We'll Interview Your Character!

We'll interview your character!

Hello fellow Roleplayers, are you looking to flesh out your characters and maybe help others out with theirs in the process? In this thread, users may ask you questions about characters you have presented, questions that you'll answer in first-person through the character. Be it a new character of yours whose SU is still in the works, or an already existing character that you've been RPing with for quite a while now, you just might learn something new about them!

How it works:

- First, fill out the Basic Questionnaire which can be found below.
Introduce your character in a way that will give ground for others to ask questions. It is advised that you introduce (any amount of) characters to the thread through these basic questions.
-
Before you post any answers, you must first ask questions.
In order to post your answers, kindly ask a user who has already posted, questions about their character (no less than 3). Make sure they are meaningful and not inconsiderate or too generic. Put some creativity to them!
-
Ask questions even if you are responding to questions from other users.
Let asking questions not be a one-time thing. Keep it running smoothly!
- You can create a chain with someone.
You ask them, and they answer, and then they ask you, and you answer. No limitations regarding that, just the minimum five question rule to keep in mind.
-
Interviewing someone else's character without submitting answers of your own is fine, too.
If you feel like only helping out, you're welcome to do so.

*Don't forget to mention what Roleplay your character is from. That would be nice.

See below an example of how your post should look like:

1. At what point did you realise that your plan to infiltrate the Gold Tribe had horrendously cocked up?

2. What are your thoughts on Thrace, the Crimson Crusade, the People's Militia, and the general impending doom facing Exathor?

3. How was your relationship with your late brother?

4. If you had been (by some miracle) forgiven for your betrayals of the Gold Tribe, would you have enjoyed staying? (In a way other than 'Yay, I get to rob people'. Don't you sass me, now.)

5. If you're an expert at 'gettin' all the ladies', why are you single and chained up to rot in a dungeon? (Yes I went there.)

And now for the Diabolical Ralts himself, Razathiel. Currently featured in Pokémon Odyssey: Search for Cresselia.

What is your full name?

Oh, I have many names - Razathiel, The Dreadmage, The Eye of Dread, the Dark Psyker, The Nightmare - yes, yes, I am quite the accomplished evil wizard, I'm sure you're well aware. I also allow the nickname 'Raz', if you're of situation or mental deficiency to make the extra syllables a particular burden. Don't wear it out, though. I should probably mention, also, that I'm so incredibly evil it might as well be synonymous with me. I really am that evil.

When and where were you born?

Why in the f*cking Torn World should you want to know? I understood you were asking questions, but I didn't realise you wanted to go full-on irredeemably nosy bastard! Yveltal almighty, egh... erm, where to start? Twenty seven years ago, I suppose, in a village in the middle of nowhere during a time of great distress. Tell anyone and I'll rip your heel bones out through your skull.

Who are/were your parents?

Giratina's wings, you really are a pestering little prick, aren't you? Ugh - alright, a Gallade and a Chimecho, long dead; not my fault, surprisingly enough, though if they hadn't died I'd have probably got around to it one way or another anyhow. I always thought it a little more malevolently impressive if you manage to murder your parents, but I suppose that can't be helped now. Missed opportunities and all. If I ever conveniently obtain complete control over life and death, however, perhaps I can raise them and slay them again. That could work. Those are the kind of things that conveniently happen, you know, when you're a f*cking magnificently evil wizard.

Do you have any family other than your parents?

My parents didn't have any opportunity to create spawn to die at my hand, no.

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

Razathiel lets out a childish- erm, maleficent giggle- erm... cackle.

Hehee, well, there was this one time: this Alakazam - pitiful little mageling, he was - he actually seemed to think that he was more evil than me. Me! Really! Oh, that was funny. As it turned out, I was actually more evil, and by quite a large margin, in fact. So then I obliterated him and stole his spoons.

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

For the most part, I live nomadically and on my own - though I have been looking into getting a massive, evil fortress lately... nonetheless, recently I've found myself harboured by a group of Gold Tribe, Seekers, SEC members and Thieves. I can only assume they are led by Guardia, though of course the harbouring is nothing I am in need of - no, the group has called upon my considerable psychic and magical talent in order to solve their Darkrai problem. It all benefits me, of course - Arceus forbid I'd do anything out of the goodness of my heart. HA!

What do you do for a living?

I'm an evil wizard. It's pretty boss.

Do you have any special abilities?

Storms of fire, lightning, psychic and arcane energies - what do you want from me? I'm a sorcerer - an evil sorcerer - of repute to match any in the known world! I can rend the very fabric of reality asunder if necessary! How's that for a 'special ability'?

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.

Ergh... must you do this? Really? Egh... I am a Ralts, standing at roughly one foot and five inches tall. Yes, you heard correctly - now hold your tongue or lose it. I weigh around fifteen pounds, have dark green hair and glowing crimson eyes. Because I'm evil, you know. Red eyes are pretty evil. Aghem - I tend to wear a comfortable brown robe with a pointed cowl, although you can often see me without it, or with a pointed black wizard hat instead on a particularly good day. Evil day, rather.

To which social class do you belong?

Social class? I am the Dreadmage - society holds no relevance to me, other than how I shall break it.

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

I was born without the horn that usually adorns the heads of my species. Needless to say I am less aware of the pitiful emotions exhibited by those around me - not that I would care anyhow. Additionally, and the cause of great frustration, my inability to evolve continues to plague me, despite my age and indisputable power. If you must know, I happen to suffer from nightmares regularly, though that is something that by now I am adept at dealing with to the point of very little bother.

What does your voice sound like?

Not as I would prefer it. I'd much rather a deep and impressive boom; that would far better suit my villainous nature. As it stands, I'm stuck with this slightly gravelly, high-pitched, grating squeal of a voice. Quite a f*cking shame, that.

What do you have in your pockets?

My pockets? I have none - if you'd rather I divulge the contents of my Magic Room, I can tell you that there are hoards of riches, food, various musical instruments and a wide variety of magical and otherwise powerful trinkets. Quite the useful space, my Magic Room.

Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

Defining characteristics? I'm evil. That should do it.

woop I'll go first! Using Petrina from Crimson Dawn for this one.

What is your full name?

Petrina Levitt. My brothers and sisters in the Tribe can call me "Vanguard".

When and where were you born?

11th June 1033 AP. That makes me 26 for those of you not keeping track of the year. And where? Well at the Gold Tribe outpost "Xeo". It's where I've lived for my whole life and everything. Really small place up in the mountains

Who are/were your parents?

Jarrett "Gigavolt" Levitt is my dad. He's no legend of the Gold Tribe or anything. Just a Jolteon who did his duty. He's... gone now though. He died fighting against the first Rebellion we had and I... I don't want to talk about that really.
My mother's called Letitia. I saw a lot more of mom when I was little than I did my dad, she always looked after me and Percy. She got real scared when me and Percy said we were going to ECUL and become brothers and sisters of the Gold Tribe and she got real quiet when dad died... I still don't think she likes me being in the Gold Tribe.

Do you have any family other than your parents?

Well apart from them, we've got my twin brother, Percival! Well, Percy I'd rather call him. "Percival" sounds just so... stuffy. We've always been the best of friends, since as long as I can remember. Even if Xeo is a Gold Tribe outpost, that's not to say it's not full of Stygians and getting close to people isn't common and all. Friends can be a little hard to come by. I don't know what's happened to Percy nowadays though... when the Rebellion started our home was one of the first places Teneth would march through and... I can't remember the battle or what happened or anything. Just that I woke up a prisoner of the rebels.

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

Well, there was this one time when Percy used oatmeal to.... actually, you probably don't care about that a whole load. How about I tell you about a story of a battle? Or at least what I remember of it anyway?

See, like I said before there was a rebellion on and it started from somewhere that couldn't be much closer to home. The Gold Tribe was going to be a bit of a problem for it. Actually, we were going to squash it like it was full of bugs. But I know it wasn't going to happen at my home. There's seven of us there to defend it. A token, really - not like we were meant to be able to defend against a full-scaled invasion, but that's what we had to do. As soon as I got the first whispers of an attack headed our way, I ordered the civilians moved away from the village... I mean, we couldn't let them get hurt after all and... it was really tough saying goodbye to mom and Amy... so, we had to get them to go somewhere safe.

By Arceus that was the hardest few days just preparing defenses with everyone I'd come to know and care about, knowing we were all probably going to die... But we'd already resolved we'd sworn our lives to the Gold Tribe and that was exactly what it took. The mountains we lived in were perfect for putting down traps and ambushes and we all knew them like the back of ours hands... paws... wings... whatever. Lucius and Kurt setting around all of those Blast Seed landmines, Tabitha and me building up a snowbank so we could set off one hell of an avalanche - Like I say... I don't remember the battle, but I heard since then that we took quite a fair chunk from Teneth's army on its way through... I still want to know what happened. If any of my brothers or sisters survived, whether I even have a home to go back to. Anything.

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

I told you, silly! I still live in Xeo! Or rather... Well, I'm not going over that again. That hurt enough first time. But I used to live with my girlfriend, Amy and uh... don't make a thing out of that. Anyway, I met her ages ago, like ages and ages... I don't tell people often, but I was pretty small and weak for an Eevee. I used to get picked on a lot and she was one of the mons who used to make it a hell for me. Used to go around with a whole group of them - Percy used to stick up for me, sure but even if he was strong he was just one guy.

I guessed that something didn't sit right with her, because I found out one day that the big bad poliwrath was leaving me alone - and I saw what looked like what seemed to be burns of some kind all over the guy. Then, later on Amy showed up and told me it was her that did it. I didn't believe her at all, but over the next few weeks she was really insistent about it. I thought maybe I'd give her a chance - it was a lot of effort for her to take when she could just happily zap me all day anyway... and she really did want to be my friend, said she'd felt really bad about what she used to do.

So yeah, that's her. I know, it's a bit weird, a Glaceon and a Pikachu.. but oh well.

What do you do for a living?

I'm in the Gold Tribe, if you can call it a living as much as a way of life. I haven't told you who the Gold Tribe are yet, have I? If you're not from Exathor, you probably don't know after all.. Well, we're the most elite fighters known to Exathor and we are the arm of the Emperor's will. We swear our lives, both to the Tribe and to our comrades - comrades as close as any brother or sister, they say... although I still think blood is something special too...

In particular, I used to be in charge of the outpost I lived at. My father died whilst I was at ECUL training to join the Gold Tribe and whilst I didn't quite have the fighting skill of my brothers and sisters, I'd shown myself to be a strategist and leader - so I took up my dad's old job and took control of the place. It's certainly not how I'd liked to have come into it, but the job needed to be done, and I was the mon to do it.

Do you have any special abilities?

Well, near-total mastery over ice. Even though I'm honestly not the fighter that my comrades are, I'm not a slouch by any definition. I'm also, even if I'm saying it myself, quite the cunning kitty. I'll make plans and strategies that outwit even the brightest spark the rebels can come up with and I'll lead anyone who will follow to a victory.

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, these kind of things.

Well, uh... Have you seen a Glaceon before? Well, I look like one of those.

To which social class do you belong?

I don't know... social classes are those things the nobles talk about when they want to put themselves above everyone else. I mean, I don't think I'm better or worse than anymon else, sometimes the civilians want to give me respect without knowing me because I'm Gold Tribe... but really, I'd rather they knew me.

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

Hmm, not really... aside from a crippling fear of oatmeal.

What does your voice sound like?

Well, like kind of high-pitched and always really loud. I mean, you won't miss me speaking in a crowded room for sure.

What do you have in your pockets?

What's a pocket?

Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

Well, apparently I'm too jolly, like all the time. I just don't see a point in being any other way though! I mean, when you're faced with a bad situation, sure you could sit around all day and mope and whine that it's all going to hell and everything but really, I'd much rather face it head-on and smile the whole way!

SV November 19th, 2014 12:10 PM

Petrina!....

1. So Thrace is killing and stuff. What's it like living and knowing soon everything might be over?

2. If you could do any other job in Exathor besides being in the Gold Tribe, what would you do?

3. Why did you get the name Vanguard?

4. What has been your biggest failure so far?

5. There's been some suspicious reports tying you with the Emperor. Intimately. Care to comment on that?

Time to do one as well. And I guess I'll do my character from Crimson Dawn too! Gerrick.

What is your full name?

Who's askin'? Hmm? Oh yeah, doin' an interview. Gerrick Errias.

When and where were you born?

1029 AP. Don't ask for the date, I dun remember. Where? Some cave outside of a town that hated our guts. Can't tell ya why. Well, maybe I can but I won't.

Who are/were your parents?

Eh... I don't remember my real parents much. But the closest thing I had to a dad was Roartz, the Vigoroth who took me into his band.

Do you have any family other than your parents?

*smiles* Roartz and the other bandits were the only family I needed growin' up.

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

Haha! Oh man, where to begin? I got a lot to say... oh I know a good one! So we're tracking a carriage carryin' a pretty prominent noble from between two cities. We been after this thing for two days now, trackin' and making sure we dun lose him. We set up a few road blocks to make sure he takes the path we want him to, where the rest of us are waiting.

Now lemme tell you, this guy is load. I mean LOADED. Like, stacked with the good stuff higher than a Wailord. And, he's the most pompous guy you'll ever meet. I mean, this guy was FULL of himself. Pretty cloak, finest jewelry, silks I ain't ever heard of but feel soft like butter. And gold. Gold jewels, gold bracelets, gold, gold, gold friggin' everywhere. Damn if we thought he wasn't made of the stuff. Needless to say, when we all popped out of our hidin' spots, took out his guards and surrounded his carriage, the expression on his face was one of the best things I ever seen. *grins*

Oh, and we found out he doesn't sh*t gold.

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

I'm uh... I'm with the Gold Tribe right now... sorta? I'm kinda in a cell... it's not that fun. The only people I've been seeing recently are the Kricketune that keeps chirpin' all night and the Weedle who keeps giving me the evil eye. At least, I think he's doin' that. Hey, where did he go? I just saw him a second ago... was he ever real? Oh Arceus, how long was I in here?

What do you do for a living?

I do it all. Anythin' and everythin' that pays the bills. Bandit, thief, merc, and everythin' in between. Did I ever tell you about that time I impersonated my twin brother, who was like second-in-command of the Gold Tribe but died? Not my best choice of makin' some gold...

Do you have any special abilities?

I'm a master at Ground Type moves. And gettin' all the ladies.

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, these kind of things.

Eh, you don't live my life without pickin' up a bit to show for it over the years. Got a scar on my left ribs, two more on my back. Pretty sure part of the end of my tail is splintered, but I could never tell with that thing anymore. Other than that, just your average Krookodile.

To which social class do you belong?

Class? I ain't never gone to school!

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

Gold is my weakness, the law is my disease.

What does your voice sound like?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4xShWbhkFI

What do you have in your pockets?

Pockets? They took everything when they put me in these Arceus-damn chains, damn it.

Gelius3 November 19th, 2014 1:13 PM

Well Gerrick...

1. About your abilities... How many grilfriends you got?

2. Any other story you want to share?

3. Did you had a nickname?

4. Do you have friends that are not Pokemon?

5. Last question... You like to stay on Gold Tribe?
******

Here comes Gelius From Earth and Sky...

What is your full name?

Gelius Prowers Icestorm... Pretty weird name right?

When and where were you born?

Well... New Bark Town... Don't ask what is the year... Being travelling by 6 years makes me forgetting some details, but i'm sure it was June 16th.

Who are/were your parents?

Aurelia Icestorm is my mother... She was a great Pokemon coordinator and she said to me to follow her steps... Will never happen. My dad is Greg Prowers, a great Pokemon trainer. He also worked at the Johto Police Department.

Do you have any family other than your parents?

Family... Yeah! My brother Mark, he is the actual champion on Sinnoh (I don't care how he did became a champion). He is pretty annoying but he sometimes is helpful. My fiancee Maya... Yes i have a fiancee. Was my parents choice. The rest of the dex holders. My mentor Steven Stone and my Pokemon.

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

Any story... That's hard, because i have thousands! Believe me. But one in particular... That one when i was at the Jotho tournament at the final. I was against Mark.

We had only one Pokemon up to fight. Flygon vs Infernape. Yeah using ultimate moves like Hyper Beam and Blast Burn was not a good idea. We blew up all the battlefield. We were lucky for not hurting anyone except ourselves. I won the tournament but then i had to pay the reconstruction of the Stadium.

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

On the actual time i'm travelling. Again. With my pokemon. The others i don't think its good idea to mention names.

What do you do for a living?

Living the life on the best way i can. Also helping the others.

Do you have any special abilities?

Capturing Pokemon, battling and using fire type Pokemon.

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.

I don't know how to describe myself. Only that i have a brown cloak and a black hat.

To which social class do you belong?

I came from a rich family! But a very rich one! My family is so rich that used to help Jotho region with some problems they had. But i never act like a rich boy that treats the other people awful. For that talk with Mark or Platina.

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

I sneeze a lot when the dust is near.

What does your voice sound like?

Deep voice. But people say that sometimes my voice sounds horrible.

What do you have in your pockets?

You want to finish this interview today? Anyway... Pokedex, Pokegear, Pokemon, Smoke Bombs, Pokeballs. Does the gym badges count? If yes, 32 gym badges. And no i'm not lying.

Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

I'm stubborn and... No more.

Plumbum November 19th, 2014 1:28 PM

So Thrace is killing and stuff. What's it like living and knowing soon everything might be over?

You don't think of it like that. It could be, but that's exactly what I'm fighting to stop and if we have to be so defeatist about this... if I've done my job right and Thrace still wins, I'll be dead and I won't see whatever Thrace does to our world.

If you could do any other job in Exathor besides being in the Gold Tribe, what would you do?

I.... I.... don't think... I don't know. I mean... fighting, being in the Gold Tribe... it's all I've ever known, it's all I'm good at. I couldn't do anything else and I wouldn't leave my station for the world.

Why did you get the name Vanguard?

Well, we choose our own titles! I thought it suited me, when Percy told me I was kind of "Do first, fear for yourself later".

What has been your biggest failure so far?

(Petrina is taking some considerable time in silence)

I was in charge of my brothers and sisters at home... and I don't know if any of them are alive any more. We should have just abandoned home and fought with the others, but we were too headstrong to keep where we live... Hindsight's a beautiful thing, isn't it?

There's been some suspicious reports tying you with the Emperor. Intimately. Care to comment on that?

Consider this interview over. Thanks for your time.

And some returns to Gerrick.
1. Tell me, now we know your true colours, do you ever look back and regret anything you've done?
2. So, bandit? What gave you such disrepect for the law?
3. There's always a line, isn't there? Where would you draw it? How far would you go for your pay? Would you steal delicious confectionery from an infant, for example?
4. How do you think your sudden captivity is affecting you? Got Stockholm Syndrome for the Tribe yet?
5. Are there any particular members of the Tribe you dislike less than the rest? Or maybe hate more intensely?
6. What is the airspeed of an unladen swallow?

Turnip November 19th, 2014 2:58 PM

Yo Gerrick, answer me a thing... or a few things. Note - I started writing these questions first, I swear, I just had to spend time answering the questions with Raz. Y'all are just ninjas.

IggyKoopa November 19th, 2014 4:14 PM

I'm going ask both Gelius and Raz questions because that'll make everything so much easier for those below. And everyone, hit "Preview Post" to check for ninjas before you post! That'l make it a lot easier for all of us when we aren't all directing our questions toward the wrong people.

Gelius:
You said your parents got you engaged with Maya. Would you mind sharing some details?

You seem to like specializing in Fire types. Do you feel your team is perhaps a little unbalanced or have you compensated for the type's weaknesses?

Why exactly are you carrying smoke bombs on you?

What was your relationship with your brother when you were kids?

Do you ever get homesick, traveling for so long?

---

Raz:
What inspired you to be so evil?

What is the most evil thing you have done?

What is the most evil thing you plan to do?

Musical instruments, you said? Can you play any of them?

Do you think your magic would be more powerful were you to evolve?

---

Right. With that out of the way, I'm actually going to use my character from In a League of Their Own, which is dead, but I like her so much that I plan to use her in either a future RP or in a fanfic or something.

What is your full name?

Alexandria Dragic. And don't ask how to pronounce my last name; you would then go out of your way to pronounce it correctly and then I'd feel weird about it.

When and where were you born?

February 2, 1996 in Snowpoint City, Sinnoh.

Who are/were your parents?

Lisa Dragic and Mark Waterman. I have a biological father somewhere -- I was probably told who it was at some point but I didn't (and still don't) care. Let's just say that my mother didn't make very great decisions when she was my age.

Do you have any family other than your parents?

I'm an only child, but I do have some extended family on my mom's side... but they attract so much drama that I don't like to associate myself with them.

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

There's the time I showed my friends my first Pokémon... yeah, that's a good story.

So we were all 15 at the time and I had decided to start battling, so I got someone I knew to catch a Pokémon for me. I had hyped it with my friends throughout the whole school day, but of course the school doesn't allow Pokémon outside of their balls. So when the school day is over and my friends (Andy, Jacob, and Sophia) and I were walking home, I finally get to show them all. And of course my first Pokémon was a Gastly because I like ghost types, so the moment I let it out of its ball, they get a face full of Gastly, and Andy and Jacob just flip! *giggle* Sophia was completely unfazed, though. Sophia's cool.

So, uh. That's the whole story. My life isn't very interesting...

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

I live in a house that most people would call really nice but is pretty average given that we live in a good part of the city. My stepdad's a pretty cool guy, but he works at a research station up north so he's away for days at a time. My mom, on the other hand, is trying to get back her youth that she missed when raising me. I stay out of it.

What do you do for a living?

Nothing for a living, really, unless online art commissions count. I'm heading to college at the end of the summer.

Do you have any special abilities?

Um.. I'm human, as far as I can tell, so no.

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, these kind of things.

5'7", one-hundred-and-I-forgot pounds, the palest skin you can imagine, black hair that likes to get in my eyes, brown eyes (although I usually wear red contacts). Style of dress? Well, right now I'm wearing a tank top, hoodie, and sweatpants. My skin's pretty clear; I don't really have any 'distinguishing marks.'

To which social class do you belong?

Upper-middle class, which can be attributed entirely to my stepdad, however much my mom claims that they both earned the money to pay for her Lexus.
I hope she doesn't read this...

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

No, not really, other than the common allergies like pollen and stuff.

What does your voice sound like?

It's really soft, apparently.

What do you have in your pockets?

Um.. *empties pockets* My cell phone, and my really cheap off-brand MP3 player.

Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

I am very introverted... like, as in "I'm only friends with who I'm friends with because I've known them since I was a kid." I'm not shy -- that suggests I'm not really self-confident, but I am -- I just don't feel like being around other people, because, you know, other people are jerks.

People also tell me I act really creepy. I won't deny it, but they haven't seen creepy until they've seen my friend Sophia.

Logical Cabbage November 19th, 2014 5:40 PM

These questions are for Alexandria.

~ By drama in your family, was it the controversial one or the plain old simple life.

~ If you could change one thing about your stepdad, what would it be?

~ Describe one of the most creepiest moments you did in your life.

~ What about pokemon attracted you to become a trainer?

~ Do you respect your mother for the choices she did?

Anyway, I'm choosing Tesserain Barren from the Mana Cage, since I love her evilness.

**********

What is your full name?

(Tesserain sighs, clearly annoyed to be here) My name is Tesserain Barren, but if you know what's best for you, you'll call me Stone just fine.

When and where were you born?

(She glares a you for a second) Is this even relevant to the topic? (She sighs) But fine you gruesome people. All I will tell you was that I was born in Othlond and I'm currently 20.

Who are/were your parents?

Really? If you'd know what I did, you'd know their names. (She waves a hand) Find out yourself. Next question please!

Do you have any family other than your parents?

Well, since I don't know them well, I can't be specific. But, it was my twice removed cousin Marta that introduced me to dark magic and all. Then there's the first funeral I went to about Uncle Lawrence, although I don't remember much at all... (Tesserain puts her hand under her chin)

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

Hmmm... that's a really hard. Well I would like to brag how I beat up this kid once, when I was about ten, when he tried to take my lunch money. I ended up giving him a wedgie, a very purple eye, a cracked rib, and taking away his money after years of tormenting me. Ever since then, I've been addicted to battling.

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

I am currently living in the Mana Cage after mocking a judge and torturing my parents with dark magic. (Tesserain grins maniacally) But I can't answer with whom specifically, since I've been there for like what, less than a month? I can tell you that people are there for three reasons: (she holds up a finger) One, because the government found out you practice dark magic. (She holds up another finger) Two, you know about dark magic and the government doesn't want you to spread the news. (She holds up another finger) Three, you work a menial job there, like guarding us prisoners. Besides that, I can't exactly describe people there since I don't care much really. The girls love to fight like me, but sadly guys are too bashful or naive to fight with a girl physically. (She shrugs her shoulders to say she's done)

What do you do for a living?

You did hear when I said I live in a prison, right? There isn't much you can do, especially if you can't even use magic because the walls block that. (She frowns) It's a shame really.

Do you have any special abilities?

Unless you count doing dark magic, fighting, being logical, and be sarcastic, I don't have any that apply to this question. Next!

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.

