Why aren't my inserted palettes loading?
Palettes are becoming the death of me, for real.
With the help of the FR Hacked Engine, I've managed to insert around 54 new palettes, from 32 to 86. However, only palettes 32 to 40 load their actual colors in Overworld Editor RE. 41 and up seems to just load the default hero palette. I did add the finish line at the end of the list of palette pointers, so that's not the problem. :/ If it helps any, 32 though 40 were used for both genders of the hero and the rival. Though 41 down doesn't load the correct colors at all, no matter what I use them for. What do? ._. |
Is it just in the overworld editor, or ingame too? If not, try using NSE or another sprite editor. Overworld Editor RE is outdated anyways.

About NSE 2.X and the loading individual overworlds from offsets, I tried it too, but they always show up as a jumbled mess. Either way, problem's fixed. xD I still hate palettes, though... ._. EDIT: While this is still open, anyone wanna tell me why whenever I do something menu-related (going into the bag, checking PokeDex, etc), then after exiting, the palettes of the overworlds go all screwy? |
