Oh, Grey, so you played More friends of Mineral town? that's nice! I am a girl but I always played the boy version unless I played the newest version when you can choose which gender you want :)

Oh HMDS is one of my favorite!! I lost my game too, that's too bad :/ I love A wonderful Life and both version a alike, they have a lot of the same characters. I married Celia in my first AWL game. And for the emulator Friend of mineral Town is one of my favorite HM game, I recommand it a lot! And N64 isn't bad at all too! (I have to say I love the SNES one too.. and GBA 1, 2 and 3... ok well I love them all)

You are both in! ;) Thank you!

Nagi January 24th, 2015 2:05 AM

yeah, exactly! when i was little, my father bought me and my brother A Wonderful Life for Gamecube. and i played it a bit, but couldn't really get into it (partly because it was difficult and partly because i was a boy and had to court girls). i just didn't like it.
later, he got us a GBA emulator with Friends of Mineral Town, so once i learned there was also a female version, i downloaded that instead. i played that LOTS! i don't have the save file anymore though, cause i only played through it once. but i still have a GBA emulator on my computer now and every once in awhile i'll play. i always start over though.

Harvest Moon DS i didn't play, although i did download Harvest Moon DS Cute (again, the female version haha) but it seemed to be about the same game as More Friends of Mineral Town, or at least with the same characters, so i didn't play it any further.

Hero of Twilight January 24th, 2015 4:03 AM

trying to get a GBA emulator for a harvest moon game. would you recommend Friends of Mineral Town or More Friends of Mineral town?

depends.. ''Are you a boy or a girl?'' haha.
they're effectively the same game but from a boy (FoMT) or girl (MFoMT) perspective. i think cause it came out later the girl version has a few extra features? but not sure what they are exactly.

In all honesty, that's the only HM game I've played so far since my friend gave me the game seven years ago... Though I've seen tidbits of just about every Harvest Moon game cuz my friend has practically played them all, haha! I don't think I know the details about how the series has evolved all these years...

Hrmm... what should our discussion topic be? Oh yeah! Isn't Story of Seasons releasing in March for North America? I'm not sure about Europe's release date.

Like なぎ said, both game are the same but one is the boy version and the other is the girl version.
As a girl, I had the boy version and I love it!!! (I am now playing the girl version and love it too, it is the same but you don't marry the same gender. For the extra feature, apparently there is but I don't know them :/ Internet might tell you. I don't think they are big changes.)

Hello!! :) You are in!!
Friends of mineral town, IMO the best one (or one of the best). Popuri was my first FoMT wife!! (but now I don't really like her anymore XD )

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And so, for the topic, yupp I think it is march (10th?)
It is out in Japan since 2014.

Do you think you'll give it a try?

I'll sure do because I play all the HM games I can :) [I haven't played The lost valley yet tho, but.. I doesn't look that good and my friend told me to wait to Story of season instead of spend my money on TLV because the game isn't "bad" but it is not really good... Just look at a video of the game, it is not like the other HM games, but you may like it, even prefert it!! I just don't ;) ]

I'll gonna buy the eshop version because I have some money from christmas on it, but I wanted to pre-order it I want a HM plushie for one time T_T

Popuri was my first wife in FoMT as well... way back when I played the game for the first time as a kid. I don't really know why I liked her then or why she continues to remain my favorite. Perhaps for the same nostalgia reasons Charmander remains my favorite Kanto starter?

I may very well try Story of Seasons! Isn't the Lost Valley... only a Harvest Moon game in name only? I remember reading an article saying that TLV wasn't developed by Marvelous, the studio that was responsible for making what we knew as Harvest Moon games for two decades. To be blunt, I don't care to use my money on a knockoff Harvest Moon... So I probably won't be buying TLV. :p

Yup it is not the Marvelous!
TLV look like a "mincraft-moon". Apparently you start in the winter and it stay the winter until you do... I don't remember what but you have to do something special to 'unlock" the other seasons. Who like winter in HM!? (Well, except in FoMT because you have an extra mine. I loooooove mining...)

