Another New Person

Hello everyone. =) As you can guess by my posting here, I'm new on this site. XD Just bought a Nintendo 3DS and Pokemon X a few weeks ago, so I'm a little bit behind in joining the forums. ^^; Feel free to message me if you'd like to battle or trade. =)

YAY TRADERS it makes me insanely happy seeing new members who get that involved already. Trading's awesome, great way to meet other fans and of course get cool Pokemon while you're at it. Big welcome to the forum! :D

And hope you're enjoying X so far. Have you played the earlier Pokemon games? When did you first become a fan? The 3D graphics seemed like such a huge jump to me, especially when you compare B/W2 and X/Y paha. Pokemon really is becoming more and more awesome.

Have a fantastic time and do ask if you need any help, yes?

Welcome to PokeCommunity! If you've got any questions, feel free to message basically anyone really, we're all friendly! How are you enjoying Pokemon X so far? Planning on getting any other games for the system?

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. XD And yes, have a loooooot of Eevees ready to trade out to anyone who wants them, lol. XD *trying (futilely) to breed a full team of 6Ivs. Ha ha. Ha ha ha. Yeeeeeah.... It's a work in progress (plenty of 4s and 5s to go around though. XD)*

Mhm, I played every legitly game up through Pokemon Crystal. XD Never had a Nintendo handheld past the GBC till now though, so only got to play a few of the other advanced games via emulators and such. It's really nice to be able to enjoy the full experience again though, /especially/ in 3D. XD Love the battle animations-- though Lumoise city was a nightmare for me for a good while. @[email protected] *directionally challenged*

And will definitely ask if I need help, thank you. =)

Thank you very much! ^^ Pokemon X is pretty fun, and definitely planning on getting the new ruby or sapphire remake when they're released. =) Just haven't been able to decide which one yet. XD; Any recommendations? lol.

Bravely Default and Donkey Kong Country Returns are two solid games in my opinion. DKC is pretty easy to play through but the level designs are pretty damn cool, while Bravely Default is a great RPG that definitely has a lot of "punch" to it for its current pricing. If you want the most bang for your buck, I'd go with Bravely Default because the RPG will take quite awhile to beat (and just because it's also my favorite game on that system to date.)

Oh, I almost forgot about A Link Between Worlds. That game is a fresh reminder of why Legend of Zelda is such a great franchise. They added a bunch of new, intuitive concepts to that game which makes it all the more enjoyable. Plus the game is dope...in lack of better words haha.

I'd meant more help deciding between Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but all very good to know! XD I've never actually gotten to play a Legend of Zelda game before, so might look into that. =) Definitely also gunna look into the kingdom hearts games in the future once I've about played Pokemon to death. XD

I don't suppose the 3DS has any equivalent of a Dark Souls type of game? XD lol. Pokemon X is really fun, but it definitely feels like it's holding your hand the whole way with how easy it is compared to the original gens when the elite four was always way stronger than you no matter how hard you trained. XD
