Yes, I'm in the united states. When the initial pokemon boosters first came out, they cost 1.99, but during summer months ( when the kids were out of school ), and holidays ( christmas ), they would shoot up to 3.99, sometimes 4.99 at toys r' us. The only time you could get them less for 2 - 3 bucks was at specialty shops. Hell I remember them going as high as 4.99, and me being annoyed.
