If you could choose one Gym Leader to promote to Champion, who would you choose and why? Norman. For starters, we've never even had a Normal-type E4 member, so it'd be a refreshing change of pace. Also, battling Norman as the Champion in the third gen games would have been far more significant, in my opinion. As the protagonists' father, beating him would have given a greater sense of achievement and progression than what we got in Steven/Wallace. ...although if the character was making a return in the anime in the future as a Champion, I'd pick Byron. I LOVE BYRON....AND I LOVE DEFENSE. |
Would you like the main series games any more/less if they were on consoles instead of handhelds?
I don't like consoles very much, you can't play main series anywhere if they're stuck onto a console. I rather have a handheld to keep me occupied. |
If you could choose one Gym Leader to promote to Champion, who would you choose and why?
Cheren. He starts off as a rival and becomes a Gym Leader in the sequels. If he moved up to Champion later on, he would be one of few characters who go through a vast amount of development outside the player character who isn't seen as an antagonist, plus it would take more time and give a sense of achievement to the character. He also says he's not used to using one type at the start of his Gym training, so he could have his old team back too. |
Quote:
On to the topic, I pick Misty or Marlon because I'm being openly biased to the Water-type. Ahem, but seriously Misty's Starmie is a threat, she's gonna be a formidable foe if she has Lapras, Blastoise, Slowbro, Gyarados, Cloyster as a Champion in Gen I. |

http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/thumb/0/09/Omega_Ruby_Alpha_Sapphire_Liza_%26_Tate.png/180px-Omega_Ruby_Alpha_Sapphire_Liza_%26_Tate.png Tate and Liza. That was such a fun battle and I love Psychic-type Pokemon immensely. |
If you could choose one Gym Leader to promote to Champion, who would you choose and why?
Norman, maybe a plain ol normal champion |
Great answers! I especially like the Norman choices. It'd really add some depth to the character to have your father be the champion. Norman does seem like he'd be a good fit to be a champion too, not sure what it is, but something about him gives off a vibe of an elite trainer. Drayden seems like he'd be a good fit for champion too for the same reason, seems like an elite trainer. Not to mention, his version counterpart Iris became a champion!
Cheren would also be cool! It's been a while since we've seen a rival rise to the status of champion, and Cheren is one of the more interesting rivals of recent times. Tate and Liza would be interesting too! They were one of the more challenging gym leaders, especially in Emerald. And a double battle champion is something we haven't seen yet! Quote:
|
Otama beat me too it, but I would also promote Tate and Liza to Champion status. Something the series has never had before is the opportunity for a double Champion battle, so I think it would be an interesting twist. And as a result, a layer of challenge involving optimizing one's team for double battles would be added, forcing the player to approach the Elite Four challenge differently than if there was only one Champion.

Personally I think Koga would be the best, but he's already in the Elite Four so he doesn't count as much to me anymore.
Otherwise, I would say Sabrina. Her Pokémon are pretty powerful and she has the demeanor to be a Champion for sure. |
Quote:
Koga's pretty awesome too. I've always thought it was really cool the way he moved up from Gym Leader to Elite Four. It'd be cool to see him make the second leap to Champion. Question of the Day Do you have any music from the Pokemon games on your music player of choice? (iPod, mp3 player, any device you listen to all your music on?) |
Quote:
Spoiler:
They are my guilty pleasures like the core games! Hahaha! |
I have two, both by PokéRemixStudio: a remix of the Kanto Gym Leader Theme from G/S/C and a remix of the Lance/Red battle from G/S/C, which are both awesome!
|
Do you have any music from the Pokemon games on your music player of choice? (iPod, mp3 player, any device you listen to all your music on?)
So much musics on my playlist |
Do you have any music from the Pokemon games on your music player of choice? (iPod, mp3 player, any device you listen to all your music on?) On my iPod, I only have a couple of tracks from the anime. On my laptop, I have pretty much everything from R/B/Y to ORAS...including spinoffs. My mother's ringtone on my phone is also Team Charm's theme at the moment. xD |
Do you have any music from the Pokemon games on your music player of choice? (iPod, mp3 player, any device you listen to all your music on?)
