Rombase Help

Hey guys,
I am looking for a Fire red Rom base with updated graphics. The best one I have found is called "Black & White Tiles" which would be perfect except that when I apply the .ips file it converts the rom to a Japanese version.

So does anyone know of a decent rombase with updated tilesets? or how I can fix the one I have?

You can export the tilesets from A-Map through the block editor and reinsert them.
  1. Open your patched rom.
  2. Load a map with the tiles you want.
  3. Click "Picture>Save Tileset (1 or 2)"
  4. Click "Blocks>Save Tileset (1 or 2)"
  5. Open your rom you're going to hack.
  6. Open the block editor.
  7. Click "Picture>Load Tileset (1 or 2)"
  8. Click "Blocks>Load Tileset (1 or 2)"
  9. Click "Palette>Load current palette from file."
  10. Select the .pal file that was automatically saved with your tileset
  11. Finally, click "Palette>Write palette changes to ROM"

But this only changes one palette so you need to repeat the steps for any other palette changes. export the blocks once more at the end and reinsert them, so all the colours are fixed. on your blocks.
