Sappy Instrument Issue
Ok.. So I have another issue with sappy (I seem to find myself in the music field a lot lately :/ )
So I have my .s prepared. I assemble it, using the 'all instruments patch' as my voice group (I feel that this could be a problem but not sure). I overwrite the current location since its smaller, and 'cook it'. It sounds awesome in sappy! However. In game, it seems to be missing an instrument or so, for example one of my tracks I did was missing the drums, and this new one is missing the second piano track. Does anyone know why these tracks are being left out in game? Beats me. Thanks~ |
You have to use Trask's improved patch. The drums are missing in the original. In the second, I'm not sure what's going on.
Sappy will play the music regardless of how the game itself would play it, so keep that in mind. |

But anyway, thanks for that cause I didn't know that existed and I desperately needed my drums to sound better.. But that wasn't the problem. I actually just figured it out, the track that wasn't playing in game was blank under 'instrument' in anvil studio (but still worked in anvil and sappy for whatever reason). So I simply put the proper instrument in and there ya go, it worked. |
