Wow, Australia is really far ahead...I forget sometimes; I'm so used to being ahead of pretty much everyone I come into contact with online, since most of them are in the Americas. xD

At least you now know there are others who are in future before you.

but in all seriousness, timezones are confusing. they're all over the place and things like daylight savings don't help.

but i sort of get daylight savings. i can't wait for it to end. right now, i'll wake up at 5:30 and it'll be pitch black, whereas a month ago it would be dawn. annoying.

Hikamaru March 7th, 2016 12:25 AM

I still have daylight savings going on in my state (NSW represent baby!) and that ends early next month.

nsw here too c: i think it ends on the first sunday of april. my diary says 3 am. that's kinda specific, but i guess they have to pick a time.

in all honesty, i don't really understand how it works. now that my phone sets the time itself, i don't really have to do anything anymore, so i don't remember the technical bits.

pkmin3033 March 7th, 2016 12:29 AM

I don't know if I should laugh or just shake my head in dismay at that...I actually rolled my eyes and chuckled a bit, so both/neither I guess?

I knew there were people ahead of me, obviously, I've just never really spoken to anyone who is...probably because they can't use the "but I'm asleep when you're awake" thing as a reason for avoiding me, haha.

It is kinda weird how traditional clocks still exist when our computers and smartphones are able to tell the time.

tonbo March 7th, 2016 12:33 AM

same thing with watches imo. i think they have lost all purpose, apart from making you look rich/classy, which they generally do fairly well. i have a friend that's obsessed with them, and he can barely read a clock. it's pretty funny.

Hikamaru March 7th, 2016 12:37 AM

I still love my traditional watch. DKNY branded with little diamonds, and they're all still intact.

Logan March 7th, 2016 1:36 AM

Haven't worn for a watch for a while, even as an accessory I find it just gets in the way.

pkmin3033 March 7th, 2016 2:02 AM

I wear a watch out of habit; I got a nice Citizen Eco-Drive one for my 21st birthday so it's more of an accessory than it is something I'm constantly checking. It's helpful to have a timepiece when I'm out and about anyway, I have a crap phone and I hate using it. xD

Christos March 7th, 2016 2:56 AM

I love my Casio watch, you can wear it anywhere and it's more convenient to look at the time from your wrist rather than having to take your phone out of your pocket. To me it's also useful while swimming or at the gym when I don't have a phone with me. It's also cheap and it looks cool.

I am considering buying a similar watch for those reasons. I fell into the trap of buying quite an expensive analogue watch with some man's name on it, but more often I need a wristwatch to survive the elements. I quite like the idea of those old school digital Casios.

Alex March 7th, 2016 4:30 AM

I kinda want to buy a watch, but I haven't thought too much about it. The worst feeling is taking out my phone to check the time, checking something else instead, putting my phone away and not remembering the time. It happens way too often.

Hikamaru March 7th, 2016 4:35 AM

Well, I am sometimes not always near a clock so it's handy to have a watch.

Neil Peart March 7th, 2016 4:35 AM

So, yeah, House of Cards.

Alex March 7th, 2016 4:43 AM

My mom just finished HoC s4 in like a day. I definitely need to get started, I've been looking forward to it for a year!

I LOVE JESSICA JONES. I finished season 1 a while ago and can't wait for season 2 :D

Tsutarja March 7th, 2016 8:03 AM

Sometimes I wish I had time to binge-watch TV shows but I'm always so busy with stuff :(

Sirfetch’d March 7th, 2016 8:07 AM

I binge watch shows on the weekends if I am free :) I am looking forward to binge watching season 4 of OitNB if June ever hurries up and gets here. :(

moon March 7th, 2016 9:48 AM

I can't binge watch shows these days because if I get that much free time I'll feel too guilty that I'm not posting in roleplays haha...

i'm in chains help

Gabri March 7th, 2016 10:08 AM

I don't watch any of these stuff-things.
Except for Game of Thrones, and even that was one I didn't follow closely for a while.

Lumina March 7th, 2016 10:18 AM

I haven't watched TV in like a year.
