World Act I Part II [FINISHED]

It gained consciousness as it could feel the atmosphere. It was inside a certain lab, where different scientists and others were experimenting on all kinds of pokemon. It could only describe the room as dark. And cold. It heard others, "Help me..." as well as "This hurts..." And many more conversations, "It's bigger than all of us..." and "To create the strongest pokemon....!

It heard machines beeping, and their hearts beating. It heard everything. It slowly opened it's eyes. It had enough. BOOM! The first machine falls, then another, then another, into a frenzy of chaos and disarray. It was too smart, too cunning, too powerful to contain.

It finally escaped. The scientists looked around the destruction it caused.

Finally.
They wanted to create the strongest pokemon.
And they have succeeded.
The world is in danger.

Woohoo, welcome to our first worldly contest: the PokeFlag Competition! In this contest, basically you and the followers of your region can work together to make your own 80x80 emblem for your region. If you're not sure about an overall design about what an PC emblem looks like, take a look at this example:

Holder of the Triforce
This member participated in a week of the Video Game Arcade Week! They now hold a piece of the Triforce!

So from this, you can have a pretty good idea about the guidelines that you should do if you want to make an entry for this. You can post your emblem entry here on this thread, or via PMs to me! Again, remember the guidelines:

Emblem Pic:
Description:
Why did you choose this as your region's emblem?

Now, what are the prizes? The top three winners of this contest will receive points for their region! First place will win their own exclusive emblem sized - PokeFlag Competition trophy for yourself, your region, and for the members within! Best part is, all emblems represented by your region will made into actual emblems and handed out!

The rules for this is as followed: first, don't try to copy any one else's entry. Cheater's never win! Also, no inappropriate images or designs, please! But that's a given anyway. Lastly, always be respectful towards a person's entry!

I hope you'll enjoy yourselves with this; if you have any questions, contact me, Dragon! Submissions for entries, will last until August 1st, 2015.

I guess I'll be the first one to submit an entry...it's a welcome break from all the writing I've been doing recently. xD

Chances are a lot of this won't make much sense until I've finished writing everything, which probably won't be by the 1st of August, so please excuse the long-winded, semi-nonsensical explanation. I actually had this idea in my brain almost from the start, so it's nice to get it out there now and give some clarity to my thoughts~

Titan's Laurels

Why did you choose this as your region's emblem?

First and foremost, Elysia is inspired by Ancient Greek (and Roman to a marginally lesser degree) mythology primarily. In Grecian times, the laurel crown was worn by the famous and the powerful. So it's both fitting and significant to have the laurel on the emblem; it represents Elysia perfectly in its goal to recapture its former glory and be worthy of the laurel crown once again. It's an inspiring flag for the Pokemon of the region to work towards.

It's also a grim reminder. Remember that phrase, "Don't rest upon your laurels"? The crown is where it originated from...after all, look at how those cultures and civilizations - and some of the people who wore those crowns - turned out according to the ancient writings. It's a double-edged sword: aspire to become great, but don't grow overconfident, or complacement: remember what happened the last time. Which brings us to the reason for the choice of the Pokemon sitting in the crown. Regigigas is, according to Elysian myth, the only reason there is an Elysia Region left: after war broke out amongst the Gods due to mankind's hubris, it cracked the continent apart and towed it away, saving a pitiful fragment of the Pokemon species that remaind.

Regigigas is not the most powerful of Legendary Pokemon, nor is it the most memorable. But it was its pride in the land - which, according to Elysian myth, was just one large landmass before it was split into continents by Regigigas - which prompted it to save a small part of it from beings far more powerful than itself. Was this a wise decision? The Elysia Region is, essentially, resting upon the laurels of Regigigas, who saved what little was left of the continent by reducing it to about a fifth of its original size and carrying it away - reducing its splendour and might to a painful shadow of its former self. It's not as elegant or as pretty as it could be, but it's highly symbolic and functional. It's an honour, but it's also a bitter irony and almost a mockery. That Elysia is encircled by mountains as a result of Regigigas' actions - in the shape of a laurel gives it further symbolism.

...the sprite was my favourite one. The icon is too small, the sprite is too big, and I don't like the Link Battle ball thing. The PMD sprite looks nicer and more detailed than the overworld one. That's ascetic vanity on my part. xD

I reserve the right to change the colour and positioning etc up to the deadline...although the basic concept will remain the same.

