You understand and tell her not to worry about it. She wishes you good luck, kisses you, then Teleports with Alakazam. Skyla then asks you if you want to go to the City in the Sky's Air Cannon Festival. Since you still remember being fired from the cannon in Skyla's Gym and landing face first on the wall, you respectfully decline. Skyla and Oak then leave to check out the festival. You decide to get your Pokemon from the park and go see what Serena is doing. To your surprise, you see Serena battling...

You tell the Mesprit that Oak gave you a device earlier that allows you to access your PC Pokemon whenever you feel like it without needing a PC (illegal in trainer battles, obviously). Mesprit then tells you that the culprit is still in the City in the Sky, so you need to go back there. After doing that, Serena is once again being attacked, this time by the same thing that shocked out the Chandelure. It turns out to be...

...Clair, the Johto Gym Leader (not to be confused with Claire). Clair apologizes for the attacks and says she is trying to control the Haxorus, but they keep attacking people at random. Even after Clair caught all of them, they just broke out of their Balls and kept attacking. You ask Pyra to look into their minds to see the problem. Pyra tells you that all she can see is black smoke...just like the one that was controlling the Masked Man! Pyra manages to exorcise the smoke from the three Haxorus and free them from the cloud's control. Just like last time, the black smoke flew off before anyone could stop it. Clair thanks Pyra for freeing the poor Haxorus, and then goes back to the Pokemon Center to heal them. You then realize that all this battling has made you hungry, so you, Serena, Claire, and Winona decide to go eat at the nearby restaurant. However, the restaurant is closed because...

You agree and wish the day would hurry up and end so tomorrow's Gym Battle can begin already. You get your wish via a time skip, so it's already the next day. Before entering the Gym, you decide to use Elizabeth (Nidoqueen) for Sheer Force boosted Thunderbolt and Ice Beam, as well as the two newbies Kira (Mawile) and Slifer (Salamence) for resistance and sheer power, respectively. You accept this explanation. The first asks what type of Pokemon Swanna is? You answer the 'White Bird' Pokemon. The questions get progressively harder until the Final Question asks 'Who is your best friend?' You answer 'Claire' almost immediately. The system tells you you got 100% and you may pass. After barely tanking one last Hidden Power, Kira OHKOs Articuno with Iron Head. Winona sends out Altaria. Elizabeth almosts KOes with Sludge Wave, and Altaria gets Poisoned and faints to the Poison damage. This is a really lucky thing to happen, since Winona was just about to take out a Full Restore. Slifer faints with a smile on his face, knowing that he helped weaken the mighty dragon for a teammate to finish off. NO! SLIFER, YOU CAN'T BE DE...oh wait, you don't have Nuzlocke, so Slifer only fainted. You send out Kira to finish it off. She also tells you that whilst she will be able to accompany your party through Victory Road once you reach the League she will be waiting in the Final Room and you will have to beat all four of the Elite Four...she pauses for a moment and takes off her glasses 'Then you will face me.' She hugs him and then kisses him. It's about time! Suddenly, one of the guards tell you that someone tried to crash your party. It's Ash and Pikachu. Serena begins to cry and run to him, hugging him. She had thought that he died in the Lumiose Zombie Attack. Seeing as Ash is a friend of Serena, you allow him to stay this time. Serena asks how Ash survived, since she saw him surrounded by zombies with no way to escape. Everyone seems interested in hearing this story (except Marshall and Pyra, who are now making out in the back). Ash says that it all started when...

The Red hatted trainer was outnumbered but the combined force of all his Pokémon helped stem the tide before Pikachu lighting up Lumiose Tower blinded the zombies momentarily which bought enough time to allow Sceptile to cut them all down. (This brings a collective cheer from all the Grass Pokémon present and Erika). Serena kisses Ash for his heroics and says she will rejoin him in travelling, Ash kisses her back. Claire seemingly upset leaves the room and as ordered by your wife you go to see what's wrong. You ask her and she says that despite bring recognised as the Region's Strongest Trainer and an expert on Pokemon behaviour she is upset that she is not in a relationship and everyone else seems to be. Saddened somewhat at hearing your friend sound upset you reassure her by saying...

Until then, it's best to focus on the things that makes her happy instead of things that make her upset. She thanks you for these kind words of encouragement. Back at the party, everyone is listening to Giratina's story of that time when Arceus created Pokemon football. The very first game was Giratina, Dialga, Azelf, and Darkrai, versus Palkia, Mesprit, Uxie, and Cresselia. Mesprit accused Darkrai of cheating by making the entire opposing team drowsy with Dark Void. Darkrai claimed it did no such thing and Mesprit was just trying to disqualify Darkrai's team because Mesprit was just jealous. Eventually, a big fight broke out between both teams, and Arceus had to resolve it by...

She'll meet that special someone eventually. Suddenly, the loud echoing voice that protects the fourth wall spoke from the heavens and complained that this was starting to become a bad soap opera. You find two golden rocks on the floor and smash them with a hammer. The voice then screams in pain. Sabrina asks you to do it again if the voice keeps complaining. The voice promises to behave and then vanishes. The next morning, you, Sabrina, Claire, Serena, and Ash (who is also headed to the Pokemon League) start to climb the stairs that lead to Victory Road. Before entering Victory Road, Serena asks you...

