Switching Pokemon causes a game crash (Anyone know battle offsets?)
So I've been going strong on this hack now for 11+ days straight. Luckily, the job I work at allows me to spend nearly my entire 8+ hours a day dedicated to developing this hack.
The unfortunate part is I somehow managed to screw up the code for switching Pokemon without realizing it. Its been 6+ days, as this is as far back as my backups go. (I stupidly removed the files just today to clean up clutter) I've been working incredibly hard on this, and I'm pretty bummed. I'm going to be spending the next couple days trying to find the offsets for the battle data, and I'm going to try to fix it. If anyone knows this information, or knows someone who would, I would greatly appreciate it. Until then, I'm going to be doing a compare files and copying bits and pieces of it. Thanks ahead of time for any information anyone can give me! |
Well before you go too crazy into finding the offsets, try using recuva to recover the deleted backups.
Sadly this is about all the help I can give, I dont have any of those offsets, but once you do find them use Le Pugs method of fixing the bug.(theres a link in his sig) |
