Hello! I have just registered to this forum to find out how much this card is worth. I've checked on ebay without avail.

Thanks!

$0.50 max

There's a thread dedicated to pricing cards here: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=274173
Also, it's a common. Most commons are worth less than $1.00 unless it's a first edition.

Nah. I'm actually pretty sure it's a fake. That's definitely not a Japanese card. It could be from the Pikachu World Collection 2000, though, but that's not a very common set, and no one actually remembers it exists. Individual Pikachu cards from that are worth somewhere between $2 and $5.

It is a first edition. View the photo for reference. It was not on the internet anywhere, even Google images, so I'm guessing its a fairly rare card. As of what I've seen that is similar, there is a Japanese versions of the same jungle Pikachu, but it is formatted differently. Thanks for the reply otherwise!
EDIT: Donnavannj, thank you! I googled the Pikachu World Collection you mentioned above and saw a card exactly like mine. It is not a Japanese card, rather Chinese. It is some type of promo card from the Pikachu World Collection. I did research and it's worth about $10-$20. Thanks once again everyone!

First off, not a First Edition. Only cards from the actual sets got First Editions. Promotional cards never got the First Edition treatment.

Secondly, I'm actually fairly certain it's a Pikachu from the 2000 Pikachu World Collection, the more I think about it.

Yeah, sorry. I'm a Pokemon noob and I just bought a huge box of cards at a garage sale for $5 to sell them. I thought that First Edition just meant 1996-2000. Thanks!

Oh sorry, my bad!
I saw the artwork and just assumed it was a Chinese version of the Jungle set Pikachu, I didn't notice the symbol on the left of the card... It appears to be this card;

Prices seem to be around $4-$12 although I can't find many places that sell it.

First Edition refers to a stamp that is a black, filled-in circle with a 1 in the center when referring to English cards, but it only exists on English cards released before 2003. Coincidentally, Japanese cards picked up "First Edition" as a version of the cards in 2003 (but they say "First Edition" on the card).

Bit more than I guessed. More people seem to be becoming aware of this set's existence.

Nope, it isn't Japanese, it is Chinese. The regular Chinese card I would price at about $0.10 outside of China. There isn't a huge demand for Chinese cards. The English or Japanese version would be $0.50. However, this is the World Championship version and would be valued at about $7.50. Finding an actual value is hard though.