Claire tells you they are 'Walking Pokémon' which means they spend nearly all their time walking with their trainer even though they do often sleep inside their Pokeball. Joey yells that it should not be possible, and then accuses you of cheating. You tell him that since you actually bother to train your Pokemon, Pyra had the clear advantage, and calling her skills and power cheating is an insult. Joey then runs off. You notice that so far, a lot of the trainers in Victory Road are far weaker than they should be. You suspect that something's wrong. Suddenly, you find a treasure chest. The Chesnaught smashes into Golem with Drain Punch, while Golem countered with Fire Punch. Another Drain Punch, and Golem is down. ...a shiny Absol. It tells you that there is a great disaster that will soon happen. It recommends you turn back, for the safety of both you and the rest of the group. You tell the Absol that, as much as you appreciate the warning, you have to get to the Pokemon League. The Absol warns that everyone there will die unless they leave now. You ask the Absol why. According to the Absol, an ancient and powerful force is slowly approaching the League and its evil power is far too much for any living thing to endure. You promise the Absol that if anything does happen, you'll save as many lives as you can. Absol wishes you luck on your foolish goal and runs off. Claire is worried about the League, so she calls Marshall (the Elite 4, not your Chesnaught) to check up on things. He says that everything is just fine. It's the same demonic voice that possessed the Masked Man! Introducing itself as The Darkness, The Darkness applauds your efforts to try and stop it. It says, however, that you are wasting your time. While you were getting your last Badge and battling through Victory Road, The Darkness was harvesting the innate darkness inside the hearts of humanity and Pokemon worldwide. It then tells you to look up. You see a massive black cloud surrounding the League. It's so massive, the entire sky is black. Elite Four Marshall his voice now calm thanks you for eradicating the dark cloud and informs you that his numerous Conkeldurr will work around the clock to rebuild the League Building. ...that the two of you need a vacation after all the craziness that happened. Your wife tells you that she'd love nothing more than to...KILL YOU! It's The Darkness, and it possessed Sabrina! But how did it survive? The Darkness explains that you and Claire overlooked the fact that it was still possessing its vessel when the Hyper Beam destroyed the black cloud, allowing a piece of it to survive. It had simply pretended to die and free its victims so that everyone would drop their guard, which would make them that much easier to kill. It then goes on to say that even if you did find the rest of it and destroy the numerous fragments of its soul, it wouldn't matter. As long as there is darkness in the hearts of humans and Pokemon, it will exist forever. Then, it warns you that once its full strength returns, it will kill your friends before killing you. You take out your red bracelet to destroy it and free Sabrina, but it already left her body. After making sure Sabrina wasn't harmed or possessed anymore, you quickly call the others on your Pokegear to warn them that The Darkness is still alive. Sabrina asks what you will do now. You say...

Ash starts to get frustrated and sends out his Pidgeot aa you quickly switch to Slifer. After some impressive Aerial combat the exhausted Kanto Bird too faints. Ash starts to laugh as he sends out Charizard and Mega Evolves it into Mega Charizard X but as Slifer is faster it uses Dragon Claw which seriously wounds the Kanto Starter. Charizard uses Outrage in Desperation which despite s Critical Hit cannot prevent it falling to a second Dragon Claw from Slifer. Ash now enraged sends out his final Pokemon Sceptile which uses Ice Punch which hits Slifer square and he faints. Ash cheers as you send out Pyra who just survives a Sceptile Earthquake to One Hit KO it with a Charcoal boosted Flamethrower. Ash Throws his hat to the Ground. 'I guess I will never win the League.' He says. 'If Greninja's Hydro Pump had hit...' He is cut off. 'A true trainer never bemoans his luck.' Elite Four Marshall says sternly. 'One must also be willing to never give up.' Claire said now wearing a long green dress, white shoes and a denim jacket. 'But.' Ash says before being cut off again. 'You must also learn from your mistakes.' Claire says adjusting her glasses...wait are her and Marshall holding hands? Ash after hugging Pikachu (Who is still carrying a bottle of ketchup) wishes you luck in your League Challenge. Marshall tells you you will not be able to challenge the League until tomorrow as him and Claire need to go over a few things. Sabrina says that as much as she would like to, she thinks that it would be a better idea to train your Pokemon for the Elite 4 instead. As powerful as they are, it would not be such a bad idea to make them even stronger. You then ask Sabrina if she could help you train. She says she is happy to help. The two of you then go outside to have a battle. Sabrina sends out her Espeon, while you send out your Jellicent Helena. Helena and Espeon both go for Shadow Ball. Helena avoids the 2HKO (her HP is more than half), while Espeon's HP is in the red. Pyra sets up a Calm Mind, while Gardevoir hits her with Shadow Ball. Thankfully, the Calm Mind allowed Pyra to avoid the 2HKO. Another Calm Mind, and a Shadow Ball takes Pyra to the red. Pyra attacked with Flamethrower. Thanks to Blaze, as well as the +2 Sp. Atk boost from Calm Mind, Flamethrower easily KOes Gardevoir. Sabrina sends out Espeon, who also gets KOed. Serena is leaving with Ash, so this is where you two say goodbye. She thanks you for the fun times on the journey, and wishes you all of the luck in the world (you'll need it). You enter the League building, buy as many Hyper Potions, Full Restores, Full Heals, and Revives as you can, and kiss your wife before entering the main hall alone (only challengers are allowed beyond this point). ...Surf, which Magmortar just manages to survive. Magmortar uses Thunderbolt, which does tremendous damage. Fortunately, Helena's Surf finishes off Magmortar. Blaine then sends out Ninetales, whose Drought brings out the sunlight. It probably knows Solarbeam, so you switch and send out Pyra. Blaine predicted the switch and orders Ninetales to use Nasty Plot. Pyra sets up a Calm Mind, while Ninetales uses Nasty Plot again. Pyra goes for Psyshock, which almost KOes Ninetales, while Ninetales's Fire Blast almost KOes Pyra. A Flamethrower finishes off Ninetales. Blaine then sends out Houndoom. Damn! Fortunately, it goes for Sucker Punch and fails as you heal Pyra. The sunlight then fades. You switch out Pyra, only for the poor Delphox to get hit with Pursuit! She barely survives, and you send out Elizabeth. You heal Pyra while Houndoom hits the Nidoqueen with Flamethrower. Elizabeth quickly takes it out with Earth Power. Blaine commends your skill and sends out...