Nagi January 25th, 2015 7:58 AM

in my case, my favourite female character from FoMT was Ann! and i would've also liked Mary if it wasn't for the fact she had the most adorable heart events with Grey all the time (ノ>▽<。)ノ

i actually haven't played any of the 3DS versions yet, though i have watched a lot of gameplay videos of Story of Seasons in Japanese a while back. i don't know if i'll get it yet though... but maybe. it does seem like fun!

I have to say, I prefer non-3DS HM games waaaaaaaay better. But New Begginning is pretty good, better than the 3DS games before that.
I think it is the graphics. There is something (for me) unforgettable about FoMT...

I'm interested in Story of Seasons, but it'll probably have to wait with so many other games coming out around the same time. The Lost Valley...not so much.

Hello Redj! :) You are in!! Don't hesitate to ask questions and to talk to us!

Ohhh FoMT is really popular :3

:

: a question for all club members :) ::

Do you remember the farest you where in any HM game?

I think mine was in FoMT, I only missed two jewels of truth. Maybe something like year 4 ?
For AWL it was year 3 or 4 too.
And I think HM DS was like year 6
(these are my 3 favorite HM games)

I think I was about year 5 in my oldest FoMT save file. Nothing particularly special. Wife, kid, fully expanded house and animal buildings. I don't think I got all the jewels of truth.

Hello :)
You are in!! Budum ^_^
I agree with you, I was friend with a lot of Harvest Sprites in this game, they were the best! ^^
I was sad when I learned they only have two harvest spirits in ANB :(

Another FoMT fan, yaay :D
This game is really a good one!!
I never played ToT :(
And TOTT wasn't bad at all!

And do you remember how far you where in the game? :)

Dusk January 30th, 2015 1:34 PM

I saw this parody movie trailer for Harvest Moon and I thought you guys might like it. If this was an actual movie and had the entire cast of NPCs, I'd totally want to see it. xD

Mawa January 30th, 2015 3:42 PM

Thank you Lisia to share this with us! :)

Is it the same ones who did a pokemon movie like this too?? (pokemon IRL, you must see it)

OMG 0:45 in the trailer, they put 3 games names together in two sentences, I love it!!

I don't remember too much about ToTT, but I remember I was after Georgia. c: I was really close to marrying Renee in ToT, Celia in HMDS, and as mentioned I always married Ellie in FoMT (I always play as a boy even if there's an option to be a girl). I guess I have a type, I seem to like the brunettes most. :P They're always sweeties.

For those of you that played FoMT, did anyone ever buy that cottage in town? :o I never got any of the 'vacation' houses, which is the only thing I didn't accomplish in that game, I think. That and all the Jewels of Truth.

Aw, I loved that so much! I don't understand who the 'rival' guy was though - I thought he was Grey at first but it seemed like they just added a random rival to add more suspense to the trailer, which I didn't think was necessary. Other than that, it was amazing. ♥

I think I was building a vacation house in my game!! Is there a beach one? I think I had it... Maybe I am just imagining that.

If they put a rival... Why not Jamie ?? :o (from Magical Melody)

Juno January 31st, 2015 12:54 PM

Yep, there was a beach house. :P Had to connect FoMT to AWL to get it, I believe.

Mawa January 31st, 2015 1:28 PM

I think I did!! It was a long time ago, I think I remember connecting my game with AWL with my cousin... (I didn't have a cable so someone must have been with me)

I managed to beat the original SNES Harvest Moon, which ended about halfway through Year 3... and I also got the bad ending because I was dumb with my gold. Oh well.

And I never knew about the vacation homes in FoMT, though I just looked them up. I only have the PS2 version of AWL and never had nor really want a Gamecube, so I'll probably never get the seaside cottage, but the other two should be doable...after playing for a loooong time. Apparently one of them costs 100,000,000 gold and 999 pieces of wood to get and the other requires that you be married for 50 years to get it.