After many a painstaking hour, I have finally completed the emblem for the Heiwa Region! :)

http://i.imgur.com/PKIGd7f.gif
Floating with the Phione

Why did you choose this as your region's emblem?
While Phione is neither a mythical being or an old god in the Heiwa Region, it is a beloved sight for many locals. Phione are well known for being extremely friendly throughout the region, and they can be seen anywhere there is sea water. They spend their time floating along in the water, greeting people and playing games with each other. Truly, some consider Phione a mascot of sorts for the region. Its friendliness coupled with its laid back and fun life style are exactly the kind of things Heiwa wants to promote.

The Heiwa Region is not the place to bring your worries and your troubles. It is a place of relaxation and peace (I hope you get what I did there), a place of fun and enjoying the company of others. Just like Phione. So when someone comes to visit or live in the region, we encourage them to "Float with the Phione". To take a break, and enjoy everything there is to see. It's okay to slow down and go with the flow.

Description: The Hidden Power
Why did you choose this as your region's emblem?: The Theseus Region holds an extraordinary power called Pokemon Fusion, the first user of this power is said to be the "Hero", a young man who defeated the regime of King Dhaes along with his Eeveelutions. Eevee is the symbol of Pokemon Fusion, it is because of its unstable DNA, it can fuse with any Pokemon with ease. The emblem is a nod to the past of Theseus - the first use of Pokemon Fusion and the Hero and his Pokemon companions!

I'm not that well versed in art. I messed up a bit on the crown. I have no one in my region atm
Emblem Pic:http://i.imgur.com/sZsTCGT.png

Description: Crowned Sword
Why did you choose this as your region's emblem? Because it represents the region with the sword that represents the strife and combat. The crown is sitting on the sword, in addition to rule by combat as showing it is necessary to be in a posisition of power to gain rights to combat. Which also indicates that the hierachy of power is stagnant, with the only drastic changes in leadership is when a faction destroys another. The white between the colours suggest the division between peoples. The colours is the vision of nationalism from the people who are there.I hope I haven't misunderstood this.

Title: "Haeven is real"
http://i.imgur.com/16JDubQ.png
Description: A shiny sylveon on a fancy background with the symbols of each of my region's elite 4 surounding it.
Reasons an explanations: My favorite pokemon is sylveon so I decided to create a region and flag that represented it and other misunderstood pokemon. A lot of people assume that all sylveon are female just because they are pink, but that's not the case. Also I'm naming the sylveon after my irl kitten "Socks" because I thought he was female until we went to get him neutered lol. Haeven is a region that protects all misunderstood pokemon(and people) and provides freedom to all people and pokemon. It is a place of second chances and new beginings. (I haven't officially made a thread yet but this looked like lots of fun so I dove right into this :) )

Description:
The Balance of Dúlra

Why this is the regions emblem:

In accordance with the Myth of Creation in the pokémon World and the Legend of Dúlra itself... The Dúlra Region was created as the result of a longing for peace and tranquility expressed by The Alpha Pokémon Arceus and the Renegade Pokémon Giratina, after Giratina was cast away due to a great battle with Arceus... both pokémon shed a single tear each. These tears, embodying destruction in the case of Giratina and creation in the case of Arceus, merged as they fell to The World of Pokécommunity and as one touched the ocean as a great light that expanded into the region of Dúlra as it is today.

This emblem represents the close significance Dúlra shares with it's God and it's patron both. While Arceus stands in the light and watches over all of the World around it... Giratina slumbers in the darkness of the distortion World, silently guarding the World of light from the shadows.

The Dúlra region has many old myths surrounding these two powerful beasts, an example would be an old tale that speaks of an ancient song that when played atop Mt. Dia will grant an audience with Arceus in the hall of origin.

The only known legend with any stock behind it in this day and age, is that in a certain place sheltered by time and hidden deep with the Dúlra region there is an ancient temple. A temple crafted from strange and mysterious stone... they say that in this place, Giratina can pass freely into our domain and we too can enter the distortion World on a whim.

The temple in question is currently lost to time, but in certain places people are said to feel a supreme sense of an unease... an otherworldly feeling of simply not belonging in their current locale. On rare occasion, in the areas around Mt. Dia, some have even claimed to hear a tremendous roar of unimaginable ferocity that shakes the very trees with it's might.