Sadly genes have cursed me forever with having blue eyes and blond hair, one that would use the word pretty I think. (She shrugs her shoulders) But that's why I wear a jacket with a hoodie that attempts to cover my face. Black is the best color there is, so... If I'm pale, then you answer that. (She lifts up her hands innocently and then puts them down) Don't want to be racist or anything now. Well I do have a tattoo, but I think I have to kill you if I were to show you that. Trust me on that one. Any other questions?

To which social class do you belong?

Well, I'm fortunate to be rich. I could get things like dark magic books easily like that if I paid the right people. I sure do miss the food I ate everyday. The food here in the Mana Cage is awful. I would sure like to know who cooks this food for sure...

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

Not that I can recall of. Well maybe I need a bit more muscle to pack more of a punch... (Tesserain starts to crack her knuckles)

What does your voice sound like?

If you can hear, you'll know it's deep and not pitched.

What do you have in your pockets?

(She pulls out a gun, a pair of knives, a cellphone, a piece of rope that is enough to choke a person, a flashlight, and some extra bullets. She smiles) Happy now?

Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

I am purely annoying, so... (Tesserain holds out a knife that she pulled out) Want to see something else? (She smiles again)

manadhon November 19th, 2014 6:32 PM

Oh questions, how I love them. How about some for Tesserain?
  1. Do you regret what you did to your parents?
  2. Would you elaborate further on this cousin twice removed?
  3. Do give us a better picture of the dining you partook in and the food involved, will you?
  4. Why is it so unfortunate that you have blonde hair and blue eyes? Stereotypes perhaps?
  5. Are there any acts of dark magic that you've committed remotely comparable to what you did to your parents? If so, what then?

Now then, Mortimer from Earth and Sky: Return to Lethia if you please:

What is your full name?

My name is Mortimer Slartibartfast.

When and where were you born?

I was born in an undisclosed location of Eastern Hoenn, and, uh, I don't actually know when I was born. My best estimate is somewhere in the summer.

Who are/were your parents?

My parents are a couple of illegal immigrants. It's been four years since I ran away though, so I really don't know how they're doing. Dad's probably beating mom, just like before....

Do excuse me for a moment now, I'd like to throw up in private.

Do you have any family other than your parents?

I'm really not sure.

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

That's a bit of a touchy subject. There was this one time though, where I woke up chained to a wall and had to dislocate my- wait, that was a dream. You can thank my Hypno for that one.

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

Do Pokémon count? I'm a bit of a drifting, homeless loner anyway.

What do you do for a living?

I'm your average, wandering trainer who engages in battles to the death with magical animals.

Do you have any special abilities?

The amazing ability to survive terrible accidents with only massive hospital bills?

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.

I'm an albino male with the usual white hair and red eyes, who stands something over six feet. I dress in this grimy trenchcoat here, and these faded jeans and this random t-shirt. The only other notable aspect of me is the tattoo over my right eye, as you should be able to see.

To which social class do you belong?

Despite my moderate wealth (beating up kids and taking their money has its benefits), I prefer to quite literally live in the woods. There is no social class that describes me.

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

I've broken far too many bones to count. I'm surprised I can walk upright at this point.

What does your voice sound like?

Somebody once told me I sounded like Chris Farley, but I don't know who that is.

What do you have in your pockets?

Well, all of my important stuff is kept in my satchel, but I'll check.

Let's see here... Gum wrappers, sand, wood chips, a couple leaves, and, OOH! A penny!

Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

I don't think there's a single thing about me that isn't weird, if this interview is any indication. I choose to embrace it though.

IggyKoopa November 19th, 2014 7:58 PM

Questions for Mortimer:
How do most people react to your general weirdness?

Are you a reckless person or were your accidents entirely out of your control?

Is there a particular Pokémon of yours that you like to battle with more than any of the others?

You say you make all your money off of Pokémon battling - has this ever backfired on you?

What do you think of other people's day-to-day lives? Do you view it as boring, or is it something you long for?

By drama in your family, was it the controversial one or the plain old simple life.

The people on my mom's side of the family just don't like each other, and they do actually wish harm on one another from time to time.

If you could change one thing about your stepdad, what would it be?

His job. I honestly do miss him after a while of him being away, and I don't normally pine for attention from my parents, but being separated from my father figure for long periods of time make me realize how much I want it.

Describe one of the most creepiest moments you did in your life.

Hm... well, one time, my cousins (stepdad's side) were staying at my house for a few days - and bear in mind, they had to travel all the way from Jubilife to get here. One day the younger of the two - Cory - was being a little sh*t, so come around midnight, I snuck my Gastly into the room where he was sleeping, made a little noise to wake him up, and... I'll leave it up to your imagination what happened next.

What about pokemon attracted you to become a trainer?

It was just something that everyone else was doing, and most people I knew had been battling for a few years, or at least tried it once a few years earlier. I was out of the loop.

Do you respect your mother for the choices she did?

I'm not really in a position to say anything on that. I mean, if she hadn't gotten knocked up by some guy she drunkenly met at a party, then I wouldn't be here right now.

SV November 19th, 2014 10:45 PM

Gerrick questions:

From Gelius3

1. About your abilities... How many grilfriends you got?

Well, uh... I don't have any now... but I could get any if I wanted to! I'm just a bit busy doin' other stuff... like hanging from a ceiling an sh*t.

2. Any other story you want to share?

*Chuckles* I'm not good with dates, as my bandit buddies know. Half of the time, I'll be in the wilderness without a clue what time it was, let alone was date or season. So the boys and I are having a pretty slow week. No jobs, no fancy people around. The closest town is dirt poor and dry. We've been here for a while now on a bunch of hunches that didn't pan out. We got a tip of another possible job the followin' day, but seeing as everythin' else went sour, we were spectin' this to be the same. So that night, we decided to get completely wasted on Rawst Berry Liquor. Powerful stuff when its concentrated enough. To this day I can't remember all of the things that happened that night. I know there was a lot of movin' around involved, cause I was in a hole 'nother town in a house I ain't ever seen before.

I spent the next day tryina retrace my steps and find the rest of my guys. So apparently, I married an old Granbull lady, stole the deed to a farm and sold it to a pair of restaurant owners for Zubat wings so I could fly, stole the town head's bed and gave it to the local town lunatic so he could fly away on his magic carpet, broke a family's home and converted the wood pieces into a shrine to worship the great God of Death, Skitty the invincible. I later found out the others were fine and went on that job without me. Apparently, they just decided to screw with me so they added a bit of extra stuff into my drinks.

Moral of the story: keep track of your dates, even when you're livin' the life and not carin' otherwise, cause you never know when people'll do. Best birthday ever.

3. Did you had a nickname?

I had a few. Most recently Shadowrend But I kinda stole that one. I was once known as the Dairy Air for a milk-stealing job that went sour. I think it was Roartz's way of telling me I was an a$$.

4. Do you have friends that are not Pokemon?

Not Pokemon? So what... rocks or some sh*t like that? *laughs*

5. Last question... You like to stay on Gold Tribe?

No way, that was a dumb decisions. Prolly the dumbest I had. I need to get the hell outta here...

From Plumbum:

1. Tell me, now we know your true colours, do you ever look back and regret anything you've done?

Who says you know my true colors? You don't know me!

2. So, bandit? What gave you such disrespect for the law?

I never knew anythin' else. I was raised in the life. It's just how I survive. Is that so wrong? Well, maybe it is, but the bottom line is I'll do whatever I gotta do to make it.

3. There's always a line, isn't there? Where would you draw it? How far would you go for your pay? Would you steal delicious confectionery from an infant, for example?

How far would I go for my pay? As far as I can go without it threatenin' my life. How far would I go for my life? All the way an' more.

4. How do you think your sudden captivity is affecting you? Got Stockholm Syndrome for the Tribe yet?

I dunno what the hell Stockhold... uh, Stockmold has to do with anything, but I know the first thing I'm doing when I bust outta here is beat the sh*t outta that torturer. *looks around the room* Really wish I could bust myself out sooner...

5. Are there any particular members of the Tribe you dislike less than the rest? Or maybe hate more intensely?

Hmm... Noah and Alphus are OK. Would be better if they came to visit and say hi or somethin'. If Thrasher dies first, I think I'll sleep a bit better at night.

6. What is the airspeed of an unladen swallow?

... what?

From True Epicness:

1. At what point did you realise that your plan to infiltrate the Gold Tribe had horrendously cocked up?

Prolly the moment I stepped foot inside the city and that one gold guy saw me... it was supposed to be a quick in and out, just scout around, see what I could dig up in a few minutes, and then gone. *sighs* My nose is gettin' itchy...

2. What are your thoughts on Thrace, the Crimson Crusade, the People's Militia, and the general impending doom facing Exathor?

The other things don't matter. What matters is that Thrace is basically gonna kill us all. Hope you all enjoyed your lives because this is it. Find a way to extend the last bit of it as much as you can. As for me... here I am, dangling in my cell...

3. How was your relationship with your late brother?

We were close once, as kids... I think. I dunno, it's been a while, and I haven't seen him since then. In fact, the bandits I ran with were more my family than he ever was. Prolly why I didn't mind taking his things when I saw him dead.

4. If you had been (by some miracle) forgiven for your betrayals of the Gold Tribe, would you have enjoyed staying? (In a way other than 'Yay, I get to rob people'. Don't you sass me, now.)

Bein' in the Gold Tribe is too much damn work. And everyone's so noble and honorable and sh*t. And I don't even know if you guys get paid! I mean, I didn't get anythin'!

5. If you're an expert at 'gettin' all the ladies', why are you single and chained up to rot in a dungeon? (Yes I went there.)

*shrugs* Maybe that's what the ladies are into... they're just havin' trouble gettin' too me when there's a war on and all that jazz.

Raz questions!

1. You're trapped in an island, and you HAVE to bring two other characters from your roleplay. Which two would you bring. You have to pick two, no exceptions. In other words, which two characters can you tolerate the most?

2. Any big plans after the whole Darkrai fiasco blows over?

3. What's your favorite pastime? Besides the obvious answer of being evil.

4. What do you think of the other factions?

5. How do you feel about working together in a small group like you are now? Any particular difference than working by yourself? What do you prefer?

Gelius3 November 20th, 2014 3:33 AM

Thanks for the questions 90FC3C . Now i'm going to answer them.

You said your parents got you engaged with Maya. Would you mind sharing some details?

Hum... Well, she also is from a rich family. Their parents wanted her to have a fiancee and they thought that i would be a good choice since i was from a rich family and i was at her age. It's pretty annoying having her always following me, that's one of the reasons i love travelling! Wait a minute...

Maya get out of here! I'm having an interview!

You seem to like specializing in Fire types. Do you feel your team is perhaps a little unbalanced or have you compensated for the type's weaknesses?

If i am against my brother and he is using Feraligatr or Empoleon then i don't have advantage. Otherwise i have advantages.

Why exactly are you carrying smoke bombs on you?

Well... *Throws Smoke Bomb and disappears*

*Reappears in the room* Sorry i went to get the cake the fan club sent me. Those fan girls are not human. But... *eats piece of cake* Sometimes you need to dance with the devil. This cake is delicious!

Anyway... I carry smoke bombs to disappear on cloud of smoke.

What was your relationship with your brother when you were kids?

We used to make pranks to each other. He also said things like: "I'm a champion and you are a loser!"; we used to steal each other things. We used to fight a lot.

And we used to fight to see who would go to the bathroom first.

Do you ever get homesick, traveling for so long?

No! Of course not!

***

Now for Morty:

1. How did you broke arms, legs, etc...?

2. Did you had a nickname?

3. You have any enemy or someone you hate?

4. Who was your starter Pokemon?

5. Do you have any story from the past that is not a dream?

GastlyGibus November 20th, 2014 8:20 AM

I'll ask some questions for Alexandria:

1. It sounds like you and your Gastly get into a lot of mischief. Do you have any other Pokemon besides Gastly, and if so, any interesting stories about them?
2. How would you describe your friendship with Sophia?
3. Forgive me for prying, but it sounds like your mother is a source of contention for you. Would you mind elaborating on your feelings towards her?
4. You mentioned you do art commissions. What kind of art do you do? Do you stick to any particular theme for your art?
5. You also mentioned going to college. What do you plan on studying?

And as for me, I will answer questions with my character Tavhir from Crimson Dawn.

_________________________________________________

Alright, can we get on with this? I'm kind of in the middle of something important...

What is your full name?

Tavhir Eldren. Next?

When and where were you born?

Ascanfell. 19 years ago. Didn't grow up there, but I was born there.

Who are/were your parents?

(He shifts uncomfortably in his seat, glancing about the room as if formulating an answer)

My parents? Well, there's my father Vennson. One of the higher ups in the Hesperian military. I... well, as a kid, I didn't really get along with him very well. He was always away on duty. But he's a good man. He took care of me, you know?

My mother, Joanna, was home more often, though that wasn't saying much. She was more into politics, but she did right by me and my sister. Always made sure we were taken care of. When I was younger, I guess I kind of resented them... but I'm older now, and we're on much better terms.

Do you have any family other than your parents?

Only my sister Cassandra. I got along with her more than anyone else. Whenever my parents were out, she assumed the duties of a caretaker. She was always like a second mother to me, really. Um... don't tell her I said that.

Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?

Well, there was this one time my sister had an important date with some cute guy she liked, and she wanted to look her best. Being the loving, caring brother I am, I went and hid all of her jewelry and dressings all over the house. Oh man, she was in such a panic! "Where's my necklace?" "I can't find my ribbons!" You have no idea how hard it was to not bust up laughing in front of her. She must have circled the entire house four times! And the maids... they were just as frantic! It was hysterical!

Of course, she eventually found all of her things and still managed to get out on time. But still... it was really funny to watch. I don't think she ever found out about that...

Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.

Live? That's a joke, right? I mean, being in the Gold Tribe, we're constantly moving, it seems. Always out and about doing this and that. Though I can't really complain about the company. Some of them can be... annoying, but they get the job done, at least.

I guess the company is the Gold Tribe, but it seems I've been put into one group in particular. Luckily, Cassandra is there with me, but there's a whole cast of characters it would seem. Some of them are decent 'mon, like Thrasher and Noah, and then some of them... well, they're kind of quirky, you know? Not necessarily BAD, but... like, how did Punisher even get in the Gold Tribe??

What do you do for a living?

Oh, you know, fight a bunch of insufferable fools in a rebellion, wake up death goddesses, go rock collecting. Just Gold Tribe things.

Do you have any special abilities?

Apparently I can see pretty well in the dark. I never really noticed it, but I guess that's just because I'm so used to it. It helps when we have to navigate a cave or some other dark place.

Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.

(Raises an eyebrow, slightly confused.)

You're looking right at me! Are you blind or something? (He sighs) Well, I guess for anybody who happens to see this 'interview,' I'm just a normal Pawniard, you know? Yellow eyes, covered in blades, bladed hands... you know, as used to it as I am, having little daggers for hands is still pretty annoying. Uh... I'm 1'05", only about 20 lbs...

(He points a bladed hand at the interviewer) Make one joke about my height and you'll regret it.

To which social class do you belong?

Growing up, my parents both being in very prestigious positions, we were definitely among the upper class. We even had maids and butlers and stuff like that. Definitely not what I was used to... but I didn't really care either way. I did things by myself anyways. Couldn't stand having somebody else do things for me.

Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?

Not having hands can be problematic. Also, I have a severe allergy to stupidity. It makes me break out in sarcasm. Does that count?

What does your voice sound like?

You're listening to me talk right now! What kind of question is that?

(He sighs again)

I don't know... medium pitched? A little scratchy? That's what people say, anyways.

What do you have in your pockets?

(He fishes around in the brown scarf on his neck)

I've got... my Gold Tribe badge, some Oran berries, a specially made pen for my 'unique' hands, and... yeah, that's pretty much it.

Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

Well, my sister tells me I need to lay off the sarcasm a lot... and that I'm prone to losing my temper. I don't know. Hey, at least I can admit it, right?

Now, if you'll excuse me, there's currently a rebellion going on and a death goddess out to kill us. I kind of need to get on that.

Greiger November 20th, 2014 10:27 AM

For Petrina!

