Sirfetch’d April 12th, 2015 3:45 PM

I love how this chat has been about cthulhu for hours LOL

Omicron April 12th, 2015 4:32 PM

Lala is right. All the information I have gathered points out to Angie. She's indeed Cthulhu and is indeed in Castform's body.

It is hard to hide that you are a vessel to an ancient, zoologically dubious god.

Oh boy what do we have he- cthulhu and other lesser tentacle monsters?

Okay so anyway how about that weather huh

Tsutarja April 12th, 2015 5:25 PM

It's hot as hell here. No other way to describe it.

Sirfetch’d April 12th, 2015 5:33 PM

The weather is quite warm here! Perfect conditions for a growing cthulhu like Angie herself :)

It's perfectly temperate outside, and has been since 5:30 this morning. The one thing I missed being in Colorado were the mellow dawns and dusks. c:

Sirfetch’d April 12th, 2015 5:50 PM

I guess it's only appropriate we discuss weather considering the resident Castform and all ;D

Sonata April 12th, 2015 7:02 PM

It was sunny today. The sun was out and the birds were chirping at 3 in the morning. Doesn't get much better than that.

Alexander Nicholi April 12th, 2015 7:03 PM

No, use hail! I love the smell of hail c:

Sonata April 12th, 2015 7:04 PM

Hail is painful. No thanks. We get golf ball sized hail a lot. I could do without that thank you goodbye.

Sylphiel April 12th, 2015 8:19 PM

I think I've seen hail only once or twice here, but I remember seeing it down more in Georgia with all its thunderstorms argh. And even then, it wasn't too prevalent in my area.

...Was interesting seeing how big some of the hailstones could get. Pretty sure I ran out a few times to grab one, haha.

Alexander Nicholi April 12th, 2015 8:59 PM

Rumour has it that Mountain Dew makes your teeth like those of Austin Powers. I'm inclined to agree.

Dear, you have a deathwish. Last it was hailing here people were running away from the hail because it... well... hurts. d:

Tsutarja April 13th, 2015 3:45 AM

The only time I've seen hail was like maybe once two years ago? I dunno, and it's weird considering I live in Florida where hail is common.

Pinkie-Dawn April 13th, 2015 6:23 AM

I had the safety of a porch nearby, I'm not that crazy. :>

Alexander Nicholi April 13th, 2015 8:29 AM

Instead of hurricanes, in Colorado we had national newsworthy fires and the Aurora theatre shooting

fun times man, I remember my dad getting marooned on post 'cause they locked down Fort Carson when the Joker decided to have his way

and the fires were costly, but entertaining. We got maybe a few hundred metres from the Black Forest fire, took photographs and watched propane tanks explode. News crews went in and out while the little inlet we were in was still open

We also went behind Cheyenne Mountain, deep inside the smoke storm system the Waldo Canyon fire created. The sky was lit in this apocalyptic orange in there it was so strange

Sirfetch’d April 13th, 2015 9:28 AM

Oh man we haven't had a hurricane here in years. The last major one was Ivan and it left us powerless for days. was quite scary D:

Literally been sitting here on either PokeCommunity or Reddit the entire time. Almost passed out about an hour ago, but instead went in-and-out of sleep so nobody could suspect a thing about the girl in the corner.

I'm procrastinating university work so hard at the moment, final 2 weeks of semester so the assignments are rolling in

What did I decide to do, go for 3 hours nap just there. Life.

Circuit April 13th, 2015 10:36 AM

What is this work you all speak of? I don't recall ever doing any!

Sirfetch’d April 13th, 2015 11:05 AM

Whenever I don't feel like working I play Pokemon :))))))))) Though not sure how your boss would approve.....

Pendraflare April 13th, 2015 11:59 AM

This is indeed that time of year where we get a lot of assignments... One of my classes I don't have too much left to do for at all, another I have a paper due at the end of the month, one is basically the same, and another I have a paper at the very beginning of next month and a test for tomorrow that we were given no specifics on what to study for. But we so don't care.

Ice April 13th, 2015 12:15 PM

I am just finished with my final round of school exams. I have a month of 3 hour school days ahead of me, then 2 weeks of making nationwide exams, and then a 13 week period of absolutely nothing!

Pinkie-Dawn April 13th, 2015 12:20 PM

There's an assignment rough draft I'm almost done with and a quiz I need to study for, but I'm too lazy to work on either of them because of Skype and youtube videos.

I could imagine how scary it would be if your boss caught you doing that, because when I did it at the factory they always scolded at me for it. Literally, the entire staff there was extremely unnerving.

Sirfetch’d April 13th, 2015 1:27 PM

Those horrible people scolding you for playing Pokemon :((

They're not alone. I have like been bullied by so many just for even liking Pokemon.

It's like so sad... because it's a franchise that literally anyone can enjoy, and it's often played a big part in helping me learn stuff given I have autism and also suffered a learning disorder.

I wish I was still in school. Even when it sucked it was still somewhat fun. It's awful not having anything to do all day.

Pendraflare April 13th, 2015 3:10 PM

Most of my time that isn't spent in class or meals is spent in one of the college lounges in my dorm building. My room is too small, and recently the light on my dorm's ceiling has been flicking a lot.

maccrash April 13th, 2015 3:37 PM

do any of you have experience with Uber? I'm probably gonna have to use it tomorrow night with friends in order to get to a concert. is it good? are the people friendly? etc. I don't know how much of a thing this is outside of the US, so.

