Do you still have your games?

Do you still have your original games? I know I do. I've held onto my first ever game Pokemon Gold, as well as Red, Blue and Yellow. I don't think I will ever part with them. They're just too nostalgic.

What about you guys?

Hiidoran December 20th, 2015 7:00 PM

I did for a long time, but sadly, I think they're gone now.

I held on to all versions red-crystal until I moved out on my own, and I somewhat forgot they were in a drawer at my father's house. I'm pretty sure he's cleaned that room out and sold what I hadn't claimed in garage sales. I feel kind of sad about it, but their batteries were dry and I wasn't about to replace them. I still have the memories, and there are always emulators to relive the fun - well, that and the ports.

Still. Maybe one day I will get a few hard copies and frame them in my office or something.

GiovanniViridian December 21st, 2015 12:11 AM

I wish I can get some original hard copies of it, even if they are used but as long as they work I'm fine with it.

Caite-chan December 21st, 2015 12:33 AM

I wish I still did because I miss them. I know a friend of my has kept all of hers. I would always sell mine when I needed money or the newer versions came out.

Mega_Kris December 21st, 2015 12:37 AM

I have my original silver (best present ever) and blue, and my crystal.

Kaiyu December 23rd, 2015 8:26 AM

I still have my games from both generations. I just umm...don't remember where I put them lol.

WindriderShiva December 23rd, 2015 1:49 PM

I have them as well - Yellow and Gold. I had expected the inner batteries to have gone dry, but last time I booted Gold on my GBC, it actually worked fine~ I'm probably never gonna get rid of them.

Fen-Fen December 23rd, 2015 3:22 PM

I suppose I have copy of one, but they weren't personally played by me when they were new; I received a copy of Pokemon Blue as a gift from a friend a few months ago. I need to get the battery replaced. I used to know a guy who could do it, but he wouldn't do it for me again. Now I need to find someone else who has a soldering iron... My copy of Silver, however, still works. I got that one as an Xmas gift a couple years back.

Drogan December 23rd, 2015 5:32 PM

I have Red, Blue, and Yellow and I WILL NEVER LET THEM GO!

It's always nostalgic to go back and look back at what I did on my save. Also I can finally have Alakazam, Machamp, Golem, and Gengar! I've gone so long without the ability to trade, so now it's amazing. Now if my link cable cooperates more often, I can battle my brother one day!

Now I'm looking forward to the 3DS ports even more.

Also I have Pokemon Crystal and it quickly became my favorite video game of all time! I cherish my copy of the game, mostly because it's my first ever copy of the game!

acatfrommars December 23rd, 2015 9:04 PM

I wish! I had Pokemon Silver but I gave it away to m friend, and I don't even think he plays it anymore.... The only older Pokemon game that I own is Sapphire and I don't really play it much anymore.

Exactly! Even though I don't play them much (if at all) anymore, I still can't let them go. They're just far too nostalgic. I poured hours and hours into those games as a kid. They are a part of my history, haha.

Desert Stream~ December 24th, 2015 6:53 AM

Last wednesday this guy walks into a building with a game boy color. Pokemon Red inside. he said he would give me a broken pokemon yellow next week. Now if only I had a GBC

Judge Mandolore Shepard December 24th, 2015 6:55 AM

Yes, I still have my original copies of Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Silver.

Crizzle December 24th, 2015 9:34 AM

Nope, lost them in the folly of my childhood. Got ROM files though.

Sheep December 25th, 2015 9:40 AM

Yup, still do. 16 years later. I have a box full of my old GBC/GBA games and last I checked they were all working pretty well.. at least the Crystal version was that I played. Hard to get rid of something so sentimental.

Guest123_x1 December 25th, 2015 1:15 PM

I traded in all my Generation I (Blue and Yellow) and II games (all three) nearly ten years ago, when I decided I wanted to get out of Pokémon. Although I do regret this decision at times, given what I've heard about people's games no longer saving (especially with G/S) due to the save battery running out, it probably was for the best.

Although, hopefully, I'll be able to relive the memories of me playing Generation I on an actual handheld (as opposed to PC-based emulators) come February when R/B/Y are re-released to Virtual Console. Hopefully, at some point after that, G/S/C will see a similar re-release as well.

magicalgirlj December 25th, 2015 1:20 PM

I sold my Red, Blue, and Yellow games to Game Stop in middle school. I have a copy of Silver somewhere though the internal battery is dead

Ammako December 26th, 2015 5:48 PM

Yeah, I do. In fact I bought a Japanese copy of Silver just a bit over two months ago.

