Never been the biggest fan of that brand. Also crispy crust, no thanks. :( Okay the tombstone you linked is slightly better, but I've been put off frozen pizzas for now anyway. |

The last time I ate pre-made pizza were those small pizzas, which came with both pepperoni and cheese, sold at Costco.
|
Welcome to Costco, I love you.
|
I've never been to costco before. I buy all of my bulk stuff at Sam's Club and then everything else I just get at random places.
|
My parents used to have a Costco membership, but it got expired last year and they didn't renew it. I remember buying a huge bulk of hot chocolate packets there but neither me nor my family finished it, haha.
|
I've never heard of Sam's Club, but we actually do have Costco stores in Australia now. The company's invasion of the land down under began a couple of years ago and there are people who actually do shop at them.
The membership tho... that is damn expensive |
I go to Sam's frequently. It's nice to be able to shop in bulk because it saves so many trips to the store later and is really cheaper in all ways. The only downside is our closest one is on the other side of town and takes forever to get to :[
|
new zealand is yet to be wholly swallowed by american brand invasion thank god

Quote:
It's owned by the same family yeah. They carry the same brands and stuff. It's essentially the same store just Sam's sells in bulk. |
We went to BJ's the other day, actually. It was during our big Piedmont storm, yeah.
I got a rather unappeasing hot dog there and a really overpriced drink. Their concessions are frankly bad, but I was looking at their actual merch and it was looking really well-priced. Kind of like how much things should be priced in regular stores but aren't. >:( |

I don't know if I've heard the thing about grape juice, but doesn't really matter - I have no grape juice here to try-- Wait no I lied apparently there's a can of frozen grape juice concentrate in the freezer but ehhh I can't be bothered to make that right now. |

Well, time travel is kind of interesting. You can fool around, do whatever you want and then just go back in time to make everything undone. Or go back to ancient times and pretend to be some kind of fortune teller. Or go to the future, gain some more knowledge and return to your time, making a fortune out of it. That certainly won't create a time paradoxon |

i think the coolest superpower would be the ability to transform into anything or anyone. that would just be OP.
you could impersonate people and cause so much mayhem... or you could transform into a bird and fly away from your responsibilities for a while. ;P |
I think a pretty kickass power to have would atomic manipulation. I mean, pretty much every cool power stems from that. It's probably one of the most op things besides immutability. Which immutability would be pretty great too. Never get sick, never get hurt, never die, never have anything affect you in any way unless you willed it to. Pretty great.
|
I never had any interest in these sorts of questions - believe me, as a kid I was far more interested in whatever fandom I was in than stuff like that. As a teenager I could care less about even that and hold most of my interest in philosophy, so... yeah. Super powers, I've never been one to consider that.
As something related though I'd rather have a bigger mind, because the human brain is so limiting smh |
In all honesty, I'd love to be a full-blown Ta'veren. Have all sort of wacky stuff happen all around me, with the knowledge that the universe is shaping reality for me to be some sort of god king according to destiny.

smh @ my mother blaming my medication for me complaining. Great example of a horrible parent shoving her responsibilities to medical professionals, just pop pills into him until he stops talking y'all
anyway, laughing is really one of my biggest coping mechanisms. It just kind of washes away all of that negative feeling for me, especially with how much negativity is dumped on me daily... it helps a lot. |
Helps me a lot too. When I'm feeling down I usually try to find a good comedy to watch or talk to someone who I know will make me laugh haha. Really is the best medicine as they say!
|
What would really help is having a bed to sleep on, or maybe the floor. I feel so constricted on the couch >_<
Maybe I should go back to sleeping on the floor, since I have no bed. |
When I feel down, I still laugh. Doesn't help mostly, though. Only really good friends of mine notice when I feel bad, because I mostly just act the same as I do when I'm happy. I don't want people to see how I feel.

I can't stand having the temp on 68 at all. It's too cold. We were talking about getting me the old bed Jess and John used before they moved out, but I don't think that's gonna happen - she doesn't want to move it. Also, it was kind of gross and had bed bugs so I wouldn't want it anyway. |

68 degrees does not register as cold in my mind at the moment. :(
Although I say that right as I willingly open up the door here with it being 51 outside and it's nice and brisk. Freaking winter has made every temperature above 40 seem nice now. I actually found myself missing the south at times, which is odd because I willingly left it in the first place. :P I will gladly take its winters, but forget its summers rrrrr. And yeah, I prefer it being-- not so much cold, but definitely cooler. I actually have a problem even with summers here, it gets hot enough and forget sleep. I'm camping out in front of my AC by that point. |
Normally I love weather below freezing, but I can't do it with my bare skin and two sheets (near enough). I have to be suited appropriately, and then I love the cold.
These blankets of mine are single-layer white woven, and I sleep in my underwear so I have to be able to be warm. I can't sleep freezing and constricted on the couch :( Quote:
|
I cant sleep when it's hot ;( Annoys my boyfriend to no end, because I'll just toss and turn all night. Then he gets mad when I steal the blankets in my sleep. I'm an unconscious hypocrite.
70 degrees is A+ for me. |

Also I just tried sleeping on the floor but I can't because I don't have any pillows and I'm sick. Maybe I could use the couch cushions, but it'd still be really uncomfortable. |

