You're a good red.

I, on the otherhand, have been back at PC for three days and I've got no idea wtf is going on in any of the forums except from A&D. I just pretend I know what's happening to fit inplzacceptme<3

Hikamaru May 21st, 2015 11:41 AM

I'm active in a lot of sections at once, so it's fair I know a lot about the community as a whole.

Yukari May 21st, 2015 11:43 AM

I used to stick to video games.

...Then I decided to post in some other forums too.

Lycanthropy May 21st, 2015 11:43 AM

I personally prefer Pokémon Trivia over The Playground, because I feel most of the games there have a little more of a point. The exception is The Underground, I love Mafia!

As for other sections, I look around at many places, although some only sporadically.

Yeah, I really looked through the last couple pages just to find that post xD

Hikamaru May 21st, 2015 4:36 PM

I went and submitted my Time Capsule entry, and given most of those who already posted theirs were Blue members I knew I had to do this so we can catch up to them. I always fight with fire and we hope Red comes out on top at the end of this because I can never take a loss easily.

Hikamaru May 21st, 2015 4:47 PM

We've seen five Blue members post in the Time Capsules thread and now with my post that takes the Red count there to four so we're neck-and-neck with them. We just need more of our team to look in there.

Percy May 21st, 2015 5:22 PM

Oh yeah, I submitted my Time Capsule too. Its just some crap. :p

Bay May 21st, 2015 5:51 PM

I did my Time Capsule a few hours ago before I left, but man it's pretty heavy (at least for me ._. ). I think this will do good for me, though.

Hikamaru May 21st, 2015 9:24 PM

Is it me or have I seen every super mod join this event so far always end up on the #bluebloods? First Klippy, then Sylphiel, and now Livewire is on their side it's weird. Of that orange username crew, the only one who ended up on our side was Marcin aka bobandbill.

Oh yeah, and the question is... will the next person who signed up end up on our side or our enemies' side? The fate all lies in Sonata-kun himself.

Sirfetch’d May 22nd, 2015 6:11 AM

Hello my friends! Just woke up and man I am still tired haha X_X

How is everyone today?!

Sirfetch’d May 22nd, 2015 6:33 AM

Trying to decide what I want to eat for breakfast haha

...its a tough life decision each day =(

Hikamaru May 22nd, 2015 6:44 AM

Things have been sour for me. My family got involved in a neighbor fight all because some psychotic kid kicked our door and as you know, my mother gets angry like instantly as soon as she's upset so it was expected the fight would get bad. She even had to call the police, and it's making me worried that I won't live a happy life in such an abusive household.

Hikamaru May 22nd, 2015 7:19 AM

It wasn't me to set her off this time, it was some very ruthless child who kicked the door and she got into a fight with a neighbor. Totally hate the community I live in.

Hikamaru May 22nd, 2015 7:43 AM

The problem is, we're a cash-strapped family with loads of affordability issues so if we were to move out we'd likely have to live somewhere that's nothing but trash.

Hikamaru May 23rd, 2015 12:56 AM

I hope that at least one of the clashing families does move out. If it's mine than I do hope we can finally live in a proper house because my mother never had much of a chance to live in one.

Edit: Looks like the #bluebloods got ahead of us in the Time Capsule race again, with 8 submissions from them as opposed to our 6. We need more members to submit one!

Sirfetch’d May 23rd, 2015 1:41 PM

dw hika, I'm still going to submit mine! I just gotta decide what I want to write :(

Megan May 23rd, 2015 2:30 PM

Time capsules always invoke some sort of depression in me. Now that I think of it, there's yet another one I wrote on another forum. The things I wrote there wasn't exactly the most encouraging stuff I could think of. ^^"

But in any case, I just posted in ours as well.

Hikamaru May 23rd, 2015 4:19 PM

Looks like we heard the message and caught up to the #bluebloods again! They currently have 7 entries and now we have 7 as well. Hopefully we can get ahead when Chase gets his submitted.

Yukari May 23rd, 2015 4:53 PM

I would probably post there if I could think of something to post.

...Actually I think I have an idea...

Zehn May 24th, 2015 11:30 AM

I'm someone who would probably never get a good job again. I have the fear of being teamed up with people who pick on me, and that's what made me leave the factory back in 2013 because I just could not get on with the really old workers.

Wicked3DS May 24th, 2015 7:31 PM

You'll find something good Hikari.

I'm a bit worried about getting a good job more because I don't have qualifications. I have a job that works for now while I live at home, but sooner or later, I do need to get out on my own, so I'd like to be able to support myself.

Sirfetch’d May 25th, 2015 6:33 AM

Wow for the first time in months, last night I actually slept for more than 4 hours X_X It feels so good

Also morning everyone 8)

Hikamaru May 25th, 2015 7:53 AM

For the first time we're actually ahead of the #bluebloods in the time capsule race, and I think Chase was the one who boosted us. Here's hoping we can still come out on top as the victors given this is the final week of Red Vs Blue events.

More than likely you'll never top it.

So joking aside good thing we're ahead... For now.

