I'm so very confused...

Hello out there! I'm sorry if I'm doing this wrong or if this isn't the place to ask my questions. I don't know how to play Pokemon, i don't know any of the characters or trainers except for pikachu and his trainer. (Sorry I don't even know his name) anywho..

Here is what I do know about Pokemon. It is my 18 year old nephew with Down syndrome's most favorite thing in the world. It is something that has changed his life and really brought him to life. It has helped him with memorizing, organizing, matching and gives him a way of interacting with people other than his family and his few Down's friends. Therefor I am a huge fan of Pokemon and have great respect for those of you out there who continue to fight the stereotype and just play, trade and see the what Pokemon can really mean to someone.

I am putting a Christmas present together for my nephew. I am looking to BUY (not looking for a handout here) as many JUMBO sized cards maybe "extra" is what they are called, as possible. I don't want doubles of that many and am looking for them in new or nearly new condition. Truthfully he doesn't know how to play the actual game. He just likes to look and organize and "read" over his cards over and over and over again. I'm thinking the JUMBO sized ones will make his whole life.
I have bought some off eBay and all the sellers there have been very fare and kind to me. I am hoping someone here could point me in the direction of a good place to buy a whole lot of them at good prices.

If this is not the place to get that info. I am so very sorry. Please just tell me and I will gladly take this forum posting down.

Thanks for your time.

Looks like, in most cases, you'd have to buy individual jumbos, as, well, the packages they're in usually only ever include one at a time. Being that they're collectibles and that they're packaged the way they are from the factory, you're going to have an extremely difficult time finding ways to buy more than one at a time. And you will also have an extremely difficult time finding any cheaper cheaper than what appears to be the current going rate for the newest ones: $4.99 USD.

I just searched "Jumbo Pokemon cards" on Amazon and it brings up quite a few "Fulfilled by Amazon" listings from toy sellers with Amazon store pages, though each listing is only for a single card at a time, and there are no groups.

There is a Facebook group called virbank city pokemart. If you post there I'm sure people will help you out. With all the black Friday sales there should be plenty floating around.

Oh yeah, this is true. So many boxes with Jumbos available right now. I think I picked up 8 of those "Collection" boxes on Black Friday and almost all of them came with Jumbos.

Speaking of the 'collection' boxes...
I recently got the Flygon EX Box from Amazon - I quite like the jumbo cards, I have 2 so far, Charizard EX and Rayquaza EX, standing pride of place on top of my dresser! Also planning to get the Krookodile EX one at some point :)
And I have the latest box 'Pikachu Legendary EX' and 'Hoopa Legendary EX' in my 'Save for later' lol Those are a bit too expensive to get right now, especially nearing Christmas and all...