Regardless of the rumors surrounding them and the myths relating to them, the pokémon Arceus and Giratina are of major significance to the people of Dúlra. They represent the balance between all that the region follows dilligently and the citizens of Dúlra, if asked why they do not fear the dark, will always respond:

"We need not fear... the greatest strength in the dark has learned from his mistake and he will always protect those from his home."

Blessed Grace

The emblem represents the ideals of the Saann Region, which is Innovation and Diversity.

According to early Saannites, Jirachi represents the ideal of Innovation who they say blessed the region full of it, and is the reason why Saann has some of the greatest feats. They also said Meloetta represent the ideal of Diversity, and how it graced the region with diversity and is the reason why Saann has a diversified Pokedex filled with type changes.

According to them, they also believed that the colors of white and green symbolize the colors of innovation and diversity, respectively.

Also put in the emblem is the official logo of Saann, and how it represents Saann as a whole.

Breaking the seal to chaos

The emblems represents an ancient story. The spot where Raoga lies in the current day used to be occupied with a mess of floating matter and energy, where the directions bent in ways we can hardly imagine. When Celebi passed by it added the dimension of time to the chaos, it managed to distract some order from it, which formed the basis of the land mass and the surrounding seas that form Raoga. Giratina stepped forward from the remaining chaos, now in concentrated form, in order to absorb it and release it in another dimension. The door to this dimension, centered in the region, was sealed with the powers of ice, lightning and fire. It is said opening the seal to feel the powers of chaos requires control over Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, the three living embodiments of those ancient powers.
The signpost is simply the symbol of Pokémon Choice Quest, what laid the basis of the ideas for Raoga. It shows life is full of choices and at each moment your decision determines which direction your life story will go.

PokéLive - Buy a piece of the future
>> Guaranteed for 45 minutes after purchase!

I've chosen to base Hendo's emblem on their corrupt business, PokéTech. I've already alluded to it in my hack and I've further explored their possible corruption in a news piece. PokéTech play a large part of Hendo's success as a freestanding region, so it makes sense that they would push to monopolise the region-representing emblem. On their emblem is the reasonably priced PokéLive device. It's totally not a con. Really.

I originally wasn't going to make an emblem, but since my thread is up and my map is done, I came up with one quickly. extra points for drawing it from scratch rather than just editing other pics?

http://i1343.photobucket.com/albums/o798/Nakuzami/Pokemon/Einrik/Divine%20Oblivion%20Emblem_zpsyorgh77l.png
Divine Oblivion

The remnants still fall from the sky, but it still boils from below, threatening to erupt again.

The two houses of Einrík, House Stone and House Grave (also known as the House of Ash), are in constant conflict with one another. The most recent civil war was only a century ago, but as trouble stirs again and tensions continue to rise, another war looms on the horizon. Here, the ash falling from the sky is representative of both House Grave and the aftermath of the previous war. The stone on the horizon represents House Stone and the lands of Einrík, while the magma bubbling beneath shows the constant tension between the two houses that is ready to boil over until it erupts once more, before the ash of the previous eruption has had time to completely settle.

The dark and light in the emblem, as well as the name, derive from the two pokémon of legend that dwell in Einrík: Sorciel and Furvia, who embody chaos and order, respectively. Their secondary forms, being Sorciel's Divine Form and Furvia's Oblivion Form, further display the dichotomy between the two creatures, and how easily order can turn to chaos and order can be derived from chaos.

Description:The Divergence of Sangyo
Why did you choose this as your region's emblem?
I chose to make this emblem with the sole idea of showing the overall diversity of the regions pokedex and pokemon. I mainly used the regions starter pokemon eevee to show it and also to represent how many different paths someone can take in the region like how eevee doesnt just have to evolve into one pokemon it has many choices like the citizens of Sangyo do. The cityscape as the backround is meant to represnt the rebuilding and industrialization of the region as well and how well its been progressing and healing since the wars.

We're ready to display the winners of the contest!

It was pretty close race for the top three as there are some really wonderful submissions here! Alas, with a panel of a few judges, we're ready to showcase the winners:

Coming in third place....

The Balance of Dúlra!

http://i.imgur.com/RGVhesb.png?1

A really nice emblem displaying the literal 'balance' expressed by Arceus and Giratina. A fantastic lore & description to boot!

Your region gains 2 points!

----------------------------

Coming as the runner up...