Limey-chan December 28th, 2015 3:23 PM

I have my Blue, Yellow and Silver. Unfortunately, the internal battery on my Silver has died so i've lost my original save.

I even have my original Game Boy Colour to play them on.

~RNC~ December 29th, 2015 7:09 PM

I still have all of mine, I also still have the original pikachu gameboy color as well, I get them out every now and then and make sure they all still work.

Kikaito plush December 31st, 2015 7:27 AM

I still have my pokemon yellow and silver but my silver battery dead ages ago.

mjb8910 December 31st, 2015 12:23 PM

I have my originals of RBY and GSC but sadly the batteries have died and my GSC games don't work. My RBY games work and I still use them. I also still have my copies of Pokémon Stadium and Stadium 2 for the N64 as well. Lots of hours wasted but so much fun!

Same! Me and my flatmates dug them out a while back and had a mini tournament between ourselves, it was a good laugh.

I didn't realise until that night just how OP Pokemon like Tauros actually were in Gen I, dear God..

noa January 1st, 2016 10:29 PM

Status of my old games:

Red: Dead. Shoved somewhere in a box back home in California.
Blue: Dead. Absolutely no clue where it is.
Yellow: Dead. (Really sad about this) Have the cartridge here with me in Seattle.
Silver: Alive, but it can't save games anymore.
Crystal: Alive and still working! :)

My gameboy color no longer has sound though, so I just play it on an emulator. I love modern technology!

Sun January 3rd, 2016 11:37 PM

I'm really sad to say that my Color and Metal games are no longer here. Still, I'm really glad to have them part of life! I believe I wouldn't be here if I wasn't addicted to Pokemon in the first place! Hahaha!

Imperator161 January 6th, 2016 7:27 PM

I have all of the gen I and gen II games, but only Red and Yellow save (and I haven't checked those in a few months, so who knows how they're doing). I bought replacement batteries about 5 years ago, but I never got around to installing them, so if I wanted to do so, I'd probably want to buy more tabbed batteries, which were a pain to order the first time. At this point, if I want to play those games on an actual system again, I'll have to go with the VC releases of RBY (and hope that GSC are finally released again as well).

Blue is a lost cause. I've taken out the battery, tried to replace it, etc., but all it does is lock up on Oak's image on the new game screen before loading text and make Gastly cries and other weird noises. I have a feeling something is permanently wrong there, but I don't know what the problem is, or if there's anything I can do to fix it.

Even though some of the old games don't work, I have no intention of getting rid of them. I do wonder if I should replace (or at least take out) the batteries before they corrode/leak, though.

SqishyRina January 7th, 2016 10:04 AM

My first game was Pokemon Gold, and I still have it today. I haven't really played it much though, especially after the internal battery died, wiping my save data and rendering me incapable of creating a new file. I replaced the battery, but it's just not worth playing anymore, especially since my SoulSilver now fills that void.

Also, fun side-point: I actually owned the bootleg Pokemon Jade, and Vietnamese Pokemon Crystal as a kid. I still have those too!

Sirenita55 January 7th, 2016 11:47 AM

When my 2nd DS broke, I gave my brother all my previous Pokemon games. However, I have held on to my dear Red after all this time. It still works to this day :)

Raburesu January 7th, 2016 7:37 PM

My mom sold my games along with my GameBoy as I got older because she had no aptitude for budgeting, bless her ignorant soul...

As I entered middle school, she made it up to me with a GBA SP.

Years later, my little cousin gave me his Crystal Version for free out of no where when he was over one day. I've treasured it ever since!

I re-bought Red from a small local game store a while back for a decent price, though it doesn't seem to be capable of producing colours anymore...

With the announcement of the virtual console release, I don't see myself picking up any more of the old carts. I am interested in the boxes, being a light collector, though tracking them down in the condition I'd prefer is something I'm too lazy to do. :) Maybe one day!

athenian200 January 8th, 2016 12:28 PM

At one point, I had Red, Blue, and Yellow. I lost Blue along with a white Game Boy Advance several years ago. It was in the cartridge slot when I lost it.