We just have to hope we get more submissions while hoping they stay lazy at the same time, because somehow their group isn't interacting actively as much as us. Our DCC is also ahead of theirs in total posts which explains it.

I feel at this point though, we do have more "active" people than the Blue team does.

I agree, looking at their DCC there doesn't seem to be much activity in interaction between them compared to us. And while they did get in the lead in the time capsule race at first, we did make a late surge and are now one submission ahead of them, but hopefully another #radred can get an entry in.

Here's hoping we get crowned the winners of the whole event, and I'm one who can't take a loss well so I'd be kinda sad if the #bluebloods win but we did put up a good fight.

Good, you just extended our lead. That puts us at 10 entries and the #bluebloods at 8.

Still, we can't say much about the Daily Five Words. The Quote War had probably an equal distribution of point between the two, activity was a lot larger at that point at both sides. We might have a little lead in the Time Capsule, but I think Lucid scored as many points as our whole team at complimenting us.

Ah yes Lucid was the huge threat to us in the compliment challenge because of all the #radreds she was shooting quotes at, and if the #bluebloods are crowned the winners at the end of the week I'm blaming it on her. Thankfully the time capsule can give you double the points and we have like two more entries there than their side so we're still in with a chance, but the final results will be close.

You know, I'll still be extremely sad if the #bluebloods win. I can't take losses well.

Lycanthropy May 25th, 2015 10:21 AM

A loss wouldn't matter much. The worst thing that can happen is the whole Treehouse getting a blue forum style for some time.

Ah yes, we have a rugby league event here in Australia where New South Wales and Queensland duel for three games, and the team that wins forces the other state to fly a flag of the winner. I could imagine the Treehouse having to don a blue-colored splash if the #bluebloods win and I will be ashamed of myself for being on the losing team.

Losing matters to me a lot, because I always lost games every single time when I was younger.

Is it weird to think that losing often, gives you more experience with them and therefore being able to take them better? Or did some of them have real impact on you?

My losses always had terrible emotional impact on me, so if we lose this event I will be hanging my head in shame and say to myself "why oh why did you place me on the team that went down in nothing but flawless defeat" and I know why, because red is so not my color.

Hikamaru May 25th, 2015 11:30 AM

Please don't. Even if it's a competition, taking it way too seriously can actually damage your spirit and maybe your feelings.

I did take it seriously in the early days but that died out, but as you should know I am emotionally brittle and my feelings get hurt much harder than most people and that causes me to suffer insecurity. I had a very bad moment last Friday night when an abusive neighbor of mine kicked and damaged our security door, and I was like so scared.

It's often typical of my character to become a crybaby when I'm upset, it's what I've been doing since my childhood which has been very dark and troubled by bullies.

Well, at least I can brag about not getting any compliments from anyone. {XD}

Better being a good loser than an ass of a winner and always have backup if things go wrong; if you can't win the competition, think about what else you've gained from it and I'm not talking about experience, because that's lame. :)

Hikamaru May 25th, 2015 11:54 AM

I'm a sore loser, because of a dark and troubled childhood where I always found myself losing every single game I played. It made me want to avoid most competitive events altogether, because it hurts my feelings and I suffer it harder than most people.

In that case I have to wonder, why you're actually participating in this. I mean, you know that there's a possibility that we'd lose, but you participate anyway. Or did someone force you?

Sorry, but I'm just a little bit confused. ^^"

I had no idea it was going to be competitive, I went in totally blind. But if we see this event making a comeback I'll likely just be a spectator instead of a member in fear I end up on the wrong side again.

You know, you could have gotten just inactive, so why do you bother putting so much effort into something that you could lose anyway? I mean, there has to be another reason, doesn't it?

Hikamaru May 25th, 2015 12:18 PM

I can see what you mean, but I did enjoy some challenges but not all of it. That compliment war was definitely the hardest, along with the secret words. If the #bluebloods win, I'll just say "I may have been put on the team that wasn't successful but at least I did something" but yeah I will likely never sign up for events like this again, it's why my pal Starry Windy didn't join, he was worried he'd end up on the opposing side and would get sad.

I feel like I share too much in common with him for some reason. Friendly competition is okay, but it's much harder to deal with when you have emotions that shatter easily.

Megan May 25th, 2015 12:29 PM

That makes it even more confusing. Then again, I'm probably quite the opposite of you, since I shut down my emotions a long time ago, which created a ton of problems as well, but in a different way.

Anyway, there's no reason for you to not become emotional in such a case, it's what makes humans human. :)

Hikamaru May 25th, 2015 12:31 PM

I might have to take time off again, because I had been suffering ever since my family's unit was attacked and I want to focus activity elsewhere. But at the same time I'm worried about the Fairy-type club because I'm club owner and if I'm away for too long it'll die out.

acatfrommars May 25th, 2015 12:37 PM

Wait, how many points are we losing by?

