Favorite superhero?

Can be any comic series, or doesnt even have to be a comic as long as its a superhero. Green Lantern here. Im obsessed with space and I love the lore, mythos, and characters.

Tim Drake as the 3rd Robin.

I'd totally go with Tommy Oliver on this one. He's THE Power Ranger; the one all the kids wanted to be at school. He's practically a freakin' rainbow of Rangers at this point; he could form his own team with just himself and it'd be amazing. I love how his character has evolved as well over time and, whilst I was IMMENSELY pissed at his half-arsed appearance in Dino Thunder, I was still very happy to see him in it. Until Ziggy came along in RPM, no Ranger even came close to measuring up to Tommy's greatness...and Ziggy is great in a totally different way.

Iron Man and Rocket Raccoon. I like inventor types.

I think right now it's Hawkeye. I'm reading the recent comics by Fraction and Aja (which are so good) and I really like what they've done. This Hawkeye is just a regular schmuck: not fighting to save the world, but just to protect his neighbors from thugs. He's scrappy and resourceful, but he's not invincible and he gets the crap beaten out of him several times. He keeps going though. I just really like that he has a "I see something wrong happening so I try to stop it" approach. Nothing really more than that. Simple.

i wanna know if anyone had a favourite marvel superhero aside from one of the x-men before 2008

ummmm
wonder woman I guess!
she's the most interesting out of them to me aside from being Super Feminist because any woman who mouths off to batman from time to time is just wonderful

Nope. Nobody. Putting aside the mess that is the X-Men movie franchise, X-Men is one of the best things that Marvel ever made. They were the perpetual underdogs, always trying to be heroes when the world at large hated them. Who can't relate at least a little to that? And the fact that they had a built-in method of adding unlimited characters, spinning off into plenty of X-teams meant that every kid who read an X-Men comic or watched a cartoon would inevitably imagine themselves as another mutant with fun powers. You didn't even have to be a white guy like Batman, Superman, Captain America, Mr. Fantastic, etc. etc. since (although they had plenty of white guys in X-Men) they had all sorts of kick-ass characters like Storm and Rogue and so on.

Batman, especially the one portrayed by Christian Bale in The Dark Knight Rises.

I can't really see past the classics so for me it would be Batman or Spiderman depending on when you asked me. I love the humour of some Spiderman material (mainly comics), but I also love the slightly more complex origin and scenarios you get in Batman material. Both of them have had film series I enjoyed as well (TDK trilogy and the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films) which is good as I struggle to enjoy many superhero film series.

Outside of very obvious choices such as those, I would have to go with Batgirl. Obviously she isn't exactly unknown or anything, but at least it is slightly less obvious than the other two. I was especially enjoying her run in the New 52, but I wasn't too fussed after her reinvention last year.

If I read more comics then I am sure there is a possibility I would find a much more interesting character, but as it is I only have those.

SPIDER MAN SPIDER MAN DOES WHATEVER A SPIDER CA-

Oh yeah. So it's obviously Spider Man because i can relate to him the most. He has the best story in my opinion, a nerd who turned out to be an amazing super hero. He also was one of the first super-heron that actually failed to save the girl in the end. That's good, I hate the predictable.

DC - BATMUN because he's batmun

Marvel - Spooderman (cause why the hell not)

Korra. She is brave, caring, and strong-willed. She never gave up despite her mental illness, and that was very important to me! I love that character so much! (:

Meganium August 4th, 2015 10:39 AM

Hawkeye, Iron-Man, Spider-Man, Batman, and so many others I really love. But those I mentioned are my absolute favorites. <3

Story wise, it has to be Spider Man :3

Pokemon Game Fan August 6th, 2015 1:38 AM

I think it's obvious by my sig, but Batman. And I dont just like him cause everyone else does, I am a genuine fan. I know so much about Batman, you can quiz me. 8-)

In order, though:

1. Batman
2. Wonder Woman
3. Constantine (I know I know, Anti-hero, whatever.)
4. Martian Manhunter
5. The Flash

Yeah, I'm kind of a DC fanatic.

KENSHlN August 8th, 2015 12:06 PM

Mine would definitely be Iron Man. And Robert Downey just does so well with that character.

After seeing Ant-Man, I was really surprised on how it turned out. They did great in making him interesting, he's a thief, and Paul Rudd was also amazing in the role. I loved the wit.

But yeah, Iron Man for sure. xD
