway. It's blue with lots of bear patterns on it. Have been using is since I was small, and I don't really feel the need to find a new one.

Poki July 15th, 2014 8:43 AM

It's a set (sheets, blanket, and pillowcase), and it has Marie (the white kitty) from Disney's Aristocats, like I said in Dakota's thread.

Yukari July 15th, 2014 8:45 AM

I use a somewhat thin blanket that my grandmother made for me. It has Pacman on it. :)

Sammi July 15th, 2014 8:56 AM

The one used most is a blue comforter that my grandma made over 10 years ago. Still use it. It's a bit thick during the summer, but I've been using a heavy blanket for so long I need a heavy blanket to fall asleep.

I also have a red fuzzy heated blanket and a white quilt with blue stitching (with occasional flower design). Those don't get used until it's cold, but they're on my bed anyway. I have a huge queen-sized bed all to myself.

This is practically the same thread omgggggg

Treecko July 15th, 2014 9:26 AM

My blanket right now is this afghan blanket my nana crocheted for me when I was little. It's mostly blue with black and white stripes. She made one for me and my brothers, and I've had since I was at least 7 so it's special to me. Sometimes in the winter though, I'll use an old sleeping bag instead.

Sonata July 15th, 2014 9:45 AM

Mine is a very thick black and white blanket with a dragon on it. It's pretty heavy and it definitely keeps me warm at night.

Pinkie-Dawn July 15th, 2014 11:20 AM

I only wear a blanket when things get really cold. My blanket is made of sheep wool, and it has a blue cover on top.

Juno July 15th, 2014 12:24 PM

It's a leopard-print duvet cover, but I took the duvet part out and only use the cover as a blanket during the summer. In the winter, I add an extra fleece blanket on top of that, also leopard print.

Platina Berlitz July 15th, 2014 12:28 PM

I usually sleep with a thin comforter. It has multicolored paw prints on it on both sides. I usually sleep with my feet uncovered to get the nice flux of warm and coolness XD

Pepperton July 15th, 2014 3:46 PM

A comforter and then a thin blanket underneath, year round. No changes, never take them off.

Samus Aran July 15th, 2014 10:29 PM

I have a red quilt thing that's really thin. I think my grandma or my aunt made it for me when I was small. They where...generous with the size, it pretty much fits a queen size bed

PieInABox July 15th, 2014 10:36 PM

I switch blankets a lot. Currently I have a light, white blanket with a gray pattern on one side and a lime/light blue/hot pink pattern on the other side.

Kikaito plush July 16th, 2014 12:41 AM

I have an quilt cover that I change every weekend.
The one I am using right now is an Doctor who one.

Lotus the Cat July 16th, 2014 3:19 AM

I have a wool quilt for winter. I have a regular blanket on the bed for the cats (ugly tiger paterned thing that I want to get rid of but my hudband likes it) but I have an electric blanket if I need a temperature boost.

Altairis July 16th, 2014 4:55 AM

Blue and white comforter, stays on all the time since the temperature doesn't change that much where I live.

Starry Windy July 16th, 2014 5:03 AM

My blanket is a soft yellow and orange-colored one that I'm using since about more than 3 years ago. It's so comfortable to be used.

The Ruby Of The Sea July 16th, 2014 6:13 AM

I have a thin Spider-Man comforter I've had pretty much forever. It has him facing Dr. Octopus on one side, then the other has a web pattern

Zeffy July 16th, 2014 6:36 AM

Living in a very sultry country, I've always used light, thin blankets. They're comfy enough to use during the cold season, and can also be used during the summer as a second layer of bed sheet x)

Pepperton July 20th, 2014 1:14 PM

I have two - a nice, thin, green one that goes underneath a thick, sports-themed comforter that is especially nice in the winter. Ooh, and a matching pillow :]

Sothis July 20th, 2014 7:07 PM

I sleep with two because I like the weight of them on me.
The first is a rather heavy, red fluffy one, and the second is just a normal comforter

plyrain July 20th, 2014 8:43 PM

I have a very large light blue blanket. I could describe it as heavy and light at the same time.
It keeps me very warm and its very soft. i like to my body with the comfort it offer. In fact im being hugged by it now.
