The Tirtouga/Carracosta line will always be my favorite fossil! They're super-cute turtles, plus they're awesome and fun to use! After that, Cranidos comes in second place for the reasons I mentioned a few posts ago. (Although I admittedly forgot that Tirtouga was a Rock-type when I made that post... go me! xD) |
15
Now you mention it, there exist a lot of turtles in the Pokémon world, Tirtouga, Squirtle, Golem, Turtwig, Shuckle, Torkoal and possibly some others I forgot to mention. |

They have a turtleish shell and can retract their heads and limbs, so seems pretty turtle to me. I think Squirtle's family might even be the one I like the least of them, which is a bit odd, because starters are quite loved in general. |
16
Turtles are incredibly popular, two of them are even starters! |

Turtles are great ♥ I don't think there is a turtle pokemon that I don't like. |
16
Tirtouga was a really awesome one, I always loved how Marriland calls it a "derpy turtle". Aquilavus from his Black Wedlocke made me love it even more, and I remember feeling sad when he died to a trainer's Accelgor on Route 10. Damn 4x Grass weakness getting the better of him. |
17
Quadruple weaknesses are often instantly fatal. Something that's just as annoying is when the opponent can do a super effective draining move. My mono-ice team couldn't do a thing against a Drain Punch Pangoro. |
18.
At those times, you'd wish for Ice/Poison, Ice/Bug, and good Ice/Flying Pokemon. |
17
Yeah, 4x weaknesses suck, especially when doing monotypes because that usually means the rest of your team probably isn't very good at countering whatever type it you're going up against either. |
16
I mostly try to avoid 4x weaknesses, however there are some with designs so awesome I couldn't say no to using them. |
17
I think some Pokémon are quite solid despite having a single 4x weakness. Usually they're quite bulky or strong if other types deal with them, which makes these Pokémon sort of like All-or-nothing types. Scizor and Heracross are one of the prime examples of that. |
16
As shown with the likes of Heracross and Scizor there, a 4x weakness doesn't stop some of the best competitive Pokemon around. |
17
I remember using Leavanny in Black 2 and it became one of my favourites to use. Initially I was put off by the double x4 weakness, but aside that it helped out in so many tough battles. |
18
I've always loved Magnemite, despite its ×4 weakness to ground. Its electric and steel type attacks can't hit ground Pokémon well, so there's no reason to use it against ground types. I don't think I've ever played without water type Pokémon on my main team because of Surf (aside solo challenges), so that's covered. |
16
I am absolutely not sure. |

It's slower than Golem and I doubt its 55 base defense can resist a STAB super effective Stone Edge. Even if, Golem's Sturdy prevents it to be KO'd instantly. |
16
Are you talking about this game's list? Well, according to the OP, he did make it, sorry to disappoint. |
17
The current Pokemon is Geodude.... right? WHOOPS, it was Golem. Still voting up, though. Not a bad Pokemon. And that's really up to everyone else. Just hope that everyone likes or dislikes Paras as much as you do. |
15
Keep this number going down yo |
14
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Golem. I think that a cooler Pokemon could've been created to be Geodude's final evolution. |
13
I don't know why I upvoted, but yeah I've never really been a fan of Golem. |
12
Golem used to scare me as a kid :( |
11
Really? I think Golem was quite good. The issue is that you can't get this dude straight away, except on somewhere in Pokémon Emerald, iirc. If not, you have to trade for it (which is no good for me back then) |
12
I'm surprised to see that people don't like a rock turtle thingy. |