Nendios Glory!

http://i.imgur.com/t8o4srC.gif

The emblem looks really amazing, while it does have a short and sweet description, I see that it really captures the essence of your region well.

Your region gains 3 points!

----------------------------

And now, for the winner....

Floating with the Phione!

http://i.imgur.com/PKIGd7f.gif

Now, it was pretty clever how while this emblem is clever and pleasing to look at, it's.. the basic foundation of this region, as described. It certainly does look very tranquil, and the judges were very impressed by the overall design. Kudos!

Your region gains 5 points!

----------------------------

Congrats to the top three! If your region didn't get placed, don't fret, as we're giving 1 point to each participant, as a little side award. And don't forget, we're going to make these emblems actual emblems for you and the members of your region! As per request, of course~

At any rate, for the winner, your emblem and a little extra award is coming for you and your region soon! If you guys are not sure what to do with your prizes yet, don't fret, because we have a points redemption system to be posted very soon, so keep an eye for that!

Any questions, you can contact me, or Mana. c:

Dragon August 4th, 2015 2:45 PM

There was an island where it stopped to regain it's composure. It looked upon it's figure. It was a strange world it was a part in, it thought. Was it now destined for loneliness.. and despair? Was the island it was in, represent it's now eventual struggle to survive in a torn world? Even it knew, it was not like the others. The other humans... the other pokemon. It was artificial. A clone. Born in darkness, raised in darkness, it hated the light. The light of this world. The light of the actual pokemon. As time pass by, its hatred was what it kept it alive. Hatred upon the world. Hatred for... the parent pokemon it was born from.

Hatred even for itself. Mewtwo. It had enough. It finally revealed its power. Psychokinetic energy engulfed the air, reaching throughout the atmosphere. What does this mean? Before anyone knew it, it was to late. The dark hour began.

One day, it started with a Rattata. It raided a fruit stand's supply, but was shoo'd off. Then that number doubled, and then doubled again. The local region's leader quickly realized, the pokemon were behaving abnormally. Taruos rampaging through stores, Murkrow swooped in to peck at the locals, small pokemon like Aipom and Patrat infected the local's food supply - it was terrible! The only thing they could piece together, was that each of the rampaging pokemon had each a distinct feature: glowing red eyes.

Optional event time!

So, imagine that almost half of your region's pokemon started behaving weirdly, and that they started causing a ruckus in your region's towns and fields. What would your region do? What steps would they take to solve the problem?

To take part in this event you need to find away to broadcast your region's problems - this could be through news bulletins, roleplaying the action, capturing the chaos in an art piece - whatever takes your fancy. You can make such posts either in this thread or in your region thread - but please drop a link here so we know about what you've done!

But, note that if you and your region find creative ways to solve this problem, your region will be awarded points! How much points will depend on your creativity.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Enjoy. c:

Thanks :P

I was worried I didn't do good enough :D (for a minute I thought I was so bad I got 0 points XD)
After looking at the top posts though I can see why they did so well. Everyone did a great job!

Dragon August 28th, 2015 6:32 AM

After a number of days, it's plans was complete. It took control of the old, destroyed lab it was created in. The bio extracts from quite a number of pokemon Mewtwo controlled was in grasp. Soon its creations was realized. First came a Rattata, then an Aipom, then a few Fearows... as soon as it knew it, pokemon was coming forth to life back and forth. It knew that these pokemon had the same desires as it did, as they were clones as well. Clones of different pokemon. Hundreds of pokemon arrived artificially, still growing. Mewtwo knew that it was finally time to strike against the light. It's time for an all out war of humans and their pokemon.

Yoko has been attacked!

http://i.imgur.com/R9x9Cwg.jpg

A massive number of pokemon started to come in from no where. It was quite sudden; from Tyranitar to Slowbro, they've started to rampage the wide plains of a city. It was the first city in their cites of conquest, which ended in destruction and disarray. It wouldn't be long until they've reached the most populated city, with the queen, so the region decided to have an all out alert bracing themselves with danger. It wasn't the only region in danger, as these cloned pokemon traveled far and wide, seeking nothing but destruction. Will Yoko be saved? Only time will tell.

Mewtwo meanwhile, loomed overhead the destroyed city, as the leader of the striking pokemon. It then closed its eyes.. starting to transform.

http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140927043712/avatarrp/images/5/57/Mega-evolution-o.gif

It's full power has been activated. It was ready to fight.