Well, considering how long you managed to keep your club alive, it shouldn't be a problem for you to revive it successfully. ;)

The thing was, it was Dustin aka Jellicent♀ who was the initial leader, but he lost interest and went inactive and that led to the ownership needing to be handed over, and because I was the only consistently active poster (plus the fact Wicked couldn't keep it holding as he hates Fairy-types) there was no choice but me to take over.

It's fun to run, but the club has a tendency to be dead a lot. Doesn't help it's usually the most hated of all the types, because not many liked the cute and mainly feminine nature of the type.

Hikamaru May 25th, 2015 1:06 PM

Yeah, it'd be best for me to scale back activity. Just be more careful around me okay?

Hikamaru May 25th, 2015 1:17 PM

Most usual methods of calming down don't really work well for me as I'd first think. I have autism, and it changes your emotions drastically compared to someone who doesn't have it. But yeah, I will be going a bit inactive until maybe next week or something just to try and help me find a treatment.

Spoiler:
Anyways, I can admit the reason I have been so dramatic during these events is because I got slapped when everyone was posting in the opposing team's thread in the early days (and as a result posts were getting deleted because you could only post in your own team's DCC) and taking the rivalry too literally, and then "BAM!!" I was called out and I lost confidence, so that's why I've been such a sore person and always felt worried about myself. I will try and take the loss better should #bluebloods win, even if I won't take it as well as the rest of you. It's just that I suffered a loss of my own.

Sirfetch’d May 25th, 2015 2:43 PM

mfw people take such a lighthearted event so seriously

In my eyes, they carry as much drama as you let them. There are always going to be fights, it's just a matter of how many there are and whether they're actually legitimate or over stupid things. In my eyes, it's your choice whether or not you let a toxic relationship linger on.

Sirfetch’d May 26th, 2015 7:47 AM

I'm not one for relationships either really. I want to be in one but at the same time I really feel like I am not ready and should wait.

Sonata May 26th, 2015 9:04 AM

Relationships are nice. It gets boring being alone, and I believe there's a certain comfort that can only be given by a significant other. If a friend tried to imitate that comfort it would probably get really awkward really fast.

But then relationships can get really annoying at times and I'd rather just be alone. Idk. It's complicated.

Sonata May 26th, 2015 9:17 AM

I guess I've just been hurt enough that it doesn't bother me anymore. Now I'm more hurt thinking back on how much money I wasted on the person when we didn't even last. Like, I could have done so much with the money I spent on my last ex.

Megan May 26th, 2015 9:36 AM

As someone who doesn't even have friends, I have a really hard time imagining what a close relationship would look like. Actually, I think I'm better off, not knowing, because if I knew, that would probably make things worse for me, as I would always feel reminded on what I don't have. ^^"

Sonata May 26th, 2015 9:42 AM

I remember buying my last ex at least $200 worth of stuff. I know I bought her a glassblown thing of our names and it came with an engraved mirror and that ran up about $50. Then I got her laptop fixed after she was a dumb butt and got a whole bunch of viruses on it. I feel bad if I don't do cute/nice things for people I'm in a relationship with though.

Lycanthropy May 26th, 2015 10:02 AM

Nice and cute things don't have to be expensive. You can always just watch a movie on the couch together, for free.

Sonata May 26th, 2015 10:04 AM

And then she talks to her friends about how cheap you are behind your back and makes you feel even worse :)

Sonata May 26th, 2015 11:00 AM

They can wish they wear the pants in the relationship. But yeah most of the people I went to middle school and high school with were stuck up and thought they were the shit. And the few who didn't were either already in relationships or never talked to anyone in general so you wouldn't know anything about them to decide if you liked them or not.

I tried dating some older women my Junior and Senior year. But my parents were always over protective so seeing some 25 year old rolling around the corner with me in the passenger seat didn't really go too well with them.

Yukari May 26th, 2015 11:19 AM

This conversation makes me happy that I have no desire for, or interest in being in a relationship.

Hikamaru May 26th, 2015 3:16 PM

I can never get into a relationship that can last. It's so unfortunate because I'm so antisocial I can never find love at all, so yeah never will get a boyfriend ever.

Chikara May 26th, 2015 3:33 PM

Valentines is overrated, don't ever let someone tell you otherwise. For the last two, my boyfriend and I sat in bed with pizza and beer and played Super Mario Bros. 2 on his Nintendo.

We have yet to beat it in one night together- mostly because I sUCK.

Hikamaru May 26th, 2015 3:59 PM

I never believe in it either. Love is nonexistent to me.

Sirfetch’d May 26th, 2015 8:34 PM

In other news I was laddering tonight and haxed badly with confusion because apparently people use Confuse Ray Crobat just to be annoying :/

Anyways how is everyone else? 8D

Megan May 27th, 2015 1:43 AM

I've spend some time playing Pixelmon. It's really cool, especially because you don't need HMs and stuff, but it's clearly something you shouldn't play alone. {XD}

Sonata May 27th, 2015 4:52 AM

I'm just here playing ps1 games while I wait to go to the store since we ended up running out of charcoal last night so I couldn't cook all the things I had set out.

Sonata May 27th, 2015 11:31 AM