...Rapidash. The Fire Horse uses Earthquake which takes out Elizabeth. You Didn't see that coming. You send out Slifer who manages to dodge a Horn Drill from the Rapidash. Slifer uses Earthquake one hit KOing the Fire Horse. Blaine applauds you and sends out Arcanine his final Pokemon Arcanine. Despite a crit Extreme Speed and a Fire Blast two Earthquakes by Slifer gets you the win. Blaine congratulates you and says 'Whoa Hey! Now I am sure of the Victors strength. Go on to the next room.' He then sportingly fully heals both yours and his Pokémon. You Thank Blaine for the battle and enter the next room. As the room lights up you see a beautiful woman with waist length silver hair wearing a Yellow crop top and Silver Jeans. 'Oh, you were expecting Wally? I'm back from vacation although he did do an admirable job of filling in.'' The woman says as she tosses her hair. 'I am Karen of the Elite Four. The Champion and that Marshall say you are good. Let's do this.' As the music plays you send out Marshall and she sends out Vileplume, now that's a curve ball. You respond by...

...staying in and using Spikes, while Vileplume used Sleep Powder to no effect. It seems Karen expected you to switch. You tell Marshall to use Spikes again. Vileplume used Sludge Bomb, but it bounced off harmlessly off the Chesnaught's body. Karen then realized that Marshall has the Hidden Ability Bulletproof. As Marshall lays down his third and final layer of Spikes, Vileplume goes for Moonblast. Fortunately, Marshall was able to survive the hit. You switch and send out Kira, who dodges Sleep Powder. You Mega Evolve Kira and have her go for Swords Dance. Vileplume lands the Sleep Powder this time, leaving the Mawile asleep on the floor. You use a Full Heal to awaken Kira, while Karen takes this time to switch to Houndoom, who loses 1/4 of its HP thanks to Marshall's Spikes. Karen commands Houndoom to use Fire Blast, expecting to KO the Mawile, but she didn't expect Kira to attack first with Sucker Punch and OHKO Houndoom. Karen sends back out Vileplume, who gets OHKOed by Iron Head. Karen is impressed with your skill so far and sends out Honchkrow, who uses...

...Attract. A male with Attract. Of course. You order Kira to use Iron Head but Kira is paralysed with Love. You try again but are immobilised by love again. Kira gets hit with an Incinerate putting the little Mawile in the Red. You are concerned so switch to Slifer the Salamence. Karen orders Honchkrow to use Sucker Punch which does nothing. Slifer ends up eating a Sucker Punch the next turn but faints the Dark Bird with a Critical Hit Dragon Claw. Karen tosses her hair and praises you for your skills. She sends out her final and main Pokemon Umbreon and...

You use Drain Punch, but it misses this time. Umbreon goes for Confuse Ray, and you switch out Marshall for Kira while Umbreon goes for yet another Double Team. Kira hates hax just as much as you do, so she not only lands a Play Rough, it crits and takes out Umbreon, so you win the battle. Two down and two more to go! Karen warns you that the next two Elite 4 members are seriously tough, so watch out. Back at the main hall, you decide to take the door on the right, which leads to the room of the next member of the Elite 4, who is...

'Fighting Master of the Elite Four, trained by Alder and one of the Champion's closest friends.' You ask him what him and Claire were discussing yesterday. The Fighting Master either didn't hear you or ignored the question. 'Challenger, I know you are strong, Time to battle.' He gives a friendly smile as the music starts to play (Oddly enough it's the 'regular' Unova Elite Four Theme playing this time). Marshall opens with Machamp and you send out the Shiny Water/Ghost Type Helena. The Fighting Master orders Machamp to...

Marshall sends out Breloom, while you switch into Pyra. Pyra easily KOs the Breloom with Flamethrower. Upon seeing Marshall switch into Poliwrath, you decide to play it safe and call forth your Chesnaught Marshall. Marshall greets Marshall and says that he has heard great things about him. Marshall has also heard of Marshall and of all the great things he's done. Marshall then tells Marshall that it's probably best to talk later and get back to the battle. Marshall agrees. The Chesnaught predicts the Poliwrath's Ice Punch and blocks with Spiky Shield, then KOs with Wood Hammer. Marshall then summons Conkeldurr, while you decide to...

