Yeah, I'm a big Game Grumps fan, too. |
282
Whatever works, I guess |
283
That was mildly amusing. |
|
285
If only I wasn't poor BOY, WOULD BE NICE IF I COULD ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME |

I just got the last two Inazuma Eleven GO games. Ehehehe....ehehehe....eheheheheheheheheheheheehehehehehehehe eheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheh eheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheh eheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheh eheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheeheheheheheheheheheheheeheheh Needless to say, I'm very happy. Steam Sale be damned, THIS is my Summer. That said, they nicked the side of my GO2 case. I am not pleased. Not pleased at all. |
Dammit Macho, stop breaking the thread

Huh? That time I made sure to reach exactly to the forum's limits (ie just before side-scrolling is a thing). It's your guys' faults for using anything other than Dawn of Champions! Heck, even styles of similar width would work. |
288
Yaaaaaas. Dammit, I've bought five console games this week already. I knew this was happening too, but when it happens it hits hard. Any good deals on interesting games yet? Only thing I've seen so far would be Valkyria Chronicles. |
Quote:
So far, other than Valk Chron: Tales from the Borderlands (which I have yet to play, but want), Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, Papers Please, Mirror's Edge (possibly, could be and has been cheaper), and XCOM (NOT THE BUREAU) are standout daily/flash titles. |
290
Cool, so stuff I either already have or that ain't my thing. Then I can lay low till the next flash sales. A buddy and I are keeping our eyes peeled for Divinity: Original Sin. We gonna nolife that this summer. |
291
I think you guys might be interested in this as well, as I've survived many a Steam sale and lived to tell the tale: Spoiler:
|
292
I don't think there's anything on sale that i'm interested in ;-; I'm so flaky with games :< |
293
That's actually why sales like this are dangerous for me. I don't really like specific genres so much as there being very few genres I don't like. Veeery few. Maybe, like, one or two. Some entice me more them others, but I look more for what a game does than what a game is. Which is a problem, because that means there are a boatload of games that interest me and never enough money to get them all. Worse, I've mostly stopped pirating, so it can hurt. |
294. Sales like this are dangerous to my wallet because I like to hoard games.
|
295 I know some people like that. x_x I only have a relatively small handfull of games on steam, and that's aboot it :3
|
296
Got 779 games here, though the growth rate has slowed exponentially, recently. Mainly because I've taken a different personal stance on owning games. I don't particularly expect to buy much this sale, but I do expect to see some good deals. |
297
I have a question, have you beaten (or at least played) each one? o.o |
298
Lolno. I play on a desire basis, but since it's basically a library I sometimes just pick out titles I'm curious about. This said, the ones that I play the most are always the ones I specifically wanted beforehand. Games like Long Live the Queen, Half-Minute Hero, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Spelunky, The Stanley Parable- all of which I highly recommend, those have a lot of time put into them. Ones I wanted just for the sake of having them don't, same for bundle buys that I didn't particularly care for. Kinda why I buy less games nowadays: to limit what I have and buy mainly only what I want to play rather than what I want in a broader sense. |
299
Do you still give those 'other' games a chance? Most games in my library I have played and put some effort into. But some i only like to play with friends, so my time in them are super low (like FORCED). |
I have a library of around 50-60 games and I haven't played all of them. :v

Well that's a big question. Delving into a game I don't know much about takes motivation and interest, and since I have so many it's not really a matter of simply giving them chances. It's like...simply owning a game isn't motivation enough for me to want to play it. For me to want to play it, it has to impress me in various ways. This all sounds...snooty, really, but it's basically like being in an actual library and picking out a random book. Books and Games generally can't have a full opinion formed of them until they're delved into to some extent, unlike shows and movies where you can judge its worth relatively early on. Also different, in the case of the latter, you're making an effort to do so, while in the case of the former you can just sit down and watch. And that's really the thing, the idea of "effort" impacts "motivation" in the face of the unknown, and if the presentation of the game/book isn't that great, motivation will ultimately be low. Similarly, Low motivation can impact judgement, which is never good. In such a scenario, even gems and masterpieces can be deemed shit, ultimately. So...short answer, sometimes. If I'm bored enough and just randomly look through for something that sounds interesting. It's not often, but it's always there so there's no real need to do it constantly. |

I tend to give most games in my library a chance There's plenty I replay (Prototype, Jedi Outcast/Academy, Half-Life, New Vegas) And then there's those that just don't work (GTA IV/Episodes, Hydrophobia) And those I have no idea how to play (Magica, Tropico, etc) |
301
Did some checking. I have a Steam library of 118 games. 30 of them are currently installed. 44 have play time on record. 27 of those have more than two hours of playtime. 11 have more than ten hours. 6 have more than twenty. Then the two most played make quite the spike. Spoiler:
I guess I like that genre. Anyway, it's clear to see that I won't play much of a PC game unless it's with friends. The only single player game out of those six is Dragon Age. |
