Editing textures in HG/SS
I haven't seen much research into this so I guess I will ask. Just today I decided to switch over to HGSS for my rombase, I made a test map and encountered this little oddity.
http://i.imgur.com/KZB134n.gif As we can see, the texture for the trunk is waving like a pond. The tree texture is sliding around like the waves. In this edited map I have 3 textures: texture 1: grass01gs texture 2: tree01_un texture 3: treekn The original map (newbark town) first three textures are: Texture 1: pond_on Texture 2: swave_p Texture 3: pond_edge Its a fresh map, nothing could possibly be left over. I even changed the terrain settings. The testmaps I inserted into diamond never did this. I'm really at a loss for thought, is there something else that controls the animation for those plains? Is their any research done on this? |
