Tea or Coffee?
Some of the most common drinks of our generation are Tea and Coffee. What's your preference?
Personally, it depends. My favorite drink is milk tea, which isn't all too common around here, so I'll usually resort to a sort of coffee for a hot drink. My current favorite is a smoked butterscotch latte from Starbucks at the moment. Hot chocolate is another favorite beverage, but I almost never find myself drinking it. |
I drink a lot of both, but it's coffee for me, I much prefer that in the morning to get my day going than tea. Tea for me is more of a relaxer, in a I'll have a chamomile or chai before bed kinda way.
Tea. Of the iced variety. Snapple peach flavored, made in a Keurig. Actually tastes better than the stuff that comes in the bottles.
Coffee. it comes in clutch when I need it in the morning before school and I stayed up late the night before doing homework. and it tastes good.
TEA TEA TEAAAAAAA.
I love coffee with milk and sugar, but my body does not. So my choice is tea. There are a lot of flavors I love, but matcha with coconut milk is my favorite <3 I drink a cup or two of tea a day, if not more. |
Coffee
I literally go nuts without it lol |
If you don't think tea is the best then you are the reason the world is going to shit.
I generally require prefer coffee but tea is nice as a treat once and a while. :)
I'd drink either, but iced please thank you.
What is coffee but a weirdly made tea?
I love tea and can't stand coffee. If I need caffeine then capitalism me and give me a RedBull. |
Why is both not an option?
I like coffee, and I like tea. Tea is healthier, so my coffee drinking has been reduced significantly, particularly since I can't handle the caffeine (it makes me far too neurotic) and prefer its soothing properties and stomach-quellingness. But the smell of coffee is one of the best things in the world, and it makes me feel great. Also, it's really good with loads of milk and sugar. That subtle coffee flavor is tasty. |
I'll have both when the time calls for it. I normally don't drink coffee, but I need it for rough mornings. I'll also have a few glasses of chamomile tea when I have a very stressful day and there's work to be done in the evening.
i enjoy both, but i drink coffee pretty much daily, so it has to be that. tea is more for relaxing, whereas coffee is part of my morning routine.
I love both, though it depends on the situation. I usually only have coffee in the morning to wake me up or when I need an energy boost. My coffee in the morning is always iced with milk and sugar. Every now and then I'll go to Starbucks and get a frappucinno or latte. Usually I have tea hot as a relaxer, but I always make a pitcher or iced tea to drink throughout the week.
Both, equally. :)
Black tea, no sugar, all day everyday
I live in Melbourne where the cafe culture is massive though so I've grown to tolerate coffee but tea is lifeee |
I generally don't drink either...I can never get tea quite to my satisfaction, and coffee does strange things to me and I need to have six or seven sugars to be able to moderate the bitterness. I quite like herbal tea - preferably peppermint - from time to time, but generally I avoid both.
I happen to to drink neither of them.
Coffee is my drug. I really need to wane down on it, but it's absolutely mmm delicious. Iced coffee over hot coffee preferably. Always before work I'll get myself some coffee, helps me survive an 8 hour day working with kids (;

Nice, hot, herbal tea. Nothing else in it.
I could drink Chamomile and Lavender tea all day long. Coffee smells good, but I've never been able to get past the taste. |
Coffee. I've yet to find a tea that I like.
I try not to drink too much coffee, though, as I want the caffeine to work well when I really need it. I also don't want to build up tolerance and then go through withdrawal if I have to wean myself off coffee--I remember my dad going through that when I was younger, and he seemed miserable. |
I only like tea between the two but I've cut back on it massively. In fact I have tried to cut down on about 80% of my caffeine usage in general because it was giving me headaches. I prefer the smell of coffee to pretty much anything but the taste is just not for me :[
Oh hey I evened out the votes.
I'm a tea w/ no sugar girl. ♡ I drink several cups every day at work and am more than happy to do so at home too lol. Coffee has never been my thing and I prefer to stay away from it. Never had many different kinds and I'm not into it enough to experiment with whatever options are available. |
Coffee for me, although it often causes me to be jittery haha. I don't mind tea, but some reason I only drink it when I don't feel too well.
Both, because it's nice to swing both ways. :B
Uh...hot chocolate?