I'm going to school from home right now because the school environment was beyond intolerable for me. I was actually really stressed out and dealing with a lot of other things and didn't want it on top of them, so... I'm doing online classes, not really. I don't ever do them at all because they're a waste of time to me. The college I'll be attempting doesn't even require a high school diploma. I've been told I should "follow through on it" but it wasn't something I ever committed to, I was forced into doing it - I was told I've come so far and might as well finish, and to that I've said I don't have it in me. I'm not interested at all, it's stupid. In all honesty I could care less about all of this - I just want to stop worrying, and stop shaking. My body is always so tense and I can hardly rest, I want to start being active and start being happy. I want to find a partner to love and I want friends to hang out with. I don't think that's too much at all. For now PC provides some of that :) |

On another note, I'm probably have to redo this whole year next year, and put off on uni for one :'( |
I guess it's hard because I find the vast majority of my peers rather... unremarkable. They're not people I can relate with well at all, probably because they're teenagers.
I've always got along better with those far older than me. |
Over here we used to have a great social security system for students, which made studying almost free if you got your university degree. People didn't have to worry about finances while studying. They put an end to it this year though. Now we have a loan system, which is worse, but still relatively good. You pay an 0,1% interest rate, and you get 30 years to pay off. I like the first system better, but this one is alright for now. I mean, I could study in America. *shudders*

I don't like how in America they force upon us meaningless education for the first 18 years of our life, and then leave us to somehow get training worth people's while with whatever money and wits we may have. On top of that at no point is any wisdom offered, for money or not. You can still have someone come out of college clueless, and have someone going into high school with so much figured out. We're left completely to ourselves to learn about higher things than bookwork. I think a lot more value should be put on the teachings of philosophy, and particularly Eastern ways of thought. It's mind-expanding how they think, and is vital for coming to a consensus and understanding with the world around us. Quote:
Quote:
There's been maybe one person or two that I had interest in, and they had that beyond-bookwork intelligence. But honestly there were teachers here and there that had that same thing that I really liked, lol |

Then again, I've been out of the loop for so long now. Back when I went to school, they were changing our system from 13 years to 12 years, which made school slightly more challenging as we now had to get more stuff into our head in less time. Not that I really learnt anything anyway, because I couldn't figure out the concept of learning until like one or two years ago {XD} |
inyotef darling
must every thread involve a discussion above how you above the american schooling system and all in it |
woah what's up with all the tl;drs in the DCC? i don't think i've ever seen that happen before.
i mean no offense but maybe you could make a thread about it in RT? it seems important. |

Yeah, by both Castform and Christos, whom both panicked after that because they broke it and wolf had to repair it.
|
The PokeCommBot was always a mysterious figure... to the point many question why he was even there.

The stupid bot muted me for saying 5 lines of text :(

The stupid bot was just out to get me because I was a better staff member than it. |
Well, sometimes the bot can make some false alarms when anybody types some lines with no intention of spamming, and that's no good indeed.
Meanwhile, I still remember a bot somewhere in a certain server which is not just for the bans and kicks, it was also able to utilize its battle mode too when you want. I think sometimes bots can be developed this advanced. |
The IRC's PokeCom[bot] is simply a shadow of SystemNet's IRC services. It promotes and demotes people and I think Steve/Jake can make it talk, and that's it. idek what you guys need a bot for anyway lol, since it's causing so much trouble
|
The bot is useful for muting spammers when we arent around or arent fast enough. It also detects banned words and autobans blacklisted members. So it's very useful. It's just kinda mean to nice users )<

Something tells me you should hire more @s
And I'm so confused as to why you don't like % and &. I mean, KISS is great and all, I love their music, but sometimes hierarchy really helps in making sense of things, and appropriating power too. |
Quote:
well okay then. honestly I see things like % as a position you give a seemingly sound and contributive member, and if they're good they move up. If they went haywire all would not be lost. I can see how & may be more redundant though, but halfop is quite useful. I think some IRCds have halfop in addition to op and voice but not owner and admin, so it is quite useful. But that was a long time ago. and I'll be perfectly honest and say every time the word 'driver' is mentioned I'm picturing my old squad leader Cody Driver behind the wheel of a HUMVEE. Thanks for the thought ;) |

But then again I can see where y'all come from. If there was a mode system on the BS I imagine it would be far more relevant. |
So is + on the BS completely pointless or what
Anyway, I found this hilarious thing on Imgur, with multi-dimensional humour: https://i.imgur.com/CN2kDZa.jpg |
Quote:
I'm at the bottom of the barrel ranks-wise, at regulars which is the low-class people who don't get any fancy symbols near their names and cannot do anything during a modchat except private contact. I was a voice in 2013, but only lasted a few months in the role and then the criteria changed and it said I was no longer deemed worthy. I guess having nothing special going for me was what eventually lead to the huge decline there activity-wise since mid last year. So while voiced members may look pointless, the features they get are things staff also get so yeah... it is pointless. |

Have you been to the doctor about that? That sounds very dangerous and worrying!
Also, consider building your own PC. It's a hell of a lot cheaper (99% of the time) and much more satisfying. It's not very difficult either. |

and yeah, I drank some water, though that didn't quite help. Luckily I can buy distilled water, I had a lot xD |
Sounds very strange indeed. Perhaps you ought to just take a rest?
|
Distilled water has no nutrients besides hydration the nutrients are normally what you need. When you said your having a hard time breathing sounds like you got some mucus build up or just plain ol fluids in your lungs. Your best bet is to go see the doc bro.

Quote:
She would not even pretend to agree to taking me to see the doctor for anything not worth calling paramedics for. The last time I had a mental and physical breakdown (couldn't walk/use my legs) she did nothing but complain and made it overall a really unenjoyable experience because she had to miss work. |
Erm... Pretty sure that's completely not okay... Can't you go to the doctors yourself?
Your mother kinda needs to change her attitude and help you. That's completely not okay and upsets me a bit that she'd just let you suffer like that. |
