I think extra supplies can't be a bad thing! I mean, this is the Pokémon world where even a flippin' bike can fit in your bag, regardless of other stuff. xD
#3 (And all hail Lord Fishing Rod!) |

Deaths: 0 What do you do? 1. Visit the big central building. Is it a town hall? 0 votes 2. Ask a random passerby to tell you about the town. 2 votes 3. Let's look for some supplies, we'll move on afterwards. 1 vote 4. Whatever, the quicker you reach the Lakes, the better. 0 votes 38. Strange religions Location: Lornami Town This town is a really interesting place, nothing like Bluestream where you grew up or the cities you've been to on occasions. The people may look creepy wearing brown cowls, often hiding their faces under the hoods, but you can't go against your curiosity. Using all the bravery you have, you start talking to the person closest to you. "Ehm... hello? What is this for town? What are you people doing?" "Ah yes, you're not from here. Looking at you, I say you're even from the other side of the region, am I right?" Before you had the chance to reply, she continued talking. "Welcome to Lornami, youngling! Here we aim to find the true meaning of life. We are no ants like those citydwellers, who live in offices with three people on a square foot, working all day long for a few pieces of paper they call money. Only a few things are certain, we can feel those as so-called truths of the mind during meditation. Ages ago, the Unown have granted us the alphabet that enabled us storing our findings on external sources to reread them later. We devote our lives repaying them for what they did." "Ehh..." 1. "How do you spend your day here?" 2. "Where are those Unown you're talking about?" 3. "Can you learn me to reach the mental state in which I can see the truths of the mind?" 4. "You're boring. I'm outta here." The next chapter can be expected in about 48 hours, back in regular schedule. |
I kinda want to go with the second option, but we should learn to be more sassy. ;)
#4 (Also, I have a feeling that we'd get into a really creepy situation if we stuck around this place!) |
I think our player shall be resistant to instances of theism unless a deity wants to be on the team.
#4 as well. (And wow the votes are dwindling. Where did everyone go??) |

#4, because we don't need to hear about boring religion, all we need to know is whether or not there's a pokemon gym here.
|
#4 as well~
|
I'll go with 4 too.
|
so, since i'm new, i don't yet have the level of sass required to just leave people in the middle of their explanation... i'll go with #1.
|
Aargh... Why does PC do this to me? I had it typed out, but it deleted everything. I'll try to get still it up today, but it might be tomorrow.

"You're boring. I'm outta here." 5 votes 39. Boring people are boring Location: Lornami Town "Yeah, whatever. I'm outta here, gotta go catch myself some dragons at the Gonji Lakes. Bye." you say and walk away, heading northwards. You hear the woman still talking to you behind you. "You're leaving already? There was so much I wanted to tell you." Then her voice suddenly turns deeply-pitched and dreamy. "Beware! Watch out! The tongue is longer than you think! The fruit, yes, a savior is nearby." That wasn't creepy at all. You run away as quickly as you can without looking back, until the town is out of sight. While you take short breather, you can finally take some time to look around. The landscape has changed a lot in comparison to a few miles back when Gregory drove you around. The swampy soil performs as the perfect ground for a vegetation you're not used to.The trees carry big fern-like leaves, the bushes are grown with strange-looking purple berries and even the grass has a disgusting shade of green. On the opposite side of the lake closest to you, you see a Goomy. Goomy, a blob that's officially registered as a dragon! This is what you've come for. How do you reach the Goomy? 1. Reach it? You can easily throw a Pokéball from here. 2. Go for a swim. 3. Go Surfing on Squirty. 4. Send Wynia and Scrambles to the other side. The next chapter can be expected in about 72 hours. |
5. Find some way to the other side WITHOUT having to go in the water.
...No? Okay then, #4 it is. |
#3
Guess we go Surfing. Who knows? Are there Dratinis in the water? |

Spoiler:
Hi and sorry for bothering you, but the story seems kinda stuck here and I don't want to leave it a tie with only two votes. |
Oops, could've sworn I voted!
BUT OMG A GOOMY! WE MUST CATCH IT NO MATTER WHAT! #1 |
whoops
i vote for 3 cuz i dont want a goomy. surf for other pokemons! |
Eh. A Goomy, it might take a while for it to evolve.
Hm. Who knows? 1. |
Goomy is a great Pokémon - but i feel like taking risks. #3, please!
|
Isn't Squirty a bit small for us to swim on? But I feel like swimming might be a tricm answer(sorry if I don't make sense, got a cold and I'm very tired -.-) so #1! THEN we can swim across!
|
So the quoting technique worked pretty well, if I may say so. You'll get a free notification once I wrote a new chapter. If you happen to get bored of the story just ignore it (or say it) and I'll remove you from the list and stop bothering you.

Send Wynia and Scrambles to the other side. 1 vote 40. Toad troubles Location: Gonji Lakes Okay, there's no time to waste, otherwise that slimeball may find a way to escape. You have one chance to capture it in a Pokéball, or maybe four, not much that's the point at least. "Pokéball, go!" You take one of the Pokéballs from your bag and fling it through the air. Flying over the lake, the ball makes a whizzing sound until it hits a solid surface. While you were pretty close, certainly regarding the distance, the ball missed the small purple Pokémon, bouncing on the ground and rolling into one of those purple berry bushes. Then you notice a red flash and you think to hear a soft click afterwards. "Wynia, Jingles, go check out what happened. We'll walk around the lake and meet you there." You start running in order to prevent losing valuable time, carrying Scrambles in your arms, because he wouldn't be able to keep up otherwise. For a moment you consider sending out Squirty to carry you over the lake, but then you realize you can't recall ever learning Surf to her. You would sink like a brick. While your attention is focused on the water you nearly trip over a Seismitoad, which was enjoying the sunlight near the water. It doesn't seem to be amused about you running into him. It stands up and shows off his muscles, ready to take revenge on the person who disturbed his nap. What do you do? 1. Turn around and run back. 2. Beg it to not hurt you. 3. Jump into the water. 4. Try the classic "Hey, what's that thing behind you?" maneuver. 5. Err... fishing rod? The next chapter can be expected in about 72 hours. |
4. Try the classic "Hey, what's that thing behind you?" maneuver.
this is gold i vote for this |
FISHING ROD OMG PLEASE ♥
#5 (Would've voted for #4 until I saw the last option... xD) |
#4 :3
|
Can't we just fight the thing? Whatever, #4 should work.