Yup, I saw this too. That's a lot!!
I guess you can just befriend the Harvest Spirits, do them do some work on the farm (like take care of animals) and sleep through the game (take some time to give gifts to the harvest spirits).
Or sell all the animals and sleep through the game...

Oh my goodness can you imagine how the spouse character and child must feel? The main character essentially sleeping for 50 years... o.o

Hello ^_^Better late than never!! :)

Oohhh HM64, a classic that I've never really played in depth (shame on me x.x ) It is my friend's favorite!! (and an all time love one I think).
And yes The Lost Valley don't really look like a .good. harvest moon game (but hey that's only my opinion!) I hope you'll have more fun with Story of season! ;)

How far are you in your game right now?

Nagi February 2nd, 2015 9:46 AM

i think i didn't even answer the topic yet...
Do you remember the farthest you were in any HM game?
... to be honest whenever i started playing again after a long hiatus i wanted to start over again. so i don't think i ever got further in a HM game than year 2 or so, haha.
(and so, obviously i never got any of the vacation houses either)

i'm a huge perfectionist when it comes to HM; i always need to find ways to spend my energy in the most efficient way possible and make the most money cause else i feel like i'm missing out. how do you deal with this? specifically cause time goes so fast in FoMT! it'd take hours just for a trip downtown, and then there's still work to do at the farm. and honestly i think it's so tiring to have to gift everyone every day to get them to like you ( ´ ▽ ` )ゞ i gave Gray an egg every day, but then of course i also wouldn't get the income from that egg... i don't know, i felt like i wasn't getting anywhere fast!
(this is really making me want to play again though haha!)

Mawa February 2nd, 2015 4:37 PM

I never felt like I neveer had time, and I loved to everything to have more money and to give gifts and fishing... But I was almost always mining and in the mine time os stopped. So a day was long :) (and that's do a lot fof money, when you go minning with the basket!)

Nagi February 3rd, 2015 2:42 AM

true, in the mines days lasted forever, and you could make a lot of money out of that. though honestly i loved just doing work on the farm itself most, but to me it felt like the work on the farm is something you're supposed to leave to the harvest sprites while you yourself go off doing everything BUT farming.

i think, once i have a bit more time, i might play MFoMT again, but just in a relaxed way, and see how far i get. it's technically impossible to get stuck, and as long as you woo your favourite bachelor enough so they won't marry the rival, it's okay, right?

do love rivals actually still exist in the latest Harvest Moon games? cause they weren't there in ToTT if i remember correctly. it partly makes me sad if they aren't, but at the same time it does make the game more relaxed, haha!

I am not that far in ANB, but I know in Animal Parade this is still there.
I love this feature! In Animal Parade they have children too. That's awesome.

Playing HM? YES! I'm taking a little mini-break from it but I have a save file for StH I'm trying to get all the endings for, I have A New Beginning that I play through on my 3DS, and I'm going to buy Story of Seasons at the end of this month /o/ I'm also debating on buying the special edition A Wonderful Life from the PSN Store since I recently found out it's on there for $10...

Playing HM?

Another STH fan! Yay. I never meet other people who loved that game, it's sad. I thought it had the best storyline and characters. I really wish I could still play, but I don't have a PS2 anymore. siigh. (I did for a while consider getting a PSP just so I could play the remake...)

It's definitely the biggest underdog of the series! It was my first so I'm particularly nostalgic with it and I do agree that it has the best (and most diverse) cast of characters! I'm so happy that my PS3 has backwards compatibility so that I can still play it - but I know it's on the PSN store for $10 as well! And I got a PSP to play Hero of Leaf Valley but I haven't played it yet, I've been a little intimidated by reviews saying it's one of the most difficult HM games haha....

It was my first, too! That may be a big part of my love for it, haha. I really need to get a PS3 at some point. I hardly ever play console games nowadays.

