Sadly this is one of the best speeds you can get in Australia if you don't live in an NBN area(10MB/s).

killer-curry February 20th, 2016 4:10 PM

Lol I'm the only one who have 2mbps here lol. And I pay 140 ringgit for that speed.

That's actually inexpensive for internet service. Many of us pay anywhere from $50/month (~211 Malaysian ringgit) to $100/month (~421 Malaysian ringgit) to get the speeds we have.

I think mine's quite decent nowadays, I'm satisfied with download speed of 10 Mbps for now.

Spoiler:
Just kidding, I can't give my result because Speedtest shows only 1 mbps now. My actual speed was around 30 mbps last time I checked, but it was 42 mbps few months ago, so it got a lot slower. I doubt it's 1 mbps now, I still can watch streams in high quality.

Here's my real speed. As I said, it was a lot faster few months ago, I don't know what happened.

i pay for 15/1.5 but due to the shutdown of analog cable my internet was updated to 50/5 at no additional charge but i usually see typically 60/6

It's not atrociously bad. but still kind of painful for anything but text content. Sometimes goes down to 1 on bad days.

Ladies and gentleman, Exede satellite broadband. This is the price you pay if you live in the beautiful state of Alabama in a middle-of-nowhere county. Hopefully when I graduate college and get my Computer Science degree I will get a job over at Huntsville. We are getting Google Fiber over there soon!

I remember when I had a download speed around 0.5 mbps. Had anyone here had that slow connection? I had to leave my PC on for days to download a file, that's why I almost never pirated games and movies.

Not only that, but I get a "solid" 15 gigabytes to spread out and use over the period of one month. Go over early? Too bad. You are slapped with the fair access policy for the rest of the month (fapped as they like to call it {XD} ) and your download speeds are then at 300-400kbs. To download large files and Steam games, I have to literally wait until midnight and download during the free period which lasts a measly 5 hours. I was downloading a 20GB game last month after the steam sale, and steam didn't automatically pause it at 5am like I set it to, and by the time I woke up (which was at 9am) we'd been "fapped". No internet for the entire month of January. It was horrible since it happened at the start of the month.

666, 14, and 13.. This explain why I constantly get the 'attempting to reconnect' and end the game as a leaver. Please stop it satan.

I wish I have better internet.