...switch to Helena as Conkeldurr's Superpower passes harmlessly through her on the switch. Helena uses Surf as Conkeldurr switches to using Earthquake. Helena's STAB moves are stronger than Conkeldurr's non STAB and after taking three Surfs Conkeldurr faints. Marshall complements you on your skill and sends out his Final Pokemon Mienshao. You switch to Pyra as Mienshao uses Payback. Critical Hit and Pyra faints. Your Chesnaught Marshall flys out into the battle in a rage as Mienshao uses Bounce, you order him to use Spiky Shield just before Bounce hits. Mienshao uses U-turn which somehow also Crits leaving the Chesnaught wounded. You switch to your Flying Type Slifer who manages to tank two Hi-Jump Kicks before two Dragon Claws get the win. Marshall heals your Pokémon and congratulates you. He says he feels that you may just have what it takes to beat Claire, (You recall Ash telling you he was easily beaten by the Champion). Marshall also reveals him and Claire have been friends for some time. You thank the Fighting Master for the battle and enter the Final Elite Four Room where you see you will face...

...Gary Oak. Or was it Blue? Assbutt? In any case, it's Oak's grandson and your rival. He says that while you were away, he became stronger. Strong enough to become a member of the Elite 4. Unlike the rest of the Elite 4, he uses Pokemon of different types. You send out Pyra, while your rival (you decide to refer to him as that, since you forgot what his name is) sends out a Hydreigon. He tells you you're about to have a dead Delphox. Think again! Before this battle, you replaced Pyra's Calm Mind with Dazzling Gleam, which she uses to OHKO Hydreigon. Your rival then sends out Rhyperior, who gets OHKOed by Grass Knot. You decide to switch out Pyra and send in Marshall, while your rival sends out...

...Blastoise, of course his starter Pokemon. Expecting an attack you order Marshall to use Spiky Shield. He does so but Blastoise is readying himself for a Skull bash. You order Marshall to use Wood Hammer as the two Pokemon charge at each other. Marshall manages to knock the Shellfish Pokémon down, removing it from the battle but the recoil damage seriously hurts the Kalos starter. You quickly switch him for Helena the Shiny Jellicent whilst Oak's Grandson sends out...

...Exeggutor. Helena uses Shadow Ball and Exeggutor faints due to it being a critical hit. Your rival's final Pokemon is Arcanine. You decide to switch out to Elizabeth, which is fortunate because the Nidoqueen just took a crit Crunch to the face. Elizabeth survives and KOes Arcanine with Earth Power. Your rival congratulates you on your victory and tells you to get out of his room. He doesn't even heal your Pokemon. Wow, rude! Back in the main hall, you see an elevator that definitely wasn't there before. You heal your Pokemon and enter the elevator, which takes you up at least 7 floors. Upon exiting the elevator, you see a long hall that leads to the Champion's room. Of course, you see the champion Claire waiting for you inside. What you didn't expect to see inside as well, however, was...

...how well decorated the Champion's Room was. You have never seen such a well decorated room in your life. Claire sees you and smiles. She has an elegant mint green ballgown on, green rimmed glasses and her hair up. 'My dear friend.' She says. 'Congratulations on making it this far as I knew you would. I am Claire, Champion and seeker of knowledge on Pokemon.' She adjusts her glasses and smiles. 'I really enjoy travelling with you but it appears now we must battle.' She takes her hair down as grand yet elegant music plays. She sends out her opening Pokémon Machamp, you open with Kira. You ready Kira with a Play Rough but Machamp's Quick Claw Activates meaning Kira eats a Dynamic Punch confusing her. The little Mawile misses the Play Rough in her confusion before hitting it the second time. Machamp shrugs it off and uses Earthquake KOing the Steel/Fairy Pokémon. A gasp is heard by the people watching on the big screen outside. You realise the Champion's strength is not overstated, worrying Earthquake would One Hit KO Pyra you send out...

...Slifer. The Salamence's Intimidate, plus Kira's Intimidate from earlier, nerfs Machamp's Attack. You take this chance to use one of your few Max Revives on Kira, while Machamp uses Ice Punch. Slifer's HP gets cut in half instead of going to 0 thanks to the Attack drops. You decide to switch back to Kira, who lowers Machamp's Attack even further, and easily takes an Earthquake this time. You Mega Evolve Kira to ensure Machamp's defeat, but it goes for Dynamic Punch again. Kira thankfully lands the Play Rough this time and Machamp falls. Claire's next Pokemon is...

LilyGardy June 15th, 2016 6:25 AM

...Lilligant. You know not to underestimate the Flowering Pokemon and order Kira to go for Play Rough but are put to sleep. Lilligant uses Quiver Dance as you use a Full Heal to wake Kira up and cure her confusion. Claire smiles as Lilligant does another Quiver Dance. You finally hit a Play Rough on the Flowering Pokemon to take away half her health but Lilligant gets it all back with a Crit Boosted Giga Drain which KOs the little Mawile. You send out Slifer knowing it has a 4X resistance to Grass. Before you can get your order off your Salamence is put to sleep. You use a Full Restore to wake him up and fully heal him as Lilligant performs a third Quiver Dance. As you order a Dragon Claw Slifer falls to Hidden Power Ice to the speedy Lilligant. For the first time on your journey you feel frustrated. Claire tries to reassure you by saying that there is still a long way to go in the Battle. Even though you know the little Flowering Pokémon's Special Defense is now high you have no option but to send out Pyra due to Type advantage then...