Oh, I hadn't heard that. Is the story supposed to be difficult to get through or is it the gameplay, do you know? I didn't look at too many reviews, to be honest, I was already sold on it when I found out I could marry Gwen and watch rival heart events. I'm easy.

Yeah, instead of the player having a full year to pretty much save the village however they can, in HoLV the player has to earn a certain amount of money by a specific time, see certain events on specific dates, and a lot of other little "tracking" things that seem tedious... I thought StH was perfectly paced because a year was always the perfect amount of time to pick a story to clear while working on my own farm as well. I really should give HoLV a shot before passing too much judgment though, but I'm so intimidated 8(

Oh! Yeah, that sounds tricky. ;( I agree on STH being perfectly paced, I really liked how the storylines played out. It's too bad they had to change things up. Maybe it's not quite as hard as it sounds, though? I hope so, at least, I still want to try it out sometime...

I really do want to try it! I've been itching to play my PSP and that would be the perfect game to start playing. I think I'll try to go about finding a good guide to help me through it because I've never been so intimidated by a game before, honestly... lol! It might be because I'm such a perfectionist in all of my Harvest Moon games though, I try to get the best products ASAP and woo all of the bachelor(ette)s before the end of the year, and basically all of these ridiculous goals and such.

I think I might be having horror flashbacks from the time when I first started playing StH when I was really little and kept failing and not saving the town within a year... that was traumatizing :(

Oh I feel you haha. But a guide sounds like a good idea, that might be the key. Be sure to report back here if you do decide to try it out, I'd love to hear about it. ;P I usually spend a bit of time checking out guides before I start a Harvest Moon game, I'm always worried I'll miss out on something, or not save the right items, or something. I pretty much just try being everyone's best friend and hording items like crazy, it works out pretty well.

Oh and yikes, yeah, that does not sound fun. I restarted my file a couple of times because I just had no idea what I was doing, I'd mess everything up and waste sooo much time. Good times.......

So, club members, do you have a Havrest Moon game you never played but you really want to?

I always wanted to play to the playstations serie, because they are the only HM games I'v never tried.

Are you playing an HM game these days?: Yeah, I've been trying to play HMDS again. It's just so much more slow than some of the console games. I also wanted to give Magical Melody a shot.

Yes, I still have an emulated version of FoMT on my phone, and play it when bored (alternating HM with pokemon pinball). Although I do actually still play the Rune factory series, actually

I am an avid HM supporter, and have emulated pretty much everything, minus the 3ds/wii ones, and the remakes/ones on non-nintendo systems...
For the most part I've gotten really into the Rune Factory set, playing through all for full completion. I've become more of a fan of the RF series, due to the major RPG influence and the "infiniteness" of the game, as it can be played for hours well after full completion, unlike the earlier games. FoMT will always be my favorite though, as it was introduction to the series, and overall an awesome game. Yes, I actually completed all of it (before I even knew what gameshark was) on my GBA cartridge, including a full farm of golden lumber and all houses... Would love to talk to other lovers of the HM series, a lot due to the fact that I've been inactive on this site for such a long time (despite not making many posts when I first joined either)

RedJ March 3rd, 2015 9:57 PM

Do you have a Harvest Moon game you never played but you really want to?

All three (soon to be four- and no, I am not counting The Lost Valley) 3DS games, and I also sort of want to give Rune Factory another shot. I tried 2 a long time ago and ended up being incredibly disappointed by it, but I'm wondering if that may have just been because I went into it with my expectations raised way too high.

I reeeally wanted Hero of Leaf Valley for a long time (still do), but I never got a PSP, so blah. I remember there was also a Rune Factory game on the Wii I really wanted to play, too. Not sure why I never got that one, though. Hmm.

Hello you all :)

Well, it's been a while!!

And now, Story of Season is out! Have you played? Or do you know someone who have played?