I still have Red, but the board inside the game cartridge has come loose and it tends to lose my saved games very easily. It was the first Pokémon game I got, and I abused it by taking it in and out of the Game Boy Pocket while carrying it in a game case around my neck. For a while, it only worked on the Game Boy Player and Super Game Boy due to a real Game Boy jostling it too much. I was able to make it work again by cutting out the bottom part of the cartridge and exposing the bare connectors. Now my game works as long as I leave it in a Game Boy and don't take it out too often.

Pokémon Yellow still works perfectly, which is logical because it was the last game I got. Gold, Silver, and Crystal also all work. I haven't played them in three years, but they're all stored nicely. The only thing that could have happened since then is a battery dying, but I know how to replace them now anyway.

To be honest, I'm so afraid of wearing those games out that I tend to play Fire Red and SoulSilver instead, unless I'm feeling extremely nostalgic.

txteclipse January 18th, 2016 1:05 PM

I still have Crystal. I replaced the battery a few years ago with my shoddy soldering skills. It works, but I doubt I'd be able to replace the battery a second time. Sad. :(

DarkMeow159 January 18th, 2016 2:59 PM

My father found a GameBoy in his closet, and decided to give it to me about 3 years ago. I then went and bought Pokémon Yellow and I've had it ever since. Unfortunately, my GameBoy seems to have stopped working, but I'm not gonna get rid of my games any time soon. I'm planning on repairing it anyways. Also, many people have had their save battery in their game die, but mine is still going strong. I suspect the previous owner replaced the battery in my cartridge.

Sylphiel January 18th, 2016 3:32 PM

I still have my original Blue, Gold, and Silver. Pretty sure I lost my copy of Yellow (or left it behind, which is the more likely outcome), but it doesn't really matter much anyway because there's still two copies of that game here ah ha.

My Blue still works, at least. The Gold and Silver....well. They "work", in that I can physically play them. That's all I can really say, though.

(And of course, my Gold is the one game among the bunch that I wish still worked all the way, argh.)

TheBaconToastie January 18th, 2016 3:41 PM

Still got them, Crystal being my prized possession.

I actually traded it to my older cousin for some random junk and then stole it back years later.

Licheus January 21st, 2016 4:42 PM

I thought I had them but now that I looked I couldn't find them. They looked really nice too, especially the Gen II ones with the powerhouses of Lugia and Ho-Oh on them and stuff. Where are they? This is unacceptable!

RivalGator January 24th, 2016 4:54 PM

I still have three copies of each game.

Bounsweet January 27th, 2016 11:34 AM

I lost my Yellow version a long time ago (sadly, it was my very first Pokémon game) but I've since rebought all of the games to have a complete collection. I'm only missing Yellow and Gold right now, but I have all Gen I-III games. Still working on the newer ones haha.

Nothing Is Real January 27th, 2016 11:55 AM

I have Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal. I've replaced the internal batteries of GSC, so I'm golden for another 10 years :D

You lucky chicken! I think I'm going to get into the habit of buying as many old Pokémon games I can find. Whether it be online or at markets or second-hand games stores.

I think before a GSC re-release on the Virtual Console, I'd like to see a DPPt remake. That way Kanto isn't re-introduced for the umpteenth time; breaking it up a bit with a Fourth Generation remake would still maintain interest in the re-release of GSC, potentially avoiding people losing such interest because they already explored Kanto just recently.

Itcheeee January 29th, 2016 6:30 AM

I missed out on the games (except the N64 titles), but I only recently got Red, two Blues and two Yellows with one being mint and never used. o.o Though I have not started them, I'm debating on weather or not to do so with the 3DS versions coming out which I will be playing for sure. >_<

pkmin3033 January 30th, 2016 1:38 AM

My copy of Yellow is upstairs in my bedroom somewhere, as is my copy of Pinball, and I have a copy of Blue as well. My original Red, though? Lord only knows where that is; I've not seen it in over a decade. I think I lost it when we moved house...

Electricbluewolf January 30th, 2016 1:57 AM

I still own my copies I got when I was younger-Blue, Yellow, Silver and Gold. We bought Red and Crystal on the way, it's nice little collection. Even though none are mint-the labels have wear where they've been taken out and put in the GB so many times I wouldn't get rid of them as they were part of my childhood

mikey January 30th, 2016 7:27 AM

I have Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal. My Blue and Yellow actually still work quite well, but all three of my Johto games do not save anymore. I have Red, but I have no idea where it is. Which is sad because that was my first.

SaniOKh January 30th, 2016 5:05 PM

I had all of them, I still do, and I have no intention of selling them.
I changed the batteries two years ago, so... I think the save feature still works :) .