...as if reading your mind, Pyra dodges the incoming Sleep Powder and attacks with Psyshock, hitting the Lilligant's unboosted Defense and just barely OHKOing Lilligant. Pyra telepathically asks you how many Max Revives you have left. Unfortunately, you only have one left, so you can either fully restore Kira or Slifer, but not both. You then hear Kira's voice from within her Ball, reminding you that Claire has a Dragonite. She may be a Fairy, but she can't Mega Evolve for the rest of the battle, making her the weakest on the team stat wise. In addition, Dragonite probably has Earthquake anyway. She convinces you to use the Max Revive on Slifer when you get the chance to. You decide to leave Pyra in, while Claire sends out...

LilyGardy June 15th, 2016 8:10 AM

...Mandibuzz. Of course you saw her with the Dark Vulture when she revealed she was Champion. 'I am impressed.' Claire says. 'Lillian swept most of the last Challenger's team.' You think for a moment, the last Challenger was Ash. Realising Mandibuzz is a Dark Type you switch to Elizabeth who loses a third of her damage to Brave Bird. Mandibuzz uses Tailwind then lose most of her HP to a Thunder by Elizabeth. As Mandibuzz uses Roost you use your Max Revive on Slifer as planned. The Dark Vulture uses Brave Bird again and it crits leaving Elizabeth with only one third HP left. Mandibuzz keeps going, crashing into a wall and severely injuring her. Another Thunder and the Dark Vulture falls. Elizabeth is in trouble and The Dark Vulture's Tailwind means whatever Claire sends out next will move before Nidoqueen. You hear excited chatter from the crowd watching the battle outside on the Big Screen. As Claire readys her next Pokémon you decide to...

Azumarill goes for Play Rough, while Marshall not only protects himself with Spiky Shield and damages Azumarill, but he also stalls out the last turn of Tailwind. Now that Marshall is faster again, he OHKOs Azumarill with Wood Hammer, although he heavily damages himself in the process. Claire sends out her second to last Pokemon, her Shiny Dragonite, while you switch to your dragon Slifer. Slifer lowers Dragonite's Attack, and then goes for Dragon Claw. However, Dragonite not only survives thanks to Multiscale (it lost only half its HP), but also sets up a Dragon Dance. Not good! It gets worse. Dragonite is faster now and OHKOs Slifer with Dragon Claw. You have to stop it now before it becomes a Dragonite sweep! You decide to...

She smiles and says it was her starter Pokemon and it was not until the first Gym Leader she fought (Which turned out to be Roxanne, wait how old is Roxanne) that she knew he was Shiny. If it has Earthquake then Pyra and Elizabeth will be One Hit Koed with the Dragon Dance Boost, Marshall has Ice Punch but needs healing. You have no option but to send out Helena who knows Ice Beam and get a lucky crit. You do just that and curse as Claire has used a Hyper Potion on Dragonite meaning the damage is halved. Wait, what if it knows Thunder Punch, The Champion Claire commends you for your skill and you...

Helena barely holds on and fires her strongest Ice Beam, finally defeating Dragonite. You are excited. One more Pokemon stands between you and victory! However, it's not all good news. Marshall and Elizabeth are both hurt, Helena's HP is in the red, and both Kira and Slifer are fainted. Pyra has full HP, but her Defense is low and Sp. Def is only modest at best, which means trying to heal or revive any of your Pokemon while Pyra is out is generally a bad idea. Nevertheless, you send her out to face Claire's final Pokemon, which is...

...Gardevoir. Of course you remember seeing Claire use her Gardevoir against the two Haxorus in the Tower. You both hear very excited chatter from the people watching on the big screen outside. As the music in the background has an organ added to it making it sound even more dramatic Claire quickly tells you how Gardevoir was her second ever Pokémon and was caught as a Ralts after 4 hours of searching in Petalberg. Claire then taps the side of her glasses which causes Gardevoir to Mega Evolve into Mega Gardevoir. You order Pyra to use Flamethrower which takes off a fifth of the Embrace Pokémon's health. Claire orders Mega Gardevoir to use Shadow Ball which puts your Delphox's health in the Red. You know that your next move is very important and decide to...

She would rather faint than let everyone else in the party faint too. She tells you to go make her proud and don't screw this up. You then thank the Delphox for her words. You heal Elizabeth with a Full Restore and watch sadly as Pyra faints to Mega Gardevoir's Shadow Ball. You send out Elizabeth, who assures you that Pyra's sacrifice will not be in vain. Mega Gardevoir moves first, and uses Psyshock. With 1 HP remaining, Elizabeth barely hangs on and then unleashes her Sludge Wave. As you predicted, the attack was just enough to finish off Mega Gardevoir and win the battle! With the crowd cheering very loudly, Claire almost has to shout for you to hear her congratulate you on your victory. You thank her (in a loud voice as well) for this awesome battle. An elevator suddenly appears in the middle of the stadium and Claire tells you to follow her inside so she can register you in the Hall of Fame without having to lose her voice. Once there, you are surprised to see...

...Professor Rowan. He congratulates you both on 'a battle for the ages' as he calls it. He then congratulates you for winning the League and tells Claire that her Great Grandfather would be very proud of her. He then calls Claire by her full name, Claire Beech and thanks her for her research on Pokemon then shockingly reveals that he is retiring. At hearing both your surprise he laughs saying he is now in his 70's and he has found his successor. He then gives Claire a brand new Lab Coat and asks her to become a Pokémon Professor which she accepts as she puts the Lab Coat on. The old Professor's eyes then widen, 'Good Lord where are my manners, new Champion let's induct your Pokémon into the Hall of Fame.' As they are inducted a tear almost appears in your eye as you remember your journey together. Claire hugs you as you yourself are inducted. Professor Rowan teleports away and you and Claire or to give you your proper titles, The New Champion and Professor Beech step out into an almost deafening cheering crowd. Elite Four Marshall gives you a firm handshake. You then congratulate Claire on becoming a Pokémon Professor, she thanks you and congratulates you on your win again. As you and your Pokémon go up to your wife Sabrina in the crowd who says...

