My First Team (Stall)

This is my first attempt at my own competitive, and stall is kinda my play style, so here's the team I came up with:

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Foul Play

This is, of course, the core of the stall.

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 28 SpD / 16 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Acid Spray
- Toxic Spikes

Tentacruel plays the role of hazard removal, and can also can deal with Clefable.

Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Heal Bell

Chansey can counter most special attackers, and takes the attacks like a beast. It can also serve a clerical role.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Body Slam
- Wish
- Protect

Jirachi can take care of them Fairies, and can use Body Slam and Wish support.

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Thunder Wave
- Psyshock

Slowbro provides a good physical wall, taking some stress off of Sableye.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Calm Mind
- Stealth Rock

Clefable provides a good counter for Mega Sableye, and works as Stealth Rock setter and Unaware Wall.

I'm sure that there are improvements that I can make, please give some feedback. Thanks! :)

I'd swap Wish for Calm Mind on Clefable really. You already have a Wish passer in Jirachi and the majority of your team can already heal themselves, but you lack a way to break opposing (non-Unaware) stall.

OK, so the new Clefable build would just be this:

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Flamethrower
- Calm Mind
- Stealth Rock

Just swap putting Calm Mind in for Wish? Also, are there any common sets that I should be worried about?

Nice team. I only see pokemon such as Crawdaunt and a well played Choice Band Azumarill being a problem to your team. However, for your sets I suggest you change Toxic for Foul Play on Mega Sableye since you don't need two status moves on it. Your Clefable CM set should be: Softboiled, Calm Mind, Moonblast, Flamethrower/Thunder Wave. Put Stealth Rock over Toxic on Chansey

I understand this, but isn't there a restriction on Unaware Clefable with Softboiled?

You are right, my bad. Use Moonlight over Softboiled then

Sweet. Made all of the adjustments and went for a playtest, the first opponent forfeited. This seems like a good sign. Thanks!

You should update your OP with the changes you've made :p How well have you been handling common wallbreakers so far?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that {XD} For the most part I've been doing good, just silly mistakes. I did run into a problem with Mega 'Zard Y, and a Choice Band Azumarill. Not sure if it was just my inexperience, but they wrecked me really hard.

So the few main issues i spotted is that you have a few niggling issues here.

- Nothing can really switch into EQ's. I mean if you come across something like a SD LO Excadrill in the sand, you are basically done. Same with CB EQ users. This can be solved with a a bulky flying type i.e Gliscor, Skarm etc.

- SD Knock Off Specially Defensive Gliscor is a straight 6-0. Same with Suicune and Manaphy and Megabro. Since you have SR on Chansey and Wish on Rachi, id just go with Rest/Sleep Talk/Calm Mind/Moonblast Clefable. Strange set but it beats all of the aforementioned with ease and makes a nice win con combining unaware with magic guard for the most part.

- 2 SR users is redundant.

- No ground type means teams that use Volt Switch will be problematic. Sure Chansey can take the Volt Switch but it puts alot of unneeded pressure when the incoming physical sweeper keeps forcing her out and it can lead to your team getting worn down and things like Thundurus will be annoying.

- Bisharp basically slaughters you with SD if either sable is weakened or it has a lum berry. This is probably the inherent issue of not having a bulky ground too.

Ill post more later if i can think of anything.
