Strikes? In my America?
It's more likely than you think. Yea, I think a lot of times people who go on strike fail miserably at understanding the dynamic of what they're striking over. Like the people protesting Wal-Marts disposable employment practices. Don't you understand something larger has to take place than a petty demonstration? |
Are amiibos really that good? I have a pikachu one but I've never used it lol
What are amiibos? Sounds like a Mexican furnishing, or possibly a food made from rodents.

I swear, internet advertisements are getting out of control. I'm trying to watch streams of anime on my iPod and every site I come across has epileptic spasm banners, ads that take up half the screen, advertisements that take you to the App Store for whatever product when you click to "close the advertisement", and other bullshit that makes the internet unbearable.

Overall I find Apple and their products obtuse. Maybe that's not the best of things to be in the world of commerce, and it would explain a lot of the anti-Apple stigma a lot of people have and also why so many others in particular love it. |
The whole thing why people like apple is because it's simple, right?
More like it's popular and costs more.
That's not the reason it's popular I think. I think that came afterwards.
Keyword here is obtuse. It's higher end, but wider market, and still general purpose. Near as I can say it's obtuse. I don't like obtuse, mainly because it's not worth the money for me as a power user and brings the baggage of peers who are all about those sorts of products... ew.
I like iPhones :3 because they are simple, possibly. On other phones there are so much features and weird menus and whatnot. I'm lazy. I know my iPhone now and I'm happy with it. Plus, it's gorgeous.
Wouldn't want an Apple computer though. And uh what does "obtuse" mean? :3 |
I can imagine why people could get used to iPhones over Android. I grew really accustomed to the stock and Party Time Jelly Bean on my Galaxy Reverb, and despise the modified interface on my mother's ZTE Awe. It looks awful. Her phone's also too light. It's also lacking external storage.
Phones can definitely grow on you, true. I made the deliberate decision to go with Android because of past opinions of Apple's product and also the better extensibility of Android which I knew about beforehand as well. Most people don't really research that shit :P |

while stuff like the Zune flops hard due to how big the iPod was around 2007.
I think its just awful that people think they're getting a 700 dollar phone for free, or substantially less, and what bullshit is pulled to rope people in for horrible cell phone services. Never gonna get an iPhone in my life, always will go with the alternative. More importantly, the quality has declined substantially, as its probably past the point were quality control is maintainable. I mean come on, on the android side, you can easily get something as good or even better for 250 if you know where to look. And of course the ZTE was awful for you, its ZTE! Lenovo or Huawei are the good chinese companies.
If putting a phone in your pocket makes it bends I'm not interested even at a lower price. I don't own a phone though.
That didn't happen that many times, and if it did happen you just have to take it to an Apple Store and they'll replace it for free
Meh I'm not a big fan of smartphones. I'm good with my nokia brick and won't buy a new phone until it either breaks or my battery's near death (like what happened with my 3310).
I have an android because it was cheap, and I know how to get pokemon on it.
Basically Apple computers are machines that are almost immune to viruses and apparently have easy-to-use programs.
This comes at the cost of being more expensive than PCs, having less performance power, not as many computer games available, harder to program with, harder to upgrade hardware, and being part of a community that generally radiates obscene levels of dipshittery. Oh, and when they do crash, they crash so hard they fall through the ground, go through the core, emerge on the other side of the planet, and launch into the stratosphere. |

I really doubt that still applies now. Sure, the majority of people still use windows, so there's more windows viruses circulating around. But I wouldn't go as far as saying apple computers "are almost immune to viruses". Since there's more viruses being developed for them nowadays than there used to be. |
Don't argue with Carchar, dude, he clearly knows everything
Only I am immune to viruses.