Optional event time!

So, you can do many things: first, you can repel the enemy pokemon clone invaders from your region. Remember that they're not strictly pokemon from your own region, as they can be foreign pokemon that flew overhead, or swam in seas. You can make RP posts, small writing pieces, artwork, or anything else you can think of, to deal with this situation!

The Yoko region will send out a distress signal to regions, via letters, carried by their Altaria and Pidgeot. If you choose to help out the attacked region, you can have a confrontation with Mewtwo! Make sure that you make your posts for this on the region thread though, as the situation will be inside that region.

Again, you can make RP posts, small writing pieces, artwork, or anything else you can think of, and, even make a post about how your region will defeat Mewtwo. You'll get even more points in this event than the first event, and, the one who makes the best ending that deals with Mewtwo, will receive something special! Or you can work together with other regions with this. Up to you!

As always, points will be awarded for your creativity! If you have any questions feel free to ask~ There's not a clear date on when this event will end, but as soon as we get a good number of entries!

Umm I have a question. Does the distress call come at a random date? Or does it only come after you've taken care of the clones in your own region?

gimmepie August 31st, 2015 5:49 AM

I hope there's still plenty of time for this lol
We're taking on a pretty big endeavour with the UR stuff.

Esper September 1st, 2015 11:52 AM

I'm a little confused. Are there two separate events, like 1) describe how your region handles the clone invasion, and 2) how you will try to stop Mewtwo? Or is it one and the same? And if they're different, do we post the first one in our own region threads and the second in the Yoko thread?

I'm pretty sure how it works is the defense posts that go in your thread are treated as true no matter who wins, but for as to how you defeat Mewtwo only the one that wins is true. I've been posting defense posts in my thread and writing a separate entry to the contest.

Guardian September 5th, 2015 5:51 AM

Here is my entry on how to deal with Mewtwo, coming from Raoga region.

"Oh Im just gonna use my Dragonite/Garchomp/Dusknoir/whatever to beat mewtwo, I got this"
Lol, you aint got no nothing guys. I keep hearing this around Raoga and I guess people are too shocked by the entire thing to be able to think clearly. You cant send bunch of (even strong) Pokemon against a full powered physical form of mind power such as Mewtwo , especially when we dont even understand how the entire Psychic type works. Im pretty sure he could make your Pokebros's head explode right away if he wanted. He probably doesnt tho, he has a problem with humans, not Pokemon.
Magic and science are strongly connected and both are weak and resistant to each other depending on how smart the users are.
So this is my plan. You cant just attack the source when the surroundings suffer. You have three elements in this huge mewtwo problem.
1. Mewtwo controlling Pokemon.
2. Clones attacking Pokemon.
3. Mewtwo dealing the final strike on its own.

First things first.

1. Web Of Disturbance.

Mind controlling can be easily put under control. Mewtwo is already easening on it since he's now going to attack personally, let alone that he cant control everything. Raoga has higly trained Psychic Pokemon such as Gardevoirs and Xatus, but we'll need Alakazams and some other Pokemon from the other regions as well. They all will create a strong psychic aura around the entire Yoko region. It will cause a huge disturbance and Mewtwo wont be able to control the Pokemon. We'll need hundreds of these Pokemo. Also, when you see the Alakazams, Xatus and other Pokemon randomly scattered around the region, they are not there randomly, they will be put there strategically and please dont distrub them, let alone catch them cos they are making the Web Of Disturbance.

