Pokemon Showdown OU's Help
I need a tiny bit of help on this team.
KingDino (Aerodactyl) @ Aerodactylite Ability: Pressure EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe Naive Nature - Ice Fang - Stone Edge - Earthquake - Aerial Ace KillingRobot (Magnezone) @ Choice Specs Ability: Magnet Pull EVs: 124 HP / 252 SpA / 132 Spe Modest Nature - Thunderbolt - Volt Switch - Hidden Power [Fire] - Flash Cannon Mole (Excadrill) @ Assault Vest Ability: Mold Breaker EVs: 64 HP / 252 Atk / 192 Spe Adamant Nature - Earthquake - Rapid Spin - Rock Slide - Iron Head HAES (Azumarill) @ Choice Band Ability: Huge Power EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 92 Spe Adamant Nature - Aqua Jet - Waterfall - Play Rough - Knock Off SquishyBird (Talonflame) @ Life Orb Ability: Gale Wings EVs: 168 Atk / 252 SpA / 88 Spe Naughty Nature - Fire Blast - Brave Bird - Hidden Power [Ground] - Roost TankChomp (Garchomp) @ Rocky Helmet Ability: Rough Skin EVs: 44 HP / 40 Atk / 84 Def / 92 SpD / 8 Spe - Earthquake - Stealth Rock - Swords Dance - Outrage |
Uh, it is usually bad for a team to only have one water resist, and that resist is a slow water type. I suggest you have your Magnezone choice scarf with 252 speed 252 sp atk, timid. This is to have speed control to check water types faster than your Azumarill.
Your Aeodactyl should be Adamant or Jolly That Talonflame set is bad, I don't see a reason to use special moves on it so try the one below. That Garchomp EV spread looks pretty random I don't know about that one either. I put a bulky and offensive spread below you can use. Also, if you are asking for help with this team it would be nice to justify your choice of pokemon, spreads, etc. It makes it easier for someone else to help. For example, I do not really understand that Excadrill spread. I do not think I am good enough to recommend pokemon changes though. Edited Sets: Spoiler:

See this is why you should write or give some explanation about a set or mon if its something different from the standard set and why you have used it here, otherwise all people are gonna do is suggest the standard ones, because we as raters now have no clue what your teams intention is or what its doing.

Even though Assault Vest seems tempting on Excadrill, it's not worth it because Exadrill's Special Defense is terrible, even though it has high HP. A specially defensive spread is better for it:
-Earthquake -Iron Head -Rapid Spin -Stealth Rock/Toxic Nature: Careful EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 SDef Item: Leftovers Ability: Mold Breaker Mega Aerodactyl should have a Jolly nature, as Naive doesn't do anything for it. Talonflame's Hidden Power Ground still does jack squat against Heatran: 0 SpA Talonflame Hidden Power Ground vs. 248 HP / 192+ SpD Heatran: 100-120 (25.9 - 31.1%) -- 3.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery While it does have a shot of 2HKOing offensive Heatran variants after Stealth Rock, Talonflame shouldn't be staying in on Heatran anyway, as it may go for a Stone Edge or cripple Talonflame with Toxic. Yes, Fire Blast hits Ferrothorn without triggering Iron Barbs, but Flare Blitz is still the better Fire STAB, since it works off of Talonflame's better Attack. Having both STABs come with recoil hurts, yes, but there's always the option to go with itemless Acrobatics; Roost also replenishes HP if Talonflame manages to get a free turn: -Swords Dance -Flare Blitz -Brave Bird/Acrobatics -Roost Nature: Jolly EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe Item: Sharp Beak/Sky Plate/none Ability: Gale Wings or -Swords Dance -Brave Bird/Acrobatics -Taunt/Will-o-Wisp -Roost Nature: Adamant EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spe Item: Leftovers/none Ability: Gale Wings or -Brave Bird/Acrobatics -Taunt/Will-o-Wisp -Bulk Up/Will-o-Wisp -Roost Nature: Careful EVs: 248 HP/252 SDef/8 Spe Item: Leftovers/none Ability: Gale Wings or -Flare Blitz -Brave Bird -U-turn -Steel Wing/Tailwind Nature: Adamant/Jolly EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe Item: Choice Band Ability: Gale Wings This team struggles against bulky Water Pokemon. Replacing Aerodactyl with [email protected] or even Mega Sceptile provides the team with another Water resistance: Latias: -Draco Meteor -Psyshock/Hidden Power (Fire) -Defog -Healing Wish/Roost Nature: Timid EVs: 72 HP/184 SAtk/252 Spe Item: Life Orb Latios: -Draco Meteor -Psyshock -Hidden Power (Fire)/Surf/Earthquake/Defog -Roost/Defog Nature: Timid/Hasty EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe IteM: Life Orb or -Calm Mind -Draco Meteor -Psyshock -Roost Nature: Timid EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe Item: Life Orb/Leftovers or -Draco Meteor -Psyshock -Hidden Power (Fire)/Defog -Trick Nature: Timid EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe Item: Choice Scarf Mega Sceptile: -Leaf Storm -Dragon Pulse -Focus Blast/Hidden Power (Fire) -Earthquake/Protect Nature: Naive/Timid EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe Item: Sceptilite Ability: Overgrow or -Substitute -Giga Drain -Dragon Pulse -Focus Blast Nature: Timid EVs: 252 SAtk/4 SDef/252 Spe Item: Sceptilite Ability: Overgrow To be perfectly blunt here, your TankChomp set is an outright mess. What's the EV spread trying to accomplish here? What KOs does it even avoid? TankChomp should focus on bulk alone and abuse Rocky Helmet + Rough Skin: -Stealth Rock -Dragon Tail -Earthquake/Fire Blast -Toxic/Fire Blast Nature: Impish EVs: 240 HP/176 Def/92 Spe Item: Rocky Helmet Ability: Rough Skin Swords Dance Garchomp should use max Attack/max Speed: -Stealth Rock -Outrage/Dragon Claw -Earthquake -Fire Blast/Swords Dance Nature: Naive/Jolly EVs: 252 Atk/4 SAtk/252 Spe Item: Lum Berry/Focus Sash or -Swords Dance -Dragon Claw/Outrage -Earthquake -Substitute/Stone Edge Nature: Jolly EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe Item: Salac Berry/Leftovers/Lum Berry |