I can tell you, this game is very fun!! The best in 3D for me!
The game is faster, big map, big changes, good characters.... There is so much to do!

Hello Cream!! ^_^

Well, if you want to play Story of Seasons I recommends it !! I love it for the moment!!

A lot of new features, but really nice ones! And this game still has the "Harvest Moon" feeling.
I liked A New Beggining, but I got over it so fast... But I feel I won't stop SOS soon ;)

Totally!
Well, maybe I didn't played A new beginning enough, but I just got the sewing machine in SOS so now I can do a lot of cloths, jewelry, hats, accessories... You make your clothes and you can sell them of wear them. You can change your hairs, eyes, skin colors, everything you want every moment in the game :)

I should have thought to make a post to let you guys know, but the two Harvest Moon PSP games were just on sale with this past week's Golden Week sale on PSN!

I got Boy & Girl for $3.75 and Hero of Leaf Valley for $5.00 with my Plus membership. I think B&G was $5 without Plus, and HoLV was $6.10.

Actually, I think the sale might still be going on until about Monday or Tuesday!

Hello youu :)

Yes, another Story of seasons player!! And you still play ANB? How far are you in your games?
If you want to start any discussion here, don't be shy! :)

Is there anybody else here who got Story of Seasons? What do you think of this game?

Loriania May 5th, 2015 10:42 AM

I'm in the first Spring of ANB. In Story of Seasons, I just got to Summer (year 1).

Can I catch different fish with the rod than I can by diving? Right now, I'm trying to find iron for the pitchfork. My first cow is also 'with calf'.

To Story of Seasons, it was my second game for the 3DS. I got the system for it even. So much fun to explore. Haven't been using the extra farm land yet, or really courting anyone. Still, I'm barely in Summer of year 1. Diving is a lot of fun, and I like my new fishing rod.

I personally didn't find any difference, and by diving you can found some ore (you'll got the mine later). But diving will only get you a limited amount of things, and fishing will give you as many catches as you want.

This club isn't the more popular, but you are welcome to ask any question you want, or just talk about the subject of your choice!! :)

(More) Friends of mineral town is a really popular game, and a really good one!! I love the 2D games, more than the 3D ones. But Story of seasons is my favorite HM games on handheld console since FoMT.

Loriania May 8th, 2015 7:33 AM

I feel like a lot of people overlook The Tale of Two Towns, but I have both versions. I really like the villagers for each town. (Especially Cam and Kana).

Oh, and I found Grand Bazaar fun.

YAY!!!

Thank you for accepting me as your HM Club Member!! ^^
Even if I'm male, I still played the MFoMT! (I used my sister's name instead mine, of course I wouldn't use my name if I'm playing as a girl in games...)

Oh! I just remembered!
In my MFoMT, I'm about to reach Fall! In the past... I was suppose to reach Fall but maybe the game glitched? so I made a new game...

Now... here's my question...

If you already met the Harvest Goddess... What gifts do or did you offer?

Loriania May 10th, 2015 5:10 AM

I would usually give the Harvest Goddess flowers. If you give her gifts in the Mineral Town games, she asks if you want to connect with the Wonderful Life (Gamecube) games, which will unlock some new content. (Like characters will come visit on certain days).

Mawa May 10th, 2015 6:13 AM

I give mostly flowers to the goddess. I don't visit her too often -guilty-

You can marry the Goddess as a man (so you can't in MFoMT). There is a God in Animal Parade too (but I don't want to marry someone who can't live with me :3 )

Back when you had to buy a different copy of the game for a boy or a girl, I always had boys because the game was out before the girl game. Now I play as a girl, but I want to keep my second save file in Story of Seasons because I still like to play as a boy.

*Spoilers fron Story of Seasons*

Spoiler:
I have unlocked Dessie, the little goddess. She likes Flowers but not bugs like butterflies. She's my neighbor so it is easy to give her gifts.

