Fishing Chain Records

Just like the title says what your record on fishing chain shinies. Both lowest and highest. Im curious because i just started and got my poliwag at 53 and not sure if thats an average number for a shiny.

Chain Fishing is a bit of hit and miss I have gotten a shiny in about 7 Pokémon and then I went somewhere else and fished 100 and something and got nothing I know it is unproven by I usually tip 5 different people $1000 and I usually get a shiny in about 15-20 Pokemon.

Mine is about 203 and that was how long it took for me to find my first chain fished shiny. Oh the horror of even thinking about it, was beginning to seriously lose hope by that point. D: Lowest to find a shiny being somewhere in the 13-23 range.

I think I gave up after my best attempt was 15 and the game started to expect me to have reactions of The Flash.

I have found its best to chain fish after having a cup of coffee it shortens your reaction time i try to chain when im sleepy and always break before 20

I was fishing for a Clawitzer and then low and behold, after several missed attempts... a shiny Relicanth appeared! Caught it and then after a few more fishes (not very many at all) a Clawitzer appeared... and it was shiny :)

Couldn't believe my luck haha, I researched Chain Fishing after that and realised it was an actual thing as opposed to me just having insane luck lol xD I didn't know it was real when I got my shinies so I wasn't counting, but it wasn't a frustratingly long time at all :)

Ah that explains it, was wondering how I ended up with two lol :) Maybe different routes are luckier than others? I think I got mine in Ambrette Town. Or maybe if you've not having luck in a certain spot, you could try it a couple spaces further down maybe :)
