I have been running on 6 hours on two days straight with a bonus dose of stress so I'm kinda shit right now :D
|
I slept quite a bit today... I was tired last night, don't remember when, and slept until... 8:30, I think? I seriously don't keep track of time anymore. I should.

I haven't even paid attention to how much I've slept within the past few days. I'd say it was "enough" but considering I went to bed late the other night, woke up early, had to crash again for a few hours after and was suddenly tired early in the evening...
Yeah I would say not! Also I apparently have no patience with people whatsoever when I'm tired. Always fun to realize that. |
Quote:
honestly i've been sleeping better lately than i have for the past 5 years, being that it's easier for me to get up now and not quite as draining as it used to be. i tend to wake up constantly throughout the night everytime i go to sleep and usually feel the consequences... but for the past couple months i haven't been feeling those negative effects? not really sure what changed, but i'm not complaining! |
Quote:
|
I'm just out of it when I'm tired. I'm only cranky when something pisses me off.
|
Having a schedule is tough for me, unless my hand is forced or I'm getting something good in return for my change. A nice job, volunteer work, etc will have me up.
Actually, most of the money I'm making wakes me up at my house for service if I'm asleep. Knock on the door, I'm there. :P |
Quote:
Except I uh used it to make tea. Plenty of tea. I think it was some kind of pomegranate green tea. No coffee for me whatsoever. I don't think I can use caffeine as a pick me up anyway, it doesn't seem to affect me like that. |
My creativity comes out when I get tired. And when I start lacking sleep the ideas just keep hitting me. It's like an automatic in my head. And it never stops.
|
Quote:
I'll be like okay yeah I'm tired I'll go to sleep. Nope I can't sleep because suddenly my mind is giving me all these ideas oh god no where's something I can write on ahhh. And even if I don't write anything down, I have to get back up and distract myself because my mind will just not shut up. So aggravating! Quote:
That's actually a thing? o.O Mind blown. All I tried making with that one was hot tea! |
The worst thing is when you get an idea and you're like "Oh damn that's the best idea I've ever had! Let me think about this for a minute, if..." And then it just leaves.
|
I always write my ideas in my phone's memo pad app.
|
If I have an idea that I know I'm committed to, it just stays in my head forever. Very rarely do I use memos to memorize stuff. :P
|
Quote:
also I know this is a couple days late but yea they were literally all wrinkles. but ronnie wood shook my hand and jagger flirted with my teacher, so that was really cool in line with current discussion, yea memos are great for idea preservation. ill wake up from a great night of partying and see a couple notes of scattered thoughts, some pretty advanced, and usually really dark lol |
Quote:
i have to write things down almost immediately otherwise i'll forget.. it sucks. 8I i'll be scrambling all around wherever i'm at like a frantic squirrel looking for something to jot on. Quote:
|
I wish I had a creative flow like that, lol
I'm a lot more wired and logical about my activities than other people are, generally... and I guess I do have a creative knack. But it has to come from a certain place. also jeez louise this place is going fast :D |
@Lady Gaga, that must have been an honor to sing with the Rolling Stones! In front of that many people as well!
I like their music, but I can't even imagine how different they sound today compared to the 60s/70s lmao |
Lady Gaga's here? Holy crap it's been so long!
|
Oh my, Lady gaga is a part of these forums? How strange.

I dont know, I wouldn't say dark as in brooding and depressive, but dark more as in I kind of realize in those early hours of the morning how magnificent existence and the universe is, and how our part in it is at the same time essential and inconsequential. & Tsutarja, it was the biggest honour of my life. I basically learned their entire discography leading up to the concert, and honestly, they sound the exact same. jagger still has the energy of a five year old. but keith's solos are definitely wiser as he has aged, if that makes any sense. |

Right now I'm getting sick again, and I'm tired too... I think I'll lie down.
Hopefully the Alliance won't oppress rural Independents, put building entrances on my permanent record, and stick 20 needles in my eyes and ask me what I see |

Unless they're Budweisers. Those are garbage.
|
Audy, if you want this thread to make sense right now, you'll have to drink at least five more.
|
I could actually go for something alcoholic right now.
But not beers. Hm. |
you know what they say, when in doubt smoke it out.
i can understand this thread about 60% better. |
I actually like the Staten Island "Dark and Mild" beer
Hurray for micro-breweries! |
Beer is definitely not my drink of choice. Give me some vodka or jager and I'll be good.
|
I can't stand any alcoholic beverages. They all taste like piss, or at least what I assume piss would taste like.
|
It's oddly the smell that puts me off, rather than the taste. Then again, I wouldn't drink alcohol even if I was forced to...
|
Beer is alright. Strong drinks burn through my throat, though. And most stronger things are just so sweet.
|
When I just think about the taste of alcohol I get sick, but actually drinking it is much different. Just the other day I was eating some salted caramel peanuts and all I could think about was the one time I was at my dad's bar and these two chicks kept buying me salted caramel shots. It made me want to throw up.
|
I've never had alcohol before.
I'm boring, I know. |
Alcohol is gross, just the smell makes me want to vomit.
|
I use alcohol to clean things and quench my reactions in the lab. Drinking it? I guess it's starting to lose its appeal for me. A beer or two is nice, but I have nightmares about getting too drunk these days.