I never listen to music on a portable device these days but if I had the opportunity to buy some Pokemon OSTs I would definitely listen to them and prove Pokemon is more than just for kids. |
I have the ORAS, X&Y, and BW2 soundtracks on my playlist on my iPhone :3 The Pokemon games all have some really amazing music that really turns up the intensity in battle, but it's such good listening on its own too ;)

Question of the Day Which of your Pokemon have traveled across the most generations? (e.g. do you have a Poke that's come from 3rd gen all the way to 6th gen?) |
I'm in the process of bringing all my R/S/E & FR/LG Pokemon all the way to 6th gen. 4th & 5th gens will make the trek too :P That's always been my ultimate goal when I totally fnish every generation's games.
|
Which of your Pokemon have traveled across the most generations? (e.g. do you have a Poke that's come from 3rd gen all the way to 6th gen?)
I have had several Pokemon that I've transferred as far as 5th Gen, but that's only because I don't have Pokemon Bank yet and I hate subscription services so don't expect me to even consider. Plus I feel like 6th Gen is where I should focus on fresh captures anyway. |
Quote:
|
I have a bunch of Pokémon from FireRed since I actually play that one often, but my oldest one by time is my Feraligatr named Gatorade from HeartGold. He is awesome :P
|
Which of your Pokemon have traveled across the most generations? (e.g. do you have a Poke that's come from 3rd gen all the way to 6th gen?) Well, before my copy of X crapped out, I had Pokemon that had come from my original Ruby file, making them about 12 years old. Now, I have nothing that isn't native to its original cartridge; I have yet to re-build my collection, and don't really have the motivation too. |
Which of your Pokemon have traveled across the most generations? (e.g. do you have a Poke that's come from 3rd gen all the way to 6th gen?)
Giratina and Darkrai from 4th gen to 6th gen. These things are unlegit means. |
I have a few Pokes that have come from 3rd gen all the way up to 6th gen. I have to say it's pretty cool having Pokemon that I caught as a kid in the modern generation of Pokemon, and being able to interact with them in Pokemon Amie ^^
|
Which of your Pokemon have traveled across the most generations? (e.g. do you have a Poke that's come from 3rd gen all the way to 6th gen?)
Oh yes definitely! The entire 3rd gen part of my Living Dex (Treecko - Deoxys) is from Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby. I also brought along other Pokemon I caught in those games and the teams I used. All in bank! Soon I intend to bring over all my 1st gen Pokemon (from LG and FR) and that amounts to 6 or 7 boxes. (Bulbasaur - Mew, caught Pokemon, and teams). |
My collection of transfer 'mons that I currently have on ORAS only stretch back to 4th gen. Unfortunately, bootleg Emerald cartridges had a terrible habit of corrupting the save data every time you made an attempt to transfer anything through Pal Park, so I was unable to keep any of my 3rd gen Pokemon. The oldest one I have is a Garchomp from the Safari Zone at SoulSilver.
|
I actually just realized, some of my Pokes that I have in 6th gen came all the way from Pokemon Coliseum, holy geez.
Question of the Day Has there ever been an event Pokemon you were really disappointed to miss out on? |
Quote:
|
Has there ever been an event Pokemon you were really disappointed to miss out on? Any event Pokemon I've missed out on I've been disappointed about, to be honest. I never got a Meloetta, and that upset me quite a bit, as it was the only Pokemon I needed a legitimate copy of at the time to fill my dex in Black. I also missed the shiny Rayquaza they did recently, which I wasn't overly happy about...although that was because the nearest Smyth's Toys is miles away in a bloody obscure location. Stupid place to issue an event anyway ._. |
Has there ever been an event Pokemon you were really disappointed to miss out on?
I never got a chance to get an event darkrai or any event items (legit ways) because I always stuck on home a lot. |
Has there ever been an event Pokemon you were really disappointed to miss out on?
All of them, actually. I attempted to try and download Mystery Gift events but my 3DS always never seems to want to connect properly so I decided to have no choice but forget them. Also, I don't want to go to in-store events either (here most of them are at EB Games) because my mother claims Pokemon is still only for kids and I hate embarrassing her due to our family's strict anti-embarrassment policy. |
I don't find myself keeping up with events that often, unfortunately, so I would have to say no on this one. Though, if there's ever any Pokémon event that I hope to see someday, I'd personally like it to be based on Jirachi; I'd love to get a chance to get a hold of it!