2. Bats gone mad

Clones and controlled Pokemon are attacking everywhere. Do not, and I repeat and emphasize, do NOT try to attack them back or purposely hurt them unless you're in a need of defending yourself. They have no idea what they are doing. Even the clones. They THINK they share Mewtwo's goals, but as emphasized, they only THINK so. They all need to be disabled from attacking immediately. You think you are the only one who can be annoyed by Zubats? Guess again. Raoga and some other regions are crawling with Zubats (surprise surprise) and we'll have 10002s of them ready. All the regions will be divided into sections, each section having 1 or 2 Crobats, each of them being in charge of a colony of Zubats. One Zubat has a low chance of Hypnotizing a Pokemon, but a colony? 100% if not more. After every cloned/controlled Pokemon is hypnotized, a single Zubat will be patrol around them in case they wake up, hypnotizing them back. All the Crobats will cooperate with Pidgeots, Braviarys and other extremely fast bird Pokemon that will serve as strategy sources and communication centers, whether guided by trainers or not. my Braviary and Pidgeot will be leading all the Birds in Yoko region as they know all the parts of this plan and are strong enough. There will be a group of Gardevoirs in each region specialized for going into sleeping Pokemon dreams, curing them of their poisoned mind, one by one.
This strategy works for all the Pokemon, including the strongest ones.
To make this a lot easier, each region will also have a small web of Arcanines and if necessary, other fire Pokemon, using a heatwave on all the surroundings, weak enough not to hurt anyone, strong enough to make air warm and heavy to make Pokemon tired. it might affect all the Pokemon so stay inside houses as it's necessary to be done. Zubats will be followed by water Pokemon to help them stay fresh and rested. Yoku's Arcanine will be led by my Arcanine cos he's basically the best, and my Gyarados can follow the bigger group of Zubats cos he is the best just as well :D.

3. Dragon Pressure Circle

You cant expect to attack Mewtwo and get away with it, let alone win on your own. Its like battling a mew, just a lot angrier. You just dont do that, just like you dont go into a cave without repels or into a Victory road without a Pokemon knowing Strength, you eventually regret it lol. We need to get to him, but first we need to lower his psychic abilities. Dragonairs found in Raoga are extremely strong and willing to assist in order to keep the balance. "They control the weather", someone says. But in order to control the weather, you must control so much more than just "weather". A colony of Dragonairs will make a huge circle arround Mewtwo, surrounding him. They will use their abilities to make a very high pressure field around Mewtwo. A big group of Metagross', Gardevoirs, Espeons and similar Pokes will be aside, guarding the Dragonairs with all their power. their sole purpose will be to not let Mewtwo's attacks get to them. Dont worry about getting under his control cos with the Web Of Disturbance and Dragonair's Pressure Circle, it wont happen (99%). This will force Mewtwo to stand on the ground and stand on one place restfully. From here, someone will approach Mewtwo and explain to him that whatever he's doing wont help and that he cannot punish innocent people for whatever some idiots do to them. If he refuses to listen, Group of Hypnos will force him to sleep, Gardevoirs and Haunter will lock him into a sleep, being led by my Haunter and Umbreon (they're the very best, trust me), and he'll stay there till he comes to his mind through the TALK and TALK only. Hopefully we might even get some help from Celebi, Mew or whomever else is willing to help.

This is how science and magic work together. You can take this plan, change some parts if you wish, but follow most of it and save everyone, or disband it and see the region collapse while failingly trying to go against Mewtwo with whatever strong Pokemon you think might but wont work. Just let me know in advance so I can prepare some sandwiches and get the heck outta here.
Peace :D

Anyway, Im not usually into this kind of stuff, but I want points so I can get Pokemon I want, plus I finally have some free time. Anyway, this should cover everything, what we'd do in our region, what we'll do in Yoko, and how we will successfully battle Mewtwo.
Good luck!

gimmepie September 19th, 2015 8:15 AM

Here's an index with all the UR posts I compiled.

United Regions Index
During Mewtwo’s war, many nations suffered terrible damage and losses, many questions were asked and answered and many brave men, women and pokemon served with valour, putting their lives on the line to restore order to the world of PokeCommunity.

It was through this chaos that we stood strong, not as individuals but as a single courageous entity. Where we may have bee weak alone we found unconquerable power in unity. Let the events chronicled below serve as a reminder to all that dare strike against us, when you attack one you attack us all and no single foe shall ever match the strength we share together.

I could link to it individually myself, but all of my own work on behalf of Dúlra, the final battle included, is right there in Gimmepie's post! So I should hope there'll be no need since it's a collaborative effort anyway.

Dragon September 27th, 2015 5:24 PM

Alright! So here is the judging results!

As for the saving Yoko and defeating Mewtwo bit: of course, there was still an entry that really stood out, and I'm pleased to say, the entries that seemed to be the best for the WoPC lore out of the rest iiiiis:

The Entries of Ceriah, Raoga, and Sanctuare!

It was impactful, it had really great development of the characters, and the writing style was top-notch indeed! So congrats to you guys! To the rest - please don't feel too bad; this was honestly one of the hardest decisions made, and it was for good reason! But yes, these entries are going to be including in the lore, but don't worry, I'll do my best and include some parts of the other regions' entries in the lore too!

