What do you think of my ORAS team?
Here's my team atm. I also have a parahax jirachi and landorus that I may want to use js.

FYI I will most likely be using this team for single or triple battles. |
A quick question: is this for Battle Spot, or for full-on competitive battling?
|
I would say it's for battle spot, since that's what I have used it for. It would be nice to do full-on competitive battling tho.

Blaziken, Aegislash, Mega Kangaskhan, and Greninja are Uber Pokemon; they can't be used in OU teams. OU is the standard environment. Uber is a ban list for the Pokemon that are too good for OU and is a tier within itself as well.
If this team is for Battle Spot: Brave Bird doesn't let Blaziken do anything noteworthy. Muscle Band's boost isn't high enough to make it worth using. Here's a better take on Blaziken: -Flare Blitz -High Jump Kick/Low Kick -Knock Off/Stone Edge/Protect -Swords Dance/Protect Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe Item: Life Orb/Blazikenite Ability: Speed Boost The Swords Dance + King's Shield combination is easy to play around against experienced players, as on the turn you use King's Shield, Aegislash may risk getting burned or being set up on. Here are better takes: -Shadow Ball -Shadow Sneak/Sacred Sword -Iron Head/Flash Cannon/Sacred Sword -King's Shield Nature: Quiet EVs: 244 HP/12 Def/252 SAtk Item: Leftovers/Weakness Policy or -Substitute -Toxic -King's Shield -Shadow Ball/Flash Cannon Nature: Modest/Timid EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk/4 SDef (Modest) or 252 HP/4 SDef/252 Spe (Timid) Item: Leftovers or -Iron Head/Shadow Claw -Shadow Sneak -Sacred Sword -King's Shield Nature: Adamant/Brave EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 SDef Item: Life Orb/Leftovers/Weakness Policy Greninja really needs Gunk Shot. In X/Y, it struggled to deal with healthy Fairy Pokemon with Hydro Pump alone, and in OR/AS, it gained Gunk Shot as an extra coverage move for Fairies: -Hydro Pump/Low Kick -Ice Beam -Gunk Shot -Dark Pulse/Grass Knot/Hidden Power (Fire) Nature: Naive EVs: 40 HP/216 SAtk/252 Spe Item: Life Orb Ability: Protean If this is for standard play: Remove Blaziken, Greninja, Aegislash, and Mega Kangaskhan. They're Ubers as I already mentioned. Substitutes are Infernape, Azumarill, Feraligatr, Wash Rotom, and Diggersby. Include Jirachi and Therian forme Landorus, as neither are Ubers Infernape: -Fire Blast/Flare Blitz -Close Combat -Gunk Shot -Mach Punch/Thunder Punch/Grass Knot/Hidden Power (Ice) Nature: Naive EVs: 100 Atk/156 SAtk/252 Spe or 188 Atk/68 SAtk/252 Spe Item: Life Orb Azumarill: -Waterfall -Aqua Jet -Play Rough -Superpower/Knock Off Nature: Adamant EVs: 172 HP/252 Atk/84 Spe (Choice Band) or 240 HP/252 Atk/16 SDef (Assault Vest) Item: Choice Band/Assault Vest Ability: Huge Power or -Belly Drum -Aqua Jet -Play Rough -Knock Off Nature: Adamant EVs: 92 HP/252 Atk/164 Spe Item: Sitrus Berry Ability: Huge Power Feraligatr: -Dragon Dance -Waterfall -Ice Punch/Crunch -Superpower/Crunch Nature: Jolly EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe Item: Life Orb Ability: Sheer Force or -Swords Dance -Waterfall/Aqua Jet -Aqua Jet/Ice Punch -Superpower/Crunch Nature: Adamant EVs: 144 HP/252 Atk/112 Spe Item: Life Orb Ability: Sheer Force Wash Rotom: -Volt Switch -Hydro Pump -Will-o-Wisp -Pain Split/Rest Nature: Bold EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 Spe Item: Leftovers/Chesto Berry Diggersby: -Return -Earthquake -Quick Attack -Swords Dance/Fire Punch Nature: Adamant/Jolly EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe Item: Life Orb/Focus Sash Ability: Huge Power or -Return -Earthquake -U-turn -Wild Charge/Knock Off Nature: Jolly/Adamant EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe Item: Choice Scarf Ability: Huge Power Jirachi: -Stealth Rock -Iron Head -Fire Punch/Body Slam/Thunder Wave -U-turn Nature: Careful EVs: 252 HP/176 SDef/80 Spe Item: Leftovers or -Wish -Protect -Iron Head -Toxic/Body Slam/Thunder Wave Nature: Careful EVs: 252 HP/224 SDef/32 Spe Item: Leftovers or -Substitute -Toxic/Thunder Wave/Body Slam -Iron Head -Fire Punch Nature: Adamant EVs: 252 HP/96 Atk/160 Spe Item: Leftovers or -Iron Head -Fire Punch/Ice Punch -U-turn -Healing Wish/Trick Nature: Jolly EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe Item: Choice Scarf or -Iron Head -Icy Wind -Hidden Power (Ground/Fire) -Thunderbolt/Stealth Rock/Healing Wish Nature: Mild EVs: 132 Atk/160 SAtk/252 Spe Item: Expert Belt Therian Landorus: -Stealth Rock -Earthquake -Stone Edge/Rock Slide/Knock Off -U-turn Nature: Impish EVs: 252 HP/240 Def/8 SDef/8 Spe Item: Leftovers/Rocky Helmet or -Stealth Rock -Earthquake -Stone Edge/Knock Off -U-turn/Explosion Nature: Adamant/Jolly EVs: 72 HP/252 Atk/184 Spe Item: Soft Sand/Earth Plate/Focus Sash or -Earthquake -Stone Edge -Knock Off/Superpower/Explosion -U-turn Nature: Jolly EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe Item: Choice Scarf or -Swords Dance -Rock Polish/Substitute -Earthquake -Stone Edge Nature: Adamant (Rock Polish)/Jolly (Substitute) EVs: 56 HP/220 Atk/252 Spe (Rock Polish) or 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe (Substitute) Item: Leftovers/Soft Sand/Earth Plate (Rock Polish)/Salac Berry (Substitute) |
Thanks for updating me on the meta. I haven't payed any attention to the list of ubers. You are very detailed and informative in the information you presented me. Looks like I'll have a lot of tinkering to do, especially if I want to be in the competitive scene. Btw you didn't say anything about Thundurus-I. Is he viable in the meta or is landorus better?