|
All if them prior to 5th gen. My router's encryption is incompatible with the DS games, so I missed out on everything Wi-Fi related until Black and White were released. For gen 6, I was disappointed upon being unable to grab a Blazikenite during X and Y launch day and missing the Diancie event on ORAS. Code-based events are simply inaccessible because of where I live.
|
I've missed out on quite a few events, but the one that was the most disappointing was the first ever American Diancie event back in October 2014. I actually did manage to get to the game store on time, but they had apparently run out of codes ;-;

Question of the Day If you could go on vacation to any in-game location, which would you choose? (could be a location in any game, including spin-offs!) |
Undella Town and Humilau City in Unova. Both are located along the beach and get very lively during the summer season. You also have easy access to a gym should you ever feel the need to battle someone. As a person who prefers a tropical climate, a vacation in either would be like paradise. What's even better is the fact that you can spend a vacation at both places; you can get from one to the other by going through the Marine Tube! How much better can it get than that?
|
Quote:
In addition to that, I also wouldn't mind taking a vacation to sight-see all of the Hoenn region. The whole region is like one big tropical vacation spot. And I love being near the water, which there's plenty of in Hoenn. |
I've missed out on a lot of event Pokémon so that's kinda sad in itself :(
|
If you could go on vacation to any in-game location, which would you choose? (could be a location in any game, including spin-offs!) Snowpoint City. Do you know how often I see snow now? I think the last time we had snow which stuck for longer than a day was when I was in my third year at University, which was four years ago now. For the weather alone I'd go to Snowpoint City; I'd probably never want to leave. It's also out-of-the-way and fairly quiet, which suits me just fine; I get overwhelmed very quickly in large cities, and I think Snowpoint is probably the only city in Sinnoh that's very close to being a town due to its size and the level of acivity there. It also houses the Snowpoint Temple and its own Gym, so there's quite a bit of local culture. The music is also very relaxing. |
If you could go on vacation to any in-game location, which would you choose? (could be a location in any game, including spin-offs!)
Oh it's tough to pick just one! I'd love to unwind and relax at Pacifidlog or Humilau as they're tropical and by the sea. In the winter, I would travel to Snowpoint City and pray I see the diamond dust. |

Between Celadon City, Castelle City and Lumoise City. Those cities are big and I can't choose between one. I might go with Lumoise City because it's big mallish city in my country |
If you could go on vacation to any in-game location, which would you choose? (could be a location in any game, including spin-offs!)
My Villa in the resort area in platinum :P Just need to get all the furniture and I'm all set, |
If you could go on Vacation to any city in the Pokemon Games where would it be and why?
I'd go to Celadon City. It has a big Shopping mall where I can buy anything I need and a Grass-type Gym. Hopefully no one hassles me for coins. |
I was expecting a lot of tropical beach spots, but I didn't even think about big cities c: Lumiose would definitely be my first choice in that department. Seems like there's so much to do there. And I adore cafes :3
Nimbasa City would be a nice choice too, because of their neat little amusement park c: Question of the Day Have you beaten the E4 with a non fully-evolved Pokemon on your team? |
I've done runs with Haunter and Graveler before, but I don't count that since they can only be evolved by trading. However, I have beaten the Elite Four while keeping a Geodude in my party. It was a bit slower, but it actually hit just as hard as Graveler most of the time and didn't do any worse defensively either. This is the only instance I can recall though.
|
Have you beaten the E4 with a non fully-evolved Pokemon on your team? I've used Dragonair a couple of times, because I couldn't be bothered to level it up fully and evolve it. Other than that...I don't think so. I've had so many playthroughs over the years I've forgotten exactly what I used for each one. xD |
Quote:
|
Have you beaten the E4 with a non fully-evolved Pokemon on your team?
Well.. no |
A few times before, definitely. This was mostly because of training purposes; I needed to have the Pokémon on my team so that I'd be able to evolve it.
|
Have you beaten the E4 with a non fully-evolved Pokemon on your team?
I had a Piloswine on my team in Soul Silver when I first beat the Elite Four, but aside from that I always tend to have a fully-evolved team by then. That is, if you don't count my brother's Diamond team where he had a Pikachu and Roselia still there when he beat the Elite Four there. |
Have you beaten the E4 with a non fully-evolved Pokemon on your team?