-Who is your ideal mate?
-If you could become friends with one person, who would it be?
-What would you do if you were ever made the new Trade Prince?
-Which Gold Tribe member do you like the most and why?
-If Timmy’s mom has three sons, two of whom are named Jason and Elroy, what is the name of the third son?

~~~~
(For reference, three minds in one body.
Black = Penance
Red = Paradox
Purple = Brynn)
What is your full name?
Penance Malum. Well, technically, I am known as Madman to some. It’s an either/or kind of proposition. Either ya love me and call me by my name, or you want to disrespect me and call me by my title. Go ahead, disrespect me, but when you wake up at three in the morning with a very urgent need to defecate and you find out that the bathroom has been glued shut, don’t come crying to me. Well… you probably won’t be able to get to me anyways. I do happen to love sitting on toilet seats late at night.
When and where were you born?
What? You never read my book? *The first volume of ‘Life Guide to Life : How to be awesome like Penance* comes sailing in to smack your face* It’s all in there. Sheesh, so many illiterates! Still… I SUPPOSE I could give a few answers. I was born in the absolutely lovely town of Cape City all the way in Valkaria. Lovely little country, would be far nicer if they actually built a statue of me somewhere, but that’s far off topic! In any case I was born a good fifty-four years ago, way back before the first war broke out.
Who are/were your parents?
Well, my father was… not around. I rather that I don’t mention him at all. In fact, from this moment on, he officially doesn’t exist. He’s somewhere in Valkaria, maybe dead, maybe not, who knows? He’s only a mindless foot soldier, someone who helped the goldies and the alpha alliance. Never had time for his family. Hah, even in the war he never bothered to come after me when I left. So yes, he’s wiped out of history, goodbye, no more questions about him. My mother on the other han-
Sorry Penance, but I think it’s my time to answers some questions.
Well boo hoo hoo Paradox, this is MY questionnaire, so… you go play over there or something. Eat some cake, you could use it.
… You know I can’t.
HAHAHAHA! I know! I just have so much fun teasing ya!
… My turn now. Ah there we go! Let me flip through here… and here we are. Parents huh? Well, my old daddy was Darkrai. Yeah, figure that out. Golduck plus Darkrai equals more Golduck, how the hell does that happen, right? Personally, my father is s**t. Yes, pure grade outhouse material. So get this, father births me right as he’s about to win, then he deflates and instantly crumbles! Honestly, that’s the part that really drove me insane. He’s a legendary and can’t stand up to a few mon who only have the power of friendship? Honestly it sounds like one of those horrendous books that Obsidian might read. I just have to one up him now. He wants the world under his control? Then I’ll make sure he doesn’t get it.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
I know Penance doesn’t. Brynn does. She has a s**t ton of them. Her brother went full mating mode, just had all of these little kids. For me personally, I have my dearly beloved brother Blackguard. Yeah, he’s like me. He’s older, but he’s SO slow. Honestly, life would have been better if I had been born first, but he came from some Golurk named Paladin. I could care less where he is. As long as he doesn’t mess up my time here, then my bro can do whatever the hell he wants.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Oh! Yes! Okay, so this one time Penance had been keeping me under, had a nice psychic shield right? Perfect way to keep me buried under his thoughts when suddenly, BOOM! Bad news hits him. Some friends or something were killed near Karn. I was too busy lounging around to even bother listening, but oh did he get mad! I just eased my way out and presto! I was in control once more and I wrecked s**t up! It was hilarious! Okay, so there was this one goldie Gastrodon that I absolutely ripped to shreds, pieces went flying everywhere! And then there were some Seekers that I blasted with rubble from the building!
It was the absolute best time I had in so long! Then Guardia came around and HAD to be a Guardia!
Hey! That’s my phase! You can’t steal it!
Technically I’m not. I AM a part of you, so therefore I’m not stealing. In any case, she was a total Guardia and wrecked my groove. Case in point, next time I want to have some fun, I have to take out a certain Zangoose first. My father might be too proud to learn from his mistakes, but I always adapt.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
Heh, I live in Penance of course! You could say I’m his inner chaos, the thing that makes him tick, the demon of his sins, the-
That’s enough Paradox. You shan't frighten them anymore
Cr**. Brynn, this is MY time to shine I’ll have you know.
Well she hasn’t had a chance to speak yet. Give her the room Paradox.
Grumble grumble.
Thank you Penance. Well, quick introduction, I am Brynn, and I too live within Penance’s mind. Paradox is essentially the dark, sinful, part of Penance that was brought out and given a personification thanks to Darkrai’s corruptive powers. I… I was a Gardevoir at one point. I had fought against Paradox and Blackgurad in the first war to try and free Penance and Paladin from their corruptive influences. We succeeded… but I had been far too injured. I was about to perish and fade away into nothingness when Penance reached out with his psychic powers and absorbed portions of my mind into his, effectively saving my life. I am missing a few memories here and there, mostly of my early childhood, but it’s not all bad considering I was given an additional thirty years of life. Time to speak to my brother… to see my nieces and nephews.
Penance… well… he’s akin to Paradox, but far more tame. He has good intentions in heart, it’s only his behaviors that cause some mon to shy away from him. He’s a planner, he’s a metaphor user, and he can be socially awkward. Everything he says, everything he does is a planned sequence.
What do you do for a living?
Oh, well, for my living I help Penance with his plans and I am a second mind for him to bounce ideas off. I can’t do else while I am in his head. Sometimes he does let me steer his body around, but only for bits at a time.
Do you have any special abilities?
I personally don’t. I can use psychic powers like other psychics can, but Penance and Paradox have a special bond. Paradox has an affinity for chaos and corruption. If chaos is in the air, then he becomes more powerful. Emotions such as anger, rage, fear, also greatly empower him, and since he’s tied to Penance both of them can use corruption based attacks.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
Well, since Paradox, Penance, and I share the same body we look the same with some small differences depending on who is controlling the body at the moment. For Penance, he looks like a regular Golduck. A bit muscled, but for fifty-four he doesn’t look that bad. Whenever I take control, his left eye changes from red to a steely gray. When Paradox is in control… it’s easy to notice. His blue skin changes to a deep black, his eyes glow a deep red, and more often than not he crackles with laughter simply because it amuses him.
To which social class do you belong?
Okay! My turn now! You two have had your fun but this started out as MY questionnaire! I’m the one who will finish it! So as to social class… I hate the thought of such classes. All pokemon should be equal, not held above one another. I hate any class divisions, it’s why I hate titles as well! No titles here. Everyone tries to pin a title on me and I throw it all away.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Not really. I suppose my only disease would be to lovely delicious cake. Who DOESN’T drool at the sight of one!? As for allergies… hm… that gives me a great plan to use later! Note to self, find out the others’ allergies and exploit them.
What does your voice sound like?
Well, mostly suave. I have to get one some good sides you know and get people to trust me. Honestly, a calm voice that can speak mad phrases creeps people out more, so that’s pretty funny to boot.
What do you have in your pockets?
Pft, Obsidian has the pockets right now, or so I hear. I don’t have pockets but if I did, oh, I would have LOTS of things in them. Hehe.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Hm… I just plan. That’s really all it is. I plan day and night. I have to get every single little thing right, or else the plan crumbles. That’s how it always is. For every plan that’s made you need another plan, a secondary one, to take its place in case the first fails, then you need another if the secondary fails. All of it has to be neat and orderly and I need to know everything going in or else it all fails! Urgh, some people just DON’T understand the complexities of true planning!
For Tahvir:
1. What was your strongest subject in the ECUL?
2. Who is your favorite person in the Gold Tribe, besides your sister Cassandra, and why?
3. When the war is over, where would you want to do? Where would you go?
4. If you could say one thing to Thrace without fearing a death beam, what would you say?
5. Was there anyone at the ECUL who you were friends with? What happened to them afterwards, if so?
Now for the interview. I thought I'd fill this out for Isak from Crimson Dawn.
*ahem*
What is your full name?
Isak Mategu, also known as "the Deft".
When and where were you born?
I hatched in Amoon Village after my adoptive parents found my egg in the forest, twenty years ago or so.
Who are/were your parents?
My parents? Well, my real parents I never knew. I was abandoned as an egg, and that was when my adoptive parents found me. My adoptive parents I can tell you about, however. Let's see... mom was former Gold Tribe who settled down in Amoon, where she met my father who was born and raised in Amoon.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Hmm... Well, I suppose you could consider Mike and Lenka the closest things to family that I had growing up. Mike was a Ninjask and Lenka was a Gothita, and they were my best friends growing up. I get along well enough with others, but most Pokemon my age didn't like that I was a "Wild" Pokemon, so I got picked on a lot... so did Mike and Lenka, for different reasons. That's probably why we were so close.
I'm also close to Beryl. She's a Donphan and one of my sisters in the Gold Tribe. I doubt I'd be alive today if I hadn't found her.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
When I was growing up, about 10 at the time, I was usually harassed by bullies, chasing after me for whatever pity reasons they could think of. They would call out insults and harass me because I didn't know my real parents, or because I didn't stay to get a beating from them. I didn't like fighting back then, and I preferred to just run as fast as I could away from conflict.
One day, I found a couple of the same guys picking on a Gothita, about my size. Why, I can't remember. Probably trying to get her to help them cheat in class or something. Anyway, I tried to stop them. Got my ass handed to me. I really thought they were going to kill me, but they were stopped by an Infernape who yelled at them about leaving his daughter alone.
That was the day I met Lenka and her father Frederick. Frederick owns a general store in Amoon, and he thanked me for trying to help Lenka. He taught me how to use my ears in battle, and I'm still thankful for the lesson to this day.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
I go wherever the Gold Tribe needs me, but I hope to eventually settle down someplace. The Gold Tribe is full of people of different attitudes and abilities, all who've decided to train and fight in the name of the Emperor. We are brothers in arms, and we have to trust each other above whatever squabbles we may have.
What do you do for a living?
Like I said, I'm Gold Tribe. I go to battle to protect the country wherever I'm needed.
Do you have any special abilities?
I don't consider any of my abilities "special", but I am nimble. Running, jumping, and acrobatics are my strong suits. I have some knowledge of wild plants and their medicinal properties, among other things. I also use my ears to propel myself off the ground, or crack a few ribs with a good blow. Um... That's about it, really. Oh, and I can talk to "Wild" Pokemon. I guess that's about it?
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
I look like a Buneary. Do you know what a Buneary looks like? Probably so. Anyway, I'm about a foot tall, really lightweight, with brown and cream-colored fur and brown eyes. I don't wear much except for my climbing gloves and weather goggles, and I haven't seen enough combat yet to have a scar or anything, but I'm told my ears are pretty thick for a Buneary.
Also, my fur is a bit bristly. I've met a few other Buneary while I was at the ECUL, and their fur was much more... fluffy? Mine tends to lay flat.
My appearance isn't really as important to me as for others.
To which social class do you belong?
I'm Gold Tribe. That is apparently a social class in and of its own. Ignoring the status that the golden band confers, I wouldn't say my family was lower class growing up but we weren't exactly middle class either.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
I hate, hate, hate, hate strong odors. My nose is really sensitive, and I tend to cry when I smell something strong that burns my nostrils. My ears are also sensitive, and loud noises tend to knock me out. Other than that... well, I guess there is the fact that I really just don't have upper body strength. I mean, sure my legs are decently strong so kicking is no problem, but my paws can't punch very well. When I use Ice Punch or any other punching move, I have to be really smart about it. Then there is my weight... I get sent flying quite easy if I get hit, and really hampers the force I can put behind kicks.
It's not all bad, however. The sensitivity of my ears and nose provide a big advantage when I'm tracking something, or someone, down. My light weight also allows me to go places easily that others would have trouble getting to.
What does your voice sound like?
Well... it sounds deeper to me, but I've been told its pretty high-pitched and child-like. Definitely not something that strikes fear in anyone.
What do you have in your pockets?
I don't have pockets. I do have a bag I keep stuff in and, at the moment... I have some Bright Powder bombs, a few berries, and a keepsake my mother passed to me not too long ago. Not too sure what it is for, but it's a gift from her so I feel I should keep it with me.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Since I consider myself somewhere between a "Wild" Pokemon and an Otori tribesman, as well as Gold Tribe, I know that many things I do can come off as strange to others.
Most notably, I don't worship Arceus. It's the most common religion in the country, but it doesn't make sense to me. I respect the spirit of the land and the world, and the spirit of each Pokemon which inhabits it. In its natural state, every spirit is balanced by another spirit, and order is maintained. A few are the spirit of the land, the spirit of death, and the spirit of fertility, and each has its own name and counterpart. It's a complicated system, which is why most prefer Arceism.
In fact, I think this difference in viewpoint is what is really significant. Most people who worship Arceus imagine themselves and their fellows to be favored by their god, above the world, foreign to it, and this drives them to show little respect to "Wild" Pokemon and have little knowledge of what exists beyond the city walls. I don't want to pretend I am "enlightened" by any means, but city Pokemon struggle when out in the wild while I... don't. I am at home when I am there.
I could go on about the things that make me "weird" but I prefer to ignore the differences so please do not make me.
Petrina's Answers
Who is your ideal mate?
Uhm... is this a trick question? You already know I have a girlfriend.
If you could become friends with one person, who would it be?
Hehe... this is a better question isn't it? Well, the answer might surprise you a little: Thrace. Sure, I bet Thrace is a pretty sucky friend, but a friend like her could end this crazy little war without so many mons having to die...
What would you do if you were ever made the new Trade Prince?
I'd probably say... lose the job within the space of a week. No, twenty-four hours!
Which Gold Tribe member do you like the most and why?
That's... also one hell of a question. I mean, I guess I proabably shouldn't count my family. But beyond them... I don't want to place a value on my brothers and sisters. I learnt whilst I was leading Xeo that having a favourite just makes you unpopular. I had to go to huge lengths to make sure nobody thought I was giving Percy special treatment. Hell, most of the time, I had to run him harder than everymon else.
If Timmy’s mom has three sons, two of whom are named Jason and Elroy, what is the name of the third son?
Logic puzzle? Really? "Timmy." Let's move on.
What is your full name?
Charles Marion Vensworth.
(beat)
That's "Charlie" to ya.
When and where were you born?
Gold City, 28 years ago. Didn't stick around forever though.
Who are/were your parents?
William Vensworth, the most stuck up, hard-driving, legacy obsessed abdomen you'll never get ta meet. That's the bastard I had ta call Dad before I ran off. Mom, her name's Devida, was way nicer. I mean, she knew Dad was runnin' me ragged an' ya know? She was even nice ta me. To all 'a us, unlike dad. Kinda miss her.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Well, I've got a sister, Danielle. She's a real sob story an' I mean that fer real, see she's only a couple years older than me, but Dad was vettin' her fer the Tribe too. Good for her, she liked that, unlike me, she'd have been happy with the Tribe an' even though she was a Scyther like me then, she coulda kicked my abdomen into next week any day ya like - try next month when she up an' turned into a Scizor - an' she even helped me out with my trainin', helped me gettin' up to speed so I could get the old f*ck off my back. But, uh... it didn't end too good fer sis... Ya see, one day she got sick. I mean, like, real sick. She can't even move under her own power now...
I've been told you have a brother too?
Not sure I got a brother or not right now. Wanna keep askin'? I'll remind you I got 2-foot claws instead 'a hands...
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Heh. How about how I got ran outta Gold City? Ya see, I went through with everythin' my dear old Dad put me through. Maybe I felt I had ta with Dani outta the picture, but at the end of it all, I even managed ta lie my way past the leader 'a the Gold Tribe, Guardia, an' I ended up one of 'em. But ya see, I'd really built myself quite the lil' gang in Gold City... an' we were damn good. Even better when ya got an insider in the Gold Tribe. Hey, it was a bad situation bein' forced into bein' a goldie an' I had ta make good of it somehow.
Anyhow, I kept this whole song an' dance up fer a good year or so. Lettin' my boys know where everyone who'd be after arrestin' 'em'd be an' takin' my share. A setup like that can make a mon very rich, ya know. But it went kinda sour. Ya see, they got sloppy one time on a job at the ol' dusty jeweller an' the hag Haunter that ran the place saw what was goin' on. They got away, but they knew she was gonna say somethin', she knew 'em.
(sigh)
They shoulda just faced the music or ran. But they weren't gonna. Ya know what they were gonna do? They were gonna kill the old hag. I weren't gonna put up with that. I mean, we never had ta have the plan before, but the idea made me sick to the bottom 'a my gut. So... I ratted 'em. An' I knew they were gonna rat me back, so before my "brothers" went off ta arrest 'em, I grabbed a few things an' flew the coop. Didn't even know where I was goin'. I just ran before I had ta face the music too.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
Well, nowadays, I call the Thieves' Forest home. No I'm not tellin' ya where it is, f*ck off. I got new friends there, but I'll tell ya 'bout Snype. Ya see, that Sableye's been king 'a the Thieves since before I was even born. Guy's got a good head on his shoulders, an' he ain't too serious either. He used ta just be the guy I took orders from an' I'd call the guy a friend fer sure but uh... ya better not read this ya bastard... I think Snype's kinda like a big bro I never had. I mean, he's a real friend ta me, but the guy takes care 'a his thieves too. He's there ta stop me when I'm gonna be a dumba*s anyway... an' I think I'm gonna stop now 'fore I keep gushin' like a little girl Surskit.
What do you do for a living?
Lie, cheat 'n steal. Next?
Do you have any special abilities?
Lyin', cheatin' an' stealin'.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
Yer lookin' at me, ya dumba*s? Ugh... well, I'm a Scyther. Know what one 'a them look like? Bet ya can see my bandannas to, the one my head, the one on my neck? One on the neck's handy though, ya can pull that up over yer face.
To which social class do you belong?
Everymon else treats me like dirt, but I live like a king. Ya decide what that is yerself.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Well, ya ever tried livin' without hands? An' I got more dignity than pickin' stuff up in my mouth like a four-foot either.
What does your voice sound like?
(Steals the interview questions and looks at my notes)
You're writin' how I speak anyway! Move on!
What do you have in your pockets?
Most 'a the time, whatever was in some other guy's pockes five minutes ago.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I get called an a*shole a lot. Do I really look like an a*shole to you?
Questions for Isak:
Could you elaborate on your relationship with Beryl?
Do you think that, with enough experience, you'll be able to fight on the same level as otherwise-stronger Pokémon?
Do you get any flak for your unconventional beliefs?
How did you get your nickname?
Would you mind describing the keepsake from your mother?
It sounds like you and your Gastly get into a lot of mischief. Do you have any other Pokemon besides Gastly, and if so, any interesting stories about them?
A Sneasel and a Litwick. Sneasel gets into his own trouble, and while Litwick is good if I want to scare the hell out of random strangers, I try not to, because that's just sociopathic.
How would you describe your friendship with Sophia?
I would call her my best friend in a heartbeat. She supports me in rough times and she's cool to hang around in good times.
Forgive me for prying, but it sounds like your mother is a source of contention for you. Would you mind elaborating on your feelings towards her?
Well, I... um...
*long pause*
*sigh* ...Sorry. I can't...
You mentioned you do art commissions. What kind of art do you do? Do you stick to any particular theme for your art?
I started out drawing all dark and morbid stuff during my angsty phase, and nowadays that's all people request from me...
You also mentioned going to college. What do you plan on studying?
I've been accepted into Snowpoint University, but I'm going in undeclared. I'm sort of leaning toward some sort of cognitive science, but I'll have to look into what they have...
That was one hell of a league you were in. What was your plan for survival?
It took me a while to realize that death was actually a real threat. My 'plan' as it were basically consisted of staying in line, because that was the best way to not get hurt.
Honestly, how scared were you? I mean, you saw that Elias kid make an example of himself, did that shake you?
I wasn't too scared at first - once again, I didn't know there was real danger involved - but the first death I saw was definitely an 'oh sh*t' moment for me.
How hard was it to decide you'd join up to such a deadly league?
The 'not realizing it was deadly' thing applies here too, and it was just sort of something to do while I was on break (and the weather in Hoenn is so much better than the weather in Sinnoh). Hell, when I entered the lottery for it, I was pretty certain I wouldn't get picked anyway.
How did your friends react when you told them you wre joining the League?
I hadn't heard of it before, but apparently they had, because they were pretty horrified and were hoping that I wouldn't be picked.
Honestly, rate yourself as a trainer. Like, the best thing ever, or lucky to even handle a pokéball without breaking it?
Hm... I'd say I'm better than average with all the experience I've gotten recently, but there are plenty of people who are so much better.
What is the capital of Assyria?
Google tells me it's Assur... was that supposed to be a joke? .-.
Questions for Penance! And, uh, also Paradox and Brynn, I guess.
1. (Penance) Of all the people in Valkaria (or possibly the rest of the known world) who do you find the most agreeable? Excluding anyone involved in Seekership or family, those are easy :P
2. (Penance) WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT YOUR MOTHER? Rather, what were you going to say? Paradox cut you off, there, the big ol' meanie that he is.
3. (All three, cuz it's question 3, that worked out well.) How do you feel about the others in Penance's mind? Do you like them, hate them? Are you sometimes scared by or comforted by them?
4. (Brynn) If you managed to be brought back to life in your own body, (or a new one, or whatever) what would you do afterwards?
5. (Paradox) Do you like cake too? (I should bloody well hope so.)
Extra questions for Raz.
From 90FC3C:
What inspired you to be so evil?
What inspired me? HA! Justification isn't something that evil cares about, if that's what you're getting at. Otherwise, erm... hmph. You know, I'm not sure anything really 'clicked' particularly - I just happened to be incredibly evil. And also powerful. And also very good at checkers.
What is the most evil thing you have done?
The most? The single most evil thing I've done? How many evil acts do you think I've committed, three? I can't just pick from such a massive list! Evilness me-! That's, erm, 'goodness me', but the equivalent in evil terms which therefore makes it better... not sure how clear that was. Moving on! Erm... well, there was that time I killed a group of bandits with their leader's still-beating heart, there was the time I, erm... how do you put it? Stole delicious confectionery from an infant? I think that was it. Heard it somewhere before, anyhow. Regardless, the list is nigh-endless, so you'll have to do with those. I know this is an interview, but I'm not going to spend a bloody day recounting to you my life's story.
What is the most evil thing you plan to do?
Hmm, that's a nice one. Evil one, rather. Let's see... ah, probably - and forgive me for being cliché - World Domination. Yes, I know every villain in the bloody universe has that as an objective, but believe me: there's a reason for that. It really is quite enticing. All I do is ramp up enough power to rival the gods, then rule with an iron fist and kill all the pricks! World Domination! It's quite the thing.
Musical instruments, you said? Can you play any of them?
Erm, not really. Only every single one, faultlessly and simultaneously. I use them for practising the psychic arts, and my mental prowess has allowed me to become a psychic terror on the battlefield - or on stage, if need be. If I weren't a nomad and/or a villain, I'd probably be a world-renowned musician. Although, I suppose, it was my villainous ambition in psychic power that led me to master them, so perhaps not. Either way, one benefits the other. So yes - I can be a one-'mon-band, and no, that doesn't involve strapping anything to my bloody feet.
Do you think your magic would be more powerful were you to evolve?
Oh, most certainly. With evolution generally comes power - as a Gardevoir, I'd be even more absurdly powerful. With any luck, I'll somehow manage it.
And from SV:
1. You're trapped in an island, and you HAVE to bring two other characters from your roleplay. Which two would you bring. You have to pick two, no exceptions. In other words, which two characters can you tolerate the most?
What in the name of Zekrom is a roleplay? SV, I declare you a noob, through-and-through. Regardless, assuming that you were just referring to people in my general vicinity - and also that I can't simply teleport or otherwise easily find my way off the island, which would undoubtedly be the case for a being of my power - I would probably have to take Snype. The King of Thieves has managed to work his way into my minionship - lucky him. Besides, I have to have someone to bring me ice-cream. I assume this is a tropical island...?
Erm, other than Snype... egh. I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps, erm... the big, green, goldie bastard. Callimer. He's not entirely insufferable, and he did earn a smidgen of respect from me by clouting Penance in the jaw.
2. Any big plans after the whole Darkrai fiasco blows over?
Continue to gain power and take over the world, of course! I'll probably have to come to some sort of agreement - or destructive compromise - with the Gold Tribe, the Thieves, and essentially all the other lot. Evil as I am, peace would probably be the better option - I'm powerful as all sh*t, but the others are hardly slackers themselves. I wouldn't fancy my chances alone against all of the bastards. Alternatively, I suppose I could make a villainous escape...
3. What's your favorite pastime? Besides the obvious answer of being evil.
My favourite pastime? Being evil, of cour- wha-? Besides that? Curses! Erm... hmm... most likely some kind of tie. Evil is of course the most dominating factor of my life - I barely have time to think about the other things, I'm kept so busy with all of my evil. Erm... well, there's my tremendous musical talent, my study of ancient, forbidden texts, and- OH! Yes, that's it. My favourite pastime - besides evil - is eating chocolate ice cream. Or chocolate cake. Or something chocolate and yummy in similar regard.
4. What do you think of the other factions?
The other factions? Egh, I care little for them. The Gold Tribe as a whole are goody-goody self-righteous pricks, the Thieves as a whole are spineless miscreants. The SEC, though, actually... well, it's interesting to say the least. I've always been driven more to magic than to technology, but that certainly isn't to say I've no interest in it. Quite the contrary, as a matter of fact. That said, as a faction, I don't particularly have any opinion on them. They're there, they do things. Haven't supported me, haven't got in my way. Let them be, I suppose.
5. How do you feel about working together in a small group like you are now? Any particular difference than working by yourself? What do you prefer?
A massive difference, certainly. I'll say for the moment that I prefer working alone, though that is quite probably influenced by the discomfort that comes with inexperience - there are benefits and drawbacks to both kinds of work. Working in a group requires larger attention to tactical thinking - targeting specific enemies, and taking... eugh, care of your allies. Raw destruction is really quite fun, though unfortunately not so appropriate in a group. Working alone is far simpler, and in many cases, vastly more effective. Working in a group gives more minds and bodies to work on more things simultaneously, as well as more targets to the enemy to be wary of. I do remember the last time the enemy ignored me - my, my, the sky rained hellfire, that day. It was me, by the way. My hellfire.
One particular annoyance of working in a group is the concept of, erm... my behaviour. Apparently, evil isn't all that liked by the masses. Who knew? Hehe - nevertheless, it's something of an ordeal to have to suppress what comes naturally, especially when such things often apply perfectly logical reasoning. While 'good' isn't something I'll ever get my head around, 'evil but probably not an immediate catastrophic danger' is something that seems to be coming to me. Regardless, it really is almost more trouble than it's worth. Were the fate of the world not at stake - the world I plan to rule, I remind you - I'd really rather not bother with it.
For Charlie:
1. That is an interesting accent you have. Is it common for Pokemon of Gold City to have an accent like that?
2. What made you turn to a life of thieving?
3. If you weren't thieving, what would you want to do for a living?
4. Is there anything else you are good at besides lying, cheating and stealing? What allows you to be good at stealing? It can't be very easy digging in peoples pockets with bladed hands.
5. Where do you get your bandannas? Do you have a particularly favorite bandanna?
Isak's answers:
Could you elaborate on your relationship with Beryl?
I suppose so. About three weeks ago, the Gold Tribe was sent up to Deathbringer's Mark to do battle in the second Windseer Rebellion. To put it nicely, we lost. The few who survived apparently left the battle scarred but I almost didn't make it out alive. See, I got knocked out pretty badly. I think I was mistaken for just another casualty so I wasn't attacked afterwards, but I woke up to a field of... um, bodies.
I don't remember much after that. I probably wandered for a while, sick to my stomach. What I do remember, though, is stumbling across a sister Donphan who was clinging to life. That was Beryl. She looked pretty bad, and I honestly thought she was going to die, but I had to at least try to save her. So I scrounged around, looking for anything I could find that would help her. I had to look through a number of... bodies, but I found enough supplies to stabilize her. She was still injured, but we managed to get away from the field of... bodies, to place where I could treat her better without retching. When she was well enough, we decided that the best course of action was to travel back to Union City and regroup with the Gold Tribe.
We're very close, as a result. She's a wise, old, Donphan.
Do you think that, with enough experience, you'll be able to fight on the same level as otherwise-stronger Pokémon?
Maybe, but I doubt it. My main problem is a lack of bulk, but that is also one of my assets.
I am actually not a bad fighter, per se, but I usually have to get the drop on an enemy first. That's why I like Bright Powder bombs.
Do you get any flak for your unconventional beliefs?
Sometimes, yes. Around the Gold Tribe, not so much. We were trained better than to let petty differences like religion get ahead of us. There are also a number of Pokemon in the Gold Tribe that don't necessarily worship Arceus, so I am in good company, and those that do worship Arceus tend to keep to themselves and not shove it in my face.
Still... outside of the Gold Tribe, I feel threatened to reveal my beliefs. I've had a few run-ins with really obnoxious Pokemon who confronted me, and told me to repent to Arceus... among other things... Sure, I tell my friends, but I've learned to be quiet about my beliefs in public.
How did you get your nickname?
It's... not a nickname. It's my title. My official designation in the Gold Tribe.
Like I said, I'm pretty nimble. When graduation came around, some of my instructors suggested choosing a title that reflected my abilities, so I chose "the Deft". I try to live up to it.
Would you mind describing the keepsake from your mother?
Uh, okay. *scrounges around in bag and pulls it out*
It's a brown and white gemstone about the size of one of my paws. It was my mothers' from before she retired from Gold Tribe. I think it's pretty, but that's about it.
*puts it back into his bag*
Questions for Isak! (KajiVenator)
1. Do you usually talk much?
2. Do you consider yourself wise?
3. What is your favorite season?
4. Do you prefer being around others or spend time alone?
5. Is there anyone you are afraid of?
It sure is difficult to come up with good questions :x
------------
I'm going with my character from Crossroads; A Johto Story. He was originally designed as, let's face it, an Ash Ketchum clone for another journey RP. But I tweaked him a bit and he's grown into a distinct enough person through the span of Crossroads, even though he's not exactly my most fascinating work so far.
What is your full name?
Aberdeen Montany. I don't think I ever got a middle name. Kinda redundant anyways, don't you think? You never really use it except when you're filling out forms and so far I haven't really had to fill out many forms in my life.
When and where were you born?
Fourteen years ago... No, hang on. Fifteen years ago actually! Wow, it's my birthday. I was so caught up in all this journey business and our kidnapped pokémon and all that I didn't even think of checking my messages at the pokémon center. Mum and dad have probably bombarded my voicemail by now. Oops. Oh, and I was born in Cherrygrove City, Johto. Been living there my whole life.
Who are/were your parents?
They are nice people. You know, not super special but the general kind kind. They haven't had it easy, you know. I mean, they have great jobs and all. Dad's a florist and mum works as a nurse at the pokémon center. So I've seen a lot of pokémon growing up, so that's been cool.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Uh. Well, I'd call Chocolate my family by now! My Quilladin, that is. And all my other pokémon too, of course. They aren't really just creatures. More like friends. Only, we have to stick together at all times and depend on each other and... that's what family members should do, isn't it?
Oh, and I had a sister once. But now I don't.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Will recent past work? There was this time in the Ruins of Alph when me and my pal Melody and this rather horrible guy called Vincent took a guided tour through a big ruin. Then suddenly lighting struck - I mean, it wasn't really that sudden because we all knew that bad weather was coming outside, but it was still pretty shocking. And people ran in all directions so the three of us decided to go and look for whoever might be lost inside the dark ruins. But instead, Melody got kidnapped by this... Well, this sort of gang or Smeargles! They had a king, even. Or it might have been a queen, I didn't stop to ask. Anyways, me and Vincent fought to free Melody but actually I think she saved herself with the help of her Chikorita in the end. Oh, but of course Winter helped too.
... I miss Winter.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
Uh... Usually in pokémon centers or in my trusty ultrafoldable tent! Sometimes together with Christina. I mean, I don't mean anything by that. It just sorta happened. Several times. :)
What do you do for a living?
I travel and catch pokémon! Oh, you mean how I get money? We get some from professor Pine. She's gotta make sure that her trainers can carry out her study, after all. But also I've won some in battles and gotten some rewards for various little tasks here and there along the road. I get by. If things would get really bad, I could always just go home to Cherrygrove. Not that I'm gonna give up easily, though.
Do you have any special abilities?
Um, I guess I'm pretty cheerful? And not a too bad battler, or so Donald has told me. He just thinks I'm a bit too unorganized for my own good, but he's also said that I'm creative and can think up great, weird strategies on the spot. I suppose that weird battle against Falkner and the Psyducks in Union Cave could be examples of that... Haven't really thought of it like that before.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
There's really not much to tell. I can send you a pic, if you like! But I guess I'm pretty short. For being a guy of fourteen... I mean fifteen! And not the strongest guy in the world either. Hm. I don't wear tattoos or earrings or anything like that and, um, I've got brown hair and blue eyes and... Eh. Why don't you ask someone else to describe me instead?
To which social class do you belong?
What's a social class?
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Not that I know of! Just... Don't bring ghosts here, please. Hero is okay. She doesn't look very ghosty, unless you start thinking about it. As for the Unown... I think I'll be keeping it inside its pokéball for a while longer. I dunno, I just... I'm still not really sure of what I saw back there.
What does your voice sound like?
Like any boy's, I guess? Oh right, all voices are unique and stuff. Yeah. Mine's a bit, um, bright so to say. I guess that part of me hasn't finished hitting puberty yet! Uh. What were we talking about again?
What do you have in your pockets?
I don't know! Let's see... My pokédex, Psyduck's pokéball (why did I put it there?), some paper from a sandwich cover, and what's this? Some tiny rocks. I guess they must have swam into my pockets when I jumped into the river at Union Cave. Looking back, I could probably have fetched those floating pokéballs in a better way. Hm.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I guess I... I am... Uh... No, really I don't know what there would be to admit. If I would be someone else, meeting me, I would probably think I was a pretty fun dude. Rash, maybe? Am I rash? Tina, what do you think?
Yes, it is.
1. That is an interesting accent you have. Is it common for Pokemon of Gold City to have an accent like that?
No. It ain't. But ya go ta the... seedier parts 'a the city, the ones the goldies wanna pretend don't exist and yer gonna hear it more an' more...
2. What made you turn to a life of thieving?
I started stealin' 'cause I knew I was doin' somethin' dear ol' dad wouldn't be likin'. I stayed that way 'cause it turns out I'm damn good at it an' I could end up ta my neck in gold fer a couple hours' work.
3. If you weren't thieving, what would you want to do for a living?
What'd I want ta do? Dumb question. If I hadn't 'a started theivin' I'd still be livin' spineless as a Tentacruel followin' dad's orders. So I'd probably 'a been with the Tribe still.
4. Is there anything else you are good at besides lying, cheating and stealing? What allows you to be good at stealing? It can't be very easy digging in peoples pockets with bladed hands.
That's why I don't go in nobody's pockets. Hell, most mons don't got pockets, hang their purse round 'em by a string, almost makin' it too easy. There's more than one way ta separate an idiot from his gold, ya know, say ya give 'em a real convincin' story or shill somethin' that ain't what ya say it is or just bust into a place at night while there ain't a soul in it an' take whatever ain't nailed down. Whatever works.
5. Where do you get your bandannas? Do you have a particularly favorite bandanna?
I know this might sound crazy... I bought 'em. An' ya can't discriminate with yer bandannas. They're all the best, 'cause yer gonna lose 'em time to time when some idiot tries ta use it ta grab ya an' they find out how loose ya tie 'em... It falls off, ya get away clean.
For The Penance Trio
1) Are you three ever not bickering? "When each other shut up" is not an answer.
2) So, I'm told you won't lie. Why?
3) Brynn, how hard is it adapting to the body of a water bird when you used to be a Gardevoir; do you consider it a significant downgrade?
4) So, you seem to use the word "Guardia" synonymously with "b*tch". Is this common? Regardless, what is your view of the factions that surround you?
5) Describe your ideal cake.
6) Do you expect the Spanish Inquisition?
Greiger November 26th, 2014 3:58 PM
Time ta answer le questions!
1. (Penance) Of all the people in Valkaria (or possibly the rest of the known world) who do you find the most agreeable? Excluding anyone involved in Seekership or family, those are easy.
Hm, I would say Alex. You know, that Gardevoir who's the absolute master with magic tricks? Honestly you should go and pay him a thousand bucks to perform for you, the kid will knock your socks off! I am his uncle after all, so the kid looks up to me and has been for quite a while. Hanso is so... he's a... well, the most I can compare him to is like a wall with some switches. You have to know which ones to turn on to get any reactions out of him. I just loooooove flicking his switches, let me tell you that! Still, Alex is a good kid and knows how to have some splendid fun! He's not a switch flicker, but he does wear the cape as good as his dad!
2. (Penance) WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT YOUR MOTHER? Rather, what were you going to say? Paradox cut you off, there, the big ol' meanie that he is.
Heh, what can I say? Chaos only begets chaos. Better to have things thrown at you then relying on some sacred order of rules. Personally, as long as you don't harm anyone by breaking rules I say just do what you want. But on... my mom.
... She was the best person in my life honestly. Through thick and thin she was there. My dad, heh, forget about him. My mom is who should be talked about. She was something else. I always got these headaches as a little kid. She just... she knew this spot to rub. It was nice, and it helped me a lot. Calmed me down tons you could say. She always told me that I had to follow my heart, that no matter what I went up against, I just had to follow it and I would be led right. And I WAS led right! I knew in the way beginning the goldies were keeping secrets from the people, and they were. My heart is always right in the end, so no one better be a Guardia about it.
3. (All three, cuz it's question 3, that worked out well.) How do you feel about the others in Penance's mind? Do you like them, hate them? Are you sometimes scared by or comforted by them?
I would say... I like them. Paradox is me, albeit not watered down. I'm the fine wine, I'm the deus as to why you travel to that fancy restaurant. I'm worth a thousand bucks. Paradox is the raw ingredients. Brynn, well, she's my Seeker. Of course I like her. I would have done the same for any other Seeker anyways.
Heh, Brynn rubs me the wrong way. She's too goody two shoes. She's afraid in the end. Afraid to take action, always wanting to talk things out and plan. I say screw that. Go ahead and plan yeah, but do it on the go. Chaos is everywhere and I don't need sweet little angels who could never do one wrong thing going and messing up my fun.
I think that answer just explained why I can't like Paradox. Penance isn't like Paradox. Paradox is pure negative emotions manifested with a gift of life. He's so... set on a certain path. I doubt he can change or even get close to trying to change his ways. If anything could seal him up once more, for good mind you, I would enjoy that.
4. (Brynn) If you managed to be brought back to life in your own body, (or a new one, or whatever) what would you do afterwards?
My body has long since been buried in the Sharpeye burial plot. There's no getting back into that. I... I don't know what I would do if I took another body. I would most likely feel intense guilt simply from stealing someone else's life. Either I would end up controlling a body with another mind that still lives in it and forever hearing them scream at me that they wanted me gone... or I would live in a body where the conscious mind had been killed off. Either way, I steal a body and cause harm to that mon's family. For what I would do... most likely continue my Seeker duties. Penance is my mentor and I would wish to continue such a relationship.
5. (Paradox) Do you like cake too? (I should bloody well hope so.)
I only like certain kinds of cake. It can't be made of planned ingredients. If it's made with chaos I like it even more.
1) Are you three ever not bickering? "When each other shut up" is not an answer.
Well, I don't bicker with Brynn, but the best planning I ever have is with Paradox cause he does question me on things.
He tries you to do the most chaotic things! That's not progress!
It is. I'm simply helping him accept the truth of the world. You wouldn't understand. Chaos is everywhere, once you accept that and grow with chaos then you'll have a far easier time surviving. My father isn't being orderly at the moment, and order will get you killed far quicker.
2) So, I'm told you won't lie. Why?
My father. That's all you need to know.
3) Brynn, how hard is it adapting to the body of a water bird when you used to be a Gardevoir; do you consider it a significant downgrade?
Well, not so much as a downgrade. Let me explain. It would be a major downgrade if say... I entered a mon not capable of psychic powers. At least with Penance I can still perform psychic abilities. Telepathy, psychic powers, all of my abilities passed over. They are not as strong on their own mind you, but I can infuse my power with Penance's and we are able to achieve a dual form of power. It comes with other benefits, such as having two others watching over my well being. Paradox doesn't like me, but if this body gets harmed then we all die, so we have to watch each other regardless of how we feel about each other. Another thing I do like is the ability to breathe underwater. Before, if I ever did swim deep into any bodies of water, I would have to use my psychic powers to create air bubbles for me to breathe from. Even then, it was for a limited amount of time, but being a Golduck means I don't have to worry about drowning anymore. And... well... I'm male now. So that was something else to get used to, but I've adapted very well.
4) So, you seem to use the word "Guardia" synonymously with "b*tch". Is this common? Regardless, what is your view of the factions that surround you?
I just started it to be honest. I like it! And hm... goldies are gold, though I think they should be gray instead. The SEC is rocking the tree, and my Seekers are platinum. Thieves have no place on my board. Oh wait! They do! It's called 'Snype owes me after I saved him from Auron's wrath and he totally has a life debt for me since I persuaded him to stop being a Sentinel.'
5) Describe your ideal cake.
I would say... *The interview tape mysteriously statics for a bit* ... And that's my ideal cake. Yeah, pretty awesome ain't it? Hehe.
6) Do you expect the Spanish Inquisition?
Of course, every day of my life. I have twenty plans for them.
Twenty plans... yeah. Trust me, he has them
Wait, didn't we kill those guys two years ago?
Shush Paradox!
3) Have you ever felt guilty for being a thief before? If so, what caused it?
4) What would you do if you were king of the thieves for a day and could do ABSOLUTELY anything during that time without consequences in the future?
5) What is your favorite snack food?
Fort PokePower November 26th, 2014 5:17 PM
For Tiny Raz:
1. What are some things that just reeeaaally get on your nerves?
2. What is your most prized possession, and why?
3. Have you ever had anyone you were particularly close to?
4. Once you've fulfilled you goal of dominating the world (if you ever do), what do you plan to do?
5. What is your idea of an ideal ruler?
I'ma use Kaveri the Floatzel from Pokemon Odyssey.
What is your full name?
Yo, the name's Kaveri Vian, perhaps equally or better known by Jetstream, my Gold Tribe title. In my younger years, many of my friends would call me Caviar as well.
When and where were you born?
I was born 38 years ago in the wondrous Gold City! What, you think I should act more mature, given my age? Pfft, nah, where would be the fun in that? Besides, someone's gotta be around to ease the tension!
Who are/were your parents?
My dad was a Floatzel and a soldier in the Alpha Alliance Army. He... was killed when the Silver Tribe first invaded. My mom was a Dragonair - I theorize that she's the reason I've got blue fur - passed on a few years later. If she'd just held on a little longer, she could've seen the end of the war... Also, while she may not be related to me by blood, I consider Wildfire a mother of sorts. She was an Infernape of the Gold Tribe and played a role in defeating the Silver Tribe. Unfortunately the battle left her permanently disabled... She could still get around just fine and stuff, but she no longer had the energy to perform any battle moves. Unfortunately, she passed on 20 years ago.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Oh, yeah! There's my little bro, Callimer. He's a Dragonite, and quite the fatso in my opinion, heh. He used to be quite the little wimp, but he's grown into quite the powerful 'mon now, thanks to a certain someone, heheh. I also consider all of my brethren in the Gold Tribe to be my family, though none will ever be as close to me as Cal is.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Ooooh, ohoh, yes! Waaaaaay back when Cal was still just a Dragonair, we were off on a mission to check out some false rumors about some Ancients. Course, we were suspicious, but we didn't expect in the least to be ambushed by a bunch of bandits. Sad to say, they were able to take out both me and the other Triber who'd come with us. Cal, though, he was awesome! He evolved right then and there and took down the whole lot of 'em! ...Well, ok, maybe not all of them. I helped out once I came back to my sense. But still, I gotta say I've never been prouder of the lil' guy!
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
I live with my little bro, Callimer, in Wildfire's old house in Gold City. Though perhaps calling Cal my little brother isn't all that accurate, since he's a good two or three feet taller than me, heh - the woes of having a Dragonite as a brother. He's not as big of a joker as I am, but he at least puts up with me, and that's saying something, heheh. Though, I do sometimes wish he'd talk to me more about what's on his mind. I'm still his big sis after all, and I wanna look out for him, yeh know?
What do you do for a living?
Kick a** with my bro. We're both in the Gold Tribe, so we end up working together a lot.
Do you have any special abilities?
Oh, sure. For one, I am capable of eating an entire room of candy. Pretty sweet, eh, eh, eeeeeh?
Serious? ok, ok, fine. I learned some stuff from Wildfire, like how to form a Water Pulse between my tails and using Ice Fang to partially freeze a Water Pulse and make my own Ice Ball. I guess you could that pretty special; I do.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
Lessee... I'm 'bout 3'9", coming in at around 76 lbs. Ah, and I'm a Floatzel, if yeh didn't catch on to that already. Not any normal looking Floatzel though, oh no. My fur's a sorta sky blue and silver instead of the usual orange and beige, and my float's a nice bright red. Then those fancy fins on my arms are yellow, and my eyes are violet. As for clothes, well, I don't usually wear anything, 'cept for when I've absolutely gotta.
To which social class do you belong?
Slightly above average. That's a thing, right?
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
I'm allergic to boredom.
What does your voice sound like?
Light and friendly most've the time. Not too high, but not deep either - though I've been told when I'm really excited my voice tends to reach unbearable pitches, heh.
What do you have in your pockets?
Pockets? Who needs pockets when you've got a handy float to stash everything under! I keep a few small things under there - a bit of money, my Gold Tribe emblem when I don't have it on display, and a small vial holding the last of Wildfire's Life Flames.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Oh, definitely! My entire personality is defined by quirky annoyingness, heheheh! Perhaps the worst being how nuts I got when I have candy - and how much of the stuff I eat. What can I say? It's my one true weakness, heheheh.
Khawill November 26th, 2014 6:44 PM
To Kaveri
What are your biggest fears?
Would you describe yourself as courageous? Why?
What is the most important thing for one to do in life?
Is the day better when it begins or when it ends?
What is the worst thing you've ever done?
What is your full name?
Embarrassingly enough, I seem to have forgotten my birth name. My favorite Alias to go by would have to be Harrison, though I can also go by James, Khalil, or even Deus. The last one is my most subtle name.
When and where were you born?
Well I was born on earth, in New York City, June 6th, 1996.
Who are/were your parents?
My parents were pretty human, they were middle class people, so I had an easy childhood. Unfortunately, in your reality, they are now dead, mostly my fault.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
No not really.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
I’ve created, started, and changed a lot of stories. I suppose I could give a personal story though. The day I killed both of my parents. Chapter one, I murdered both of my parents. Epilogue, I am now an omnipotent reality warper. Theres stuff in between, but I don’t much care for my personal life anymore, and I can not imagine you do either.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
Er, uh. I technically live with everybody. I’m pretty much aware of everything that goes on everywhere, in any story, and any universe. Even the ones you write I am a part of. As for a description, you are all incredibly fun to watch! That is why I haven’t destroyed everything and recreated it.
What do you do for a living?
Oh you know, a bit of reality warping here, a tad of observing, and a hint of interfering. I create things too, though I usually just set the rules and the setting and let the humans run the game. No, I didn’t create your universe, I technically am a part of it myself (I was born there after all). Actually, can you even say that I'm alive? I mean, everything that lives must die, and I can't do that (I've tried).
Do you have any special abilities?
Well I can cook well, and uh, do other things.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
I was born an African and White American Male with black hair and brown eyes. I grew to be about 5”10 in my late teenage years. I got bored of that though, especially since it limited the time frames I could easily visit. I’ve been a male of all races, and a female of most races, though I am certainly more comfortable with my birth form. Technically I could be anyone, though my eye color never changes from the purple color it turned into after I activated my powers
To which social class do you belong?
All of them? (I was born upper middle)
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Shonen Characters? Haha, kidding. I have allowed myself to be defeated or killed, though being dead is awfully boring, so I always come back. To be honest, I have no weakness, though I’ve never been the hero, so who cares.
What does your voice sound like?
Morgan Freedman. By default. My natural voice is not nearly as beautiful.
What do you have in your pockets?
More pockets. And uh, forty two cents.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I admit it, I pick my nose. Oh, I also gave up my humanity. Er, I sometimes interfere in people’s lives, for fun. Since I can’t see the consequences of my own actions, it is the main source of how I see new things.
Questions for Adenvture's character, Aberdeen Montany:
1. You mentioned a Quilladin and a Psyduck. What other pokemon do you have? Can you briefly describe how they became part of your team?
2. Sounds like you have a lot of friends. Do you travel with them often, or do you just bump into them frequently?
5. Does Chocolate like the nickname that they've been given?
As for the questions asked of Tavhir:
_________________________________________
1. What was your strongest subject in the ECUL?
Well, I would say the combat training, but I don't really think that counts, huh?
Academics were never really my forte. Even with the tutors and instructors my parents hired for me, I had a hard time paying attention. I guess my strongest subjects would have been Stygian history. I guess my racial ties and the related culture really interested me. Though having grown up away from it all, I can't say I feel as strongly as born-and-raised Stygians do about home, as much as I would like to...
2. Who is your favorite person in the Gold Tribe, besides your sister Cassandra, and why?
There are a lot of oddballs in our little group. I guess if I were forced to pick, I'd have to say Thrasher. He can be a little pessimistic at time, which I can relate to in a time like this, but he's a pretty smart guy, you know? He's got a good head on his shoulders, and he's not too shabby in combat either. Heh, he said I could probably join him someday away from the Gold Tribe when this whole mess is over. I don't know if I'm good enough for that, but maybe, when all is said and done... who knows?
3. When the war is over, where would you want to do? Where would you go?
That all depends on what exactly happens after the war. I suppose I'm stuck in the Gold Tribe for the rest of my days, which I guess was the intention all along. Though if things manage to calm down, I might take a vacation in Amoon. Pretty nice village, you know, when it's not under siege by thousands of bloodthirsty rebels.
4. If you could say one thing to Thrace without fearing a death beam, what would you say?
Something witty, like "You're cranky, someone needs another nap!"
That... that was pretty bad, wasn't it? I'd probably just tell her to go to hell. That seems to be a good insult to fall back on.
5. Was there anyone at the ECUL who you were friends with? What happened to them afterwards, if so?
I wasn't the friendliest person around at the ECUL. I was stationed with this one kid though. A Larvitar; Lester was his name, though he preferred to be called 'Les.' I was good at the combat classes, but Les was a real brainiac. We often met up after classes and exchanged notes. He helped me pass a lot of the academic portions, and I helped him out with his combat training. Probably the closest thing to a real 'friend' I had back then.
Of course, just my luck, when Les graduated, we ended up separated and stationed on different assignments. I went to Alamanga straight-away, and he went off to Arceus-knows-where. It'd be nice to know what he's up to now, or if he's even still alive.
Oh goodie, I was hoping a thread like this would appear soon! I'd really like to expand on some of the characters I use. Currently, I'm RPing with a character I've been using since I joined up with PC again, earlier this year. So, without further ado, here's Mauve Banzett from the Pokemon RP, Begin Again!
What is your full name?
My name is Mauve. Mauve Banzett.
When and where were you born?
I was born on October 7th, 1993. My birthplace and hometown is Ecruteak City, of the Johto region.
Who are/were your parents?
Well, my immediate family is but my mother. She was a well known Pokemon Coordinator, but decided to come to the Johto region to teach the art of Pokemon dancing. Whether to help Coordinators express themselves with their Pokemon, or just for any trainer and Pokemon trying to become closer.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Actually, yes! My uncle, Sullivan, lives in Pastoria City of the Sinnoh region, hometown of both him and my mother. He helps take care of the Great Marsh.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
As a matter of fact, I do have one about my uncle. When I turned the age of about... six or seven, my uncle came all the way to visit me, and show me the Pokemon he'd be around every day. I remember a Yanma, a Marill... oh, and a Croagunk, too!
Every single one of them was a joy... especially one of my uncle's favorite Pokemon. It was a jolly old Carnivine, that tended to nibble on his head. Of course, when I approached Carnivine with a big grin on my face, that big green galoot really took a bite out of me! Ahh... memories.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
Technically, I don't LIVE with anyone, as I'm a travelling trainer and all. But beforehand, I lived under my mother's roof in Ecruteak City. Which, of course, was also above her Pokemon dance studio. She was a very strict teacher, when it came to my homeschooling. But, she always cared for me as best as she could, as my father was... well, out of the picture.
She wanted to teach me everything she knew about Pokemon, from watching her previous Contest battles, to the countless texts she gave me, to even letting me play with her Pokemon! Especially her Vileplume partner, Vivan. We became so close, so quickly!
What do you do for a living?
I'm currently going after Pokemon gyms in the Kanto region. You know, that old jazz. However... I want to become one of the greatest trainers out there!
Do you have any special abilities?
Well, not that I can think of... except for my quick learning skills. If you show me a Pokemon, I can tell you almost everything about it. Emphasis on "almost." I'm still not quite up to par, sadly. Also, I seem to be able to "understand" Pokemon. Not essentially speak with them, but understand how they feel. I suppose that's how I become so close to some Pokemon so quickly.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, those kind of things.
