Returning to the PC Selfie Palooza! Enjoy (or don't)

There is a variety, a 2006-duck-face pic, a pretending-(believing)-to-be hotter-than-I-actually-am pic, and a-proof-I-have-all-of-my-teeth pic.

I went to the fair and I saw a pen with sheep in it and I walked up and said "come here lil sheep!!!" and they all came over, but one particular sheep let me pet it endlessly and now it is 100% official I am getting sheep at some point in my life xoxoxo

Sheep are pretty cool but I wouldn't get one purely because the Welsh friends I have that I've teased for oh so long about well... certain Welsh stereotypes. They would get to grill me so bad in return!

IT'S CUTE but don't tell anyone I said that, okay?

I went to vermont for two days with my cousin!!!

These are pictures of a granite quarry I went to. At the end I got to sandblast a design into a slab of granite and take it home and watch some attractive men work hard xoxox

I fed a goat!!

These are from a river we stopped at. The last one is me. This is probably my favorite part of the trip.

Not pictured: we also went to a cheese tasting place and tried 14 cheeses for free muahaha plus maple syrup. We also ate at a lot of cute restaurants and did a few scenic walks but I'm not a hardcore picture person so ya

This first one is in front of the fountain at the entrance:

And this second one was taken by some girls that were outside while I was waiting for my friend in the john. This was taken in front of some trees and bushes.

Spoiler:
Apparently when someone does see my face like in pic 4, they are shocked and ask what happened to my clear skin. Let me tell you, that is a picture of a GOOD day, but I've mastered the ability to appear like I am a guy with okay skin and no makeup.

Why would you go to all the effort of mastering the ability to appear like you have clear skin and then admit to everybody that you don't? Seems like a waste of effort and skill mastery to me.

You're still hot either way, though.

I'm glad I can finally wear it.

I know that feeling though. When I bought this hoodie it was about 100 degrees and was like "it's gonna be months before I can wear this". I love the fall cause hoodies and jeans are the best things to wear. And I can tolerate cooler weather way more.

Well, thank you Andy :)

It seems like in academia, people will look down on you for anything I'd consider frivolous, like appearance and clothing. Or at least this is true of this department, whether its the field of study or faculty elitism (probably both).

But I am half-way through Accutane right now, so hopefully I won't have to worry about things that definitely do seem like "a waste of effort" to me as well in 2-3 months from now.

Actually, it's been about a 2 weeks since I took those pictures, and I was expecting more issues to arise, but literally, nothing new, just healing those marks I had before. Which are currently flat red skin. And no "actives" whatsoever. Basically I just have scarring right now. (fingers crossed)

Spoiler:
Week 1 & 2 = Rapid improvement and shedding of the skin.
Week 3-7 = Terrible skin, only deep cysts that cause scarring. (Pretty much how it was before)
Week 8-9 = No new cysts, and several small blemishes, skin still looks dried out, scarred, and dull.
Week 10-11(now)= No new cysts, occasional small blemish, skin looks dried out, but scars are fading and inflammation down.

I hear that once you are around the 3 month mark, it's smooth sailing. That's when most of the new and old scarring (hyperpigmentation) start to fade away as well. Then, that process will take 2-3 months. This still should go on after you are done, for another 6 months.

The one thing that is unfortunate, is drinking + accutane = potential liver damage. So, I only occasional have a drink, but that's no more than 2-3 times a month. That and the dried lips/skin and initially worse skin. The previous picture I posted, though unsightly, was a marked improvement (it used to be at least twice as bad).

Yep! Volunteers provide the charitable institution usually 6+ inches of hair, which is used to make a hairpiece for children with alopecia, a genetic conditions in which the immune system attacks the hair follicles, resulting in early age hair loss.

Really, come on now. That was some good on-the-spot humor. Not even a hint? What if he actually was? I'm just taking advantage of his looks, he's a magician.

Also that thing behind us totally isn't a torture box or anything

He did have a legit Italian accent though. Hell, he may have been a mobster for all I know. In my book those are the real "gangsters" as they say, not these kiddos in bandanas and fake gold and stacks of cash pretending to be adults. That's clubhouse-level **** lmao

Okay yesterday (or September 20) when I was out I was bored and decided to go to goof off at the At&T store near me (and I wanted to try the iPhone 6/ iPhone 6 Plus). Just like old times. Then I remembered the last time I was there was September 20, 2013. Or one year ago exactly. So I took a picture for a compassion/throwback thing.

Good luck with it!

I finished my second course of Roaccutane (what it's called here) early this year but I was unlucky to be the 10% or so that can't be cured. I truly hope you are part of the 90%.

The side effects were so bad! I couldn't go anywhere without lip balm eye drops or hand cream. Even with constant use of my lip balm the skin on my lips started peeling off at one point. Not a fun experience.

So is being 'The King In The North' all it's cracked up to be, or?

Some of you guys in here just have the most magnificent beards. I'll be able to contribute my measly bit of chin fluff in a few more posts!

Haha I'm starting to get that way too often. We look nothing alike without our beards.

Here's three, because I'm excited that I can post pictures now. ಠ_ಠ

As you can see, my face isn't too good with the whole "let's grow hair" thing. Then again my head itself doesn't do too well with the whole "let's look good" thing so :(

So, I shaved my goatee, after about a year, and I hate my face!

Apparently that's a common reaction, not sure if I will grow the hair back, or wait to see if I like it without facial hair.

The thing that kills me most is the lack of mustache; my mouth/nose area just looks odd. XD

I've been growing all of the hair on my face that you can see in the above photos for about 2 months now, and I'm scared too shave it off for the exact reason you gave. :(

Veranithas, great pics! You look super cool! Also.. I'm getting a slight Orlando-Bloom vibe from your face structure? Haha.. that sounds weird the way I put it, but it's a compliment :3

Eevee-kins, I absolutely love the hair! I'm needing to get mine to have more blue in it soon (booked a hair appointment next month so looking forward to that!)

I have no new pics but here's an older one from May you haven't seen with me, my mom, and my aunt:

Thank you! You absolutely just made my day and instantly became one of my favourite people, ever. :happy2:

You look like someone I know, which is in no way a negative thing! Awesome hair too, by the way. :)

Is that an industrial piercing? I can't tell.

I dyed my hair pink, yay.
It's a lot brighter in person.

I'm shocked you have any hair left, how is it not dead when you're dyeing it every other day? :P

Good looking Kura, like always :D

Today's my birthday so I had to dress up all nice!

I literally have no idea. I use oils and whatnot but I really have no idea how I have hair.

Nah, I've got two helix piercings and two lobe piercings. I'd like an industrial piercing though.

I'm too cool for school. Which is why I graduated.