I beat Pokemon X with a Helioptile on my team. I'm pretty sure I used it for fodder. http://i.imgur.com/H0AyGbT.png |
Yes, though only twice. Once in Emerald with HM slave Zigzagoon, and in SoulSilver with a Kadabra, because I couldn't find anyone to trade evolve with. Nowadays I put "dead weight" Pokemon into the PC before the Pokemon League in order to have a full party of competitive 'mons, so that it's easier to cruise through the Elite Four.
|
I do this all the time with Pokemon that I find super adorable, since as Minccino or Pichu (I brought the Spiky Eared Pichu in HG to the Elite Four :3) And I also almost always have my favorite NFE Pokemon on my playthrough team: Doublade. It's an amazing Pokemon when you give it an Eviolite ^^
Question of the Day Do you use legendaries in your main playthrough? |
Do you use legendaries in your main playthrough?
The first time around, yes. I'll usually swap the token normal/flying type for the mascot Legendary of the version I'm playing, or I'll leave a space in my team for it for the majority of the game. Although in subsequent playthroughs I may not, because the Legendary mascot is usually substantially below my squad's levels and it takes forever to bring them up to speed thanks to the slow growth rate. |
Do you use legendaries in your main playthrough?
I always use them on any of my playthrough, just using legendaries makes things easier to finish, but that's just the habit. |
I don't use legendaries because I would usually have to grind them to get up to the level mean in my party and besides, I don't love them as much to the point where I would use them to enter the Hall of Fame. I also prefer a challenge given how easy the games already are; I don't need another crutch, where is the fun in that?
|
I don't use legendaries in my main play-through, but do when post-game. Though, most of it is for training purposes only, since some post-game areas (Battle Frontier, for example) don't allow us to battle with legendary Pokémon.
|

Do you use legendaries in your main playthrough?
Unless if you counted my brief moment using Reshiram in Black (before I traded it to Black 2 and lost it in the corruption hahaha) and Xerneas in X, I never use a Legendary in a main story likely because I already have a full team by the time the Legendary is encountered. |
Do you use legendaries in your main playthrough?
It really depends on my team. If I've got space for one when I encounter it I'll usually be OK with using a legendary. But usually by the time I get a chance to catch legendaries my team is already full and I'm to just too attached to them to kick one and make space. One playthrough of Diamond I purposely wanted to use Uxie so I left a space for it the entire game until I caught it, but other than that I've never used one outside running around with them post-game. |
» Do you use legendaries in your main playthrough?
Nah. Because by the time I get to any legendaries, I've probably already gotten more than used to the team I've been using up to that point, and thus have little to no interest in switching one out for the new pokemon I just managed to catch. To the computer you go, sorry. Plus it just feels kind of "meh" to use them. I'm not sure why, maybe it is because they tend to be so powerful. |
Not really. Most of the time they can be caught in a state where they can one-hit-KO almost every opponent in the game despite looking underleveled. I like to keep a team of 3 or 4 during the story walkthrough because it tends to force you to think tactically to an extent, most notably when you are outnumbered against a strong trainer. (ie. the Elite Four)
|
I'm on the same page with what most of you guys said: I don't tend to use them very often in my playthroughs. I generally tend to use a team of my favorite Pokemon in my playthroughs, and there's not a huge number of legendaries on that list (on the contrary, most of my favorites tend to be cute little first stage Pokemon :3) And there's the overpowered factor--zapping everything in my path with a super strong legendary just isn't as challenging.
Cresselia and Jirachi are two notable exceptions for me :3 |
Quote:
Pokémon with Flare Boost will have their Special Attack maximize, Pokémon with the Guts Ability will have their physical moves increased by 100%. |
Sluggish. Cuts speed drastically and lowers evasiveness.
|
If you could create one new status condition to add to the games, what would it be? What effect would it have in (or outside of!) battle? Exhaustion. Attack, Special Attack and Speed are lowered by 2 stages, and there is a 50% chance Pokemon may not attack during this turn. Lasts between 2 and 5 turns, and cannot be healed by switching. Watch people rage over that one in competitive battling. But Pokemon get tired, too! |
If you could create one new status condition to add to the games, what would it be? What effect would it have in (or outside of!) battle?