Wicked3DS January 30th, 2016 5:18 PM

I unfortunately have lost all of my Gen I and II games a long time ago :(

Otamajakushi January 30th, 2016 11:45 PM

I do still have all of my original games. I also have backed up my save data for them as well. One of these days, Im going to replace all the batteries and put the sram data back on the carts.

GalufKitten January 31st, 2016 5:54 AM

I have red, somewhere. i have a broken blue, somewhere

and i have a Yellow which battery still works :)

DePyro January 31st, 2016 10:17 AM

I don't only have the old games (not my original ones mind you) but I actually run a business buying games that no longer save replacing the battery and then selling them once they save again. I save the perfect condition label ones for my personal collection. So far the only games I need in the GBC series are Crystal and Blue. I have all the others and replaced all their batteries, have 3 link cables and 2 GBA SP's. I play with myself :)

major glory January 31st, 2016 10:38 AM

Hell yeah I do! Still have Pokemon Yellow Version, and my brother still has Red Version (he scratched off the sticker when he was a small child when we first got them...). We still have the Gameboy Colors we first played them on as well. Great memories :)

DigitalMewtwo January 31st, 2016 9:34 PM

Still do. Red, Blue and Yellow. Silver and Crystal.

Sadly Silver and Crystal no longer work. :(

Here's to hoping that Game Freak brings Gold, Silver and Crystal out to the eshop someday :).

curiousnathan January 31st, 2016 11:44 PM

All these dying games... so tragic. </3

Dunsparce February 1st, 2016 5:24 AM

I still have my Blue, Yellow, Silver, and Crystal. Also have Stadium and Stadium 2,and a Pokemon Pikachu 2, for the maximum experience. alongside having 2 GBCs, a Game Link Cable, a Gameboy Printer with Paper to spare, and a place that will replace dead batteries for me(And a Mega Memory Card accessory to reload old save files back onto my cartridges), I can pretend it's 1998-2001 for years to come.

And on a positive note, that isn't likely to happen in the 3DS re-releases.

Smiffy01 February 27th, 2016 6:05 AM

I still have RBY in cartridge form :P

Arylett Charnoa February 27th, 2016 5:38 PM

I've never owned R/B/Y. So I don't have them. But I still have my copies of Gold and Silver, which are both dead. It's my hope they'll rerelease these on virtual console.

Katchelina February 28th, 2016 9:17 PM

I actually never Owned the games. I borrowed my cousin's Blue and later Red versions since they didnt care about those files being erased(they mainly played silver at that point).
I dont have any of my old games actually :(

Wizardling February 29th, 2016 8:50 AM

Still got my copy of Yellow! But I doubt I'll ever touch again, now R/B/Y are on 3DS with WiFi trading and Pokemon Bank support.

ggctuk February 29th, 2016 9:07 AM

As Yellow was the second video game I owned (the first being Le Mans 24 hours for GBC) but having the distinction of being the first game I actually played on my first console, yes, I have indeed still got my original copy of Yellow. Unfortunatley I no longer have Blue, Crystal, Gold or Silver and I know Crystal died some time ago anyway.

I still have Blue and Yellow

Blue (luckily) still has my original save file that I competed in the Pokémon tour back in 2000. Got through a few rounds before I came up against a tricky Zapdos. I've tried to attach an image of the badges that were given out after each win. Battles took place on Stadium, three Pokémon each and Mew and Mewtwo were not allowed.

Not forgetting I still have the official Mew from that event.

Recently downloaded Blue for a nostalgia trip and to see if I've still got it...

Palmer-Granate March 25th, 2016 9:49 AM

Lost my hard copies during an eviction or had them stolen from me, the oldest game I have is White.

Qinshi April 16th, 2016 12:24 AM

Well, in my parents house, their still has to be a pokémon red version somewhere.
I secured it , and put it away in a box.
But i have no idea where that box is now :(

Last time i saw my red cartridge was 8 years ago.

RegalSin April 17th, 2016 6:13 PM

The batteries have to be replaced

waveguidebuizel April 17th, 2016 7:08 PM

I would if our house wasn't destroyed in a fire a few years back.

Morkula April 19th, 2016 11:10 AM

I still have all my Pokemon games, but my Yellow and Gold died several years ago. I still have the cartridges in my collection, just can't play them.

A couple of my other games have dead batteries that need to be replaced, but that should be easy enough to fix.