Loriania May 10th, 2015 6:21 AM

I bought the boy version because it was out first, then got the girl version. Glad you can pick a gender in the newer games. (Though I got the 3DS copy of The Tale of Two Towns to use as the boy version. I just really like that game. Though the one for the DS is better.)

I did play Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town but for some apparent reason I decided continue my HMMFoMT instead! How strange...

Wow... I guess I should start downloading the Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns! I got interested!
(since i play my games on my phone and i'm using my sister's laptop, i can't download it since my sister doesn't allow me from downloading games on her laptop...)

Loriania May 10th, 2015 10:53 AM

You don't have any portable systems? I only play on those now.

Mawa May 10th, 2015 5:36 PM

I didn't like that much the portable HM games when they got in 3D, but those in 2D were so awesome! but you know, that's my opinion ;) I know I said it a lot, but I love so much Story of Seasons, this is the best HM games on handheld in 3D IMO.

So Dots, if I understood you played MFoMT in your phone?

Loriania May 10th, 2015 7:15 PM

I have most of the HM games for the DS, and three for the 3DS. Don't really like Island of Happiness, but it's still in the collection.

RedJ May 10th, 2015 8:35 PM

I don't think I've ever bothered giving gifts to the Harvest Goddess outside of the random items I give her to get one of the Power Berries in Friends of Mineral Town. Aside from that and the Golden Axe event in Harvest Moon SNES, I pretty much completely ignore her.

When it was... around 2010 my brother played Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. So, last 2013, I decided to play it on my phone too. Buuut I got bored of it but I still played my HMMFoMT instead! (That was the time I was suppose to reach Fall the last time...)

Loriania May 11th, 2015 10:48 AM

In The Tales of Two Towns, the Harvest Goddess pops up to tell you of accomplishments. Like catching a certain amount of one type of fish.

Poor Goddess! XD But she's so fogotteable because we don't see her and she doesn't have an use that much in the games. We see her more in Animal Parade, she's outside the water hehe.

I forgot, but that's true!!

IMO, Tales of two towns shows the Goddess like I see her: a mascott. Kinda Pikachu lol. Not so much used, but we need her XD
There is the God I only remember in one game, and the witch in some games.
Another emblem of the game are the spirits. I usually like them and give them gift, and got sad when I saw only two spirits in ANB. There is a bunch in SOS, but I haven't befriend them for the moment.

ANB was actually my first HM game and SoS is my second so you can say ANB is the only one I've played so far. Maaan was it addicting though. Last I played I had a kid with Neil and was waiting until they got a little older.. still haven't unlocked Amir and Sanjay lmao.

ANB was actually my first HM game and SoS is my second so you can say ANB is the only one I've played so far. Maaan was it addicting though. Last I played I had a kid with Neil and was waiting until they got a little older.. still haven't unlocked Amir and Sanjay lmao.

Hello!! :) Welcome in this fan club!! Your username goes well with the theme of the fan club! ^_^

ANB is a good game to start! And I am addict to SOS lol I can't play any other games right now, I am waaay too into it. So happy to see someone else who want to try it!

A lot of fans here love Friends of mineral town (boy) and More friends of mineral town (girls) - time when you had to buy two different copies if you want to be a boy or a girl - they are definitely a game to try!

Have you played SOS? how do you like it so far?

In fact, everyone who has SOS, of do you like/dislike it? how come?

I am liking Story of Seasons a lot. It reminds of ANB a bit, but maybe just the graphics. The diving is fun, but I'm glad I got the fishing rod too.

Heyoo!!

I have some news!!

PoPoLoCrois Bokujou Monogatar

A crossover of Harvest Moon and PoPoLoCrois.

PoPoLoCrois is a manga, that I personnaly didn't know before.

This manga had some other video games, mostly on Playstation, but this game will be on 3DS.

This game is out in Japan on July 18, 2015. I don't have any dates for outside Japan.