Buffed/Beefy: Attack stats and Defense stats raise by 25%, but Specials will drops by 25% |
Quote:
Inspired by Blue Yvetal, Calm: Special Attack and Special Defense is raised by 25% while Attack and Defense drop by 15%. Also, Freeze Burn: Frozen while taking damage over time. This would be so annoying! |
Fear: The Pokemon's attacking stats, defending stats, and move accuracy (if applicable) are cut by 50%. Speed is increased by 50%.
|
Do you use legendary Pokémon in your main playthrough? (I may come back to that current one later)
Well, I did use Xerneas against Lysandre the very first time I played X, but other than that, not regularly. I can understand why people use them, but it's not very fun watching them steamroll through opponents all the time. |
Quote:
For my choice of status condition, I'd go with Cold--sort of like a milder version of Freezing. When inflicted with it, a Pokemon can only attack every other turn, and their speed is cut in half. Question of the Day What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokemon? |
Do you use legendary Pokémon in your main playthrough?
Absolutely. I have no issues with doing this. I used a Jirachi during my Emerald run. I used a Kyogre in my Diamond run. I used Lugia during the last part of my Soul Silver run. I used a Zekrom during an Alpha Sapphire run. It's great! |
Quote:
This is going to sound weird, but a Metang in White was the most difficult capture I've ever made. There was no way to weaken it because everyone in my party would knock it out in one hit; it was caught after using up nearly all 45 Ultra Balls I had in stock. It was very unusual because I have had much better captures on most legendaries compared to this. I have no explanation as to how a regular wild encounter ended up like this, because it happened when I was least expecting it. |
What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokemon?
Possibly pseduo that is not fully evolved or wild abra trying to teleport it out. Luckily, I threw a great ball before it can teleport it out now I have a kadabra on my team :P |
What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokemon? Hahaha. Ha. Pick a Legendary that isn't Xerneas. Every time I've not tried to Masterball a Legendary - except Xerneas, for some readon - they've given me hell. HELL. Catching Entei in Silver was probably the worst, because it kept running away from me or using Roar and I didn't know about Mean Look. I went crazy trying to catch that thing... |
Quote:
One of the most difficult to capture Pokémon for me was the shiny Gyarados from HGSS! Most of my Pokémon were not impressive on the Defense stats and Dragon Rage cuts 40 HP! Not to mention I had no moves that can inflict status ailments! Fortunately it doesn't possess any Water-type moves, or it's gonna wreck teams like Kyogre! |
What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokemon?
If you are not counting legendaries, my hardest capture would have to be a Cryogonal in Black. They are encountered in what is a cave-based area and I use Dusk Balls on cave encounters yet somehow this one really proved to be resilient in that it took me 8 tries to catch the darn thing, and this was with using Dusk Balls in a cave setting. I know they have ridiculous catch rates but I remember catching one in X that took way less balls than this. |
What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokemon?
Latios. Oh no wait we got it free >:( I once spent thirteen pokeballs trying to catch a wild Ralts but I' have to say Primal Groudon takes the spot for the hardest! It took me 67 ultra balls! You can't even use the O-Power in there >~< Quote:
|
What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokemon?
Lugia in Alpha Sapphire, it took me 4 hours and like 15 attempts to catch that bugger because my Gardevoir traced its Pressure so it'd run out of moves and Struggle itself to death faster than you can say "I like shorts, they're comfy and easy to wear". |
What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokémon?
I'm not gonna mention any legendary Pokémon for this, that would be too easy to mention. And i'm sure i've had ones more difficult than what i'm about to mention, so i'll just name one in recent times. There was a wild Trubbish that I came across in Black on Route 5 while I was doing a Nuzlocke, one where I was only allowing regular Poké Balls to catch Pokémon. The darn thing took me nearly ten minutes to catch. It had a Black Sludge and was using Stockpile, and Swallow as well, so trying to get it to a good range of throwing a Poké Ball got arduous. And what's more, I didn't even end up using it. Later in the game I came to a Sawk on Route 18, but that turned out to be less of a hassle because I had two Pokémon capable of taking Fighting-types without any trouble, and it only took five minutes. When you only have regular Poké Balls, things aren't always simple. |
Quote:
Lots of legendaries mentioned here, because of course, that catch rate of 3 is brutal. I'm gonna do what Pendraflare did though and choose a non-legendary Pokemon: once when I was trying to catch a Skarmory (one of my favorite Pokes) in HeartGold, I went through about 10 Ultra Balls, somewhere around 20 Great Balls, and like 15 minutes before I finally got it to stay in the ball. I know Skarmory has a relatively low catch rate, and I didn't paralyze it or anything (just brought it down to low health), but it still shouldn't have been that difficult. As for legendaries, Deoxys in OR was the hardest catch. Between his recovering and the fact that he was at a higher level than most of my team, I had a really hard time. In fact, I gave up and never even caught it. Thankfully I get another try in my AS playthrough ^^ Also...Question of the Day is now part of the Pokemon Gaming Month event! For every 3 questions you answer, you'll earn 15 points toward PGM! Happy posting ;3 |
What's the hardest time you've had catching a wild Pokémon?
