Unova
Hoenn
Kalos
Original Series
Sinnoh

My order from most to least favorite so I'm p much in agreement when it comes to the Sinnoh and OS outfits hahah. OS is just so... overrated? Most people like it for nostalgia. And Sinnoh was just so... different. Idk. Though I don't hate it otherwise I wouldn't have a plush of Ash in that outfit whoops it's still my least favorite.

Details don't say everything. Try dressing up as Voltorb, probably the Pokémon with the least details. You can only move by rolling. Fun.

Or you could dress up as Xerneas or Yveltal...

Hahaha, I never thought of Voltorb. But the advantage of Voltorb over Diglett is that you can technically have an accurate Voltorb costume, but at the expense of staying still. XD

I considered cosplaying as a Rocket grunt but I also wanted to double up with my sister as Magma and Aqua grunts but she isnt really into Pokemon and so no. ;w; I mean it's fine she didn't want to do it but... -sigh-

Actually, I feel that a majority of Ash's newer companions got more action and better character development than Brock and Misty. The only shame is that the English dub of the newer series is borderline awful, so nearly anyone who watches it wouldn't be able to take it seriously, unless they are either very tolerant OR watch the Japanese version with subtitles (preferred option). Sigh...

But on a brighter note, I think this is the most awesome thing about Brock, haha:

Sothis October 29th, 2015 7:36 AM

DyingWillFlareon October 29th, 2015 10:26 AM

I got Yellow and Jap Green this year and did the Mew glitch on the Green version, Mewshi is a beast sometimes. If I knew how to do it before I'd have done it on Yellow just after Brock, but I've got like 6 Badges now and lost the cartridge. ;w;

Meadow October 29th, 2015 12:51 PM

I think I've only ever cloned a Pokémon using the GTS method in Generation IV, but other than that, I rarely attempt to perform glitches at all. xD

Sothis October 29th, 2015 2:10 PM

42 I never knew there was a cloning glitch in gen IV too! Time for a team of Giratinas!

alisaie October 29th, 2015 5:36 PM

Oh man, I might as well just wait until Halloween to watch it, haha. But I must ask something... does this include the player's head? If so, then that would be insanely creepier than I had imagined. O_O

Speaking of glitching... I glitched my Emerald to clone my Pokemon.

Those missing heads are just creepy. Instead, they should actually do something like that as easter egg for Halloween: turning all the people into ghosts and zombies.

Haha, that's actually the only hack I've ever finished playing, loved it. Those nine (or were it even more of them?) Deadly Seven members were just genius, definitely my favorite characters.

@Revise, it's a hack that takes place in Hoenn, but in post-apocalyptic style. It has a great story line, but the level curve is really hard near the end of the game in my experience.

Anyway, since we were on the topic of creepy Pokémon stuff, how do you guys think of Pumpkaboo and Phantump? (They're not really creepy, but I guess they're still Halloween-ish. ^.^)

PageEmp October 30th, 2015 8:23 PM

Sorry for being off topic, but I decided to return to my Black 2 run so that I could improve my opinion on that game, and what is with that sudden level curve between the 3rd and 4th gyms!? Half of my gang is level 22, and the elec gym's ace is level 30. I know it's my fault for being underlevelled, but this is insane! I don't remember the other games having such a level spike! Did you guys have a problem with it?

Arrow_Riddari October 30th, 2015 8:39 PM

Not really, it's just the game's style. There's no straightforward path through the region, you aren't able to reach all of Hoenn and many Gym Leaders are dead with their Gyms destroyed. Getting badges can happen on very strange occasions.

I don't have a real preference for a generation. Each generation has Pokémon with a great design and Pokémon and bad designed Pokémon as well. Personally I don't feel like there's one superior or inferior compared to the others.

Hmm... I haven't experienced that problem. When I faced Elesa in Black 2, I had a party of two lv30 Pokémon, one in 29, a 27 and one in 24, which I just captured. Levels didn't really give me a high disadvantage. Have you beaten all the trainers in the rollercoaster and to the routes east and west of the city? Also, there are these sports accommodations where you can battle each day.

