The only other forum I'm active in besides PC is Smashboards. On occasion I'll log onto the PSO-World forums too. I was also used to go to a couple of other forums but they kinda died/I lost all interest in them a while ago.

If this thread were around in 2012, I'd have fifteen answers to this question. But, times change. I used to go on a forum called Slateport City, whenever I wasn't here, I was always there. Unfortunately, that forum closed in November of 2015, and isn't opening back up. That forum used to be Ever Grande City, which Slateport had succeeded. I used to go to over ten forums at a time, but most died. I do go to two other forums besides this one, but not as much anymore, those forums would be Petalburg Woods Network and Pokemon Crossroads. Both forums don't have enough activity, though, so I just lurk every day. I also visit Pokemon International Forums & Serebiiforums once in awhile to check up on some of my very old friends who aren't on PC. I also occasionally go on The Bell Tree because a friend of mine posts her art there, but other than that, this is the only forum I'm active on. I still visit others, though, as you can see. |
The only other noteworthy forum I peek around besides PC these days is Serebii, but I'm not as much a "celebrity" over there compared to PC.
|
I used to go to SomethingAwful all the time, but that stopped in recent times. I think because the content seemed the same after a while and there wasn't much new to read.
I might check SPPf if I'm really bored and want some forum to read things on, compared to other non-forum websites. And periodically I post on the forums for Global Pokedex Plus, especially if I'm really actively playing. |
Only other forum I check more than twice a month at present is SkyscraperCity, since a subset of its forums are a good resource for keeping tabs with development in my area.
|
I used to join sooooo many Pokemon forums back in the day because I thought forums and meeting people in general was pretty cool. I wouldn't be surprised to find I've joined around 50 so of the years. First ones ended up having accounts on SPPf and Pokemon Elite 2000 (I can't remember the name of that one, but I know it's shut down).
The two biggest ones - I used to admin Pokemon Mysidia and moderate PokeStation (which is PokeCheats now) back in the day, which around that time my activity at PC kinda fell. SuperSkarmory forums both pre and after the merge with PokeStation and Victory Road forums which I also stayed a little bit on due to friends from PokeStation being there at one point. Few friends of mine from PokeStation ended up making an anime forum called PlanetOtaku Forums after I left PokeStation and I ended up moderating there for a bit. Pokemon Solstice was another one I spent a bit of time on after it's merge with PokeLight forums (which I had originally been a part of) and 2 other forums. And apparently (just found out) Solstice became Evergrande City which became Slateport City forums I only lurked but don't think I joined. Not gonna even mention the amount of smaller forums I joined back in the day, but there were lots of them. Now I just hang on PC because I have more of a life now than when I was younger xD |
I check Smogon frequently for obvious reasons. :P They have a lot of resources for competitive Pokemon, and it's fun to watch their tournaments sometimes. At the moment they're running this big team tournament called Smogon Premier League, in which various teams play different formats including all past generations. PC League was inspired by it.
|
I've joined a good number of forums, but PC is the only one I'm still active in. I just clicked here for some reason, and I haven't been able to find somewhere else that I can continuously be active on like here.
|
Whenever I feel the urge, I like to go on this Ace Attorney forum called Court-Records. Not much is going on now, but it's a nice forum.
|
I use Smogon. I am an important Battle Server Moderator and esteemed RU and Ubers player there and I love the community. I also go by Aurora there.

Used to use Serebii's forum a long time ago. Was never consistently active though.
|
The only one I come anywhere close to frequenting besides PC is GameFAQs. I used to be a regular on KH13 for a bit, but that was quite a while ago and I don't even remember my username there. There's also Cobalt Lake, which a few friends started not too long ago, but it hasn't quite gotten off the ground yet, so right now it's mostly just a hangout place for our circle of friends :)
|
Oh good memories. ;w; aa
I used to be active on EGC/Slateport City. That was my second home for some years but it closed a while back now and even its successor Slateport just wasn't the same. Used to be active on Bulbagarden forums and Marilland to an extent. My habit of joining Pokémon forums died a while ago.. most of them just aren't active enough to make me want to check back consistently and of course nothing compares to PC. Even every other big Pokémon community has something that bugs me and makes me not want to stick around for very long. Be it low-quality themes, a less-than-stellar community, and so on. |
I was active on a forum with foreign language. But that forum is a history now, it went down like around 5-6 years ago, iirc? I also joined the Slateport Forums and yeah it is closed as well...
|
I used to join Ever Grande City/Slateport forums back in the day, and I was surprised how friendly the forum was that time, it's just like the second forum home to me, but it's sad that it's ended up being closed...
At the present, I'm visiting Lake Valor and 3DS Pedia as well. |

It is a positively massive site and community. Oh, I forgot to mention that I do still occasionally visit Simtropolis.com (Sim City fansite). Mostly to download game content for Sim City 4, though. And I do sometimes also check PokeBeach and PokeGym, though not nearly as often as I used to. |
I am active in a gardening and botany forum and in a fishkeeping forum. Nice little communities. Very different from what most of you have posted, haha.
You guys are my favorite by a mile, though. My internet home. |