I remember spending a good part of an hour throwing Pokeballs at Suicune in HG/SS but it kept breaking free despite both a status condition and low HP. I think I ran out of pokeballs at one point though so I ended up resetting and chucking my Master Ball at it. I'd say it was worth! I thnk the most trouble I've had catching a non-legendary pokemon would be Eevee in OR/AS? I had way too high-leveled Pokemon so I spent the whole battle throwing pokeballs and mashing A in hopes that it'd help. It must have been 5 or 6 minutes later that I finally got it but at least it wasn't as bad as Suicune. :] |

If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why?
This question is ridiculously hard >~< After a lot of thought, I'd have to say HeartGold :P Johto is where I began my journey and it's where I'd like to end it :P HeartGold over Gold for better graphics and a larger choice xD |
If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why?
It would be the entire 5th Gen, but even if I had to choose one from that it would be Black & White. The plot was the most epic to have ever come out of a main series game, it always kept me on the edge when I was playing. |
The same as Hika, but I would instead choose BW2. Not only did the sequels expand upon the plot, they also added a lot of stuff to the region that made the game well-worth replaying. New towns, increased diversity of Pokemon, plenty of move tutors, PWT... They have new content that satisfies both the casual and the competitive player. I prefer the 5th Gen Pokemon sprites over the 6th Gen ones as well.
With that being said, BW2 doesn't come close to the originals when it comes to the story. Otherwise, it's a perfect Pokemon game in my eyes. |

If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why? I'd probably choose Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. I'd miss the Friend Areas, but there are a lot more Pokemon to grab, and I'd actually be able to get all of them, which has always been a huge plus to me in the Mystery Dungeon series. Experience tells me it'd take about three times longer to complete it as well, so I wouldn't get quite so bored as quickly. As wonderful as HeartGold is, it's missing Pokemon, and with DS Wifi services down there's no way to get them other than to trade between versions...which I obviously can't do if I can only play one version, haha. |
If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why?
Hoen, it just brings good memories of it. |
If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why?
Black 2 because I'll be able to fight every gym leader and champion anyway. Also because I really like it. |
If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why?
Oooooh, good one. But i'd have to go with Black 2 and White 2, if I can choose paired versions. No matter how much I play through it, I never get tired of it, it has so much to offer in both the main game and the post-game too. But if I can't choose paired versions, White 2, as I like White Kyurem and most other exclusives more. |
If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why?
If I had to choose one, I think I would go with Pokemon X/Y. I enjoyed playing the game and would 100% replay it over and over again. |
I'd also go with Black/White 2. There's so much to do in that game, it's given me the most replay value out of any game to date ^^ And like Laguna said, you can battle every gym leader and champion from games previous in the PWT, which I've always found to be the coolest thing!
|
If you could only ever play one Pokemon game again, which would it be and why?
Wow that is so hard to choose. I think I would pick ORAS because there is a lot to do in the game and a lot of Pokemon to capture. I think that I would make sure I had my living dex ready before choosing to play only one game forever. ;) |

Have you ever run out of PP and had to use Struggle during a battle?
Yes, I have. I can't remember the last time I did, but it's been a thing before. Sometimes when I run out of PP for a move that I have a Choice item for, but yes, I have had to use Struggle before. |
Have you ever run out of PP and had to use Struggle during a battle?
Hahaha yes. I don't remember what happened exactly, but I was battling Juan in Emerald and somehow one of my mon ended up Struggling? And I was so confused; that was the first time I had ever encountered that haha I didn't know that would happen. |
The last time that happened to me was when I tried to beat a Lvl 60? Metapod in Viridian Forest in HeartGold with my low level Zubat. I ran out of Wing Attacks :P
|
I was trying to beat an Aggron with like 1 HP.
