Is it possible to compile GBDK C to ASM, and insert it into Gold Version?
Is it possible to compile GBDK C to ASM, and insert it into Gold Version?
E.g. //Sure, you don't want to print stuff to the screen directly, the PKMN text boxes are FAR neater. But this is just an example. #include <stdio.h> int main(){ printf("YO-YO-YO,\nWELCOME TO YOUR\nDOOM!!!"); return 0; } //Then I'd hit compile, learn where the ASM is stored in the GB ROM, take it and add it as an ASM routine in my Stygian Version hack. Possible? Remember, if you're viewing this out of curiosity, and don't know Game Boy Development Kit's headers and C, then know that `\n` means new line. |
