More than 16 egg groups?
I'd like to add new egg groups to my hack, but I cannot find a tool/tutorial/thread talking about it.
Would it be enough to just change the byte containing the egg group ID? Say I wanted to give Bulbasaur a new egg group in FireRed. 0x02547B4 is the offset for Bulbasaur's first egg group. It says '01' meaning he is in the monster egg group. Could i simply change this to '11', which in decimal is 17. Which is 1 + the number of existing egg groups. Would that give Bulbasaur a new egg group? |