Astinus April 19th, 2016 12:43 PM

I still have some of my cartridges. The English versions that I have (two Blues) are working fine, and I even have a current file on one. My English Yellow was good, but I gave that one to a friend. My Japanese Yellow, though, has run out of battery. I have to get it replaced because I really wanted to play a game in Japanese (to practice the language).

starseed galaxy auticorn April 20th, 2016 6:42 AM

I still have Pokemon Yellow, which was my first pokemon game ever played. It doesn't work anymore, but I still kept it for memory reasons. I also have Pokemon Blue somewhere as well as my GBA SP. ^^

I am the same as you, just for Gold, I have Silver instead!

Swithdas July 4th, 2016 4:31 PM

I still have Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Crystal in my bedside table! :P

Maserati777 July 5th, 2016 3:03 PM

I bought Yellow first, I got the Pokémon Yellow Color Gameboy and the game. I held onto the game for many years and finally traded over a Kadabra and Seel from my Crystal so I could beat the Elite 4 and finally caught Mewtwo in 2012. Shortly after I caught Mewtwo the game stopped working.

I also bought Blue and Red used for trading, but both got corrupted shortly after. Somehow while trading my Wartortle from Blue over the game froze and Wartortle went to the big screen in the sky.

Diarkia124 July 5th, 2016 3:33 PM

I still have my Red and Blue games and I refuse to sell/give away both of them. I did have Yellow a long time ago but I lost it :/

0 July 5th, 2016 9:34 PM

Rby cgs Fr LG eme Sapp gone. Bro has ruby. I have 2 reds.
diamond, pearl somewhere, soul silver. Bro has heart gold, and idc about the rest.
I even have an original instruction booklet for red and blue :)

Dracowyn July 5th, 2016 10:59 PM

Yes, I still have all my games.

Red, Blue and Yellow still work. Sadly Gold and Crystal died. I guess their battery gets depleted faster because of the day/night cycle and the ingame clock.

Ruby Sapphire and Emeralds batteries died too but luckily that only means ingame time based events no longer occur. I did like to grow tons of berries though so sadly that's no longer possible in those games.

KillerMapper July 6th, 2016 2:14 AM

I still have my Red version my uncle got me from USA in 1998, while the game was only out in France in 1999. It still works, although my brother erased my save with full legit completed Pokédex (except Mew which I used the glitch).

I also have a Yellow version which was my brother game, dunno if it still works.

I recently found at my parent's home some Japanese version of Yellow and Silver, I don't know why those games were there lol. Silver works but the battery is dead so no save, Yellow still has its save (pretty regular team: Pikachu, the 3 starters, Mewtwo and Aerodactyl), I'm not sure I can trade them in an US version.

Then I have the physical version of Pokémon TPP version, a romhack of Red made for the first anniversary run of Twitch Plays Pokémon. It adds a higher level curve (Brock is almost Lv20, rival at the E4 is Lv100), all Pokémon available to catch (you must complete the dex to finish the game), Gyms + E4 rematches (all Lv100) and a battle tent for money.
The Crystal hack is coming soon, I'll buy it too. It adds more stuff than the red hack, like gen 6 moves / type chart, new items, new story, new sidequests, all 251 catch etc.

Mirrativ July 7th, 2016 10:33 PM

Still have my 3 original GB games CIB.

machomuu July 8th, 2016 4:34 PM

Red, Blue, and two copies of Yellow. All with restarted-ish saves, none from when I was a kid, I don't believe. Save for maybe Blue version. I'm kind of interested to to go and take a look now...

Rob1754 July 9th, 2016 9:41 PM

I still have my Yellow. I must of been 6 when I got it and I'm 18 now so It had been out for a while when I got it but It was still very enjoyable. It's also seems to be the only Pokemon game I still have so I think I'll keep it. Selling it isn't really an option anyways since my name being written across the label in sharpie destroys any value, haha.

Squirrel July 15th, 2016 6:36 PM

I don't have them but I really wish I did! I have some totally 100% legal and not at all illegally downloaded versions of the old games which I play pretty often on my phone when I'm bored of lectures but having the real copies would be a real slice of nostalgia.

