Fading sprite away. Is it possible?
Is it possible to make sprite fade away in a script? Sure, I could use "hidesprite", but it's kinda instant.

You should take a look at applymovement 0x69 which is used for the fading effect of rock smash/cut trees.
Alternatively, If you have a free overworld sprite space, you could make a sprite look like it's fading away by making it face right/up/down with each frame being a different stage in the fading process. The fading sprite will be a different sprite but the player won't be able to tell. |