Well, I have long, black hair... I'm about 5'9", weigh a pretty average size for a guy in fit condition... Oh, and my eyes are dark green. My outfit is pretty semi-casual.
For example, I'm wearing black shoes, grey jeans, a purple button-up shirt and a black tee underneath. I always enjoy wearing a button-up shirt of some sort. Lastly, I usually wear circular, black glasses.
To which social class do you belong?
Well, I'd suppose upper middle class. After all, my mother WAS a well known Pokemon Coordinator, and was quite an accomplished trainer. Not a Champion, but quite a force to be reckoned with. And, she runs a successful Pokemon dance studio. My mother was able to raise me in such a lovely home with all of her success....
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Hmm... no, none that I know of. I mean, I'm pretty healthy for someone my age. I usually try to do some exercise every now and then. Of course, travelling by foot is a good way!
What does your voice sound like?
Uh, umm... Well, it's a bit deep, and smooth. Sometimes, people tell me I'm a good singer, hahaha.
What do you have in your pockets?
Well, let's see... a small notebook about my current Pokemon and their moves, nutritional needs, and other various information. In my other pocket... well, that would be my wallet.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining
characteristics?
Actually... yes. I have a great fear of Fire-type Pokemon, due to an incident when I was but a youngster. So, I tense up quite badly around any and all fiery Pokemon. That goes along with large, large fires. Like a wildfire, or something similar. If it was a candle, or a fireplace, that would be fine. It's just... fires of great size terrify me to the point of being scared stiff! Also, I'm not really good with being around others. Not that I'm particularly quiet, I just feel uncomfortable most of the time. After all, I was home schooled for most of my life.
Lastly, I seem to have a love for carnivorous Grass-type Pokemon. And sometimes, they attack me out of love! As I mentioned before, my uncle's Carnivine never bit anyone but him before it met me. I did love that Carnivine, though. I just hope my Weepinbell, Raze, doesn't do that when he evolves into a Victreebel... he likes to take a nip at my noggin every now and then, but it's not that bad.
@ MurkMire, remember that you gotta ask someone else's character 5 questions in order for other to ask you!
2. How did you get your warping powers?
3. Do you consider yourself better than mankind?
4. What happens when you die?
5. What is your goal in life?
Answers to The Roach's questions for Aberdeen~
1. You mentioned a Quilladin and a Psyduck. What other pokemon do you have? Can you briefly describe how they became part of your team?
I can! Chocolate was given to me by professor Pine in Cherrygrove, as a Chespin. She wanted some people to raise a few pokémon of hers and I signed up, pretty much. Apparently he's a shiny pokémon, maybe that's got something to do with Pine's study because I've met other trainers on this mission who also had shiny pokémon. Anyways! Early on, we captured a Pidgey (her name is now Pangea) and a Whismur (that's Winter!). I didn't really mean to bring Winter along but when we kind of took away his family from him on some mission from a farmer or something... I couldn't just leave the little creature on his own there. But, yeah. Winter is not with me anymore. I mean, not right now! We'll find him though. I've promised that.
I also found a Honedge (Hero, she doesn't really like me I think) in the Ruins of Alph and a Flaaffy (Terribolt) on Route 32. Hero helped saving Melody in the Smeargle fight, and Terribolt was apparently local rivals with a Haunter - whom Christina actually caught! Uh... Then I caught two Psyduck in Union Cave in order to save Donald and some other boy. I couldn't carry too many pokémon on hand, so one got sent into the digital world, hehe. But the Psyduck I've kept on hand is pretty cool. Maybe I should give him a name, too.
Oh. I almost forgot Unown U. That's why I couldn't keep both Psyduck on me. Christina gave me U because she had another Unown and we weren't really sure... That they were real pokémon, I guess? I've seen U do some weird stuff... So I put it in the PC finally, when we reached Azalea.
2. Sounds like you have a lot of friends. Do you travel with them often, or do you just bump into them frequently?
Well, yeah. The other Pine trainers are my friends, I guess. Not sure I've met them all yet though! I met Christina in Violet City, and later we decided to travel south together. She's really sweet. I guess. There's also Melody, whom I met long ago in Cherrygrove but didn't really remember, hehe. She's cool! But she's hanging out with that Vincent guy... I really don't understand him. And I'm really not sad if I never meet him again. Nope.
Other people I've met are Sarah (but I'm not sure if I'll see her again...), Donald (he taught me stuff in Violet and seems to, uh, admire me now?) and of course Morgan. Morgan's a bit rude, but I wonder if she isn't somewhat insecure deep down. I think I'll try to make her open up!
But to answer your question, I mostly just bump into them now and then since we're all traveling along the same path through Johto.
3. What's so scary about ghosts to you? Is there a story behind that?
...
Mm. Okay. If you promise not to laugh. My sister died a couple of years back. Anabel. She was really cool - she and her friend Rachel wanted to be pokémon trainers and all. It was an accident. I used to be a crybaby, really. But after that, I think... I dunno, I just couldn't cry at all. And I must have changed a bit, as a person. I did it on purpose, but I think others believe that I'm really ignorant and naive sometimes. I'm not. But yeah... If ghost pokémon are real, who's to say that actual ghosts aren't real? And that ghost pokémon... are actually real ghosts? And the thought of meeting my sister as a pokémon just... urr, sorry is it chilly in here?
Whoa, I don't usually tell people my inner stuff like this. I must really like you, or something, haha. Hm.
4. You said your parents "haven't had it easy." Any particular instance come to mind that you would like to share? Were there any points growing up where you experienced that first hand?
I mean, they do have it pretty easy in life I guess. They never had any bumps from what I know. But there was the thing with my sister. After that, they haven't been as happy as before, even though they pretend to be. I can tell. It took them hard. I couldn't really stay in Cherrygrove forever and just go along with that, so Pine's study was a great opportunity to... Uh, I don't mean that I fled home, I just... Uh, did you have any more questions?
5. Does Chocolate like the nickname that they've been given?
Actually, I don't think he cares much. I could have named him Meatball and he'd gone along with it, loyal and forgiving as he is. Actually, maybe I should rename him. He's pretty ugly as a Quilladin. I can only hope he'll evolve again!
What a helpful thread to take a more in depth look for my character! Let me fill this one out with Tricia Lee, my character from Begin Again.
What is your full name?
Um... hello. My name is Tricia. Tricia Lee.
When and where were you born?
I was born on 10th of August in Canalave City, Sinnoh. It was such a nice and comfortable place, being near the harbor. I like the smell of the sea.
Who are/were your parents?
Um... from what I heard from Dad and brother, Mom used to work in Pokemon Center as a nurse and Dad was a very talented Pokemon trainer—though nowadays, Dad mainly works as a researcher, mainly studying Pokemon history in Canalave Library. Mom stays at home, but she also helps my dad with his studies.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Yes, of course. I have two brothers, Triton and Trent. Triton now works as a Pokemon researcher like Dad, but he does his research of Pokemon evolution with Professor Rowan in Sandgem Town. My second brother Trent is currently studying Pokemon in Celadon City's university to be a Pokemon doctor. My brothers are all amazing... I really love and respect them. Ah, I am actually living with my grandparents right now. When I was 10, me and my brother Trent moved to Lavender Town to live with my grandparents so that brother can prepare his study as a Pokemon doctor in Celadon City. My grandparents runs a local Pokemon Day Care in Lavender Town, so I usually play with a lot of tiny Pokemon.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
(can I edit this soon? Because I haven't really thought about her history aside of moving to Lavender Town since she was 8)
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
As I said earlier, I live with my grandparents whom run a Pokemon Day Care. Brother Trent lives in his university's dorm, so he only visits us in weekends. My grandparents are rather protective of me, but I can actually defend myself because I have Momo with me... Besides, Mr. Lin taught me how to battle like Fighting-type Pokemon, so I should be fine.
What do you do for a living?
...Hm, going on a journey and defeating Pokemon gyms... I guess?
Do you have any special abilities?
Yes. I'm not boasting it, but I think I can run faster than girls around my age. Also, I can actually defend myself using martial arts, that's why I usually train with Momo by play-fight with him.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
I have a natural reddish magenta hair... like my dad. My brother is more like my mother, since their hair is more brown-looking rather than magenta. My eyes' are also like my dad's. Everyone says I look like dad, but not so alike with my mom. I stand at 5'1 and I'm not secretive about my weight--I'm 103 pounds. Um, I don't really like wearing clothing that restricts my movement so I guess I like wearing pants much better...
To which social class do you belong?
Middle class, I suppose. My father, mother and eldest brother are researchers while my second eldest brother is studying to be a Pokemon doctor. I'm happy with my family, though we might not be as rich as the bourgeois communities out there.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Not... really. But I don't really like bitter berries.
What does your voice sound like?
A bit high-pitched like most of girls, but I do sound a bit mature for a girl around my age. (OOC: Voice ref is Cristina Vee's Morgiana)
What do you have in your pockets?
Usually a bit of Pokedollars, my Pokeballs and a small notebook containing important notes related to my Pokemon.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I guess I like intimidating and scary-looking Pokemon better than cuter Pokemon. Something that usually my friends think weird of, when I feel like there's nothing weird about my preference.
***
The questions are for Mauve Banzett, since we play in the same universe/thread and all. xD
  1. Are you interested in Pokemon Contests like your mother?
  2. Since when did you start to love carnivorous Grass-type Pokemon? What are their greatest charms that interest you?
  3. Do you often visit the Kimono Girls in Ecruteak City?
  4. Have you ever met a Legendary Pokemon? Either yes or no, what is your favorite Legendary Pokemon?
  5. What kind of girls do you like? *cough*
Khawill November 29th, 2014 6:52 PM
1. What is going on in the world around you right now? I don't participate much in other's stories, extremely powerful entities are boring characters for a story. I occasionally pop up in multiple worlds in order talk with a character or give someone the MacGuffin.
2. How did you get your warping powers? I realized that I was being controlled at all points of my life, and acted accordingly. First I killed my parents, to me they were like gods, after all they created me, fed me, kept me alive. I couldn't allow that, so I severed that tie. The consequence of my actions was of course, the death sentence, and while in jail, I realized the warden was doing much the same as my parents. I planned his assassination for two year. I succeeded of course, though I was also killed, though I died free. I awoke from death, blessed by a higher being I'm sure, and realized my power instantly.
3. Do you consider yourself better than mankind? Mankind has the illusion of freedom, and are happy that they do. Obviously, as a free and powerful entity, I am above man, though I do not see the race as particularly weak, and I thoroughly enjoy toying with and observing them. I must say that I am not a particularly good thing to judge humans, as I was considered quite evil and inhumane when I was human.
4. What happens when you die? I just wake up in a pocket dimension that effectively acts as my "room". Think of it like getting killed in a dream, you'll wake up in your bed.
5. What is your goal in life? To be free. I've mostly reached that goal, though I do recognize that there may be a deity higher than me, and that makes me wish I had the power to find it. Honestly, I've lived for so long, there really is much else for me to do but stay entertained.
I am interested in you, Aberdeen, do you mind if I ask you a few questions in return?
1. My first question will mirror your last, What, ultimately, do you want to do with your life?
2. How far would you go to bring back the people you have lost in your life?
3. Are you a mentally strong individual? I do not mean your strength, I mean your willpower.
4. If you were to leave the world you are in, forever, would there be anyone or anything that would hold you back?
4a. If this is a person, would you endure hell for them?
5. Are you truly free?
MurkMire November 29th, 2014 8:22 PM
OMG I'm so sorry! D: I must've not understood that part. My apologies! Anyway, I will be replying AND returning questions to Tricia Lee.
Are you interested in Pokemon Contests like your mother?
Quite honestly? Yes, yes I am. I mean... I would LOVE to participate in Pokemon Contests. However, I was thinking maybe I'd do Gym battles this year, and pursue Contests another year? I don't know...
Since when did you start to love carnivorous Grass-type Pokemon? What are their greatest charms that interest you?
I suppose it was that very Carnivine that made me fall in love with those such Pokemon. Eventually, after my uncle left to return to Pastoria City, I researched Pokemon like Cacnea, Carnivine, Foongus, and my partners evolutionary forms. Eventually, I want to catch each of them....
Do you often visit the Kimono Girls in Ecruteak City?
Funny story... they actually came to my mother's studio to practice once a week. Of course, my mother wanted me to watch, and so I did. Needless to say, I was very nervous, being in that room with all of those lovely ladies....
Have you ever met a Legendary Pokemon? Either yes or no, what is your favorite Legendary Pokemon?
No, I have not met a Legendary Pokemon. But, if I had to pick a favorite...it would be Giratina. Such a fascinating Legendary, indeed.
What kind of girls do you like? -cough-
I beg your pardon? Well, um... I don't really know, eheheh....
Now, Tricia Lee of Begin Again, here are some questions for you.
1. Of your preference for intimidating Pokemon, which of these Pokemon do you like most?
2. Do you have any long term goals?
3. Do you think you might do a similar line of work that your family does, like Pokemon researching?
4. How do you feel about being around other people?
5. Do you miss Canalave City?
Turnip December 1st, 2014 6:36 AM
Answers from Tiny Raz:
What did you just say to me?
1. What are some things that just reeeaaally get on your nerves?
Questions like these, for one. Prick.
2. What is your most prized possession, and why?
Hmm... oddly enough, I'm not all that materialistic. I have little need for much else other than the unimaginable power that rushes through my very being. Regardless, I suppose I'm fairly fond of my general attire - that is to say, my robe, staff, and occasional pointy hat - but they're all fairly easily replaceable.
3. Have you ever had anyone you were particularly close to?
Hmph. You realise you're asking The Dreadmage, the most powerful evil sorcerer in Valkaria and beyond? What do you honestly think I'm going to say? "Yes, I have a soft spot for this one particular person: allow me to detail to you their home address"? I'm not an idiot, nor am I subject to those pitiful, fatuous 'emotions', as you call them. Being an evil wizard, disallowing others to get close to me comes with the job description - though I'm sure nobody would be particularly thrilled to do so even if I did allow such... drivel.
4. Once you've fulfilled you goal of dominating the world (if you ever do), what do you plan to do?
What do you mean, 'if'? I will rule the world with an iron fist - and kill all the pricks. Other than that, it really isn't much of your bloody business.
5. What is your idea of an ideal ruler?
Me. I'm my ideal ruler. Unless you're referring to the measuring instrument, in which case it should be one of those see-through ones so you can see what you're measuring. Those are convenient. Odd question, to ask about measuring implements, though. Is something wrong with you?
Questions right back at ya, Kaveri:
1. Why do you feel the need to tease Raz? :P
2. How do you feel about the other factions?
3. If you weren't a member of the Gold Tribe, what do you think you'd do?
4. Any particular aspirations for the future?
5. Which is more extreme: your ability to eat candy, or Callimer's ability to be a fatso?
Fort PokePower December 3rd, 2014 10:02 AM
Questions for Raz:
1. Well, now that you've brought measurements up, what is you preferred system of measurement? The metric system or the imperial system?
2. Being a Psychic-type, you can of course lift things with your psychic powers. Could you also use your psychic abilities to fly?
3. What's with all the berries? Can I have one?
4. Assuming you have a to-kill list, who is at the top of the list? Besides Darkrai.
5. Are there any among the group who you wouldn't mind having as an accomplice?
Answers from Kaveri:
1. What are your biggest fears?
What I fear more than anything is losing my bro. He's the last blood family I have left, and we've been through thick and thin together. I just don't know what I'd do if he were to die, and with the job we've got, that's a possibility every moment of every day. What I fear just as much, though... is failing. Failing to keep Cal safe, and failing to defeat Darkrai. Not just because of Darkrai wins, we'll all die, but because if he wins, I'll have failed Wildfire and everyone else who sacrificed their lives to defeat him 30 years ago.
2. Would you describe yourself as courageous? Why?
Well, I don't mean to brag or anything, heh... Yeah, I consider myself courageous. I had to be for Cal when we were growing up, and now I've gotta be for everyone who's looking up to the Gold Tribe to defend them. We leap right into the mouth of death and snap every one of its teeth so it can't consume those behind us. It's scary as heck, knowing that if you slip up you could lose your life and possibly even more, but at the same time, it's the most exciting thing ever.
3. What is the most important thing for one to do in life?
I dunno. To live?
4. Is the day better when it begins or when it ends?
When it begins, of course! Because at the beginning of the day, there's so many possibilities for what could happen during that day.
5. What is the worst thing you've ever done?
Seriously? I'm a world class prankster, how the heck do you expect me to pick?
6. Why do you feel the need to tease Raz?
Oh please, I tease everyone! Though I gotta admit, he's one of the funnest, heh. He just makes it so easy!
7. How do you feel about the other factions?
Well, the Thieves are turning out to be a pretty swell bunch, especially the King of Thieves, even if my morals don't allow me to totally agree with their practices. Even if I do occasionally partake in them myself... But hey, it's not like I keep the stuff! Everything I "steal" is always returned right away. You really think a real thief would be allowed into the Gold Tribe? Sheesh... Anyways. The only thief I'm having a bit of a hard to accepting is Charlie. I didn't really know the guy back when he was in the Gold Tribe, but I've heard some tales about what he did. I don't hate him, but I have a difficult time trusting him.
As for the Seekers... Penance is even more nuts than me! I can't say I much like how he goes about doing things, but he's definitely a handy ally. And I gotta admit, for all his faults and insanity, he's a pretty amusing fellow; I might even get along with him if he was a little more aware of civilian safety.
SEC has gadgets, though, so they're definitely the coolest.
8. If you weren't a member of the Gold Tribe, what do you think you'd do?
I imagine I'd probably have become a teacher at H.A.S. It was where I was schooled, and it's one of Wildfire's great accomplishments. I already hang out there a lot in my free time; a full time position doesn't seem like such a bad idea.
9. Any particular aspirations for the future?
Besides kicking Darkrai's butt? I dunno. I prefer to live in the moment, what's in the future is in the future.
10. Which is more extreme: your ability to eat candy, or Callimer's ability to be a fatso?
That's a hard one... While I'd love to take the cake on this one, Cal would probably lock me up somewhere if I took his cake.
The Charred Mecha Dragon Zero December 5th, 2014 5:31 PM
Some questions for Muave:
1. Do you teach your Pokémon to dance?
2. Are you friends with the Kimono Girls?
3. Have you visited the Great Marsh in Pastoria?
4. In know this is weird, but have you seen magic weilding Pokémon?
5. Do you have a Tropius?
...
I don't know if it's okay to use a character from an RP in another forum, but I've yet to join an RPs in here so, yeah...
Character Name: Isaac "Frozen" Trester
RP they are in: The Endless World: A Fantasy RPG (as a lizard man devil contractor) and Baptism by Fire (as an Ice-type Charizard)
Using the former.
  • What is your full name?
    *flinches* Isaac... "Frozen" Trester... I prefer to be called Frozen.
  • When and where were you born?
    I do not know the exact year as I haven't checked any calender recently, but I am 37 years old. I was born in Avaron, a town without a Noble Family ruling it, on the edge of Jan Desert, where my father came from.
  • Who are/were your parents?
    They were...*grimaces* Luna A. Trester, a red-haired person, my mother, and...Geriro C. Trester, a thorny devil lizard beastman (Author's Note: Wrong lizard name in his SU), my father.
  • Do you have any family other than your parents?
    To my knowledge, no.
  • Any story from the past you'd like
    to share with us?
    No. Just...no...
  • Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
    I...don't have a home. At least, not anymore...
  • What do you do for a living?
    Nothing. I just roam around, taking odd jobs if dangerous enough.
  • Do you have any special abilities?
    Yes.
  • Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
    Well... I have been told my eyes are icy blue and I know my skin has a yellow tint. But the feature everyone points out are my pale yellow horns and brown-yellow tail. I do not have any physical scars, but...never mind... Then there's my fr-necklace and...metal wristband.
  • To which social class do you belong?
    I am lower class right now, seeing as I have no money whatsoever. Any money I get, if someone insists me to have it, I give to orphants and orphanages. I...was before in the middle class...
  • Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
    Hmm? None, as far as I know. Other than my weakness to holy magic.
  • What does your voice sound like?
    Apparently a cross between a North Easterner (equivalent to an Englishman) and a North Westerner (equivalent to an American) despite being from the East (equivalent to an Asian) who is very smart.
  • What do you have in your pockets?
    ... My experimentation vial.
  • Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
    I'm normal compared to the rest of my kind, but not when compared to...humans... I am most concisely described, in the words of someone I met, as an "impossible fusion between lonely and flirty." I must say I was surprised he could say something so eloquently, as he was drunk at the time.
Questions for Gerrick Errias (SVuh)
1. Something tells me you've got a plan to break out. Can you give us any hints as to how?
2. What you gonna do when you get out of jail?
3. When you were imitating your brother, did you feel any guilt, at all, about pretending he was still alive and that you were him?
4. Can you tell us more about Roartz? Was he a good "father" to you?
5. Have you ever met had a lady friend who you thought you might eventually settle down with? What happened to her, if so?
Answers for Adventure from Isak:
Do you usually talk much?
I prefer to listen, mostly. Talking gets me in trouble with others, often enough, because I say things that others don't like, or do things that make them give me a weird look.
At least... that's what they did at the ECUL. A lot of my classmates didn't like me. Maybe it's not that way with the Gold Tribe here in Amoon? I guess I'll find out soon enough.
Do you consider yourself wise?
Um... no, not really. Wisdom comes with experience, and I don't have that. Pokemon like Garland or Beryl are wise, with all their battle experience. Me? Most of my decisions are made on the fly, though I do sometimes check wind patterns and for obstacles. I guess it comes with the strategy of flinging yourself through the air.
What is your favourite season?
I'd say winter. Buneary from Amoon are not afraid of cold weather. Plus, the white snow makes it easy to hide or track others. Growing up in Amoon, there are always large snowstorms. It does get very cold, but I'm used to it. I have fond memories of feeling the chilly wind that comes after the snow has settled.
On the other hand, I hate summer. My family's burrow was specifically designed to make sure that the temperature inside always stayed well-below the temperature outside.
Do you prefer being around others or spend time alone?
It's hard to say. When I'm with others, I pay attention and talk, but I also enjoy running around outdoors, alone. I guess it depends on what's going on around me?
Is there anyone you are afraid of?
I'd imagine so, but I haven't met them yet. I don't know many scary individual Pokemon off the top of my head, but I've had my fair share of being scared clueless ever since I was a hatchling. I've had close calls with Murkrow, Vulpix, and Seviper, among others, and I used to get really nervous around them, but I've learned to deal with my fears a bit as I've gotten older. I still have problems with blood, though.
...
Should I make an interview for Beryl?
SV December 8th, 2014 10:10 PM
For Isak:
1. What made you develop the method you did for testing the people you trust?
2. Are there any among the Gold Tribe you trust more than others? Less than others?
3. What do you think about the current state of affairs in Exathor?
4. You're given a free pass to suddenly leave Exathor behind and the (presumably) impending destruction heading your way. No strings attached, no sacrifices to yourself personally. Would you take it?
5. Can you describe your ideal day?
1. Something tells me you've got a plan to break out. Can you give us any hints as to how?
If I did have a plan ta get out, do ya think I'd tell anyone so they can screw up my sh*t?
2. What you gonna do when you get out of jail?
I'm gonna pay that torturer a lil visit. First, some pain for him, then the b*tches. Then... I get the hell outta here and hopefully never see another Gold Tribe face fer as long as I live.
3. When you were imitating your brother, did you feel any guilt, at all, about pretending he was still alive and that you were him?
Nah, not really. I mean, if I knew him longer when I was a kid, maybe I would. But really the only thing I knew about him at that point was that he was my bro because he looked just like me. If it hadn't been for that, I wouldn't have hesitated one bit as I took his spot. There was a moment but... well I'm over it.
4. Can you tell us more about Roartz? Was he a good "father" to you?
Heh... Roartz was the kinda 'mon that you didn't know was lookin' out for ya until ya were old enough to realize he was lookin' out for ya... yeah that makes sense. In the beginnin', there was a lot of him jes messin’ with me, makin’ me look bad, and keepin’ me behind while everyone else did the work. I didn’t realize until later that he wasn’t keepin’ me behind to make me feel worse or because he thought I was useless or anything… he was protectin’ me… heh...
5. Have you ever met had a lady friend who you thought you might eventually settle down with? What happened to her, if so?
...There was a girl once... maybe... I don't feel like sharin' this one.
I'll answer questions for the cunning wizarding Delphox I command in SV's Odyssey. Boy, this should be fun *Ray rubs hands*
What is your full name?
My full name, no, but I can tell you... part of it. Sylvio Arcansus, at your services. *bows slightly*
When and where were you born?
Ah, such trivialities matter little! But if you insist, I was born in the last day of the year, during the snows of the heaviest winter Beatruce has ever seen, in a little, insignificant town with a rather forgettable name that I will not mention.
Who are/were your parents?
My mother was an egg tender in the place we called Wingley, where wild birds lay their eggs. Having nowhere else to live during the winter, I was raised amongst common poultry... something that no one must know, now that I have grown to be a man of formidable status. When I was a child, I didn't mind. My childhood friends tasted like chicken. Ha-ha!
And my father was a Beatrucian senator, a truly powerful man in his own right, though so weak when it came down to dueling. I despised him with every hair of my fur.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Family? What is family? Is it when you are related to someone by blood? Are we not all related by blood? I have no family, sir, I have allies and enemies.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
As you may or may not know, I am a famous duelist in the Karnian Empire - that is right, the place where conflict is solved by blood, and not by logic. A very unlikely place for me, yet I thrived there as well! Arcansus is not a name that I was given by my mother or father, but rather the man who adopted me, and it carries a strong legacy, which I was called to defend in a duel against the scion of the Lovardi family. I accepted, of course, even though the man that I would face in battle was a Crawdaunt, a Pokemon with a typing that is much to my disadvantage, doubly so.
And they knew it, by all means. I had to improvise. I chose the finest daggers that could be found in the armory of my step father in Karn and concealed them within a dark robe that I would later wear in every one of my duels. Before the duel, I feigned worry and despair, so my opponent would be convinced he had the upper hand - I knew very well how arrogant the Lovardis could be. When the duel started, he commenced with a barrage of vicious attacks, believing I would yield. I responded with no attacks of my own, I only sought to block and avoid his. But I also set up an invisible trick called the Magic Room, which drives every item in the room in my psychic grasp. The moment he drew a second breath after a flurry of his own passionate attacks, I let my robe fly open and, making use of the trick, forced the daggers to fly off their sheathes and stab into the Crawdaunt.
It wasn't pretty, of course, but he had a hard shell, everyone was confident that he would survive, even if he lost the duel. I made sure he did not. I had covered the blades with the Altaria's Tears, an untraceable poison that eats through the body like cancer. You do not think that is honorable? Well, one must do what one can do to survive. How long can poor Sylvio survive with a passionate enemy in his tail? I will have you know, I crop threats to my person, dear interviewer... and now that I have spoken the truth, I sincirely hope you are not one of them.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