Then the two of you can start to think of a name for your child. You make a bet that the baby is a girl, while Sabrina thinks he'll be a boy. A couple of months pass. With the money you got from being Champion, you and Sabrina finally got a new house in Saffron City and moved in together. The house is purple, like you promised Sabrina it would be. You of course still keep in touch with your friends. Claire had invited you and Sabrina to a party last week and it was awesome. You and Serena still call each other on your Pokegears and talk about things that happen on your journeys, like how Ash had apparently battled and defeated most of Team Flare, and the time Lugia was rampaging through Johto and you had to go there and calm it down. Concerning that bet you and Sabrina made months ago, it seems that the one who correctly guessed the baby's gender was...

...you as the Doctor (Who incidentally is called Hank) tells you the baby is a girl. You then ask your wife what the winner of the bet gets and your wife has no idea. You can't remember either and after you both laugh Sabrina says as reward she will cook for you and your friends tonight. You invite everyone and see Professor Oak arrive with his wife Skyla, Serena of course comes with Ash and Claire introduces you to her boyfriend Marshall (Claire excitedly tells Sabrina they started dating the day before your intense match against her). After your wife prepares a delicious meal you all sit at the table and once you and your wife have been congratulated by everyone for finding out your baby will be a girl. You notice Claire is still wearing her lab Coat whilst Oak is in everyday clothes, the two Professors explain this by saying...

khaozz June 16th, 2016 1:27 PM

...that Claire doesn't feel like removing her coat because she really likes both her job as a Professor and the lab coat itself. Not only does it have a cool design, there are numerous pockets to keep things in. Some of these pockets have almost infinite space. Claire even keeps her private jet in one of them! Meanwhile, Oak only needs his coat when he's working or if he needs to transform into Mega Super Oak (he tells you that yes, that's still a thing). Otherwise, he prefers dressing casually. Changing the subject, Serena asks you and Sabrina if you thought of a name for your daughter. Sabrina says that you two have decided to name her...

...Cassandra. All at the table agree that is a fitting name considering Sabrina is a Psychic Trainer. The girls at the table then frantically speculate whether the child will look more like you or your wife. Marshall is listening to one of Ash's stories about how he single handedly beat Team Rocket. You have a feeling the Fighting Master doesn't believe him. Oak is recounting to you a highly entertaining story about his and Skyla's holiday when your wife says she needs to speak with you in private. In the kitchen she tells you with the baby so close to being due she is thinking of retiring as the Gym Leader of Saffron City. She says she wants to concentrate on being Sabrina You, wife and mother rather than Sabrina, cold Gym Leader but you will both continue to live in your purple house in the city. You respond to your wife's news by saying...

...that if that makes her happy, then of course you'll support her decision. You then ask who will run the Gym. Sabrina says that she promoted Steve, since he's doing such a great job at watching over the Gym while she was away. The two of you then walk back to where the others were. Oak was showing everyone Genesis, the Mew you gave him. Genesis immediately disproved Ash's story about beating Team Rocket, since it and Pyra were the ones who mind crushed every Team Rocket member other than Giovanni and Jessie, James, and Meowth. Speaking of those 3, Ash wondered why they stopped following him, not that he's complaining. You tell him that after Team Rocket's fall earlier in the thread your adventure, Pyra erased their Team Rocket memories. Ash thanks you for getting them out of his back. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. You go check to see who it is, and to your surprise, it's...

Sabrina walks up behind you, kisses you then insists she told you about it. As it makes your wife happy you decide to go along with it. Elsewhere in the house Oak is telling Serena and Ash a scintillating story about how his Grandson became one of the Elite Four, Oak states his Grandson's name but at that moment he is drowned out by Marshall's laughter, Claire must have clearly just told him a hilarious joke. Skyla is surprised to hear that your wife is retiring as a Gym Leader and says to her...

All of them seem to be asleep in the barn right now, except for Pyra and Marshall, who seems to have set up a campfire nearby and are sharing marshmallows and telling each other stories. Not wanting to interrupt their time together, you head back inside and decide to watch TV with everyone else. As everyone is enjoying the show and discussing their favorite characters, the show is interrupted by breaking news. Apparently...

