I'm quite interested in cars, but not the cars typically talked about.

As my username suggests, I'm a fan of full-size American sedans, particularly older ones. I'd rather have a spacious, comfortable car than a fast, flashy one. Sadly, I'm finding it very hard to find a new car that suits my needs. The last possible candidates, the Lincoln Town Car and Mercury Grand Marquis, were canceled after 2011.

I like cars quite a bit. I used to be obsessed when I was a kid, but less now. Still, I do enjoy learning about and discussing cars. I go with my dad every year to the Philadelphia Auto Show and I love it.

I used to play with Hot Wheels, does that count? I started noticing cars more after purchasing my first car. That, and I had to figure out how to change the oil and put air in the tires. Does that still not count... I will take my leave...

One of the few cars I ever cared about.

whenever a topic of conversation turns out to be cars i tend to shut down until i sense the conversation is over as cars are possibly the most boring things in the world to me
certainly not something i would ever willingly join in a discussion over

as a result i can't tell one brand of car from another unless it's a very distinctive (delorean) and overly flashy (fancy ass sports cars) brand, have no interest in driving or learning to drive and ultimately cannot wait for public transport to be the only true mode of getting around

My dad knows everything there is to know about cars, but that didn't translate to me. I don't know a lot about them, and I kind of space out whenever my dad starts telling me about them. I know how to check the oil, and that's just about it. I've changed the oil before, but I can't seem to remember the entire process for the life of me, so I always have my dad help.

I've always wanted a Ford Ranger, though. Just a small pickup that's good for hauling a decent amount of stuff around, but not overly big. I drive a Ford F150 now, so I don't think it would be that big of an adjustment.

What car did you bought, if I can ask?

2006 Chevy Impala. I never noticed there are so many on the road until I got one myself. I see at least 3 other Impalas everyday lol. I can't recognize most car models unless if they're distinctive, as mentioned above.

Whenever I see a shiny sports cars, I whistle.
I've seen this bright yellow audi a few months ago, hella sexy.

Hmmm, did you looked the Chevy SS? the 2015 model?

The size is right, but it's a bit too sport-oriented for my tastes.

I'd really like cars with seats that look like these: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v493/Artillery/89ChryslerFifthAve8.jpg
(1989 Chrysler Fifth Avenue velvet cloth interior. My uncle used to own one of these, and those seats were heavenly)

My significant other comes from a big car family (motor oil in their blood) so I've absorbed some of that through osmosis. I still don't really care about cars beyond how well they function for my purposes (a.k.a gas mileage), but I have more appreciation for them than I would have otherwise and can at least follow along with car talk for a little bit.

It also introduced me to the happiest looking car I've ever seen: a bug eyed sprite

Cars bore me in all honesty. I drive pretty often and somewhat enjoy it but I have no interest whatsoever in the cars themselves. I probably can't name more than 10 or so car brands :c

Japanese sport cars always were cool for me, I always wanted to see a S2000 irl but they don't even exist here... Which is a sad thing, cars that were cheap at their time (for what they were) and we didn't had any of them here. :(

I like tuners :)

Cars are a somewhat interesting topic for me I guess. I don't consider my knowledge of them vast, but I do know enough to hold a decent conversation. My interest in them rose a bit when I purchased my first car this winter after our family hand me down pretty much exploded on me and left me stranded roadside for roughly an hour.

Spiff July 23rd, 2015 11:42 PM

a girl had to jump my car today because I didn't know how and well that pretty much sums up my knowledge of cars

Zoroark Cutie July 24th, 2015 6:47 AM

I have a large interest when it comes cars, especially when it comes to some older models from the 50s and 60s, especially if they were muscle cars and my favorites from back then would be Dodge Challengers. Nowadays, I'm more interested in sports and luxury cars. Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros, Chargers, too many Cadillac, Mercedes, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Ferrari models, a few Pontiac models (I especially love their Trans Am models), and of course Limousines. I would love to ride in one of them around Las Vegas and Los Angeles and it would be really fun and cool at night, or have my own personal Limo with my own personal driver although that'll probably never happen, maybe riding one, but never being able to own my own personal one. There are still some muscle cars that I like in todays cars, but not as much as the ones from 50s and 60s and even the 70s.

You wanna know what car I want???