It is rather hard to describe a place, as I am on the move. As for the people, some are useful, some are foolish and some are dangerous...
What do you do for a living?
I am the god of drinks and parties and women! Figuratively speaking... or not? Ha!
I have enough gold to live a dozen rich, lordly lives. There is no need for me to work.
Do you have any special abilities?
I do. Don't we all? Ahaha!
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
I am a tall and thin for a Delphox and I like to keep my beard groomed, shiny and pointy! I do wear my duelist robes from time to time, so I have to keep my tail trimmed short. My eyes are ruby red.
To which social class do you belong?
I belong to the High Society in both nations of Karn and Beatruce. In Karn, I attained that class through my... effectiveness as a duelist. In Beatruce, one must simply be wealthy!
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
*Sylvio purses his snout and gives us a haughty look*
I may have, but it is not for you to know.
What does your voice sound like?
It sounds charming, mixed with the many accents of the places I have been in!
What do you have in your pockets?
I have no pockets!
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
What quirk can Sylvio possibly have? That is not for me to say!
Questions for the wannabe Khajiit, Sylvio :P
1. Are there any of these 'useful', 'foolish' and/or 'dangerous' people you'd like to go into more detail about?
2. How do you feel about the other factions? Any you particularly prefer over the others?
3. What would you do if you lost access to your Magic Room for a week?
4. Why can't you tell us your full name?
5. Have you ever considered settling down anywhere?
As for my gubs, up here is Pendro from Creamingly Donburgers Crimson Dawn: A Tale of Conquest.
What is your full name?
Pendro 'Reaching Mind' Malis - the, uh, the middle bit is my title, not really a, uh, a part of my name, but you did say 'full name', so I suppose including it is probably for the best. Pendro Malis! 'Reaching Mind' of the Gold Tribe. That's, erm... m-my full name. There you go...
When and where were you born?
Erm, heheh, funny thing about that, actually. Skyhaven, on the sixteenth day of the tenth month, 1039. Twenty years ago today... not, erm, not nearly as much of a festive occasion as I'd like, if, erm, i-if I'm honest.
Who are/were your parents?
My parents are- or, erm, well, I hope they still- I- no, they're Alamas and Krisa Malis, Gold Tribe veterans and generally very nice people... Metagrosses, both of them, generally wonderfully at home in Skyhaven, I... I'd really rather not discuss this right now, I miss them a lot...
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Not really. I know some members of the Gold Tribe subscribe to the rule that all Gold Tribe are family, but I'd really rather not do such a thing - I barely know most members of the tribe, and calling them family seems to do little other than invalidate any ties I have managed to create with others... I'd hate to pre-judge people, even if that pre-judging happens to be in a positive light.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Probably, erm... probably nothing much you'd find interesting, I mostly just read books... unless recent history is still concerned, in which case there are some incidents like the Battle of Alamagna, Stoneyard, the short stay in Amoon, but I, uh... I think I'd perhaps rather not talk about those things. Not right now - far too stressful...
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
Probably, erm- well, I’m not even entirely sure what to count as my home anymore, if anywhere is going to be particularly hospitable in the slightest after recent events anyhow… I suppose I still consider Skyhaven my home. All the time spent in the libraries, my parents’ lovely house, the… libraries… erm, now, however, it seems as though I’m always on the move. As I’ve already said, I’m not too keen on speaking about my parents at the moment, so… well, the Emperor and the Gold Tribe seem to be my current company, though it’s not as if I’ve really spoken to any but a select few. I tend to avoid the Emperor, to be honest – not the friendliest sort, it seems; perhaps a little on the ignorant side, too. I- did I just say that? I’m- wow, I’m- I… I’m allowed to say that here? I’m not allowed not to? I- I’m not sure I understand this place. Very strange. Fascinating nonetheless, I’ll have to- oh! Sorry, the questions, the questions! Erm… so yes, Garland, the Gold Tribe’s leader, doesn’t seem too bad. I’ve been talking with Cassandra a lot lately, every now and then I’ll speak with Zack, or Punisher, or Tavhir, or – oh, and I did get kidnapped that one time. That was an ordeal. I’ll probably have to ask a few things after I’m done with… what was I doing before this? How did I get here, again?
What do you do for a living?
Erm… so, I suppose you don’t do ‘answers’, then. It’s a little rude, frankly, but I suppose it can’t be helped – erm, in terms of a living, I’m a member of the Gold Tribe. That tends to be resolved in and of itself. Additionally, I’m pretty sure the librarians in Skyhaven owe me a good few years wages for all the free work I did. Now if only I had the courage to ask…
Do you have any special abilities?
Erm… not particularly, I’m just, erm… me. I mean, I have Magnet Rise…
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
Oh? That’s odd – visual descriptions? You must be recording this. F-fascinating, if, erm… a little bit creepy. Oh well, uh- erm, I’m a Metang of the variety colloquially referred to as ‘shiny’; that is to say, a grey body with golden horns and claws. I have red eyes, a case on my back for storing books, berries and the like, and two black, golden gilded bracers on each of my arms. Hello!
To which social class do you belong?
I would, uh, really rather not be considered part of any kind of social hierarchy – the entire thing is something of an uncomfortable concept.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Well, I’m incredibly nervous and fearful of most things to the point of being abysmal at social interaction and far from optimal during pressured combat, along with just having recovered from the Dark Pulse of a destruction deity which left me completely immobilised for a good few days… apart from that, there’s probably a myriad of other issues with me, but besides those, I’m peachy!
What does your voice sound like?
Erm… uh, probably on the higher side of Metang voices – still fairly metallic and, of course, psychically resonant due to its very nature. In general, aside from my, erm… o-obvious pauses and occasional stuttering, I’m really very well spoken. I wouldn’t go as far to say ‘posh’ – though I have learned to put that on at will, or, erm… some other times involuntarily, still not sure what that is – b-but, erm, nevertheless, I’d say it’s certainly clipped to some degree.
What do you have in your pockets?
Are, erm…? Are you even actually here? Are you- well, I suppose I can’t really tell because you don’t do the ‘answering’ thing, do you? I’m beginning to think that these questions are pre-recorded somehow – not that I can really do anything about it. Well, because I don't have any pockets, I'll just tell you that in the case at my back there are a couple of pots of mixed useful berries, as well as three books: one on historical conflicts, one on battle theory, and one on evolutionary science.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I, erm… well, I’m probably not that interesting to look at – I’m just, well… me. All of my mannerisms are likely to be somewhat strange, and I’m probably very annoying, too… sorry about that…
Question from Aques Keus to Aberdeen:
1. My first question will mirror your last, What, ultimately, do you want to do with your life?
*opens mouth but sits quiet for a moment*
I just want to live a life worth living. I want to see as much as I can and experience as much as I can, meet as many people and pokémon as I possibly could. Yeah, it sounds so cliche. But I'm never going to settle with a boring life. That's why I started traveling and training.
2. How far would you go to bring back the people you have lost in your life?
I haven't really thought about that. They can't come back and I know that, you know? Maybe I wish for things to be different sometimes, but I'm not gonna be depressed for the rest of my life because someone else didn't even get to live theirs.
But if it was possible... Of course I'd do anything.
3. Are you a mentally strong individual? I do not mean your strength, I mean your willpower.
*scratches head*
I, uh... I don't really worry much about those things. Well, physically I have to admit I could do better, haha. But mentally?
*shrugs*
If I really think about it, I don't think many things can topple me over. I'm strong enough.
4. If you were to leave the world you are in, forever, would there be anyone or anything that would hold you back?
Wow. Well, I wouldn't want to leave the world, firstly. But I guess my pokémon would be pretty alone if I did. And my parents, of course. I really wouldn't want them to lose another child, you know?
4a. If this is a person, would you endure hell for them?
Um. Maybe? I'm supposed to say yes here to be a good person, aren't I? I guess I would though. For some. Like... Ah, it doesn't matter.
5. Are you truly free?
Definitely! Okay, there were a few guidelines on this mission for professor Pine, but right now I go wherever I want and do whatever I want.
Questions from Prince to Aberdeen:
1. Do you think that shiny Pokemon are more valuable than normal ones? *looks at Chocolate*
I used to not even know what they were. Professor Pine gave me Chocolate to raise and eventually I learned that he was oddly colored. I don't know yet if there are any other differences, but the professor seemed to think it was worth investigating. Regarding Chocolate in particular I think he'd look better if he was green, haha. No offense, pal.
2. Have you ever been interested in following your father's or your mother's footsteps? Ever thought of becoming a florist or trying your luck as a doctor, instead of being a Pokemon trainer?
Oh yeah. Before, uh... Before she passed, she was the trainer and I was just a kid thinking I'd become a florist or farmer or something. I mean, I hadn't even thought much about what I would become when I grew up. I didn't realize how precious life is. How you can't waste it.
3. Is there any memory of you and your sister that you cherish?
*wrinkles forehead but then smiles softly*
4. Has her passing away made you put more effort in becoming a trainer? For her sake, you know - she wanted to become a trainer, after all.I think I answered that a bit earlier. I only became a trainer because I wanted to not end up like her. I mean... That sounded terrible. I didn't say that. But I guess it is true.
5. What exactly has that character Vincent done to you that made you dislike him so?
*crosses arms*
I'll tell you, he didn't even want to come and rescue Melody initially! And then when it was over, he took cred for it and didn't even try to help me when I was overwhelmed by the Smeargles, and he's just a thug and a prick and tried to be funny and scare me and-
Ah. I just, I just don't want to hang out with him, okay? And it sort of bothers me that Melody is blind to his, his evil. At least Christina agrees with me. Or so I think...
---
Questions for Gelius3's Gelius:
1. What would you do if you suddenly won a million pokedollars?
And now the interview for my character, Sammy Cooper from PTA.
What is your full name?
What's it to you? Everyone just calls me Sammy, or sometimes Coop. Even my pops doesn't use my full name... ugh, alright, alright. It's "Samantha Felicity Cooper". Happy?
When and where were you born?
Uh, nearly seventeen years ago. And what's it matter where I was born? Not like I'm from there or stuck around.
Who are/were your parents?
My pops is a seaman -DON'T LAUGH- and a damn good one too. We've always looked out for each other, more him for me than the other way around. My mom ain't with us.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
I dunno, maybe somewhere I think? It's always just been me and my pops, that's all we've ever needed. I try not to talk about family too much, it always upsets him I think.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
I dunno, I'm not much of a storyteller... how about when I met Elvis? He was just a Corphish back then, but that's a story I guess. See - me and my pops always lived on ships, since that was how he made a living and all. And I'd always wanted a Pokemon, but with being out at sea you're kinda restricted to Water Pokemon, and the only way you're really gonna catch one of those is by fishing. Problem is I can't fish, just never had the knack for it. Lines always get tangled, I jab myself with the hook, the lures get in my hair... anyway. One time I tried using nets for a change, I figured it'd be easier, but it was even worse! Damn thing kept getting tangled around me every time I tried to throw it and eventually I'd just had enough so I threw the bloody mess into the ocean. And luck being what it is that's when I finally caught something! It got all caught up in a Corphish, and it was so tangled the poor thing couldn't get loose or use its claws to cut itself free. Now I've always been a strong swimmer so I jumped straight in - which come to think of it is pretty stupid out at sea - and made straight for Corphish to free him. But, uh, my luck with the net wasn't any better in the water than out of it, so I sorta ended up getting caught too. I probably would have drowned and taken that poor Corphish down with me if the boys from the ship hadn't fished us out. Well I promised that Corphish while they were cutting us loose that I wouldn't be that careless with my actions again, not when it could hurt a Pokemon y'know? And he's not left me alone since! I loved that little scuttler like you wouldn't believe, and just recently he evolved into a Crawdaunt. After that I started calling him Elvis, which seems to suit him. Uh... is that sorta what you wanted?
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
I'm at the Pokemon Trainer Academy on Oak Island right now, in the Entei dorm. So I live with a bunch of other people from that dorm, but I don't hang around with them too much. I'm sure they're good folks, I'm just too busy to be lazing around the common room y'know?
What do you do for a living?
Do for a...? I'm at school, if that counts.
Do you have any special abilities?
I don't follow. Do you mean like talents? I like to think I'm a pretty decent Pokemon Trainer, and I'm a good swimmer. I love boxing, but I'm alright at a couple of different martial arts. Nothing like my jab though! Pow pow!
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
Wh... what are you, some kinda perv? I'm just a person alright? Brown hair, green eyes, bla bla bla. What a weird question, I mean I'm stood RIGHT here!
To which social class do you belong?
I don't think I've taken a social class yet... sounds kinda dull. I'll probably skip it and go catch a new Pokemon instead.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Nope, healthy as a Horsea! I try to work out a lot even if I do eat like a Munchlax.
What does your voice sound like?
Like butter sliding over hot gravel. No seriously, you can hear, I'm talkin' to you. You tell me.
What do you have in your pockets?
Is that a riddle? I think you've got it the wrong way round. Let's see... my pocket knife, some receipts from the TM and Poffin stores... that's about it I guess. I tend to carry most stuff in my backpack.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I guess I'm not much of a girly girl, y'know? That's somethin' I've been thinking about lately. I mean I don't wanna be some frilly crybaby but I pretty much grew up at sea. That'll toughen you up real quick - more ways than one. Maybe now that I'm a bit of a landlubber I should try and see if I'm missin' out on... like, part of who I am? Ah, I dunno. That's something else I'm trying to sort out - all this thinking about stuff. I used to just get on with things and be who I was.
EDIT: Added another character
(Based on Pokemon Trainer Academy)
What is your full name?
Mark Wilson.
When and where were you born?
I was born in one of the apartments up in Celedon City. Pretty nice place, besides the occasional pollution problem that occurs there. Being in walking distance from the Department Store was pretty sweet.
Who are/were your parents?
Won't go into names but my mom used to be a Pokemon Trainer like myself and a darned good one. She helped me catch my first Pokemon but I'll get into that later. My dad seemed to take a route as a gambler with a little too much luck on his side. We've somewhat made up from that little incident but I'm still a tad uneasy around him.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Nah not really.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
How about when I caught my Sableye, Snype? Awhile back me and my mom were taking a trip to Cerulean City for the sole purpose of catching my first Pokemon in one of the nearby routes. Little did I know that there was a swarm of Sableye in the area and lucky us, we were able to find one! I used my mom's Poliwag, which was named Len to help me catch it. However he was a pretty disobedient little bugger who seemed to take joy in pulling pranks on me and my family. Whenever I was asleep he'd also sneak out and cause trouble. It made for a pretty darn exciting childhood I have to say. After a few weeks of dealing with that, I decided to sneak out at night and follow Snype to see what he was up to and one way or another, I decided to join him in his little pranks! It was alot of fun and I think that moment was one of the reasons we grew such a strong relationship.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
I'm currently in the Raikou Dorm of the Pokemon Trainer Academy training up to become a stronger trainer.
What do you do for a living?
Well uh... I don't really have a job but I've considered looking into being a Gym Leader someday.
Do you have any special abilities?
I feel like I have a serious knack when it comes to Pokemon Battle strategies. Rarely do they let me down and when they do, I always come up with a new way to improve it. Honestly its my favorite part of being a trainer.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
Nothing too special... though rather then explain it, I can show you a picture!
http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/276/8/9/mark_commission_by_vay_demona-d5gp263.png
To which social class do you belong?
Never really paid attention to that sorta stuff.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
I have a pretty severe phobia to large bodies of water after an incident that happened during a beach trip. Just looking at it gets me nervous.
What does your voice sound like?
Very Calm and understanding sounding kind of voice... when I'm not battling that is. Otherwise I'm extremely competitive.
What do you have in your pockets?
A note pad as well as a round stone that an odd symbol on it. I feel like it could be important to the future. Snype seems to really like it for some reason.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Well I do tend to get wrapped up in my talk of Pokemon. If you get me started on strategic planning I'm very difficult to stop. I tend to criticise teams as well during battles but I try to be nice about it. That's a good thing though right?
Snype (Sableye) (Pokemon Odyssey Universe)
What is your full name?
Snype. Juuustt Snype. Keheh. Or you can call me the King of Thieves if a want.
When and where were you born?
Somewhere in the thieves forest. My memory is a bit foggy way back there.
Who are/were your parents?
Pretty sure my mom was a Sableye. Can't seem to remember my father though. My time as a baby is a bit hazy for me, like I said.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
Third times the charm right? Nope.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
A bit of a touchy topic but I used to work for a big bad being called Darkrai. We were called Sentinels. Before joining, I was with a large group of thieves which hid in this massive maze of a forest. The other sentinels were helping us get a bit of a revenge scheme going on with our eternal rivals, the gold tribe and helped us get back at that. Even managed to kill a few off. I acted as the scout and informant of the group and I'd say I did a pretty darn good job. Keheh. Though I pretty much expected the Silver Tribe would just eliminate the thieves after they were done. It was a selfish move on my part, but I ended up joining the Sentinels and helping them eliminate the thieves to save my own hide. Stupid ol me shoulda figured that I would eventually become the same as the rest of those puppets. Thankfully a certain Golduck got me out of that life and led me to return to the thieves. Nowadays, I act as their leader and have made it even stronger then the previous king could have ever done. Can't say its the cleanest way to become the king but hey, one way or another I got what I wanted. Keheheh.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
I live in a gigantic forest known as Eden Forest or as its mostly known as, The Thieves Forest. Its a maze that many Pokemon have gotten lost in. Sometimes you'll walk around circles, and sometimes the forest will just send you right out the door. Keheh. I of course live with my other band of thieves as well.
What do you do for a living?
What does the King of Thieves do for a living? Lemme think about that for a minute...
Do you have any special abilities?
I have incredible eye sight. Nothing escapes my vision. I can even spot facial signs to see how my friends or foes are feeling in a situation... usually signals of stress and whatnot. Either way, it makes being a thief that much easier. Kehe.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
I wear a small robe around me along with a hood. Not that I need it but it makes me look alot more menacing. Helps the kids back in the city come up with more horror stories about me I suppose. Keheh. I've gotten rather fond of it.
To which social class do you belong?
I'm a thief. Who needs a social class? Keheh.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
Well uh, Fairy moves would be the obvious one. Other then that I'm a pretty flexible fella~
What does your voice sound like?
Pretty raspy. Keheh. Quite menacing too~
What do you have in your pockets?
Pockets? Hmm... *checks the sides of his legs* Nah no pockets here. Keheh, My bag does have alot of equipment in it though. A destiny Knot incase someone wants to try using Attract on me... a few berries... a few stones incase I get a craving... yup I'm pretty set.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Habits? I dunno what you're talking about. Keheheh...
Now time to bring in one of my characters from the Pokemon Odyssey series. Lyn "Guardia" Reed, leader of the Gold Tribe!
What is your full name?
Lyn Reed. But most people call me by my title, Guardia.
When and where were you born?
I'm a Gold City gal, born 2430 AFV.
Who are/were your parents?
My dad was Adam "Rey" Reed, once the leader of the Gold Tribe two spots before me... he died thirty years ago during the Silver War.
My mom was a political 'mon, as my dad always told me. She was on path to becoming one of the three Generals in charge of the Alpha Alliance. But she died from an illness when I was just a kid. I don't remember her much.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
The Gold Tribe has, and always will be my family. When you're out in the field, fighting and dying together for one single cause, there's nothing else that brings 'mon closer. Someone once said to me that we are who we are because we're the greatest team, as close as family. And it's damn true. Yeah, a little cheesy too, but say that to my face and watch what happens!
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Hmm... this is a little story about one of the greatest Gold Tribe members I ever knew, and one of my best friends. When I was a little girl, my dad took me to meet someone special. He said he would be hanging around a lot, and would one day join the Gold Tribe, just like I would always say. When I first met him as a Pawniard, the first thing I noticed was his skin color, the surprising shade of gold. It was really surreal at first, but when I got to know the 'mon himself, I completely forgot that it was ever a factor. To me, he was just the kind, caring, noble 'mon he always was, and the fierce, careful, responsible protector he became to be. But when we first me, he was so shy and awkward in front of me, it was funny! I was younger than him by about five years and kinda a brat, so I immediately bugged him and asked why he looked so funny. He eventually got used to my rash attitude, and we would start developing a fast friendship since children. I guess we even rubbed off on each other too.
But I knew ever though I was the daughter of the current leader of the Gold Tribe at the time that he was a much better fit for it then. Even if he didn't want to be, he led the Gold Tribe during the Silver War. He sacrificed everything for it and for Valkaria, ultimately he payed for it with his life. He was one of the reasons that I strive to make the Gold Tribe as honorable and transparent as it can be. Zane Tyrael was my great friend, and I will continue to make him proud.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
The Gold Tribe's official home is in Gold City, in the large tower in the center of the city. We sleep in the upper levels, while business is usually carried out in the lower levels. But due to our job, we're always moving and constantly going from place to place. In the last thirty years, that also included outside of our own borders to other nations. So I've been all over. I mostly hang out with my own people, other Gold Tribe members. Missions usually switch around between members, so I'm not often with any group in particular. But I am currently with one set: Skuld, Emerald Sentinel, Jetstream, Watchman, Atrox. I'm also with a few non-Gold Tribe members at the moment. A few Seekers, some thieves, and some non-aligned, including a really odd by somewhat charming Delphox and a really, really psychotic Ralts.
What do you do for a living?
I'm the leader of the Gold Tribe. This involves being the Alpha Alliance's official peacekeepers. We're protectors of those who can't defend themselves, and of the customs and traditions of Valkaria, our country.
Do you have any special abilities?
*Grins* The Reed family has a special ability we do with Thunder. Instead of using it as just an offensive weapon, whenever an attack is coming at us, we launch the Thunder between ourselves and the incoming attack, to act as a shield from above. Pretty effective. And it looks cool as hell too.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
Well, I'm a Zangoose, though I keep myself in pretty fit shape so I'm not as bloated as most others of my species. Call it part of the job. I also have a pretty big scar going from my eye, all the way down the side of my face, and also down to my neck and the top of my shoulder. Courtesy of the Emperor of Karn in my first visit there. Karn likes to reward the strong, so the hierarchy of leadership there turns out to be 'the strongest rule'. So listen to me when I tell ya the Emperor may very well be one of the strongest Pokemon in the world, if not the strongest.
To which social class do you belong?
I wouldn't consider the Gold Tribe in any social class necessarily. We're a private entity that isn't necessarily part of the Alpha Alliance (our country's government), but also not necessarily separate from it. We don't necessarily have a pay, as most of our funds or contributions are given to us by the Alpha Alliance or private citizens for our services.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
None I'll tell any of you! I have to keep up appearances for the rest of the tribe, after all. Although some do say that I tend to have an issue with my temper. Not as often as I did when I was younger, but it definitely still comes around.
What does your voice sound like?
Kind of like this.
What do you have in your pockets?
I don't really have pockets, but I have a belt where I keep my Gold Tribe emblem, as well as a stash for berries and other necessities.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Hmm... I guess if you consider it, one thing I do have is a deep sense of responsibility for the Gold Tribe. In our history, we've definitely had our ups and downs, so now I'm doing everything in my power to make sure ours is the best, most transparent, and honorable bunch of 'mon that ever put on the gold. I do it for those that came before us, and those that'll come after.
Beyond that, I'll be the first to admit I am biased, and have a preference for those I know and trust, especially through time. I'm less so with 'mon I don't know. So if I don't know you, or don't like you, expect me to be unfair. *Shrugs* That's just the way I am.
Thanks for the questions Adventure:
1. What would you do if you suddenly won a million pokedollars?
Duh? Buy another house far away from Cerulean and put my brother there. So i could demolish the wall between our rooms.
Will never happen.
2. How do you know who "killed" your mother?
Well... I shouldn't do it.
Let me do it OK?
Pffft... Fine. *Leaves for a while*
Well... Our mother worked as a scientist of the criminal organization Team Rocket. She discovered their plans and ditched Team Rocket. She was considered a traitor. She knew my step-mother at that time. In fact both worked together. When i turned 4, my mom and my dad told me her secret. He kept this in secret for us. But now... When she and my younger sis, if i remember, also my Stupid brother that has a Poliwhirl twin sister, were on a car, an accident happened and both died. But me and my dad reached to an conclusion. They were murdred. My brother knows that mom died and someone killed her. But he does not know who was. He still thinks that was our step-mother. But it is clear that who killed our mother and sister was Team Rocket, the ones who sabotaged the car.
Can i come in?
3. What is one pokémon you would really like to obtain one day? Or at least meet?
Well he told me...
Get out! You had your tune time. Anyway, when i was 8, i saw a Pokemon that was red and blue, had a jewel on it's body and has tentacle arms (I think).
4. What is your favorite color?
Huh? Sorry i was thinking of the Pokemon.
5. Have you been hanging out with Bill at some point? Did you get along?
Yeah! I assisted him on some certain jobs already, you know, to replace my father when he is sick or needs to miss the job as assistant. Of course that Bill has another assistant, I don't remember who is but i think her name is Daisy. Bill also tells me about rare species of Pokemon that i never saw. We are great friends, but we aren't doing things everyday. Since the Gang of Bugs appeared on the route 25, it's a danger to go to Bill's cape trough the Gang of Bugs Territory. But i have a way to not confront them.
************************************
Now some return questions to Adventure:
1. Did you had a nickname?
2. How is the life on Cherrygrove? Any nice people, crazy people, etc.
3. How is your connection with Chocolate?
4. Did you hated your sister? Not that strong kind of hate but having fights with her because of your things and her things...
5. Would you do anything to save anyone you consider special?
6. Are you good at Medicine and/or berry planting? Well you might have learned with your parents.
Megaman765 December 18th, 2014 9:06 PM
1. You seem to be a lot more understanding, agreeable and cooperative than in the past. What led to this exactly? Anything in particular?
Did a bit of a life seeking journey while working on repairing the thieves to their former glory. Traveled around the country, met so people, and even left Valkaria to vist other places. Beatruce was one of the places I was most interested in at the time so I was mostly away around there.
2. What was it like working for the Silver Tribe 30 years ago? Any members you liked more than others? Less?