I signed up to Relic Castle recently :) I'm not terribly active there, but I browse a lot.
|
PC is the only forum for me. <3
|
On Serebii and Pokebeach. Pokebeach has a great TCG life, and Serebii was the first one I joined as my brother was on there.
Other than that I'e joined loads of little forums that I've forgotten I've had membership with. |
Only other forum I am a member of is YTalk which I only joined to get some views on my channel.
|
|
place called rateyourmusic; I'm sure some of you have heard of it. I lurk more than anything on the actual boards and use the other social features way more, but my activity here and there is probably comparable. I love it there.
|
PC is my home and I check in on it more than any other place on the internet.
Other than that... Forums wise, I've registered for several other sites... but as of late I only visit two other forums daily aside from PC: Serenes Forest and SmashBoards. |
There are three others that come to my mind:
- Smogon for all my need of competitive resources - Smashlabs which is a small German Smash community (though I mostly just lurk there) - RPG-Atelier, another German site that focuses on RPG-Maker games but has that slight problem of the community being mostly split between people who want to create good games and take critique seriously, people who think they make good games and who become crybabies when someone gives critique they don't like and people who just want to throw out a game not caring about critique at all. Though, I left that community about a year ago, because of how toxic it became, especially after most of the people I hung out with left. |

I used to be on a lot of forum when I was younger. Mostly RPG's or for Japanese Music or for "graphic desing classes" for programs like Photofiltre and Corel Paint Shop Pro.
I took a looooong Forum break. The I went on a Betta (the fishes) forum where we could talk/help each other with our fishtank. Then I came here! I tried some other forum but they were not active as this one. Long life to PC!! |
I don't really do forums. PC is... A hub. A place for me to meet like minded people that I can't/won't/don't meet offline, and I get to practice my English and writing skills and stuff. It works well.

That said, I do frequent Smogon but it is mostly to lurk haha. |

No, not really.
I'm registered on Lake Valor and like it there but I'm not as active as I'd like to be. Tried Bulbagarden before- wasn't for me. I'm too attached to PC to actively use another forum, I think. |

Yes! PC has everything one needs tbh 8) I know that other forums have tons of sections too but it just seems like there is nothing that PC doesn't have. maybe a cooking forum? |

Hmm, how does one become said celebrity?
This is the only site that I'm semi-active on. When I find a site that I like it's normally the only forum I get on besides like Facebook & Instagram. I had been on a few Nintendo sites beforehand as a writer and once as an Events/Social Media coordinator but most of them have died down unfortunately. Antemortem/Dave/Sokpuppet told me about this one when he was a mod on a site we both used to get on so I decided to register on here and have been happy since. Honestly though, I like posting on here the most out of any site because it's just so much more of a relaxed environment than some of the other sites I've been on. I honestly think that's how it should be and like the way staff does it here. |

I visit serebii, smogon and serenesforest since I really playing Fire Emblem Awakening
|
I don't do forums. They seem unattached and is really not my cup of tea.

My forum "home" used to be a Sonic Adventure-themed website called Chao Island. The community fell apart big time in terms of quality, though, and boards have been [mostly] dead for a good while now; the only users who come by to check up on it these days are the veterans who've been there for years, so mostly everyone knows each other. The place had a ton of downsides, but the RP section in particular was how I met most of my friends. The site's main admin means well, but keeps making unwanted changes to the forum interface that don't mesh well with the older members. I also still visit SonicBlast and Sonic Retro once in a while, but =SB= is most definitely dead now.
I had a brief stay with The Kirby Club forums, but they recently shut down since the admins couldn't afford to keep paying for the site; the whole TKC community has moved over to MetaNaito.net instead. I've signed up with tons of Pokemon forums way back when, but haven't stayed active on many of them; Psypokes, PokeBoard, Serebii, GPX+, and possibly some others. I joined PC while I was still with Chao Island, but didn't stay for long. I joined Lake Valor after CI kicked the bucket, but I don't really feel at home there. So for now, PC has become my main board without any others to drop by in the meantime. |
These days, not many others.
I half-frequent a football forum, but it's mostly just to catch up on stuff that's been happening whilst i've been at work; I very rarely post. I used to moderate a now-defunct football forum, that was fun back in the day. I've signed up to countless others, ranging from gaming to music, but I don't think i've ever stuck around for as long as I have here. |
Not anymore. I just get on Twitter or Tumblr when PC is down.
|
I visit PC and none other. I don't count incidental usages in my statistics though, or brief spurts of non-dedicated activity.
Now; if reddit counts; then that could be something. But I don't think it does. Incidentally I have visited Serebii, Smogon, Bulbagarden, EGC and CL for brief periods in the past. But these visits have never superseded my PC activity or dedication. None of them were acceptable places for me. It never felt quite like home. So I never stayed. All in all PC is my home. It will always be. <3 |
I frequent a Yu-gi-oh forum called Duel Academy.
I've been a member there far longer than here. I've been visiting it less often, but that's due to a change in the YGO meta causing me to dislike the game rather than it being dead or toxic |
Well i go to Neo MeleeUniverse Discussions. The original one died June 2015, and my good friend reopened it four days ago.
|
I used to be on EGC fairly frequently, as well as Slateport. Since they closed, though, I've kind of stopped going on forums as much :/ I miss it.
|
I go on one called Lake Valor and one called GFX Resource, and that's it. I don't really spend much time on those as here though.
|
At the moment, it's just PC and Lake Valor. I used to visit EGC/Slateport like some others did, but yeah, they've closed.