The Nuzlockes are always intriguing. There was a guy on Marriland doing a Challenge Mode Wedlocke in Black 2 who is currently on Victory Road, and while he has had only 3 deaths, all of them were killed by a Sigilyph, a Pokemon that tends to be feared in 5th Gen.

I've been doing the evolocke lately because I find it more fun than the normal nuzlocke, but me and some friends have started up an FRLG Nuzlocke race that weve both forgotten about. I love the amount of chances to get Rattata though because those things are killers at level 14/15. HYPER FANG MUAHAHAHA~

Arrow_Riddari October 31st, 2015 9:24 PM

@DyingWillFlareon: Currently doing a multi-region Nuzlocke, so one character goes through all the regions. May be a Fanfiction later [if it works out well]. I do have Dupes Clause so I don't reuse a ton of Pokemon and whatever I took to the Hall of Fame cannot be used in a later region. So like in Kanto, if I take Pidgeot into the Hall of Fame, I cannot use Pidgeot again.

DyingWillFlareon October 31st, 2015 9:35 PM

20.

@Arrow: Niceee, I'd do that too but without the Hall of Fame clause, just cause I like to think the characters would look up to the older generations of trainers. XD "WOAH RED ALSO USED A PIDGEOT WHICH EVOLVES FROM PIDGEY SO YOURE COMING WITH ME" -Gold Also, if you do make it into a fanfiction I'd love to read it!! :3

This. The only games where I usually have full dedication to are the Mystery Dungeon games. :D

However, I fear the possibility of not being able to finish Super Mystery Dungeon due to time constraints, unless I suddenly have a better schedule starting in January. xD

Arrow_Riddari November 1st, 2015 11:31 AM

I am usually bad at finishing Nuzlockes/Wedlockes unless if I am truly dedicated about it.

First time, I tried one on Diamond. A Bidoof stopped me [it knocked out my Piplup, Shinx, and Starly].

I did a Wedlocke in Pokemon My ***, surviving members were my starter [Swampert], a Butterfree, a Hariyama, and a Ninetales [the last two members- a Gardevoir and Snorlax both died at the Champion battle]. I did a Nuzlocke in Diamond with a level cap and my survivoring members were a Lucario, a Roserade, a Honchkrow, and my amazing Bibarel [both my Weavile and Barboach died against Cynthia's Garchomp]. That Bibarel defeated Dialga.

25 I've played all my pokemon games through, and my sonic ones, but never any other game 'u' I'm very limited in my interests, I have an old Mario game that I just can't beat xD

Not being able to beat it, doesn't seem to be a thing in the Pokémon games without giving yourself restrictions.

Personally, I love the post-game parts of the game. If there's none, the game feels so abruptly over when you beat the Champion. You're trying to get there and finally reach your destiny and then there's just nothing to do. This is why I love Sinnoh, because the post-game was of great size.

Pokemon games, I can always finish for some reason. It's other games that I tend to leave half done. Although, I still can't quite figure out why :o

28 Unova had a pretty good post-game too! There was lots to explore~

Yep, I really enjoyed Unova's postgame as well! I wish there was a way to meet the BW protagonist in BW2 through the Memory Link feature, but oh well. :p

Ah, but I think we would still need Memory Link to determine which gender our B/W protagonist was, as well as which starter we picked. I'm guessing the reason why Memory Link was required to battle Bianca/Cheren's original teams is because they picked their starter according to yours, so it's left ambiguous depending on the player. :p

N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *fangirl squeal*

Sothis November 3rd, 2015 1:38 PM

I am confused Zanark. What would be more accurate?

Still fangirling over N here btw... Oh and I made apple roses today. Hopefully N-Sempai will like them in a bento box... Oh wait I don't own bento boxes...

35 if they had used memory link in BW2 so you could meet the protag from BW

alisaie November 3rd, 2015 4:42 PM

36.

I'd say that it was likelt because of the lack of knowing what team to give your protag but in that case I would then suggest to just use the Pokemon that make it to the hall of fame when you did the memory link lmao

Maybe they thought it would be too complicated so we didn't get it :c

alisaie November 4th, 2015 4:24 PM

Guess so. Still disappointing though. :c

Memory Link was wonderful those were the days

I used it once and was like okay... But I wish you could battle yourself as a Champion instead of Iris, but only if you use Memory Link.
