Can you travel through time or gain immortality by using telekinesis? I don't think so. :P

Well, time travel is kind of interesting. You can fool around, do whatever you want and then just go back in time to make everything undone. Or go back to ancient times and pretend to be some kind of fortune teller. Or go to the future, gain some more knowledge and return to your time, making a fortune out of it. That certainly won't create a time paradoxon

unless you subscribe to multiverse time travel theory

i think the coolest superpower would be the ability to transform into anything or anyone. that would just be OP.

you could impersonate people and cause so much mayhem... or you could transform into a bird and fly away from your responsibilities for a while. ;P

I think a pretty kickass power to have would atomic manipulation. I mean, pretty much every cool power stems from that. It's probably one of the most op things besides immutability. Which immutability would be pretty great too. Never get sick, never get hurt, never die, never have anything affect you in any way unless you willed it to. Pretty great.

Alexander Nicholi April 15th, 2015 7:39 PM

I never had any interest in these sorts of questions - believe me, as a kid I was far more interested in whatever fandom I was in than stuff like that. As a teenager I could care less about even that and hold most of my interest in philosophy, so... yeah. Super powers, I've never been one to consider that.

As something related though I'd rather have a bigger mind, because the human brain is so limiting smh

In all honesty, I'd love to be a full-blown Ta'veren. Have all sort of wacky stuff happen all around me, with the knowledge that the universe is shaping reality for me to be some sort of god king according to destiny.

That reminds me, I think the universe more or less gives you enough to be happy if you genuinely want to be so. If you don't want to be happy you won't be, and if you do you will, at least mostly. As someone who is no stranger to trauma I can say this is true.

I would just like the power to teleport going places instantly so many activities.

Maybe you're not meant to take it orally.

But we still love him anyway. Staff or not, Andy is mah man :)

Jokes and hijinks ftw

Sirfetch’d April 16th, 2015 8:40 AM

We all need some good humor in our lives :)

Alexander Nicholi April 16th, 2015 9:30 AM

smh @ my mother blaming my medication for me complaining. Great example of a horrible parent shoving her responsibilities to medical professionals, just pop pills into him until he stops talking y'all

anyway, laughing is really one of my biggest coping mechanisms. It just kind of washes away all of that negative feeling for me, especially with how much negativity is dumped on me daily... it helps a lot.

Sirfetch’d April 16th, 2015 9:34 AM

Helps me a lot too. When I'm feeling down I usually try to find a good comedy to watch or talk to someone who I know will make me laugh haha. Really is the best medicine as they say!

Alexander Nicholi April 16th, 2015 9:50 AM

What would really help is having a bed to sleep on, or maybe the floor. I feel so constricted on the couch >_<

Maybe I should go back to sleeping on the floor, since I have no bed.

Ice April 16th, 2015 9:52 AM

When I feel down, I still laugh. Doesn't help mostly, though. Only really good friends of mine notice when I feel bad, because I mostly just act the same as I do when I'm happy. I don't want people to see how I feel.

That sounds outright neglectful to me, to not give your child a bed...

Try having to squabble with the heating/AC when all you have is two thin worn-out blankets. And she has a comforter on a queen size bed :P

I can't stand having the temp on 68 at all. It's too cold.

We were talking about getting me the old bed Jess and John used before they moved out, but I don't think that's gonna happen - she doesn't want to move it. Also, it was kind of gross and had bed bugs so I wouldn't want it anyway.

I mean, buying a new blanket wouldn't be that expensive right?

I just can't stand the heat.

Too bad it's only cold like 20 days a year 8(

The cold is great, I always open my windows up wide, even when it's freezing, and then I snuggle up between my blanket and my body fat :3

Sylphiel April 16th, 2015 10:14 AM

68 degrees does not register as cold in my mind at the moment. :(

Although I say that right as I willingly open up the door here with it being 51 outside and it's nice and brisk. Freaking winter has made every temperature above 40 seem nice now. I actually found myself missing the south at times, which is odd because I willingly left it in the first place. :P I will gladly take its winters, but forget its summers rrrrr.

And yeah, I prefer it being-- not so much cold, but definitely cooler. I actually have a problem even with summers here, it gets hot enough and forget sleep. I'm camping out in front of my AC by that point.

Alexander Nicholi April 16th, 2015 10:25 AM

Normally I love weather below freezing, but I can't do it with my bare skin and two sheets (near enough). I have to be suited appropriately, and then I love the cold.

These blankets of mine are single-layer white woven, and I sleep in my underwear so I have to be able to be warm. I can't sleep freezing and constricted on the couch :(

It's not about money for her, she just doesn't care to fix anything. That's her big problem, there's holes everywhere and she's not proactive enough to plug them. Claims its too hard, or that she's doing something else, or whatever.

Chikara April 16th, 2015 10:30 AM

I cant sleep when it's hot ;( Annoys my boyfriend to no end, because I'll just toss and turn all night. Then he gets mad when I steal the blankets in my sleep. I'm an unconscious hypocrite.

70 degrees is A+ for me.

That's awful! Why don't you get them yourself?

Because I don't have a car (or even a bicycle) and we live out in the middle of nowhere. If you want to know about money we just had an argument over $6 in her wallet because she's too lazy to activate her credit card to use her income tax refund for her cigarettes. :/

Also I just tried sleeping on the floor but I can't because I don't have any pillows and I'm sick. Maybe I could use the couch cushions, but it'd still be really uncomfortable.