I've had booze once or twice. It was pretty fun, but I don't want to do it hardly, for my own safety. D:
|
I turn 21 tomorrow so I can't wait to get legally smashed to the extreeeeme!
I'm taking work off the next day to say the least. |
You have the same birthday as my uncle-in-law, then, Matt. :3
|
Quote:
|
Legally getting smashed at 18 is much better then at 21. At 18 you're still stupid enough to not consider anything, so you learn how to drink properly at an earlier age. At 21 its just straight up a chore to learn how much you're body can take and what you like.
|
I left my foot on the surface of my chair, and now my skin is cleanly pressed into the shape of the metal mesh. :o
I could pass this off as a disease in a photo lol Maybe I could go on Wikipedia and upload it as an example of some disease you wouldn't touch with a 75-foot pole |

Yeah, I don't have a phone atm that can take pictures. Normally I'd use my mother's but she's at work rn :/
|
Even my old Razr phone had a camera on it.. although I would have had to use up data to send it to someone or even get it onto my computer off of my phone.
|
I feel naked without a phone. Then I couldn't talk to my friends.
|
Quote:
It being in cash means I have to wait until my mother gets paid so she can take it instead of withdrawing... the woes of having a credit union seven states away. The phone I want isn't even that pricy anyway, actually. The second one I bought I got new for $80, and my original was over $200... |
I couldn't care less about all your fancy ePhones and Sam songs. Lenovo's the cool thing these days
|
What exactly is Lenovo? I hear the word thrown about a lot lately as though it should mean something but I have no clue what.
|

I still have somewhat of a bias against Motorola since the days when everybody had a Nokia and my friend had a Motorola because he wanted to defy trend, and it kept breaking and messing up.
|
I know Motorola does phone things, but I've never heard anything about them outside internetforums...
|
How does one exactly buy out IBM?
|
They say "hey IBM, nobody's heard of you since the late 80s, can we have your photocopy machines and staff?"
|
They're Lenovo, I guess.
I thought Lenovo was a brand of IBM, lmao IBM financed the womb of the IT Industry, they were computers before the microprocessor and invested into the thing to make it happen on top of that... they played such a critical role in the advent of modern PCs. Kind of disheartening knowing they were acquired :/ |
Well I guess but I mean, what have they done for us lately? I didn't know IBM was even still a thing.
|
I own a Nokia phone, but I only use it to call my family and to take pictures.
|
*doesn't read a single post*
Hey guys! What are we chatting about today!!! XDD |
Panda's doing yoga. You know, the usual stuff.
|
the only type of nokia phone that i know is 3310. it became famous for a while due to a couple things...
http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/502/883/d07.jpg i mean, clearly the science is there. |

^ that image is so fucking true.

My first phone was a newer Nokia phone(at the time). I think it was the first Nokia phone with a colored screen? I'm not sure, that was in middle school -w-;

My first was one that you could fold open, and the only thing remember from it is that you had a game in which you launched a cowboy and had to keep him flying.
|
i feel somewhat left out because the best phone i've ever had looked something like this:
http://www.lg.com/us/images/cell-phones/vx8300/gallery/medium10.jpg ... but free texting so that's good! |
I'm listening to Abba right now. I came from the Village People and the Weather Girls before that. It's a lot of fun.
|
I think The Village people is the most "wrong" from that list.
|

I love Abba's hits, and so does my mother. Usually my mother dislikes talking about music, but I bet that if anybody mentions Abba in front of her, she'd be interested.
|
It reminds me of FM radio, if that's any idea of how young I was when I listened to this stuff initially. :P

ABBA changed music more than The Beatles
|
Nokia changed music forever, I say on my ABBA phone
|
Right now not a whole lot of anything's changing because apparently YouTube is broken...
I'm stuck on a chiptune mix on Soundcloud D: |

I freaking love the iPhone. I don't find myself switching back to android anytime soon. It's amazing.

I don't want a non-iPhone if I don't have to switch. I loved my iPhone 4 to bits (literally ;;) and I enjoy my iPhone 5s too, even if I thought the 4 looked better and was a better size for my tiny fingers 8) |
I love my iPhone 4S, but I wouldn't mind switching to a Samsung galaxy or whatever - it just wouldn't feel right I guess.
I'm not really too fussed about getting anything new atm. As long as I can access internets and apps and stuff I'm happy. |

I never had an activated cell phone. Only unlocked ones that can only do whatever I can with wifi. I plan on getting one this year though.

Originally I was just going to take my 5th Gen iPod to work as well (it's 32GB memory) to watch TV shows on there but my phone has a bigger screen so I was just screw it, I can handle deleting & downloaded every couple of days or so. |
Quote:
Aren't they making a Gen 6 iPod soon or is Gen 5 final? |
I'm just sitting here wondering why on Earth people pay out the ass for iPhones when I have a $120 Samsung Galaxy Reverb that's done everything I need it to for two and a half years
Reading the convo here tells me the features you guys are paying for aren't really helping for your money. 4G is a data connection that you use when you're not connected to wi-fi, and unless you're downloading large data files (which you should be using ethernet for anyway) 3G works. An SD card is a great solution to a lack of phone storage, if your phone has a slot (it should). ;) My phone doubled as a music player with a 16GB SD card holding all of my stuff. Never looking at space trouble, and definitely not looking at a beefier phone for that. XD Speaking of which, I need to buy another one. I crushed my old one over something a month or two ago, didn't I? |
Quote:
That being said, I'm not replacing my 5S even when my contract allows me to get an upgrade. I see not reason to use it as even though it glitches from time to time, it's only a minor nuisance. I really see no reason for upgrading unless my phone gets run over by a lawn mower (which...I've done before lol.) |
