Sick Sigs XD

Did PC have an error or is there a mild hacker on the loose? Ive noticed a bunch of ppls sigs, including my own which Ive fixed, have gotten larger fonts on normal typing.

Lion Heart April 6th, 2005 2:31 AM

I haven't noticed anything, and mine still looks normal, can't cross anything out though.

Imakuni? April 6th, 2005 2:36 AM

sounds like a problem i had with intenet explorer

Lord Jaws April 6th, 2005 2:39 AM

2 examples I know of right now are the sigs of Arcanine and rsgh5. Take a look and theyre bigger than you would expect them to be.

Imakuni? April 6th, 2005 2:47 AM

what browser do you use? :3

Why does everyone always assume it's a hacker? --;

He _did_ say that his own signature had the same problem, but it ceased to exist now.

Why does everyone not read the whole sentence? I asked if there was maybe an error. And it wasnt just an IE thing. When I went into edit sig I had Size 2 Tags on text I never even used them on.

Lust April 6th, 2005 2:52 PM

I think it depens on the browser you're using. They look fine to me.

Lord Jaws April 6th, 2005 2:56 PM

Id like to know how the browser changed my font size on me then. <_<

ravenstorture April 6th, 2005 3:06 PM

Maybe you put changed the size and you just forgot? o.O;

Lord Jaws April 6th, 2005 3:08 PM

I thought that at first but then I noticed some other sigs that had larger text than I remembered seeing beforehand.

The Fallen April 6th, 2005 3:36 PM

Correct me if I am wrong, but members with sigs larger then allowed are being fixed by upper staff to meet requirements.

Lord Jaws April 6th, 2005 3:44 PM

Nah I dont mean like size 7 or anything, but for instance, someone whos font size is adjusted so a quote in their sig takes up roughly one line now has it going into 1 1/2 lines for example. Thats how I noticed it wasnt only mine that it had happened too. Im sure I saw it on Andy's sig too. Andy did anything happen to yours?

O April 6th, 2005 4:09 PM

Maybe you increased the size of the text (If you're on Firefox).

Lord Jaws April 6th, 2005 4:16 PM

Nah I dont use FFox. I stick with bad old IE.

Cassie-chan April 6th, 2005 4:47 PM

Sometimes IE automatically changes the default font size, so that may have been the problem, not PC. However, since I'm not using IE right now, I can't tell you how to fix it...

Lord Jaws April 6th, 2005 4:54 PM

No, because the size change was in the Edit Signature box, not in IEs settings. Does everyone understand what I mean now?

Well Jaws also said my sig. And the first person other then Steve or Kwesi that tries to touch my sig is in for it. XD

Well I just got on, and I checked my sig and everything looks fine to me (even the size 1 font I used).
I would say it's your browser but from what I understand you only saw it for a few members. So I can't see it being your browser (it would do it for posts and all sigs if the font size was changed).

Morkula April 6th, 2005 6:43 PM

If you have a scroll wheel mouse, sometimes you can make the text bigger if you hold Ctrl and scroll. You might have done that accidentally.

Lord Jaws April 6th, 2005 6:53 PM

I do have a scroll wheel mouse but that just zooms the entire page, not specific text. I dunno, if no1 else had that problem then I guess Im just going crazy in my old age.

Hollywood April 7th, 2005 11:23 AM

I havn't noticed anything......

But I don't think it's the hackers fault. IE does weird things like that. *Kicks Internet Explorer* I've about had it with IE.....>< But I still don't see any problems....