I wasn't with them for that long but for what it was, we pretty much did whatever we wanted as long as it looked evil enough. Guess that's one humorous was to put it. Keheh. There was a Jolteon in that group that I spent alot of time with. She hangs out with the thieves nowadays though, often as a scout of sorts.
3. How do you like the current group you're with? Anyone you like more than others? Less?
Pretty swell bunch gotta say. A Scyther by the name of Charlie, while being a screw up recently, is definately very true to what makes us thieves and hasn't tried to stray too far off, even when I may have done so on occasion for the sake of completing a job. Our fellow Delphox mage Sylvio I've met before but he still strikes me as a mysterious fellow. Like, the sort of guy who knows more then you but keeps it to himself for the sake of getting his jollies. I dunno, he's reliable at the very least. The Floatzel Kaveri is definitely alot of fun to be around. She's part of the Gold Tribe but she has alot of potential to become a thief if she ever wanted to join our little group. But she's stuck to her Gold Tribe morals and all that so I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. Obsidian tends to remind me of a certain Golduck which isn't a good thing but at least he isn't a total psychopath and is at least interested in not following that same route. Honestly the guy thinks about stuff to much.
4. You seem to be far more ambitious than your predecessors. So what exactly is your end goal with the thieves?
What else? To get valuables, get riches, and make a living! Keheh. That's all I'll be telling you though. Spoilers~ Keheh.
5. Why did you want to become a thief in the first place? Were you raised in the life, born in it, or chose it?
Pretty sure I was raised to become a thief. You can't get this good in a day ya know. Keheh. Alot of my tactics are self taught though. I'd go out on my own and do usual thief stuff on occasion. I was a pretty subtle fella if you can believe that.
Questions from Megaman765 for Guardia:
1. Are you satisfied with how the Gold Tribe has turned out?
As much as I hate to admit it, nothing is perfect in our world. But damn it if I haven't tried to make the Gold Tribe as perfect as it can be. Sometimes, that even meant rejecting candidates who had the fighting stuff, or had the brains. Even if there was a shred of doubt, sometimes that's all it would take to reject. We've never had fewer members during a long period of peace. But our members have also never been closer, I feel.
2. Opinions on the leaders of the other factions and how they run things?
The other factions, huh? Let's go down the list, I guess. Penance is insane. Absolutely crazy. I never liked him. Probably ever. Not even when he was with the Gold Tribe for the short time I knew him there. He was already at the point of a complete breakdown shortly after we met. Then all the insanity started happening. But... I can't also deny that his plans have saved a lot of lives. If age and time has taught me anything, it's patience and understanding... I guess. He knows the enemy, he wants to defeat the enemy almost as bad as the rest of us, and deep down, he cares for his country and the 'mon that follow him. So I know that while I don't like him and probably never will, I can trust him to do the right thing when the times come.
Hanso has always been a good friend, from his days with the Gold Tribe to after when he wandered, and into his days with SEC. He's always kept that Gold Tribe mindset even beyond his days with us. I trust him, respect him. He can be reckless on occasions like me, but he's gotten better with it too. *smirks*
Snype's an unknown factor. I mean, from when we first met briefly way back in the Thieves Forest, he rubbed me the wrong way. I guess any thief would. Then he went and had his whole thing with the Silver Tribe. But recently, he's just been like a pancake. At times, he'll be mature and looking straight at the task at hand, like any other normal citizen. At others, you could see the true King of Thieves and his ambitions emerge. One day, I think he's going to have to figure out what's more important to him. To figure out who he really is... because he's too damn likable for me to have to take down!
3. Any love interests currently or in the past?
Nah, no way! I'm too busy trying to run the Gold Tribe to have time for that. Maybe once a long time ago... in a different life, a good friend and I could have become more. But that was a silly dream in a world that doesn't exist anymore.
Currently? No. What? Don't stare at me like that! There's no one! I'm too damn busy trying to save the world to deal with that now!
4. What you do for fun if you have any free time?
*sighs* I wish I had free time to spare. But when I do, I love running through the forests. More specifically, running through the thick trees and coming up the tough branches to the very top, where I'll sit and watch the sea of green leaves be caught in the breeze... it's nice. I always loved the forests.
5, Is there anything you've always wanted to do your whole life but never had the opportunity to try it?
Hmm... I do like to fight, but every once in a while, I'd wanna try something pretty cool that doesn't involve fighting. Something intense, but without harm to others. I had this cool idea where I'm flying on the back of some flying pokemon, and all of a sudden I jump off his back and just fall down to the earth below. I'd have something on my back, maybe a smaller flying Pokemon or some cushion of some sort to glide me down. That would be pretty cool, I think. Like diving in the sky. Heh, that's not a bad name.
For Snype!
So are you and Kav a thing or is that just to piss off her brother?
Can you share a story from your earlier thieving days?
Do you prefer to simply steal, or do you like to fight as well?
In a different life, what would you want your profession to be?
Someone approaches you and offers you a complete opt-out from your current situation, no strings attached. You'd have all the gold and jewels you ever want, and anything else material you might want, with the one price of you abandoning your quest and never setting foot in this part of the world again. Would you take it?
Nakuzami December 20th, 2014 3:26 PM
Guardia!
What's your idea of a great society? You must have some idea of where you'd like things to head if you defeat Darkrai.
If you didn't have all these disasters to deal with, where do you think you'd be? What would you want to be doing?
If you had kids, how would you raise them? Would you train them as initiates for the Gold Tribe, or would you want to get them away from all of the strife?
Who or what do you think has had the greatest influence on your development? In fashioning the morals by which you currently abide? Have you ever had to throw your personal morals aside for some "greater good?"
How about that Zai? She's pretty awesome, right?
What is your full name?
The name's Jones. Andrea Jones. I suppose you could call me AJ, or Andy, or Dré, or Jo, or JoJo, but you should probably stick with Andrea if you value your life.
When and where were you born?
I was born on November 14th, 1998—which, in case you're not exactly in touch with the times, makes me nineteen—in Shalour City, Kalos.
Who are/were your parents?
My father's name is Adrian and my mother's is Cora. They're pretty average people, I guess. My mother used to be a Pokémon Ranger. She's still associated with the Ranger Union, but she's mostly retired. Sometimes she goes off to assist with certain issues or make an appearance at one of the Ranger schools. My father used to be a Pokémon Contestant. He was rather popular, and he's served as a Judge for a few contests over the last few years.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
My family isn't very large. My mother was an only child, and so am I. I have an uncle on my dad's side, and he and his husband have two kids a little younger than me. My grandparents are all alive and well, but that's pretty much it, since I don't really see my extended family all that often, though I sometimes visit my great aunt on my mother's side.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Well, there was that one time in Lumiose when I stole a dozen Luxury Balls before trampling a rather confused Professor Sycamore. That was the day the old guy changed my life, I guess. Of course, the first thing he did was make me return the Luxury Balls to the Poké Ball Boutique and apologize to them. He's kind of annoying like that.
Anyways, after I got reprimanded and whatnot, Sycamore gave me a few . . . aptitude tests, I guess you could call them. He tested my knowledge on Pokémon rather extensively, before he observed how I generally interact with them. I get along with them a lot better than I do people so I passed that portion with flying colors, I would think. After a few days he gave me an offer: take a Pokemon and travel with it, train it, and just be my awesome self, I guess. I accepted, which is how I got Oliver, who was a Treecko at the time. It wasn't until a few years later that he told me exactly why he'd given me Oliver. Now I know that it was to assist in his studies on Mega Evolution.
Where do you live, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
I have an apartment over in Lumiose, though most of the time I'm traveling around Kalos. Other than my Pokémon, I live alone. Not much incentive to find a roommate, I suppose, especially when I can't really fit my Pokemon in that tiny little apartment as it is. You realize how big Slaking are? The answer is "huge." Well, okay, I've seen a few people almost as large as Slaking, certainly some that are heavier, but he still takes up a lot of room. My Reuniclus is small enough to go wherever, and my Noivern and Sceptile can maneuver themselves pretty well, but Slaking . . . heh, I love the big palooka regardless.
What do you do for a living?
I'm a Pokémon Trainer, for the most part. I also assist Professor Sycamore with his research on Mega Evolution, but I don't actually get paid for that.
Do you have any special abilities?
Aside from just being totally awesome? Well, I guess it's kind of interesting that I can mega evolve my Sceptile. Not many people have access to mega evolution. Perks of working for one of the most famous scientists in the Kalos Region. I'm also quite the acrobat. Parkour is a fun pastime.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
I'm five feet eight inches of pure elegance. You see these muscles? I'm one hundred and seventy pounds, but I guarantee you none of that is body fat. Taking an interest in gymnastics and parkour has really helped me tone my already gorgeous body. My raven hair is pretty stylish, cut short in the back with the bangs reaching down to my chin, so they usually cover my left eye. My eyes are a brilliant green, and my clothes are damn fantastic. I have this awesome pink shirt that covers half my torso and has these long, butterfly-style sleeves. I wear a black tank top under that most of the time, and I like to wear denim shorts. My striped over the knee socks are adorable, with the one on my right leg alternating black and magenta and the one on my left being black and a kind of navy blue. I have these kick-ass black leather boots that go up to my mid-calf, and I wear my keystone as a pretty fabulous dangle earring on my right ear.
To which social class do you belong?
I see myself as either an Ace Trainer, or a Cool Trainer, or maybe even a Beauty. Wait, you meant, like, financially? Oh. Um, I guess I'd be somewhere in the middle class, then? I don't really pay attention to those kinds of things, to be honest. Though I guess that proves that I've grown up at least somewhat well off, since it's something I take for granted. But it's not like life as a Pokémon Trainer nets me a lot of cash. I just don't care that much, so long as I have the means to enjoy life.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
No allergies, and I'm certainly not diseased. Overall I'm in great physical condition. I don't have the time to sit around and deteriorate.
What does your voice sound like?
I'm an alto. If you're not all that musically inclined, that basically means my voice is on the deeper end. I have some sweet vocal cords, if I do say so myself. Think Jennifer Lawrence singing "The Hanging Tree." Of course, my voice isn't exactly like that: I guess it's a bit more cynical, and I'd like to think it's a little smoother as well.
What do you have in your pockets?
Have you seen the way female clothing is designed? See these pockets right here? They're not even really pockets. There just there for design or something. Completely useless. Very annoying. So, my answer is nothing. I have nothing in my pockets, because I have no room to carry anything in my pockets. Now, if we're talkin' about my backpack, then I suppose we could find some fun items, like a tent, sleeping bag, and some food.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Annoying? No. Well, I guess I sometimes steal things, which can be annoying to the original owners. Some people call me arrogant, though I have no idea why they would think that. Does intense sarcasm count as a quirk? I'm thinking about majoring in it when I go to college.
Megaman765 December 20th, 2014 7:16 PM
So are you and Kav a thing or is that just to piss off her brother?
Kehehe, why? You a jealous admirer? Keheh. I doubt her brother is to bothered by it honestly. Everyone else though seems to be quite convinced that we're dating. Keheh. Where will this little prank lead to? Well we'll just have to see eh~? Kehe... Don't tell anyone though~ For your sake anyways. Kehe...
Can you share a story from your earlier thieving days?
Gonna have to dig way back for this one. Kehe. Sometimes whenever I was in the forest, I'd pull pranks on plenty of the thieves or other folks who decided to take a trip through the forest. Depending on if they got lost or not, I'd always have a fun little prank planned out. Either I'd set up some small rope traps to send them flying, set up pitfalls, or I'd simply spook them out of their pants... well if most of us had them anyways. Keheh. Their reactions were golden. I still love to do that to any newbies thieves that join our ranks! Its a bit of training to teach them to always be aware of anything around you. Ya never know when someone will pop up from above and shank you... or draw funny stuff on your face!
Do you prefer to simply steal, or do you like to fight as well?
A real thief shouldn't have to get into a scuffle when he's stealing the goods, but if we have to fight, we do what we gotta do. Personally, I do enjoy that kind of thrill. I fight dirty, unfair, but I still have plenty of flair to my fighting style I'd think. I usually don't get to test it out on enemies though cause by then I've made my getaway! Keheh.
In a different life, what would you want your profession to be?
Mmmmm... Maybe an artist... wait, no thumbs. Uhh...oh! Leader of the Gold Tribe! Ohhh that'd be fun! And Guardia could be the Queen of thieves, Hanso could be the crazy guy running the seekers, and Penance could run SEC! That'd be pretty twisted eh? Keheh!
Someone approaches you and offers you a complete opt-out from your current situation, no strings attached. You'd have all the gold and jewels you ever want, and anything else material you might want, with the one price of you abandoning your quest and never setting foot in this part of the world again. Would you take it?
Oh pleaaasssee. I'd get bored if I took that offer! Yeah I'd e the richest Sableye in Valkariya but it wouldn't be rewarding and I'd be left with nothing to do but laze about in the forest! If I want something, I'll just go steal it myself. I don't need some schmuck doing my job unless its a fellow thief. Kehe
Questions for Guardia
1. Any personal hobbies?
2. You mentioned Snype being "too damn likable". What if it that you like about him?
3.What if the thieves didn't exsist? What would change?
4. Are you ticklish?
5. If you could be any other species other then a Zangoose, what would you be? Legendaries included.
Synthet December 23rd, 2014 2:41 AM
1. What's your dorm like?
It's alright I guess, I don't spend a whole lotta time there. It's the "middle" dorm - not for the dunces and not for the genius'. Sometimes I think we're the dorm people think the least of, y'know? Like, the top dorm is supposed to have all the best Trainers - so they have that. And the bottom dorm is meant to be full of people who only just made it into the school, but people keep an eye out for success stories like Mark. We sorta get lost in the middle.
2. Ever had a love interest?
Not really. Some of the passengers kids used to hit on me sometimes, lookin' for a holiday romance or whatever. But what's the point if they're just gonna leave at the next port?
3. What do you think an alternate universe version of yourself would be like?
Uh, I dunno. Depends on the universe I guess? I really don't know.
4. What are your future goals?
Right now I wanna cream Mark in a Pokemon battle. And I'm not talking "Oh hey, good battle, it was a close one!" I'm talking about a hands down victory - I feel like he doesn't really take me seriously as a Trainer after he beat me so badly when I first got here. After that, I... I've not really thought about it. I came to the Academy to try and get a bit of a "normal" life, y'know? And who wants to go to a regular school when there's one just for Trainers? But I've really started to love what I'm doing. Me, my Pokemon... I like the whole thing. For now that's enough. Maybe it always will be.
5. What's one embarrassing situation that you can recall from the top of your head?
Uh. I don't get embarrassed too much. But there was that time I ditched out when the cops turned up at the power plant - I felt lousy about that. And the whole thing with the raid on the base and Beeheeyem, that wasn't a cake walk for the old emotions.
2. What Pokemon do your parents have?
Alrighty! Answering questions for my devilish friend, Sylvio.
From Turnip:
1. Are there any of these 'useful', 'foolish' and/or 'dangerous' people you'd like to go into more detail about?
Oh, should I? Mueheh... I suppose there is no harm, is there? Whoever is so lucky as to delve into deeper thoughts of mine, that I would not ever think of speaking out loud under normal circumstances?
Ah, but I digress. I can tell you from an objective view who is what. This Scyther fellow that we brought to our mission - by mistake, I am sure - he, is rather foolish. His name is Charlie, if memory serves right, but I I would call him Miscreant. He dragged one of the members of our group to raid to the royal palace - the royal palace! The two of them, alone. As if a mission of that magnitude was a walk in the woods. Of course, the two almost got caught, and they rendered the Knights inside the palace suspicious. The group will never have the chance of sneaking into the palace unnoticed again, all thanks to this Charlie fellow who speaks like a common farmer and most probably shares the intellect of one. Of course, I say not a thing about any of this - who is Sylvio to judge! When a show is given in front of you, you clap at the end of it. No decent gentleman throws tomatoes.
I like Snype, the so-called King of Thieves, and I admire him - I should probably tell him that, he would love to hear it, I am sure. He is easy to get along with, easy to handle... perhaps we could even be friends. Who knows! He is a charming fellow, that much I know. I would have him work for me, some time.
Guardia. She is a dangerous one. She thinks she can mix a politician and a Gold Tribesman into one person, but you simply cannot. Their honor drags them all down.
Obsidian is a useful fellow... I have bright plans for him. He is still young and untried, though he has understood the theory very well. My favorite kind of student!
2. How do you feel about the other factions? Any you particularly prefer over the others?
I've always felt a deeper connection to the thieves. I almost joined them one summer! That summer, I had met Snype in Beatruce - I was taking the summer break from the College of War, and well, you could say I was in need of some gold. We raided some places, we stopped some carriages, and it paid off well, and we had lots of fun.
What would be a great duelist of Karn, graduate from the College of War in Beatruce, be doing with that lot, you say? The answer is simple... I embrace the true nature of things. Things like gold, pretty rocks, or objects of value. They do not belong to anyone. Possession is an illusion! In the physical world, illusions of the mind do not matter. So I do not concern myself with them. And, if it shines to my eye, I take it.
That is precisely why I am not fond of the Gold Tribe. They are only fooling themselves with their ideals. The reality of things is much different than they approach it. But, their efforts are admirable. One should applaud devotion and loyalty, even if those are wasted on a doctrine that seeks to create tools, despite its talk of freedom and liberty.
I have not quite been in much contact with the other factions just yet!
3. What would you do if you lost access to your Magic Room for a week?
I would try to regain access, foolish young man.
4. Why can't you tell us your full name?
Because I welcome you to figure it out for yourselves!
5. Have you ever considered settling down anywhere?
I have, as a matter of fact, but it is nothing but a distant dream, I fear. A man such as myself has responsibilities... and ambitions.
From the Charred Mecha Dragon Zero:
1. Do you actually conjure up spells? If so, what kinds do you know?
I am a Delphox, sweet child, and what do wizard Delphox do? They drown their foes in mazes of hellish flames, they snap and break their bones with the power of the mind, they predict future attacks that appear out of nowhere and devastate anything that happens to be standing in the way!
2. Has anyone ever flirted with you?
Of course they have! Fun times!
3. Have you ever felt awkward or uncomfortable in your life?
I have, when I was very, very young, but I would rather not go into details. It is a long story that ends in death.
4. Do you think you'd be a match against a Legendary Pokémon?
Sylvio, a match for legendary Pokemon! Ahahaha! Of course I am... as long as they don't know it.
5. Do you think you'd be able to face an insane mother Delphox defending her child?
It would depend on the circumstances, dear. I am not a man to rush head-first into action.
6. I can't tell, are you wearing clothes?
Sometimes, I am.
7. If you are wearing clothes, have you considered wearing a wizard hat?
I do wear a wizard hat, when I am at Beatruce! The wizard's hat is my signature there.
8. Lastly, what do you think of machines?
Machines? Lady! Sylvio has no need for such things.
Megaman765 December 23rd, 2014 7:06 PM
Questions for Mark Wilson.
1. If you had to give up being a Trainer what would you do instead?
I'd probobly go on to be a teacher, to at least teach others the things I learned as a trainer. I think that'd be the most realistic scenario I'd take if that happened.
2. What Pokemon do your parents have?
I didn't mention this before, but two of my Pokemon once belonged to my parents. Len, my Poliwraith belonged to my mother while Commodore, my Porygon belonged to my dad. My dad wasn't too big of a trainer but my mom sure knew what she was doing! I remember she had an Azumarill named Buster and a Roserade named Domino on her team. She had alot more but those were the two most stand out members that she had and I believe she still has them on her side to protect herself just incase. She may be retired as a trainer but that doesn't mean she forgot how to be a darn good one!
3. What is your greatest weakness as a Trainer?
I tend to overplan things or other think what my opponent is going to have their Pokemon do. Another weakness would probably be my overconfidence at points, especially when I come up with some brand new strategy or something but I've hopefully been getting a little better at that... but just you wait till the tournament though!
4. Who do you most respect?
When I arrived to the school, A girl by the name of Valorie Ryder was a trainer I looked up to while I was starting out. I kinda set a goal for myself to go against her in a battle and eventually stand a chance against her team. I was able to win one match in a one on one and she kinda took it a bit personally... that really hit me hard so nowadays I'm not sure. I still think she's a real force to be reckoned with though but guess we'll have to see at the tournament who the top trainer is huh?
Besides Valorie, I really looked up to my mom as a trainer. She taught me a few basics before I made it to school and after I'm finished, I wouldn't mind having a battle with her.
5. If you could learn to use a Pokemon move, which move and why?
I'd want to learn how to use Detect. Think about it. A temporary moment where your senses are increased to their maximum potential. I could do some really darn cool stuff with that! If someone were to attack me from behind I could just step to the side and counter attack! I always found it impressive whenever Snype used the move.
Questions for Sammy
1. What is it about Mark that makes you want to take him down so badly compared to any other trainer? Other then the fact that he beat you in a battle once?
2. Favorite Pokemon type?
3. Are there any other trainers that you'd consider as huge competition?
4. What kind of profession would you like to take on?
5. Do you have anybody that you admire as well?
Yay! Questions to answer! 8D
Frozen: I'm the one answering, imbecile...
1. Pardon me saying, but, you seem anti social, or introverted, at least. Has that helped you in coping with your life?
Anti social? Well... It's more like I don't find this worth my time. But that really depends... But I am more inbetween really. Somewhat...
2. Your past seems to weigh upon you. Would you please tell us what it is you have been through? We won't tell anyone - you can open your heart to us.
Tell anyone? *chuckles* Tell anyone? Well, if you insist. *he says with a malevolent smile* I killed my entire village, and my best friends, all because of existing. That is something I will never forget. *he finishes with a snarl*
3. What is your happiest memory?
*frowns* Happiest memory? *looks to the distance with a nostalgic look in his eyes* Well... There was this one time, during my time as the advisor of education, I was on my break Alishya... *sighs* She and Haywire were tending to children while I rested. I came out of my room and went to the classroom, there Alishya was talking a little child, a halfbreed, like me. The child was a dog halfbreed of the beagle breed. The child looked up to Alishya, after Alishya finished reading to him a story, something about a prince saving a long haired girl, I think, and asks, "Do you have a prince, Miss Ally?"
I saw Alishya was surprised for a moment before beaming a smile, the happiest one I've ever seen from her. Then she answered, "Yes, I do. But he's not really a prince like in the the story. But he has the heart of one."
"Who is it?"
Alishya closed the book and picked up the little boy. "Do you remember Mister Isaac? Well, he's the one."
"Really?" the young one asked, and Alishya nodded. "I hope you two live happily ever after."
Alishya chuckled and that's when I fainted. Yes, I really did faint. I just couldn't believe it. Although I do realize she might mean something else by "prince." Still...
4. So, are you a lizard beastman like your father? Do you feel ashamed, belonging to such a race?
No, I am a halfbreed. As the name suggests, half beastman, half human. Ashamed? Well, before, I would immediately say "no" but... As much as I don't mind my heritage, a part of me wishes I wasn't what I am, then maybe I wouldn't be in agony...
5. What exactly is that which you call an "experimentation vial?" It seems shady...
Hmph. *shrugs* If you insist. It's a vial containing my demon, Garuyel.
6. Why do you like to be called Frozen?
Because I don't want to be reminded of what I did.
--------------
Questions for Slyvio! Again!
1. Have you dabbled in any occult?
2. Have you ever tried eating ice cream?
3. Is there anything you consider adorable?
4. Mind telling us who was the most memorable Pokémon to have flirted with you?
5. Do you have a doctor?
6. Do you listen to music?
7. Have you tried using your magic for pranks?
To Blue Verebess
What is your spirit like?
Do you like to fight?
Are you trustworthy and dedicated?
What are you afraid of, and has it ever (or will ever stop you?
Ever given up before? why?
(SAO RP)
What is your full name? Call me Kai Fei
When and where were you born? I was born March 3rd, 22 years ago, in Paris (Family wanted their baby to be born there, we actually live in New York)
Who are/were your parents? They're a couple of rich stiffs who probably wanted a less exciting kid. Too bad for them though, I made sure to keep everything nice and exciting. I haven't really had much contact with them in four years, so who knows what the hell they're doing now.
Do you have any family other than your parents? I got extended family that my parents don't acknowledge, probably because they're always begging. Honestly, my real family is my friends, those guys are great. Not a single one would run from a fight, I'd trust them with my life in a heartbeat.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us? First fight I got in was back in third grade. About four rotten cowards were ganging up on a tiny fellow. I think the kids were in fourth grade at the time. Anyways, I didn't hesitate to defend the little runt. needless to say, I got a few scrapes, and a broken arm to go with my suspension from school, but I didn't go out without breaking one of the kid's noses and knocking another out cold. This fight has never left me, because it was the first time I actually felt alive.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people. I live alone, though by now I'm probably in a hospital bed with a bunch of other suckers who were tricked into this virtual reality game.
What do you do for a living? Last few months? I run a guild and do personal jobs for items in game. Back before I got trapped, I work as a manager at a McDonalds. I've been given awards for my effectiveness, but all I do is encourage people to work as hard as I do, I don't hire slackers. I'm sure the establishment is fine despite my absence, I trust my workers are holding out.
Do you have any special abilities? I was born with a great face, smile, and a ton of energy! If I'm not the brightest person you've met, then I'll try harder. Oh, and I tend to become extremely focused on tasks, like dangerously focused. A fight against me could go sour in a few minutes if you get me pumped enough, I've broken my fist in a fight before by missing and punching the ground, needless to say, it only got worse as I pummeled the guy with my broken and unbroken fist.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things. Well I'm about 5"11, black hair, brown eyes, and I'm half white, half Asian. I look a lot younger than 22, though I carry myself with plenty of respect and confidence, so nobody has ever called me out on looking like a teenager (except those cursed bartenders who card me all the freaking time). I got scars yeah, on my fists and arms mostly. I have a full back tat of the sun, but it isn't shown unless I'm shirtless.
Clothing tends to be whatever my stylish friend suggests, she is a clothing genius. She could put me in all pink and I would trust her haha.
To which social class do you belong? Definitely lower class. My parents can be as rich as they want, I won't take a dime from them.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses? Well, some of my bones are weaker than they should be from constant fights. Ever since I moved out, I've taken medication to reduce my spirit a bit so I don't hurt myself or get in trouble.
What does your voice sound like? A loud and commanding tenor.
What do you have in your pockets? Hopefully my wallet and phone is still sitting in my pockets when I wake up.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I can get too tunnel visioned, and I am also very easy to excite. I'm directly banned from several bars due to fights because I missed a day or two of medication.