Natsume announced Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories for Wii U, PC, and smartphones today. Keyword there being Natsume, meaning this is probably going to end up like The Lost Valley, and it also being for smartphones doesn't help either. It's apparently going to be loosely based on the original SNES Harvest Moon, though, so maybe it wont turn out horribly. Maybe. Possibly.

...yeah I'm not very hopeful for this.

Also XSeed could pick up that PoPoLoCrois crossover, but I wouldn't count on that happening.

Your link seems to be broken. So phones now instead of 3DS (the real one, not that 'New' thing)? *sigh*

machomuu June 2nd, 2015 5:05 PM

Just dropping in briefly.

I don't understand...is the New 3DS not considered real? 'Cause I have one, and it has yet to disappear into thin air or phase through my hands.

As far as Seeds of Memories go, I don't see any reason to be discouraged. Not only is this the first console-exclusive Harvest Moon we've seen since Animal Parade back on the Wii (so 7 years), but it's also the first Harvest Moon game to reach PC, which is really the thing that caught my eye about the announcement in the first place. As a game that seeks to recall its roots and build upon what it did right/fix what it did wrong with Lost Valley, until actual details arise there's not reason to fret.

I don't see why Nintendo couldn't have come out with a better name for that system. Why phones though? Aren't there farming app games?

I don't see why that makes it any worse of a device. It's been quite the upgrade from my 3DS and XL (the former of which, to begin with, was a bad name idea anyway).

And as for phones, I don't really see any reason that it coming out for mobile would imply that the game will be bad. I'd imagine they'll make a watered down version for mobile but, for all intents and purposes, it will likely be a console game. I'd just wait and see, but I don't see any reason to be all "doom and gloom" about it.

Loriania June 2nd, 2015 7:54 PM

I'm not being 'gloom and doom', just being disappointed at a new HM game not being available on a system I just got. As I am the only person in the world who doesn't have a computer phone, I'm not sure how the game would work on one.

RedJ June 5th, 2015 11:08 AM

I'd say the move to phones is probably an attempt to try to separate themselves from Story of Seasons, but that doesn't explain the Wii U version. PC is easy enough since phone games are apparently easily ported to PC.

Meanwhile, Xseed went and proved me wrong and announced that they'll be localizing the PopoloCrois crossover as Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale.

Uh, is that the Rune Factory type game then?

It look like it to me.

Apparently, Seeds of Memory will be on PC and WiiU too. An Harvest Moon game on PC.. I am curious.

Loriania June 25th, 2015 2:30 PM

Looks fun, but I hope for a regular Story of Seasons game too.

Mawa June 25th, 2015 4:02 PM

I want a 2D harvest moon game.. I miss the 2D so much, in every games! T_T

So, in ANB, what do I build with the black rocks and branches? I keep finding those while fishing.

Keep it :) You can sell the black lumber/material stone for some money (your hammer or axe need to be upgraded). There is some blueprints who will need these materials.

Loriania July 3rd, 2015 1:01 PM

I've sold some and kept some. Now I am trying out the multiplayer. (It made me want a sheep.)

I never tried the multiplayer option! Can I send you a sheep in this option? If so I will be glad to do it :)

I never tried the multiplayer option in S.O.S too.

Loriania July 3rd, 2015 8:07 PM

Pretty sure you can only send items (or build items in ANB.) In the ANB multiplayer, you get to see other peoples animals. You can brush them, and milk the cows (and yaks). Sos, it's more of visiting the host's farm, and 'blessing' their crops/ animals.

Mawa July 4th, 2015 6:31 AM

Visiting the farms... Do you custom your farm in SOS? There is a good customization system, but I don't use it really...

Loriania July 4th, 2015 1:08 PM

I really only customized my farm in ANB. Saving money for blueprints in Sos.

Hero of Twilight July 6th, 2015 5:43 AM

Found a copy of Harvest Moon DS at EB Games, and I'm like SCORE!! Finally can start playing this series again.