Just fill your time man.

A lot of the projects that occupy my time may be trivial but they make the day worthwhile :P

Alexander Nicholi April 13th, 2015 5:23 PM

I think motivation to do schoolwork - as boring, meaningless, and time-consuming as it is - would come by a lot easier if I could focus. Right now what little attention span I do have goes to things I actually care about.

I'd also like a working computer, please! It's either my garbage craptop that has a siezure when you look at it funny, or this nice VAIO missing a hard drive that I have to boot over USB. It's always something, innit

Sylphiel April 13th, 2015 6:04 PM

Just don't ever do what I did, which was to wait until the last minute to actually do the work. ;D

I mean, don't get me wrong, panic is an awesome motivator! ... but it still sucks haha.

Morkula April 13th, 2015 6:12 PM

I'm a chronic procrastinator, so I always wait until the last minute to do a lot of stuff. It's a habit I've tried to break (and really should try to do so again) but have never really had much success. :/

I do work best under pressure though, so there's that!

Sirfetch’d April 13th, 2015 6:37 PM

I think I work well under pressure as well haha. I am a huge procrastinator but once I actually start a task, I don't stop until it is finished. I have a huge peeve about doing that D:

It's definitely a hard habit to break. I've tried with little success myself.

I know for me it also doesn't help that I tend to underestimate how much time I actually have, haha. "Oh I have this amount of time I can leave it until later WAIT IT'S DUE WHEN OH GOD SCRAMBLE."

We're a lot alike. I just get so distracted by other things like Netflix, PS, PC, etc that I never want to actually start things that HAVE to be done haha. Damn too much fun in life :(

Bidoof FTW April 13th, 2015 7:00 PM

I vote that Derk is the real Cthulhu. Master of the depths and master of manipulation.

And I have trouble focusing on things as well :( I never end up doing homework and such and bringing myself to focus on studying is quite hard.. So many distractions imo

Alexander Nicholi April 13th, 2015 7:46 PM

Maybe I should cry for help
Maybe I should kill myself

Blame it on my ADD, baby

I have ADD. It's a tad frustrating.

Alexander Nicholi April 13th, 2015 11:25 PM

I don't know if you've seen the Secret Life of Walter Mitty, but that guy is basically me.

I need to stop living out my dream in my head and take a plane to Greenland. I need to play soccer in the Himalayas and ride in a Norweigan smuggling boat. I need to hitch a helicopter with a FedEx package and a drunk pilot. I need to live! My God, I need to start living!

It makes me want to become an adult that much more. I have such a good time in my mind but I'm still here, still at my house, still OTI... still doing nothing...

Ice April 13th, 2015 11:28 PM

I get distracted so much. That's basically why I'm here. I only finish school assigments under pressure :/

finalrayne April 14th, 2015 3:40 AM

I just put on some real good music and do the stuff I don't like doing. Since I love singing it makes everything enjoyable even work. More fun when we have new trainees because no one picture's an actual singing voice out of someone who works in Finance lol.

Alexander Nicholi April 14th, 2015 4:03 AM

I love singing, but I feel like it's laughed at by my family. They don't appreciate it at all and it's something I love doing.

I know I've gotten better at it, for sure. I'm such a bass.

finalrayne April 14th, 2015 4:12 AM

Ya started off as a bass dude takes a lot of practice to get at the level I would like to be at. Always criticizing myself learning new techniques taking other peoples criticisms after singing at venues. I've never found the sound I like even though I can sing low but now can hit really high notes. My family will always be supporters of my bass notes though due to the fact that they would prefer me to sing gospel type of music. Give me some R&B and something when you feel the soul in the music that my friend is where you will find me.

Alexander Nicholi April 14th, 2015 4:32 AM

I'm trying to figure out how I've managed to be so positive this past bit when I'm totally on the rocks, lacking so much of what I used to have

I can't help but feel a bit lonely, and sad at what I lost.

I'd sing to help my mood but I can't bring myself to right now. I feel like I sound awful. >>

finalrayne April 14th, 2015 4:36 AM

Get that feeling a lot its all about finding that good spot where your head voice and chest voice make a new sound of their own. Makes me glad I have recording equipment so I can know if my new voice experimentation has the potential to sound good if I gave it more effort.

Ice April 14th, 2015 6:23 AM

I'm finally at the point where I can keep in tune on stage. It's nice when you're on stage and you don't slip out of the key. I'm really excited that we might be recording some material in the summer.

finalrayne April 14th, 2015 6:36 AM

I'm having difficulty riding in our car, because it's making me suffocate. The pollen dropped inside our car and my mother smokes 3 times a day inside there, plus it was drizzling today which made it that much harder for me to breathe. I came home and quietly tried to catch up on my oxygen >_>

I might've talked about trying it, but I've never actually smoked. I was helpful to my friends though for a couple years in high school. Since I never used my locker the school gave me the most out of the way one and my friends would hide their stuff in there from time to time.

I don't trust weed, too many stories of it getting laced with shit and really messing people up. Since my friend moved away to college there's nobody around here that I trust enough to buy from anyways. whereas there's plenty of trustworthy people for other things.
