I do feel sorry for Belgium who outright cancelled their events due to fears of terrorism. It's like Europe has been getting more sensitive since the Paris attacks in November.

Also hi back!

I mean, I'm sure it's one hell of an experience. I'd say go for it if it isn't frigid.

I think cautious is a much more appropriate word. I can't really blame them.

Post-traumatic stress disorder sucks. I imagine how many of the French are going through that after such an event. Plus, it was so awesome to hear Eagles Of Death Metal get over the incident and they are planning to get their European tour back on track very soon.

I'm the type to always avoid working extra. Anytime I get offered a chance to leave early, I usually take it - even if I need the money more. I'm weird.

I understand you, bro 8) I don't get paid for overtime though, I just get some extra time I can use to quit early some other day.

Hikamaru January 3rd, 2016 4:17 AM

I don't mind the pay, I just hate working so excessively. That's why I quit my most recent job, because so much repetitive packaging work was shoved down my throat.

Sean January 3rd, 2016 9:03 AM

God I would kill to even FIND a job it is so difficult

Hikamaru January 3rd, 2016 11:42 AM

Summer is a fun season... unless if you live in a hot climate like me.

Lumina January 3rd, 2016 9:21 PM

I don't much like summer, too hot. I really don't do well with heat.

Took me almost a year to get my job. The first 4 months I was working 50-60 hours a week for just slightly above minimum wage, then about two months ago I got a dollar raise and then last month I went up to 10.50 and got a promotion, and now I'm getting ready to get another promotion to an OS and I'll be getting 15. And thankfully they've got me back to working 35-50 hour weeks now. Most weeks I'm scheduled for between 35-40, but nobody ever gets out of there on time so it usually comes out to around forty something. Like this week i was scheduled for 38 hours but I've been staying a couple hours later a day to do sidework and learn some management stuff. I dont mind the overtime as long as they're not giving me like 5 extra hours a day. Like tonight my manager wanted me to work third shift service which would have had me on the clock for 16 hours.

killer-curry January 5th, 2016 7:33 AM

Finally... got my part time job. $5 per hour. Working from 8 am to 7 pm as a shop keeper assistant.

It is really obvious that nowadays people are finding very hard to get a job with better wages due to increasing living cost. As a post - graduate secondary school student, I also find it very hard to find a suitable job because most of the shop owners or managers will not going to employ a student without any certificate ( *** this who cares, but it is very important just in case ).

Besides, in order to save more money to cope with increasing amount of maintenance fees, they just rather employ less which even harder to find a chance to get employed.

But thinking about my job, I like this job though. I working in chinese medical shop so I can learn more about chinese medicine. The staffs are very friendly and always stay clam when they meet with special customer or when I do mistakes. The best thing is, there are two cats right in front of shop which are darn cute but always beg us for food ( LoL )

I still don't have a job ;~; I worked at my grandparent's old business after they passed until we could sell it(didn't wanna hire more people) and it was nice pay but I need something now. Part of me is lazy and another part of me is just flat out indecisive at what I want to do rn. Maybe I am just too picky idk.

dad January 5th, 2016 7:38 PM

GA state minimum wage is $5.15, i make $7.25 an hour thanks to the flsa.
i can't imagine making $10 an hour, my check would be gorg

Taemin January 5th, 2016 9:04 PM

Minimum wage here is $7.25, but I'm making about $10, still though, due to the cost of things, that's still leaving me with barely anything after the bills are paid.

Some of our companies have been raising their starting pay to $12.

Skip Class January 6th, 2016 2:43 AM

Minimum wage here is somewhere around $15(?), but currently still looking for a job that's more than the freelance design that I'm doing atm (though currently on break from that for a bit).

Wicked3DS January 6th, 2016 5:08 AM

Our minimum wage is $8.38 (really random number, it was $8.25 so I don't know how much 0.13 makes a difference) and I make 13.25, which is just enough for me to have an apartment with a car payment.

killer-curry January 6th, 2016 5:21 AM

Eventually we know that we are not very poor but not very rich, just an average wealth people.

Sothis January 6th, 2016 10:46 PM

Minimum Wage here is $11. It was $10.25 but they gave it a big hike, it's not really enough to pay for things here though let alone a bigger city like Toronto.

Klippy January 7th, 2016 11:06 AM

I just had a McDonald's McMuffin. Pretty good.

It was raining earlier. Kinda clear now. Hope it rains more.

killer-curry January 8th, 2016 6:36 AM

that misfortune is better than mine XD.

Yesterday, a monkey climbed into our shop 2nd floor and rumbling around. We quickly equipped a few brooms with pot cover and went upstairs. The monkey was gone but the entire 2nd floor was totally mess. The boxes were been scratched, some valuable items were severely damaged and monkey left some ****.

We thought that the monkey would come back again so we closed the windows and locked them up. But as soon as we done all the closing, we saw the monkey came in and the monkey was huge. We were shocked but still.... took some pictures of it. lol
The monkey seemed ignored us even we screamed at it still did not care.

So, we eventually contacted the animal department and two gunmen equipped with tranquilizer gun came into the shop.
They shot twice and the monkey fell down. It took a quite a while for the monkey to faint.

Finally, the monkey was fainted and they took it as fast as possible to the nearest vets.

Pizza Hut puts seasonings and cheese on their crusts now, and I actually really like it ??

Back to the food topic, we go.

Meganium January 9th, 2016 5:41 PM

Came here just in time to brag about how amazing my Pizza Hut pizza is right now. Pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese with a ranch crust. :)

Not sorry for food.
