I never had the joy of owning a dog.

Only cats. Many cats.

Centipede Chan March 31st, 2015 1:52 PM

I've had two dogs in my life and like 8 cats in life. The one dog I was too young to remember but my second dog was amazing. I miss her so much ;~;

I really wish at times that's how mine was!

But nope, I got the chatty cat. He meows at you to feed him, and then when he's done with that he meows at you to get your attention for whatever reason. Sometimes to play, sometimes for reasons I don't even know why.

sometimes i wish i'd ended up with cats who follow their stereotype..

all of my cats (four) are very hellbent on being in my business all the time and every single one of them are incredibly chatty. i actually have to block my cats out of my room (my door doesn't close) with my laundry basket at night to keep them out. sometimes even that doesn't work and they'll insist on pushing my door open to get in here and lay on my bed. :I;

the first thing they do everytime they come in here is walk right up to me and beg to be under my hand for at least 30 minutes. seriously. who has ever heard of a cat that just constantly wants to be held and loved on, much less four of them??

Do it!, having a dog since he/she is a puppy, is one of the best things ever. Dogs are so loyal, haha.

I would consider it if I lived in a larger place. I don't even know if dogs are allowed in this building (cats are, but I doubt dogs are, as I've never seen one around here).

I would want a larger breed if I ever got one, though. <3

Mine doesn't tend to bother me when I'm in bed, except sometimes in the morning when he insists on falling asleep on my legs. I'd rather he do that than start yelling at me though.

Me going into the bathroom, however? He has to follow. And the door here doesn't close shut all that well so it's very easy for him to push it open and just argh. Then he'll start doing stuff like trying to knock things into the sink or off the counter and it's like go away cat.

And if I'm doing something at my computer? Oh that's the perfect time to lie on my hands!

We have both cat and dogs and as much as I love my dog, I have always considered myself a cat person. They are so much more calm and very relaxing to be around. My dog is always full of energy and gets mad if I don't want to play haha. All my cat ever wants is food and occasionally to sit in my lap.

Never again (to be fair, my mother was fond of them, I wasn't because they'd never shut up ._.).

I always wanted one growing up but my parents always said hell no :(

Sylphiel March 31st, 2015 4:09 PM

I had a cockatiel at one time when I was a young kid, along with...either a canary or a budgie, all I remember is it was a yellow bird, but both were given away when we moved. :( All my pets at that time were given away.

My dream pet is actually a parrot of some kind. The only problem is, I'm well aware I wouldn't be able to give it the attention it needs, so. No parrots for me. Not to mention the price of them holy crap.

Sirfetch’d March 31st, 2015 4:14 PM

Yeah they do require a lot of time an attention. Again, this is why cats are such great pets because of how easy they are to raise :D

Foxrally April 1st, 2015 12:03 AM

Cats are so awesome :3 I remember though when I was about 11 I had a kitten which I named fly-catcher (she loved to swing at flies and mosquitoes, sometimes knocking over stuff). She used to cuddle up with me in bed and sleep on my chest. One day I woke up with my shirt soaking wet, and I thought I had drooled on it, but you can guess what it actually was :I

Have you seen my kitten in our staff pet thread, Chase? :D:D or snapchat! I snapcat too much, apparently. She is fluffball cuteball loveball.

Cats are amazing.

I feel like being bubbly cray like Meenah when I'm wearing her as an avatar, this can't be good.

I was this way for a while. Had a slew of cats, loved them all. They played outside, all went to the bathroom in the gravel, Mama cat was always pregnant, there were always adolescents or adults or kittens to play with at all times, and since Mama cat pumped out so many boys there were plenty of scuffles and social drama too

But we lost our house, they all went to the pound/junkyard, and when I went to Colorado I got to know Robin's basset hound and Joey's Jack Russell Terrier. The first one is so slow and stinky but so pitiful and cute, and the second one is a fiesty bundle of energy – sometimes he'd go on what we called a Jack Russell Dash. We had cats then too, Yeller and Bela and Mo and Goldie. It's so much fun to see the basset hound and the terrier play together! Jackson would do laps around Minnie and Minnie would just slowly face around to where Jackson was and bark. It's so funny seeing a basset hound run :P

When we moved to Security we had a bunch of chihuahua mixes (with one small pure), who were fun. Shay Shay was really old and a little mischievous when she's not missing, Davy is a bundle of energy and would make a mad dash bouncing down the yard to bark at people on the other side of the fence. Finally Frankie, the purebreed, was a tiny little dog that we'd get a Lion's cut for during the summer. He was constantly ready to piss himself in nervousness, poor thing. Unlike the others he did not stink, so I petted him a lot like Puffers, the old cat we had with them. Puffers died this past winter, at 21 years old. He loved me :(

It looks like April Fools just activated itself around here.

Ice April 1st, 2015 2:53 AM

I really don't like it :/

Zeffy April 1st, 2015 2:55 AM

Lots of people don't like lots of other things, too.

Lycanthropy April 1st, 2015 3:01 AM

I don't like it either, it costs more effort to read posts and copying questions and things like that copy the weird words too, which will make them last later too. Really annoying and therefore an excellent April Fools joke.

But I think I'll just come back here tomorrow...

Dter ic April 1st, 2015 3:01 AM

It wasn't as obvious as last year what would PC do today for APril fools, then I saw Inyotef's post :P

Serious Discussion is going to be lots of fun.

I just noticed we set a new record for most members online two days ago. Bravo us!

Hikamaru April 1st, 2015 4:55 AM

I think I'm starting to notice what this year's April Fools theme is... it's some words in posts getting intentionally misspelled. I'm a little bit disappointed there, since I was hoping for something more epic... but still I recall last year's one was not much either.

Oh and it looks like when someone quotes me my name says "Hikaberu". What the heck?

Hikamaru April 1st, 2015 5:07 AM

Why is this weird dog grinning at me it's so freaky ahhhhh

Winter April 1st, 2015 5:40 AM

Kind of an annoying prank this year but then pranks are supposed to be annoying xD

Has anyone prank or was pranked today? I know I pranked a lot of friends and teachers today hehehe.