People tell me I'm sweet, and I guess that's true because I'm easily moved by the misfortune of others. I'm a protector, as I feel the need to save those who are in danger and when doing so, forget my own fears.
2. Do I like to fight? Yeah, I do. If you're talking about pokemon battles, then I'm always ready to go, I intend to battle for the rest of my life. Do I personally like to fight? I don't really like or dislike it, but I'm always willing to join in the fray if something I believe in is at stake. When encountering Rockets, I sometimes threw myself at them.
3. Am I trustworthy and dedicated? For the most part. When it comes to something I'm passionate about, I'm always dedicated. When it comes to secrets, you can always trust me to keep one. When I say I'll do something, I'll always do it. I never lie, even if the truth will hurt, so you can always trust me with the truth. Now when it comes to chores, schoolwork, and other things I don't want to do...I admit, I can slack off a bit. I won't blow the job off completely, but I am prone to getting distracted and therefore can take a while to get stuff done.
4. I'm scared of heights. Thankfully I've never really had to deal with them on my journey. I have, however, faced this fear before through activities like pushing myself to the top in indoor rock climbing, and I even agreed to go on a ride with my friend that strapped a harness around your body, raised you about 150 feet into the air, and then dropped you, letting you swing. So if I can face heights for the sake of achieving a goal or satisfying a friend, then I could probably do it for a goal I was passionate about.
5. Yes, I have given up before. After that trainer from Johto, Ethan, beat me. I was depressed for a few weeks after and didn't see the point of continuing my journey. I mean, after 3-years of training and winning battle after battle, I was beaten by someone whose pokemon had less experience than mine. I felt like a failure as a trainer, even though I'd done the best I could. What did the fact that my best wasn't enough say about me? Meanwhile Green returned back to Pallet from the Sinnoh region and came to my house to see how his rival was doing and how they compared. I hadn't told my Mom about my feelings, so she told him she would get me and he waited outside. I went out and as we talked, I pretended nothing was wrong, though eventually got to mentioning that I wasn't sure I wanted to keep training anymore. He asked me why not, and honestly sounded a little mad. I admitted to him that I lost to another trainer and how I felt about it. He told me that was weak and that he couldn't stand for the only person who'd ever outmatched him to give up. He told me that after he lost the championship to me, he didn't give up, so why am I? I knew he was right. So I decided I would always try to be the very best pokemon trainer for as long as I live, no matter how many times I may be defeated.
Please note that the rules of this thread state that you need to ask someone else 5 questions each time you post a reply of your own. It's about time to ask away now!
Questions for Blue Verebess (p!kachu):
1) Your mother named you after the fluid that all life in the world of Pokemon depends on. Do you feel you've lived up to her expectations, surpassed them, or...?
2) If you weren't such an impressive trainer, what would you be doing with your life?
3) If you had to replace one member of your team with a Dunspace, which would you replace, and what would you nickname the Dunsparce?
4) Have you made any good rivals or companions on your escapades?
5) What would you say has been your most difficult battle, aside from the battle with Ethan?
Answers for SV from Isak:
1. What made you develop the method you did for testing the people you trust?
Well, I don't really have a specific method, to be completely honest. It's usually more of a spur-of-the-moment thing, and it could be anything from simply moving around someones stuff, to maybe a water-filled balloon in a doorway. We don't really have the time for petty games at the moment, though.
2. Are there any among the Gold Tribe you trust more than others? Less than others?
Most of the Gold Tribe I knew is... erm... dead.
Uhanywayyeah, there are a couple I trust more than others. I grew up around Garland in Amoon, so he's definitely up there. There is Beryl. Also, this Pawniard named... Tavhir? We were in Exanthian History back in the ECUL. Cool guy, albeit a bit moody. He needs to relax a bit. Maybe he should take a nap?
3. What do you think about the current state of affairs in Exathor?
I am not a "big picture" kind of Pokemon. I tend to stick with the essentials like what orders I have to follow. That means I'm still not caught up on the particulars before me and Beryl arrived in Amoon. Cyrus is a nice enough guy from what I've heard, but, right now, I'm focused on my headache...
Ow.
It's not as bad now as it was during the march, but I have really been regretting jumping off that airship for a while, now...
4. You're given a free pass to suddenly leave Exathor behind and the (presumably) impending destruction heading your way. No strings attached, no sacrifices to yourself personally. Would you take it?
Hell no. Exathor my home. I have a duty to my family, my friends, my village... If you tried to force me to leave, I'd conk you right between the eyes before getting right back to work.
5. Can you describe your ideal day?
A nice, chilly day out in the forests around Amoon. If you had grown up there like I did, you would probably know what I mean. Cold tolerance is a must, there.
And, Introducing Beryl Ibha!
What is your full name?
Beryl of the Ibha pack. Officially, Beryl "Steamroller" Ibha. Please refer to me as Beryl from this point onward.
When and where were you born?
My mother, a fine older Donphan, bore me somewhere out in the desert surrounding Pyrgos many moons ago. The exact location is not important, and I will probably never know. I don't consider it as vital of information as the exact situation unfolding in Exathor.
Who are/were your parents?
Truly, my entire pack growing up. My mother, Lamilla, obviously played a significant role as well. She was the matriarch of the pack, and she was the one who made the ultimate decision to stop roving around the desert and settle down in Pyrgos.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
My pack is rather large, so it would be very hard to list them all. I have many relatives, uncles, aunts, sisters and brothers. Also of note were my many instructors at the Exanthian College of Union and Liberty, as they all played some role in shaping me, even though I might have left a few bruises on them in return.
Beryl laughs at the happy memories of her younger years.
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
There are many memories I could share, truly. Many good, many bad. None of them especially come to mind, though.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
The Gold Tribe is currently stationed in the White Citadel, preparing for whatever threat will pop up next. A lot of familiar faces here. The Floatzel Garland, the Shiftry Ambrose, the Primeape Demetrus, the Buneary Isak... there's also these two Pokemon, a Poliwhirl and a Blaziken, that I'm really having trouble with. The Blaziken, Alphus, is apparently some big-name artist, and he has this sycophantic Poliwhirl, Dean, who follows him around, shirking his duties whenever he sees fit.
...He makes me want to smash a wall. It's an urge which is hard to resist.
There is also the Emperor's shields, a large group of Doublade and Aegislash, and a number of nobles. And possibly some assassins in our midst. Dean and I were just about to get back to sweeping the castle, to root out any threats to these members of nobility.
When I get a chance, I hope to retire to my dwelling in Union City until I am needed by the Emperor again.
What do you do for a living?
I live to serve the whims of the Emperor, and to defend the land of Exathor from any threats to it, from the inside and out. Wherever this war takes me, that is where I go. I am his sword... er, hammer. Yes, that is definitely more fitting.
Do you have any special abilities?
Slamming myself into obstacles at full speed. Precision strikes while rolling at impressive speeds. Other than that, not really. As a species, we Donphan tend to have far greater physical endurance and memory than other Pokemon, but that is not really "special". Of course, my many years of combat experience has helped me become further durable.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
My appearance? I am a well-worn Donphan. Broken tusk, battle scars, the works. The most distinguishing thing on my person would be the golden bangle I have tightly lodged on my remaining left tusk.
To which social class do you belong?
I belong to the Gold Tribe, a social class in and of itself. We are the Emperor's weapon, and are compensated as such.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
If I told you that, how would I know that this information would not be used against me in some fashion? I guess I can say that I don't particularly enjoy negotiating with Pokemon with over-inflated egos.
What does your voice sound like?
It's deep. I can't really describe it. You'd have to hear me for yourself.
What do you have in your pockets?
I don't have pockets. I also rarely carry anything with me, as it probably would not last long while I roll around.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
I've been told I can be a, ahem, hard-ass, and be overtly strict even when there is not anything of concern going on. This is probably because I believe in keeping a tight regimen when possible, and abhor slacking off of duty. When I get really frustrated, I make good use of my trunk. To any soldiers that get out line: You have been warned.
1. What would you say is the most difficult thing you have ever had to do?
2. If you had to swap lives/bodies with one person in the whole group, who would it be, what would you do and why?
SUPER LEGITIMATE bonus question for all three:
6. What'cha think of Raz? :P
Answers from Raz:
1. Well, now that you've brought measurements up, what is you preferred system of measurement? The metric system or the imperial system?
Either of those, yes. Prick.
2. Being a Psychic-type, you can of course lift things with your psychic powers. Could you also use your psychic abilities to fly?
Hmph, who do you think I am, an amateur? Levitating oneself is simple enough, so yes, I can. Frankly, I prefer to launch myself around the battlefield with measured blasts of whatever energy comes to mind. It's a fairly useful tactic; doesn't require nearly as much energy as levitation to get the same results, and can be combined with blowing up whatever so happens to be in the opposite direction of where you want to go. It's quite destructive and wonderful as such, and not that difficult when you're a 'mon of my, erm... well, let's just say that there are some benefits to being a Ralts, and leave it at that. *Aghem*, size, *aghem*.
3. What's with all the berries? Can I have one?
If you never ask me about it again, go right a-f*cking head.
4. Assuming you have a to-kill list, who is at the top of the list? Besides Darkrai.
Pff- I don't need a 'to-kill' list, because everyone I really want dead is either already obliterated, or I'm in the process of killing them! Although... actually, now that I think about it, with my current behavioural sanctions it could be something to invest in. Hah! Would you look at that, you aren't so useless after all! Good suggestion. Evil suggestion, rather. I'd say, besides Darkrai, probably one of his lieutenants or something. I'm fairly straightforward in who I want dead, you know.
5. Are there any among the group who you wouldn't mind having as an accomplice?
Any of them, really, so long as they stop behaving like the annoying, pitiful bastards they are. That only goes for some of the group, of course - Snype, for instance, has already been drafted into my minionship. He's a fine accomplice as far as I'm concerned. Adept at ice-cream location. Quite the charismatic fellow, too, so probably good to have on-hand whenever anyone wants to force any kind of diplomatic crap. Probably helps that he shares my vertical challenges - always nice to have another to rally to the cause, honestly, adjustable seats aren't that bloody difficult to make.
Answers from Pendro:
1. Did you get your stuttering because you're fearful? Or a glitch in your programming?
Erm, a, uh... a what? I- erm, really, it's probably because of my general nervous disposition - if you consider that 'fearful', then by all means then that's the reason, erm- seriously? A 'glitch in my programming'? Just because I'm made of metal, it doesn't make me a machine. I'm just as sentient as the next 'mon, thank you very much...
2. What do you usually do in a fight?
I think I... I... I'm really not sure what I do, I... probably something, but it's really quite blurry. I don't think I can really, erm... think straight.
3. What are your favorite books?
Uh... if I were to say 'all of them', would you believe me?
4. When do you usually read?
Whenever I get the chance.
5. How often do you go to the battlefield? If any.
Erm... far more often than I'd like, especially seeing as we're in the middle of a war and a possible apocalypse...
6. Do you have any enemies?
Erm... none that know me as an individual, I don't think. I hope not, at least... mostly, my enemies are just Thrace and the Crimson Crusade. Or in general, anyone who wants to kill me or someone I like.
7. Has anyone accidently fallen on you?
I, er... yes, actually. Back in Alamagna, during the siege, a couple of Meowstic dropped down from the ladder on the battlements... Jacob and Sophia, I think. Frightened the living daylights out of me.
8. Did you have a best friend growing up?
I, erm... do you count inanimate objects?
9. What happened when you were kidnapped?
Erm, long story. In short, after taking a Dark Pulse from Yveltal, I was left in a bit of a bad state. 'Faery' of the Gold Tribe was assigned to carry me where I needed to go, and... well, it, erm, didn't end up being where I actually needed to go. I-it was, erm... very tiring, not much time for rest which I think I probably needed. Couldn't really get out of it because I was pretty much crippled. Not a great experience.
10. What's your favorite game to play?
The one where I get to read and drink tea.
11. Why are you so shy?
Erm... I'm looking into it. Probably the general result of inherited traits and experience, as everything is - though I'll let you know if anything else comes up and I become far more adept at understanding the deepest inner-workings of Pokémon psyche. Or, erm... well, I'm not actually sure how I would let you know about it, but it's the thought that counts, I suppose. Sorry.
12. What is life like in the Gold Tribe?
Not quite as comfortable as I'd understand it being in peacetime... being only fairly recently recruited into active service, all I've really know of Gold Tribe life is a rebellion and a destructive crusade. What I assume is the worst of it, basically... or I hope it is, at least, Arceus forbid there's worse to come. It's at times very stressful, and very, very frightening, but... I suppose a lot of it has been a learning experience. It's also, erm, forced me to be somewhat social, which has been, uh... much the same. Truthfully, it's seemed very difficult, but under these circumstances and facing the threat of impending doom, I'm not sure there's anywhere else I'd rather be. For better or worse.
1. Who is your favorite Gold Tribesman besides yourself?
2. Who do you absolutely not trust out of the 'mon closest to you over these past few events?
3. What is your opinion on the current state of Exathor?
4. Would you consider yourself popular among the others given your personality?
5. You're given a free pass to suddenly leave Exathor behind and the (presumably) impending destruction heading your way. No strings attached, no sacrifices to yourself personally. Would you take it?
6. There is an end coming soon. To Exathor, Thrace, the Gold Tribe, Stygia, Hesperia, who knows? What do you hope to accomplish? What do you hope to preserve?
Questions for Andrea Jones!
1. What did you learn about Mega Evolution so far that you could say?
2. Why do you steal sometimes? What caused that?
3. Any interesting tales in your travels so far?
4. What's Oliver like?
5. What's your ideal day like?
Questions from Megaman
1. Any personal hobbies?
You don't have a lot of free time as the leader of the Gold Tribe. It sucks, but that's what you sign up for. I do like to go up to high places sometimes and just see the sights.
2. You mentioned Snype being "too damn likable". What if it that you like about him?
Heh, nothing! He's a loser! *sticks out tongue* Mmm... I guess you could say that he has a way of making a tense situation less tense. Dialing down the despair. When every day is a battle, having someone who could do that really is a treat. Now if he wasn't such a scoundrel...
3.What if the thieves didn't exsist? What would change?
Maybe we could finally use Eden Forest for something productive instead of it being a lair for all criminals to hide out in! Not that I'm complaining. Thieves have been pretty damn quiet recently, and their hideout is pretty cool, but damn it I wish we didn't have to fight. But I guess if we didn't need to, then the world wouldn't really need the Gold Tribe either, right?
4. Are you ticklish?
What... what the hell kinda question is that? No, I'm not ticklish! Idiot.
5. If you could be any other species other then a Zangoose, what would you be? Legendaries included.
Grandpa once told me a story about his dad, Kent Reed, meeting up with a legendary in his life, a Ho-Oh. I think it'd be pretty cool to be that. Fly wherever you want, don't have to take anything from anyone... yeah that'd be nice.
Questions from Turnip!
1. What would you say is the most difficult thing you have ever had to do?
Let go of the friends and family I've lost. Especially 30 years ago. I thought that would be the most pain I'd ever have to endure, but now it's starting all up again.
2. If you had to swap lives/bodies with one person in the whole group, who would it be, what would you do and why?
Being in command is pretty stressful, but if I had to choose something, I'd want to see what life was like from someone completely different. Penance and Snype are out because they're both in leadership positions too. I'd probably choose someone non-Gold Tribe, so Cal, Kav, Abel and Zai are out. Who would want to be that lame ass Charlie? Hmm, maybe Sylvio. He's somewhat of a mystery to me. I'd want to know more about who he is and where he's from. Maybe see how he views life and what he has done for fun.
3. Do you ever think there will be a time when Thieves and Gold Tribe can live in comfort and harmony?
I hope so. I really do. Many Gold Tribe leaders before me were set on taking them down. I'm trying to look at the bigger picture here. Darkrai is the enemy, not necessarily the Thieves. The problem is, we Gold Tribe stand for something. And if we do somehow manage to defeat the Dark One, then what happens between the Gold Tribe and the Thieves. I know thieves, I fought beside some, I'm almost on friendly terms with some. I don't want to have to fight them. But if they don't find a way to compromise with us, will I have a choice?
4. If you could learn the deepest darkest secret of anyone in the group, whose would it be and why?
It's a toss up between Penance or Snype. I know Snype has his secrets, and him being apart of the Thieves means that whatever he is hiding from me can't be good. Penance, despite all of his preaching of no secrets years ago, is doing the exact same thing. Both have something they aren't fully telling me and it's pissing me off.
5. If you had to organise surprise birthday parties for two people in the group (pick as appropriate), what would you do? In terms of what you'd set up and who you'd invite. For the record, 'kill myself' is not an option
*Smirks* Gold Tribe members would be the most ideal candidates. Kav and Cal, for example. Plus it'd be really easy to organize for them because all I'd have to do is ask the other what they think I'd make for the other person's birthday party! I mean, who knows better than a sibling, right?
6. What'cha think of Raz?
I have a serious problem with the guy, but I'm hoping I'm wrong about it. In all honesty, he seems like the kind of guy I would have to go after if we do pull through this Darkrai fight. Which is surprising because he's so... well, you know, tiny. But I'd be a damn fool if I go underestimating him because of that. But he also has this almost childish way of understanding and responding to things. It makes me think that I might be able to get through to him enough to change how he behaves.... mmm not likely. We'll see what happens.
Questions from Nakuzami
What's your idea of a great society? You must have some idea of where you'd like things to head if you defeat Darkrai.
A great society? One that doesn't have the grief that Darkrai feeds off of. Or at the very least a minimal amount. I don't think any society can have no chaos or only order. We are all shades of those two extremes. But the closest we are to order without pushing toward dictatorial and still peaceful might just be what we're looking for. Or, at the very least, a society of harmony. It's not exactly order, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
If you didn't have all these disasters to deal with, where do you think you'd be? What would you want to be doing?
I do like to fight. That's the way I always was. A fighter. Hmm... you know, I'm not entirely sure if its true, but I hear there's a famous arena in Karn where fighters from across the land come to compete. That might be kinda cool... *grins*
If you had kids, how would you raise them? Would you train them as initiates for the Gold Tribe, or would you want to get them away from all of the strife?
I... uh... I dunno. I thought a few times about having them before, but nothing ever materialized. Being a Gold Tribe leader took up all of my time, and rebuilding it made me blind to a lot of other things I guess... well, Dad raised me to be in the Gold Tribe, and his dad did the same. If I had kids, I'd at least give them the option.
Who or what do you think has had the greatest influence on your development? In fashioning the morals by which you currently abide? Have you ever had to throw your personal morals aside for some "greater good?"
There are four Pokemon that come to mind: My father, Penance, Hanso Sharp-Eye, and Zane Tyrael. They all helped me in some way or another establish my current philosophy of a Gold Tribe worthy of Valkaria. Penance, despite his craziness now, helped start up the path to honesty and integrity. Hanso and Zane helped guide me there, and my father always had the intentions of the Alpha Alliance in his heart, despite the personal turmoil he experienced.
When I was younger, I did toss aside my morals to accomplish goals. I hid things from Penance when he was a Gold Tribe member in order to get him to fight in the upcoming battle. I abandoned my Gold Tribe integrity by running with the thieves for a while. I was never fully pure. But I want the Gold Tribe to be. I want the Gold Tribe to be worthy of the name placed upon them, the praise they receive, the reputation they've earned. It's why I'm so strict with new initiates. I won't make the same mistake as my predecessors. We will not falter in who we are, no matter who we'll eventually have to go through.
How about that Zai? She's pretty awesome, right?
The best! Dependable, hardy, and always there when I need her. She's like me, coming from a line of Gold Tribe in the family, so I always know where her loyalties lie. I fought beside members of her family, and I know she'll be just as dependable as they were.
Megaman765 February 2nd, 2015 11:45 PM
1. What would you say is the most difficult thing you have ever had to do?
My whole incident with joining the Silver Tribe I suppose. I was in a really dark place but even then, I had to consider the option. Worst part is I didn't even feel bad about it at the time. I still don't know if I do or not nowadays.
2. If you had to swap lives/bodies with one person in the whole group, who would it be, what would you do and why?
Haha...hahaha! You're asking a prankster what he'd do if I swapped bodies with someone! Top of the line humiliation! I wonder if Guardia would get a kick if I walked in town dressed real pretty or something! Keheh! Dressed in Gold too just to get on her nerves a little more!
3. Do you ever think there will be a time when Thieves and Gold Tribe can live in comfort and harmony?
Comon, then what would we do? Steal from some homes outside? We make a livelyhood off of others! If we're gonna live in comfort and harmony I sure hope they got alot of homes and money laid out for us! Cuz otherwise it just won't be that simple. I'd be the "King of Suck ups" then!
4. If you could learn the deepest darkest secret of anyone in the group, whose would it be and why?
Sylvio without a doubt. I've known the guy for awhile but I swear he keeps alot to himself. Not to say I don't have alot of secrets but ya know, a thief can't help but be nosey sometimes ya know?
5. If you had to organise surprise birthday parties for two people in the group (pick as appropriate), what would you do? In terms of what you'd set up and who you'd invite. For the record, 'kill myself' is not an option http://www.pokecommunity.com/images/templates/smilies/cerulean/12.%20tongue.gif
I'd probly throw one for Charlie. He's been a pretty swell fella in the group. I think the best approach would be to royally piss him off and then boom! Surprise party! Kehehe. Maybe I could throw one for Guardia too without her even knowing it! We could sneak right in, get the confeti all over, and throw a nice party for her and perhaps the rest of the Goldies. With our own thief charm of course! Confetti aint free you know!
6. What'cha think of Raz? http://www.pokecommunity.com/images/templates/smilies/cerulean/12.%20tongue.gif
He's a cute fella. He has the whole "evil overlord thing" But he's a child at heart. For some reason I've found it very easy to connect with the guy. Just play along with what he says and its pretty simple. And have alot of ice cream prepared. Kid loves that stuff. Kehe.
Questions for Raz:
1. Any emotional attachments to your "minions"?
2. Why do you get joy out of being evil?
3. What would an alternate universe Raz be like?
4. Least favorite thing to be called?
Questions for Guardia
:
1. Gotta ask you this one. Alternate Universe Guardia. What would she/he be like?
2.Anybody you've been jealous of?
3. Think you'll win against Darkrai?
4.Think you could win a fight against Snype? Keheh...oops!
Hmm, this thread is pretty dead. I'll revive it by answering a few questions about my Gunpowder character, Sophia - enjoy. Also warning: she is an outlaw so she sort of swears quite a bit.
What is your full name?
Sophia "The Chameleon" Hartmann, or Fia for short. Whatever goes with you. Oh, also - I'll be telling you some pretty, eh - confidential information over here, so you better not give it out to anyone else. If I hear any news of this got out, it's your damn head I'm putting a bullet though, hear?
Alright... *clears throat* When and where were you born?
I was born in my 'pa's house in Orhurst - we had our own medical crew so my father didn't need any hospital. When, I don't really care. He says it's on the day he took over his major competitor - I think their name was Clock, or Dock? I don't know.
Who are/were your parents?
Elias Hartmann is my father. If you haven't heard of my 'pa, you've either been living under a damn rock for your whole life or you're deaf. And blind. And very screwed up disability you can find in this ****ed up world. Hell, even dead men know my father's name - that bullet they got through the head was probably fired by a Hartmann Industries firearm. Just look at any pistol, rifle, shotgun you see, chances are it's my 'pa's business.
Oh, my mother? *snickers* Sorry, I forget I have one sometimes. According to 'pa she was a "waste of a woman", whatever that means. Well I guess I must've gotten the brown hair fro her - 'pa ain't got any.
Do you have any family other than your parents?
No, none that I know are still alive at least. I'm an only child so I've got no direct siblings; 'pa never stayed with one woman too much - understandable. 'Pa was not an only child, but his brothers were all killed in the war and he was the youngest so he didn't get sent. My mother's side, as I said, I know nothing about. I also had a step brother, but he, eh... uhm... an accident happened, and he died.
Next question you piece of shit
Any story from the past you'd like to share with us?
Eh, if you want something interesting to read, here's my "criminal report" I snagged from the sheriff a while back. Not something I like talking about, but hey, I've got nothing to lose. *hands paper*
Her father strongly disagreed. He knew his daughter. The moment he would take her in as an apprentice, she would begin rising up the chain of command, eventually taking his place as owner. He explained to her that he had chosen her step-brother as heir to the business. the latter was much less obsessed with success and had a "clearer mind". Sophia was to stay in Skyrith and become a nurse.
A week later, Sophia's step-brother was found in his room, pinned to the wall by his shirt, apparently having being stabbed numerous times in the chest.
Where do you live in, and with whom? Describe the person/people.
Well, our clan is mainly located in Larkin, but we've got a few safehouses all across the Chasm - biggest ones are in Larkin, Fairbell and Silverston. I usually stay in Larkin though. The Culebras are basically my family now. I get in touch with 'pa sometimes, but aside from that it's nothing but them I have. They're good people, but the boys' behavior get of hand sometimes - and it's usually up to yours truly to fix it. We all got our reasons for being in the group, but when it comes to helping each other out, we're a single unit. You take down one of us, chances are you're gonna be found dead the next day with a dozen bullets in your chest.
What do you do for a living?
Ehm.... I'm part of a non-governmental profit-making organization. Unfortunately our actions are - eh - unappreciated by most people, so we're not on the good side of the law. Leave it at that.
Do you have any special abilities?
Well, I'm a sorcerer, if that counts as anything "special". Right now I'm only an air elementalist, but I'm learning. Us Culebras usually use poison, venom, disease, that sort of shit to do our business, so most of my spells are in that field.
Tell us more of your appearance. Height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks, this kind of things.
I'm about 5'3 - don't laugh, my 'pa was short, okay - and 120 pounds. Chestnut-colored curly hair and eyes, taken from my mother apparently. =I don't usually dress like this, with a white dress - too formal, can't believe some people actually wear this crap on a daily basis. I usually dress like this. *hands photo*
To which social class do you belong?
In the Barren lands, there ain't no social class. There's the ones with the law, and the ones against it. You can be filthy rich or poor as a rat on either side, it don't matter.
Do you have any allergies, diseases or physical weaknesses?
None that I know of, no.
What does your voice sound like?
Here's a recording. It's not of the best quality, but hey, the best you can get in the south is this sort of crap.
What do you have in your pockets?
How did you know?
Wait, what? *checks pockets*
Hahah, just messing with you. Maybe. Right now I've only got a bit of cash, my spellbook of course, and my revolver - just a precaution, don't get your panties hot.
Do you admit to having any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Not really. I mean, some people call me a crazy bitch for talking to my Chameleon Nico, but **** all of 'em. Nico's better than every man out there.
I see you revived this thread after all. That's fine in this case, it was going to happen one way or another (since it's 2 months dead but still helpful). Enjoy interviewing!
In which you will be more than welcome to post, Lone_Darkrai :)
