I'm thinking of making some Arch Linux derivatives, one for a CLI and one for a GUI system, basically.

People in the staff Skype chat be talking about me huh. I see how it is, I'm watching y'all. Y'think you're slick but I got my eye on your shenanigans. Don't think I don't!

Aren't I something beautiful. I feel so special right now, thanks guys! The mere thought that I'm the topic of your thoughts is so touching.....

I don't think a lot of people here will understand what you mean by that. :P

If you guys love swimming year-round, then Florida can be the place to do it. xD

Chikara February 21st, 2015 5:28 PM

I used to live in Jacksonville, and trust me, being able to swim year-round is a myth. It was 20 degrees there yesterday lmao :( The air temp might warm up, but the water temp stays super cold.

I know what section I'm in Zach, thanks

anyway swimming sucks here in NC, at least inland. It's nice on the coast but is just impossible here anywhere else unless you're like at a hotel or something. Colorado is great to swim in because the summers sit in the 90s, at least in the Springs. there's all sorts of recreational things around the city besides the military - there's the Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, the Pass, Santa's Workshop (theme park for kids), and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo which we got caught at in an electromagnetic storm once many years ago. It was a blast seeing that purple lighting! :D

Hmm, I was thinking along the lines of those backyard pools everyone seems to have. But yeah it was cold yesterday for Florida standards but today it warmed up again to the 70s down here in central Florida.

I haven't been in a pool in years. I used to not be able to swim and all I did was sat at the edge of my grandfather's pool in the water whenever I visited him. He moved though and his current place doesn't have a pool.

Chikara February 21st, 2015 5:37 PM

We had a backyard pool with a foundation that heats itself from the sunshine -w- was still super cold during the winter, no matter how warm it got.

Purple lightning sounds pretty cool. My favorite is heat lightning, though. It was super common back in Florida.

kuzronk February 21st, 2015 5:45 PM

I didn't even go swimming this summer. Not even in my backyard.

Alexander Nicholi February 21st, 2015 5:50 PM

I love being in the pool, and having the whole shebang with that going on. In a semi-private in-ground pool of course. My mother threw away my favourite pair of swimming trunks though which I'm still pissed about. I threw away the pussy shorts she got me though

I can swim and all but I don't like having to in deep water. It's a phobia.

Sonata February 21st, 2015 5:55 PM

I can't swim. It sucks butt because I love being in the water. I wanted to go swimming over the summer, but by the time summer rolled around we had already sold the house next door.

kuzronk February 21st, 2015 6:03 PM

My ears are really painful in water anyway.

Sir Codin February 21st, 2015 6:46 PM

So, yeah, I played Cards Against Humanity for the first time ever with my friends today.

It's now one of my favorite games ever.

kuzronk February 21st, 2015 7:12 PM

What is it like anyway? I think I played it on PC and got confused.

Pendraflare February 21st, 2015 7:17 PM

I don't get many chances to swim anymore, I would use the pool over at the gymnasium at college but it's usually crowded. Although I do like the water when it's warm...

Alexander Nicholi February 21st, 2015 7:17 PM

I did CAH with the patrons at the Skype Chat. It was silly to do, but still entertaining

I have to mirror the 1d4chan article on it to explain it:

"You know how, when you play Apples to Apples, the goal quickly changes from "Play the funniest combo" to "Play the most terrifyingly offensive combo"? Like, someone plays "Crispy" or some shit, and you play "Anne Frank"? That's Cards Against Humanity. It's specifically set up to be as offensive as possible, like a good episode of South Park, but pulls it off well enough to come across as hilarious, instead of morbid.

A great game to play with college dorm-mates, erudite friends, polite society, your grandmother, and anyone else over the age of 18 (CarcharOdin's Note: "WRONG. Anyone over 15, you idiot neckbeards"). You will never look at anyone you play with the same way again."

I didn't live in Jacksonville, but I lived like 45 minutes away from the city at one point, and oh there's a story here--

I had an uncle and his family visit one time while I still lived there. It was like April or so at the latest. They decided they wanted to visit the beach while they were there, since they didn't live near any beaches themselves. That...was possibly one of the most miserable beach trips I've ever been on, my god that water was c o l d and the weather itself wasn't even the warmest yet.

(As for swimming, I can't. Well, I can, but I have an aversion to deep water because of something that happened when I was young, so I'm sticking to water I can still stand in.)

Blastedoise February 22nd, 2015 1:37 AM

Gee i can't wait for tommorow. It's supposed to rain, but idk i can trust that thing. I don't wanna end up wearing, some stuff and it starts shining. Well, it's just Business School, so happy to be back there. Starting working again on Tuesday finally.

Alexander Nicholi February 22nd, 2015 8:54 AM

I just fenagled with Phiddeus enough to get to have this laptop at my relative's. Whoopee!~

Recently I've been cutting out a lot of nasty things from my diet. This cherry soda is going to my relative's and staying there. I'll have water.

Ice February 22nd, 2015 8:56 AM

I only drink soda in the weekend. I mostly live on water and milk throughout the week.

Chikara February 22nd, 2015 8:56 AM

I've been drinking nothing but water, orange juice, and tea. Blast this cold.