Lapis July 15th, 2016 11:01 PM

Nope. I lost them a long time ago due to me moving around so much. I am actively looking for the actual cartridges for the games in pawn shops. Hopefully I'll find some someday. ^^

Lamebot July 15th, 2016 11:02 PM

When I was young and stupid I tossed my Red, Yellow, and Crystal when my Game Boy Color stopped working and I decided to quit Pokemon the first time. I am coming back to it though. Some eighteen years later I got two Gameboy Colors on their way to me. I'm paying out the rear end for stuff on ebay.

Flower July 17th, 2016 2:58 AM

Unfortunately I don't, money was running short so I sold them. s'; Regret doing so but I need clothes and food, lol. I'm looking to get them back though sometime, since I know one of the pawn shops in the city an hour from me has at least Yellow. >o>

Khrysamere July 17th, 2016 5:15 AM

It's not like it matters, I think the Internal batters in Game Boy games last 7 years (I think) so you would have had to replace it atleast twice and once more in a year.

My Pokemon Crystal and Silver games don't hold a save anymore, it's quite a shame. I haven't tested my Pokemon Sapphire in a couple of years, but it's battery most likely has failed by now.

TRGrunt July 19th, 2016 5:58 AM

Yeah I still have mine, even though i think the battery is dead in my Red and Blue.

CoffeeDrink July 26th, 2016 10:18 PM

I unfortunately sold my red/blue/yellow at one point in the mid 00's. Fortunately I found my unopened copy of blue in mint condition. Combo packed with the official strategy guide. Tight.

Banz August 18th, 2016 8:36 PM

I have a Yellow cartridge what I only got a couple of years ago (someone was selling a GBA with Yellow and GSC for very cheap). I'm playing it right now. Any idea how long the internal cartridge is supposed to last?

I owned a Red cartridge when I was younger, but sadly I lost it when I was moving. :(

I still have Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal but G/S/C lost data due to the battery issue. Surprisingly Red and Yellow still hold data.

Why don't you guys fix your saves! It's not that hard! Why leave your R/B/Y/G/S/C in the back of your closet when you can put new batteries! All you need is some electric tape and a new battery at home depot for like five bucks! ;/

Yeah I could change the batteries in my games, but that won't bring back my 200+ pokemon from Crystal :-( the damage has been done, I'll just live in hope they release G/S/C for 3DS and start again one day.

I held on to all my Pokemon games over the years. I have my copies of every cartridge game from gen 1 to gen 3. I retired the official cartridges to my collection and purchased an Everdrive GB for early gen gaming. The Everdrive can run Pokemon roms up to and including gen 2 and even link trade between official games. I definitely recommend checking it out if you love playing these games on the original GB/GB colour. :)

I lost my original Blue game over 10 years ago 8( I cried for so long when I realized it was gone.

Piccolo990 August 27th, 2016 7:48 AM

Yes, from Gen 1-6. I still have all of my Games and they were still working the last time I checked.

clefairydesuyo August 27th, 2016 3:26 PM

I still have my original carts for Blue and Yellow! Whether they still work is another story...

Log August 27th, 2016 11:40 PM

I've long since lost my copy of Blue. Have no idea where it could be sitting around right now, if it even is still under this roof.

thedestinedblade August 28th, 2016 1:21 PM

Still have my Red version and the original Game Boy at the very least. Takes a few tries before starting up, but I say that's not so bad given the condition of the game.

Altairis August 30th, 2016 1:35 PM

I have my Yellow version, but it keeps freezing on me every time I touch it. So it's not that usable, and I never got past Brock without it freezing and me having to start over :x

My Blue cartridge is sadly lost. It's probably somewhere in my basement or something but I gave up looking for it long ago. I still have Yellow, but it never gets past the title screen without the graphics glitching up, so that's a lost cause as well :(

Dissidence September 2nd, 2016 3:26 AM

Still have red. And a game genie to get the ones from blue and the trade evolutions, since I only have one game boy.

Brendino September 23rd, 2016 2:35 PM

Never actually had any copies of the 1st gen games myself, but I'm pretty sure that the copy of Yellow that I borrowed from my cousin is still kicking around somewhere at his place. I know that he has his Pokemon Red stolen years ago, though.

I wouldn't actually mind picking up a copy of one of the games, just to say that I have one, even though it might be hard to come by.

I had Pokémon Yellow <3 Still have it, but the game cartridge (or my GBA, not sure) is glitching, so that if I touch it when playing, the game resets. So uh, it's incredibly risky to play it. So many hours spent in pixly Kanto though... All dat grinding and getting lost in Silph building. There is absolutely no reason for me to throw the game away haha.
