I finished bot games and then put them down, I pick up my Y game again and am playing it now.
I've caught some legendaries (not all of them) after Delta Episode, got 1000 flags in the secret bases and then dropped the game. The lack of motivation to play makes me honestly sad. :(
I might put it down soon, now that i've done the whole story, its kinda just online battles, and even that's getting boring. I might pick it back up eventually to fill the Dex.
I probably will get tired of them once the new main series games are out. That, or I'll get tired of breeding/dex naving/hording for shines
Still play every now and then. Usually just online battle.
I completed the National Dex! I might try to start breeding but I'm not really sure. I don't really have the patience for it so I might play some other games (Devil Survivor! Bravely Default!) and come back to breeding Pokemon.
I've stopped touching ORAS after I bought Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - also, after the Wally rematch.
Not a competitive player really. |
The in-game stuff got boring for me rather quick. I'm not into shiny hunting or anything like that. I mostly just battle now.
I gave up after I caught all the legends, after all when there;s nothing to do it's boring.
Before the Delta Episode, actually. I finished beating the league and then put it down for a few weeks before picking it up and doing the Delta Episode. Some silly thought about letting the game have things to do for just a little bit longer or something aha. Haven't really done much since finishing the Delta Episode, either.
I defeated Steven and the Elite Four with an underleveled team because Gallade = OP and then I finished the Delta Episode along with some special events like catching Spiritomb and catching some legendaries through the portals. I wanted to catch all the portal legendaries but I took a break after arriving at the Battle Island place and talking to all the NPCs (can't remember the name of the place ;__;). I intended to come back to the game and make progress on National Dex or begin playing the other version of the game, but that never happened :\
I put it down for several weeks because shiny Cresselia refuses to appear. D:
Right when i finished off steven i watched the credits put it down and took 3 months its just nothing in the game was really challenging although i enjoyed the delta episode afterwords if it was more challenging i would have enjoyed he game muccccchhh better.
I took a few months out after completing AS having done the Delta Episode, Battle Resort etc. I forget that I got the Special Edition Groudon 2DS so I have Omega Ruby to begin now. :)
On another note, what's the soonest you've given up on a Pokemon game? For me, it was X & Y, I defeated the Elite Four and stopped there.
On my first playthrough, immediately after Delta Episode is when I was like "okay, let's restart this game..."
Since then, I've reset maybe 3-4 times trying to finish another game, but I always seem to lose all interest once I reach Mauville. Like, in that exact area each time. It's really strange. |
I last played my Alpha Sapphire probably a couple of months ago, stopping shortly after I defeated the final Gym. There were quite a few side missions that I hadn't accomplished yet, and I didn't have any idea where to start, so I gave up, and switched to playing Y for a little while, but even that didn't last.
I really should find some time to play both these games some more again. |
I gave up when I beat the Pokemon League the second time!
Pretty much once I hit the Battle Resort. I've never enjoyed those parts of the game because I'm not that competitive a player.
Mostly at the end of the game, either get tired of breeding or finishing the dex.
I found myself playing AS from time to time every now and then. But I'll most likely never play AS as long as I played X... I was determined to complete the pokédex in X, so I ended up with more than 720 hours on it :P I'll also breed on AS every now and then but I can't find much motivation for it..
After finishing the Delta Episode. I'm not a completionist, either, and I don't feel the need to capture and train every pokemon to perfection. Did that for the third generation, just once, and it took long enough that I don't have the desire to go to such extremes again. I'd rather do shorter challenge runs instead.
I quit after beating the Champion and part of the Delta Episode. I play the game for the thrill of the adventure! I like traveling around and unlocking new things, and that doesn't happen often in the postgame, so I usually drop out around then.
I didnt call that give up but I gave up on Delta Episode..But I came back and gave up from battling the champ..Lol,nevermind..Now I call it Give Up..Lol! :/
I never really gave up, but the last thing I did on ORAS was resetting for a Latias with good IVs when my battery started getting low. I put away my 3DS to get it charged and essentially just forgot about it since I had more important things to do.
