Though, like you said, if ghosts constantly say boo! between 50 and 100 and never let it reach hundred then it'll be annoying, wouldn't it? So eventually I'm sure you'll get it get to 100 to keep the game flowing. It's how it happened in the past. ;)

Guardian March 28th, 2015 11:17 AM

Yeah you're right. I guess we'll see. Everything related to ghosts is never certain. One moment, there's no one, the next moment you know, plates are flying towards you lol.

Btw in Pokemon: Guardian signs there is an abandoned house, and plates are actually flying towards you when you first enter it lol.

Btw#2, did you guys like the Pokemon Tower episode? It's my favorite one. Or in top 5 for sure.

Meadow March 28th, 2015 11:34 AM

53.

Wow, a ghost already? That was fast... As for the Pokémon Tower episode, I liked it, but I still think the Litwick Mansion episode is one of the best fillers ever made (especially the subbed version). xD

blue March 28th, 2015 11:42 AM

I watched The Pokemon Tower episode quite recently as I started watching the Indigo League on Netflix. You really do forget how good the series was back then.

Astinus March 28th, 2015 11:48 AM

55

You really do forget just how different the anime was back then. The few times I went back to watch it, there was just more of a sense of mystery and "going into the unknown" adventure about it. Maybe because it was so brand-new to me at the time, and I hold onto that because of the nostalgia. If I watch the current season of the anime, it might feel different because I know so much about Pokemon.

I think the Orange Islands season has all of my favorite fillers. None of them were boring to me.

Guardian March 28th, 2015 11:57 AM

56

I'll agree with you on that one Astinus. It definitely had a lot more mystery. it was a lot more unpredictable.
Nowadays I could even predict which Pokemon will win.
The only thing that is unpredictable now is Team Rocket. You know someone will blast them away, but that's the only thing you know lol.

The Orange Islands saga was amazing. Agree that every episode was interesting and I found myself hooked before I knew it, wanting to rewatch them all constantly. The badge matches were really fun, too, and I'm a little upset that we don't have gyms like that nowadays. Ash just comes in and challenges the leader. What about all those traps we have in the games?? :(

BOO! Fear my ghostly powers. I'm resetting it now quickly just so we can build up another ghost or two before we hit 100 - based on what Sora said I think we should keep the 100 posts event but there's not a lot of point reaching it right now with only two ghosts so let's recruit some more undeads!

Mm The Orange Islands really were a cool arc, I loved all the different kinds of 'battles' they introduced and you're right the badge matches really were a lot of fun to watch. Plus some of his Pokémon underwent such cool development stories during that arc, I loved the whole thing ♥

Guardian March 28th, 2015 12:14 PM

Nah, he'd probably fall in every one of those and still get the badges.

Did anyone notice how most of his Pokemon just come to him, he barelly puts an effort to catch them

And did anyone notice how in one episode he had beaten a WILD SWAMPERT, and just figured he should go further?! I'll never forgive him that, who does that!

I keep forgetting to put the number in.
Thanks Squirrel, may the scaring begin!

Meadow March 28th, 2015 2:17 PM

2.

Well, that's Ash for you haha. It does seem that they'll be giving him some more character development in XY (to make up for BW Ash), but I doubt he'll receive as much development as Serena or Citron. Oh, well. Some is better than nothing, after all.

Squirrel March 28th, 2015 2:21 PM

3

Has the XY anime been worth watching so far? I didn't give it a chance after the BW2 arc got so dull XD

Meadow March 28th, 2015 2:32 PM

4.

Ohoho, don't let that throw you off! xD The writers may have stopped caring about Best Wishes, but they're really giving it their all with XY. My only problems with it so far are the lagginess from episodes 11 to 25 and the problems I have with the rest of the Pokémon anime as a whole.

It's a shame that they didn't re-attempt the approach they took with the first 24 episodes of Best Wishes, but at least they're holding strong in a unique way!

Guardian March 28th, 2015 2:39 PM

5 I keep forgetting the number ugh!

I dont know. I keep delaying. I havent watched anything after third gen except for few Diamong/Pearl episodes. Im planning on doing a huge Pokemon marathon and watch all the episodes in a year or two. Im waiting for the best moment though, Pokemon are too precious to just be watched like any other random anime lol.

Meadow March 28th, 2015 2:47 PM

6.

That's understandable, but it's actually a lot easier to watch them while they're still airing, haha. If you let them accumulate, then it'll take a heck of a lotta willpower to actually watch them through. xD

/speaking from experience

Guardian March 28th, 2015 2:59 PM

7

Oh I dont need willpower for that. Im genuinely looking forward to it. I love Pokemon anime to the point where I could, without any problem, rewatch same episodes over and over. Mostly cos of Team Rocket ...and Misty :c come back pls?
But yeah, 800+ episodes is in fact a lot to watch at once but oh well, we'll see how it goes.

I keep freaking clickinv the next to last page on theads. >:0

Anyway, I don't follow what's gling on here at all but it seems to be 'let's rewatch every Pokemon episode in existence.'

blue March 28th, 2015 4:04 PM

9

I'm about 20 episodes into the Indigo League, but the fact that there's another 800+ episodes after that is kinda daunting.

Meadow March 28th, 2015 4:08 PM

10.

Haha, imagine you watched one episode per week for 800 weeks. How many years will it be until you're finished? xD

Heck, even if you watched one per day, it'll still take you well over two years. O_O

Squirrel March 28th, 2015 5:55 PM

11

Yeah that's quite a scary thought pahaha. I would rather just no-life it and watch them all over the space of a week, that sounds like a really good week to me :D

Meadow March 28th, 2015 6:00 PM

12.

Oh, nooooo it isn't. xD Believe me, I've done this multiple times before (with Yu-Gi-Oh, which I love more than Pokémon), and my life was absolutely miserable. Unless I happen to be the odd one out, I would never recommend it, haha.

alisaie March 28th, 2015 7:20 PM

13.

Guys stop having anime conversations without me gosh. :(

getting through Indigo and Orange League took me.... idk since I took a twomonth break near the indigo league lmfao. But the Orange League itself I believe took me two-three days. And the amount I did watch of Johto took me about one-two weeks? Between having work and such. And I think I actually only have like ten episodes left of Johto so it's just a matter of.... sitting down and finding time to watch them.

DyingWillFlareon March 28th, 2015 8:23 PM

14

I used to have Boomerang, so I watched a Kanto/Johto episode every day, then we got rid of a lot of channels on our cable including that so I had the DP anime and newer Unova episodes on Cartoon Network. Then I missed all but 3 episodes of XY. I now have Netflix though. :0
Also I was watching a BW episode with my brothers and it was the FLIPPING LAST EPISODE WHERE IRIS AND CILAN LEFT AND THE ONE AFTER THAT I WASN'T EXPECTING IT. *angry sigh*

alisaie March 28th, 2015 10:39 PM

15.

Ughhh I know how that feels when you watch something and it ends up being the end of the season or series or whatever. It's not so much with some shows, but it just doesn't work with Pokemon I don't think. To be honest knowing that he's going to lose every league is probably why I keep slowing down when I get closer to every league other than the Orange one hahaha.

Foxrally March 29th, 2015 12:36 AM

16!

Oooh, fancy ghost thread! I call dibs on Golurk :3

You guys should totally watch Legend of Korra BTW. It's the first thing that comes up to mind when I think of a series :D

Lycanthropy March 29th, 2015 1:26 AM

17

Although, I admit the Legend of Korra is a good series, it has nothing to do with Pokémon and we can't really go deep into it, at least not on this forum.