Everyone present reluctantly admits that Oak is right and your wife urges you to go find the real culprit. You, Claire and Serena resolve to go to Pewter City to see what's going on. Marshall informs you he will look after the League with Karen for the time being. Ash says he will go on another adventure. Oak says he will be in his lab in Kanto but you will be able to call upon Super Oak if needed. Sabrina says she will ensure your home is in order whilst you are away. You ask to see the footage in slow motion. Viewing the footage frame by frame, you notice something weird. For a split second, Oak's grandson's eyes turned black. He was possessed! Since there's only like one antagonist you know that has the power of possession, it means that The Darkness is behind it. Claire thanks the nervous man for his help and reveals to you she would prefer it if people still called her Claire instead of the formal sounding 'Professor Beech'. You both run to the salon and the stylist cheerfully greets Claire (Even calling her by her first name). ...there is an ancient evil force called The Darkness that is behind a lot of the chaos that's been happening recently. From death threats, Froakie exterminations, possessing victims to commit crimes, vandalizing museums, and even aiming invisible guns at people! Looker asks if by invisible guns, you mean something like...this! He aims an invisible gun at the back of Claire's head and tells you that anyone who tries anything will be responsible for Claire's death. Of course Looker is possessed by The Darkness. You wonder why you haven't noticed the black eyes until now. Speaking in a demonic voice, Looker says he missed you and couldn't wait to use your heroic nature to lure you here. You ask it why it hasn't killed you yet if it supposedly has the power to. The Darkness says that killing you is not its goal. It wants you to become its ultimate vessel. With the powers of the protagonist, The Darkness will become invincible, free to torture and kill all life, and even bend time and space to its will. Suddenly, a hooded figure appeared behind Looker and stabbed him with a sword made of light. Although the sword did not harm Looker at all, The Darkness was in clear agony, and it decided to flee Looker's body. Claire turns to thank the hooded figure, but whoever it was already ran off. He took pictures and sent them to Professor Elm to decipher the words on the tablet. As he then turned to leave, he saw a crapton on smoke, and everything after that was a blur. You realize two things. First, whatever was on that tablet was important to The Darkness, which is probably why it attacked Looker when it saw him near the tablet. Second, if The Darkness doesn't want anyone near that tablet, then Professor Elm might be in danger and he doesn't even know it. Looker calls Elm to warn him, but there is no answer on the Pokegear. You call an Ambulance and the Doctor appears in double quick time and tells you Elm will be ok. The Doctor thinks Elm may have had a heart attack. You thank the Doctor for telling you Elm will be ok. Claire looks at the pictures Looker sent Elm, she informs you that she thinks she can translate it but it will take time. Looker tells you he has found a clue. Professor Beech's Gardevoir teleports you the three of you back to your house in Saffron City. There your wife greets and kisses you before making dinner for everyone. Sabrina then tells you...

...that someone with a hood came by earlier and asked her to give something to you. Was it that hooded figure that freed Looker from The Darkness's possession earlier? Sabrina gives you an envelope and a package. You open the package first. It's the sword of light the hooded figure used earlier! Cool! You then open the envelope. As you suspected, it's a letter from the hooded figure, and it says that she (if Looker is correct) wishes to aid you in your battle against The Darkness, but she wishes to meet with you alone so the two of you can discuss vital information. It is also then that she will reveal her identity. Sabrina is skeptical and suspects that this may be a trap, but you assure her that for the few seconds that you saw the hooded figure, she did not have the dark aura that those possessed by The Darkness had, and must be concealing her identity for a very good reason. In any case, you decide to bring your Pokemon with you. According to the letter, the hooded figure wants to meet you in front of Tin/Bell Tower in Ecruteak City, so with light sword in hand, you make your way to Ecruteak City. Before you can enter the city, you are interrupted by...

...Morty. You tell him you have important business to attend to and you will talk later. You approach the entrance of the Bell Tower and see the Hooded Figure as they said. The figure sees you and says 'Ah. Mr You. We meet again.' After discounting the idea it was your wife under the hood and its clearly not Claire or Serena. You know for a fact Karen was with Marshall at the League at the time and Erika was at the house with your wife and Skyla but...she didn't stay and left when you did. 'Erika?' You ask. 'Very good.' The Hooded Figure said. 'But why the game hood?' You ask. The figure clicks her fingers and you Teleport To Celadon Gym. Now In Celadon Gym the figure takes her hood down showing she is indeed Erika. You notice the Gym is not the same Garden Haven it was earlier. 'My Second in Command Ace Trainer Mary has joined the Darkness and is one of their most trusted Lieutenants. It is my resolve to bring her back and save Kanto.' You nod but that doesn't explain the Hood. 'For secrecy.' Erika says. 'What's more I am also a trained ninja.' You are surprised at this revelation. 'Saffron.' Erika says 'is next. Go home and make sure your wife is protected then you, I and Professor Beech can stop the Darkness.' You thank Erika and call Marshall to tell him to come to your house to protect Sabrina which he agrees to. You Teleport home and tell Claire and Claire alone the plan and she responds...

...by asking how they'll strike The Darkness. Every time they get close, it escapes. Suddenly, a hooded figure comes in through the window. You wonder why Erica is in her disguise again, but you then realize that this isn't Erika. This hooded figure assures you that she is part of the same group as Erika (the hoods are uniforms). She was the one who sent you the letter and light sword and was the one who wanted to meet with you, but The Darkness was tailing her, so she had to hide and ask Erika to go in her place. You ask her to show you her face, or you can't trust her. She tells you that she refuses unless Claire leaves the room. It's dangerous for anyone else to know. Claire tells you she'll be right outside the door just in case, and exits the room. The hood is lowered, and you are shocked. This girl looks no older than 16, but she looks just like Sabrina. Except for her eyes, which are the same as yours. Is she really...? She tells you her name is Cassandra, and takes out a Celebi. Time travel, of course! She then starts crying and hugs you and says she's glad to see her father alive again. That can't be good! You ask her just how bad the future is for her to have to go back to the past. Cassandra says...

...that nobody is allowed to keep Pokémon and anyone who does is thrown in jail and that her mother is in hiding without her Psychic powers. She bursts into tears and says you sacrificed yourself to save them and that Sabrina lost her powers when she tried to revive you. You ask where your friends are in the future. Cassandra from the future says she does not know but her best friend Marie Beech (Marshall and Claire's child) who is one year younger is also in the Darkness Fighting Task Force with her and created the Light Sword. You understand now why Cassandra wanted Claire out of the room. Your daughter from the future starts crying again and you reassure her by saying...