So once again, congrats everyone, and thanks for entering! <33

I COME BEARING A MESSAGE FROM MANAGRIMM
Quote:

Hey, guys! I might be at work when the winner goes up so in case I win and aren't around to answer questions I wanted to write a small bit so people can start figuring out where they were during the events! It was a bit rushed since I only today realized Dragon was going to announce a winner soon, but hopefully it does the trick.

If you have any additional questions about clone behavior as pertaining to my entry (as it had really strong interpretations on their worldviews and temperaments) send me a PM or poke me on Skype! If my entry becomes canon and you want to stay true to it, however, a vague suggestion would be to follow about what they did in the story: they panic and go nuts. And being near fanatical, convincing them their worldviews are wrong is about as easy as being on either side of an argument between a stereotypical atheist and religious man.

Where was your region? If you like, it can be handwaved that your region had a small force in the Cerian army much like Sanctuare and Raoga. Just let me know first and we'll work out the details together!

The UR, unfortunately, had a bit too many legendaries floating around to be within the scope of what I can reasonably handwave into the background; my entry works under the assumption that [the UR] took too long to arrive since they were waiting on several regions to finish manufacturing equipment to outfit their soldiers - I believe there were posts describing this - whereas Ceriah already had its armory stocked ahead of time.

To be clear, no one arrived before Mewtwo and Ceriah/Sanctuare/Raoga arrived soon after. It's assumed the other regions (those who we don't end up retconning in) were on their way during the events of the entry. They presumably will arrive a day or so after my entry ends.
I've bolded the key ideas here. Within the next few days to a week, y'all should talk to Managrimm about how your people would fit into this canon. I would also like to add my own suggestion that if you would rather not have your region retconned into the attacking forces, Yoko is still in need of disaster relief! If your regions are getting there the day after Mewtwo is defeated in canon, they might reorganize their resources to begin assisting in the cleanup/rebuilding of the city and giving aid to the citizens. That all can certainly be posted about in the Yoko Region thread, probably as a few RP-style posts focusing on individual characters rather than a nation's full army. You could even say that your nation is sending aid without military force, as if the message arrived too late or your nation could not answer with a decent attack force. Whatever's fun, right?

But what's being said here, really, is that all other regions still have a chance to be part of the canon! So talk with Managrimm lol.

Managrimm September 27th, 2015 8:58 PM

I'm a bit tired from just getting off work, but I really want to thank everyone who encouraged me and helped me with the project! It was tough, but it was worth it! Thanks so much for your support, you guys! And thanks for picking us out of all the other entries. It's really an honor.

Dragon September 28th, 2015 4:45 AM

Okay, sooo, there's been some concerns about the points - so no worries, I'll be sure to rearrange that soon and distribute them in order of value, okay~? ^^

Dragon October 6th, 2015 8:31 AM

Okay, so, I still decided to give the regions who posted and linked their entries on this thread 15 points, so that's: Ceriah, Raoga, Sanctuare, Dulra, Oceia, Auria, Heiwa, and Theseus.

The rest, I'll do them separately here:

If I missed anyone, OR if I got anything wrong about the regions' entries, lemme know via PMs on skype or on PC right away! It's the quickest way that I'll find it out and fix the problem!

I hope this satisfies everyone!

lol it's nbd

Managrimm October 11th, 2015 10:28 AM

Unfortunately due to wrist problems and me getting suddenly ill I didn't post this up sooner, but here's what I worked out with the other region leaders regarding their positions!

A number of nations were beginning to form an organization known as the United Regions as a last ditch effort if all else failed. They were beginning to arm and organize themselves as Ceriah, Raoga, and Sanctuare departed and weren't present at the battle with Mewtwo's army.

Oceia, equipped with a few prototype portable devices meant to counteract risk of possession, escorted Ceriah across the ocean. They were invaluable allies in several large scale naval battles against roving oversea armies.

The champion of Auria and an Aurian Articuno also accompanied Ceriah, equipped with Oceian technology to protect it from being possessed. They were hidden by a Zoroark illusion, masquarading as a riderless Hydriegon until the critical moment. Together they rescued countless fallen soldiers who would have otherwise died.

Mewtwo's position was lost during the battle. Ceriah later reported that he was found dead by a Raogan general, impaled on debris.