...that things will go differently this time. You'll destroy The Darkness, save everyone from its tyranny, and prevent any more deaths. Cassandra smiles and then explains that in one year, The Darkness will fully awaken its power under the darkness caused by the total solar eclipse and become invincible, so they need to kill it before then. Also, killing The Darkness requires finding and destroying its stone "heart" so that it'll actually die and not just regenerate. Cassandra puts on a mask and puts her hood back on and then asks you that while she's disguised, you call her "Raven". No one else needs to know that she's from the future. If The Darkness found out the truth about her, it would most likely go kill Sabrina before she's even born. You assure Cassandra that her secret is safe with you, and then she lets Claire back in the room. After introducing herself to Claire as "Raven" and filling Claire in on the things she told you about The Darkness (leaving out everything involving the future, of course), she then gives you and Claire talismans which she explains will seal The Darkness within its vessel, preventing its escape. She also gives Claire a sword of light identical to yours, just in case. Claire then thanks "Raven" for the information, talisman, and light sword and asks her...

...'Where did you get the idea for the Light Sword from? It's just like a blueprint I drew up last month.' 'Raven' truthfully says they were made by her best friend. Professor Beech frowns at the limited explanation but nods politely. 'Raven' tells you the Darkness will be in Saffron Gym so the three of you head there and your daughter from the future tells Erika to watch over Celadon. You kiss your wife and say you will be back soon. As you leave Sabrina turns to Marshall. 'Strange.' She says. 'I am sure I know that hooded figure but from where.' Marshall folds his arms and tells your wife not to worry and to get some rest. You, Claire and 'Raven' arrive outside Saffron Gym and see...

...the most horrible sight. Serena is on the floor, bleeding and unconscious but still alive. Ash seems to be on the floor beaten to a pulp and crying, his Pokemon also brutally beaten and barely conscious, and Pikachu, oh dear. Pikacku has the most evil grin on its face, a dark aura surrounding its body, and its eyes are pitch black. Ash begs Pikachu to fight off The Darkness. Pikachu zaps him with Thunderbolt and tells Ash in a demonic voice (wait, The Darkness can force Pokemon to speak English?) that it's having too much fun torturing him and his Pokemon. It tells him that it can hear Pikachu screaming on the inside, begging it to stop. It also thinks it's cute that Ash's other Pokemon aren't even trying to attack it in fear of hurting the vessel it's in. Pikachu then starts hitting itself with a sharp rock. Wait a minute, that's a Thunderstone! You run to stop The Darkness from hurting Pikachu anymore, but Cassandra gets there first. She kicks the Thunderstone out of Pikachu's hands and stabs it with her sword of light. Pikachu is unharmed, but The Darkness is screaming in pain and tries to escape through Pikachu's mouth. You throw the talisman at Pikachu, which sticks to its body. It's not getting away this time! Claire runs to help Serena, Ash, and his Pokemon, while you and "Raven" point your light swords at Pikachu's face. The Darkness tells you that as long as there is evil within the hearts of humans and Pok- but you cut it off and tell it to shut up and die already. You and "Raven" stab it at the same time, killing that piece of The Darkness and freeing Pikachu as well. Nurse Joy then runs to the scene and quickly calls over a team of Blissey to carry the injured to the Pokemon Center. It seems everyone will make a full recovery! Later that day, Sabrina heard what had happened and asks you...

Your wife kisses you and says...

You worry about what The Darkness will do if you are gone, but then you remember that if anything happens, Claire and Cassandra are both there and are both powerful enough to handle it. You and Sabrina teleport to Vermilion City and board the cruise ship S.S. Aqua (it's en route to Lilycove City). While on the ship, you and Sabrina decide to pass the time by...

You go over to Team Magma and tell them to piss off. Maxie arrives and asks who do you think you are to speak to him that way. You tell him that not only are you the friggin Champion, you're also the one whose Pokemon mind crushed Team Rocket into oblivion, the fate that will also befall Team Magma if Maxie doesn't disband them now. Team Magma disbanded in record time that day and Maxie runs off with his metaphoric tail between his legs. Groudon thanks you for getting those weirdos off its back and gives you...

You approach him and ask where he got all that money from. He responds by saying he is too busy counting his money to answer right now. Realising you already have enough on your plate you decide to let Giovanni be and take a romantic walk along the beach with your wife who says to you...

...that tomorrow, the two of you should head to Lavaridge Town and visit the hot springs. Remembering how relaxing they were when you went last time, you agree and decide to head there first thing tomorrow. In the meantime, you and Sabrina decide to let all of your Pokemon out. The Pokemon decide to play volleyball. It's Pyra, Elizabeth, Helena, (your Delphox, Nidoqueen, and Jellicent) and Sabrina's Espeon, Gardevoir, and Xatu on one team, versus Marshall, Kira, Slifer, (your Chesnaught, Mawile, Salamence) and Sabrina's Alakazam, Slowking, and Celebi on the other team. You and Sabrina are the referees. Five minutes into the game, some people started coming to watch. Ten minutes later, there's a huge crowd cheering both Pokemon teams on. There's even a group of Plusle and Minun acting as cheerleaders! Suddenly, Brawly shows up to watch the game and asks you...