It's not that I don't like coffee. It's that I prefer tea more. Not that I drink much. Either way, if was offered a cup of tea or coffee, I'd probably pick tea.
I don't like either of them.
I dislike tea, cause it tastes like hot, watered down leaves. I don't like leaves in general, but when they are watered down it just makes them worse. I just plain hate coffee, cause it smells, looks, and tastes like crap. It could easily be described as soiled water, cause that's... well, exactly what it is. And as for the crap taste? Considering the worlds most expensive coffee supposedly tastes better because it literally is crap, I don't think anyone should be able to deny that that's exactly what it tastes like. So yeah, that's my opinion. Feel free to yell at me for having it. |
i'm not too fond of either of them, but i really like the iced varieties. i love iced mochaccinos, and iced teas from starbucks.
I drink coffee every day, I am very well an addict. This alone makes me think about cutting caffeine from time to time. But, I really enjoy the taste of coffee so it'd be a tough cut. Maybe just drink straight decaf. I've never enjoyed tea, though. It doesn't have enough umpfh to it, ya know? And it makes my throat dry and scratchy. I sometimes drink it when I'm sick, but barely ever outside of that.
I don't like either I prefer hot chocolate if I want an hot drink.
im pretty equal, but i have a bigger appreciation and love affair with tea
This depends. When I'm away from home at college, tea. It's cheaper than the coffee I like. When I'm at home, coffee...like...an unhealthy amount of it. I guess my preference is coffee, but tea is definitely an alternative when I realize I'm poor.
I'm a coffee drinker. I mean, I'm from Seattle, it'd be a sin if I wasn't. While I do enjoy a good cup of chamomile or matcha, a cup of joe with french vanilla and irish creamers is what I drink. Surprisingly, Coffee actually keeps my bad attitude under control. And I don't mean Caffeine in general. Something specific to coffee.

I like coffee but I only have it very rarely or when I'm at a coffee shop. Tea is the best. |

I love them both. Coffee is always my go-to, though. However recently I've had some health issues so I've switched to tea only for the time being. I drink both of them a lot though.
At the risk of sounding like a stereotype, I much prefer tea.
Either Coffee or Tea? Tea. I'm not a huge fan of coffee, but I do enjoy a cuppa sometimes.
Otherwise, Milo. {XD} |
I umm prefer tea. Never had coffee before to be honest.
Tea. I love the soothing feeling of Tea, especially with the flavors that i like.
One interesting thing about Tea is that its possible to prepare something like it in the wild and its easily doable even for the first time camper/survivalist. I don't know about coffee though. |
i started to drink coffee when i was 4 years old and i drank it during most of my younger years but when i became a teenager i decided to stop drinking it when i found out, that coffee could kill you.... if your body wouldn't have a liver... that kinda shocked me... so now it is only tea for me |
Definately has to be tea for me, I drink quite a lot of tea but I don't drink coffee as I don't like it's taste or smell very much.
I enjoy both. I drink my coffee black with no sugar. With tea, it depends what kind it is if I put anything in it or not.
My favorite drink is coffee with a shot of Bailey's :D |
I can't do coffee. Or rather, I can do coffee, but it has to be one of those really sweetened (and possibly iced) coffees, since otherwise it's far too bitter for me. I've tried. I can't do coffee otherwise.
Tea, on the other hand...give me tea. :D I will gladly take tea if it's offered. Almost any kind will do. Although if it's something like a chai or a cinnamon tea, please give it to me right now. |
Tea! Hot Tea, Iced Tea, I'm totally okay with it all. Coffee on the other hand I almost never drink it hot. I'll drink iced coffee with a flavour, cream, and sugar, but even then I normally lean more towards the tea at the place I work at. In fact the only reason why I even drink coffee every now and then is because of my job otherwise I would rarely drink coffee if ever.
Coming from an arabic family, tea has been a part of my life ever since I was a kid, so I definitely prefer it over coffee. Not only does it taste better, it has many health benefits. I do drink coffee though, and enjoy them from time to time if it's a particularly cold morning out or I'm feeling like I need a pick-me-up.
I would prefer coffee, though not due to the taste.
It managed to keep me attentive when performing important tasks, though it had an odd side-effect...it temporarily changed my personality. >_> |
Tea, because I collect tea bag wrappers
I also like coffee. I drink mine black with sugar. |
I love tea! I've tried way too many times to like coffee and it just never works for me. Very rarely do I find a cup of coffee that I like, and when I do I usually really like it. But I'll take tea any day! I love green tea the most, especially gunpowder and matcha. I'm also fond of black tea, and red tea- really, any tea except fruit!
Fan of both! Coffee's great in the morning and I don't mind the bitter ones at all, take it black w/ no sugar. Mainly stick to green tea hot or cold, pretty soothing either way.
I used to be more on coffee, but I've since switched to tea not too long ago! It's much healthier; and it's better for me as I'm currently trying to cure my anxiety, which coffee unfortunately induces. I'm currently drinking tea with caffeine (since that happens to be the only tea at home when I made the switch), so it does make me a little panicky sometimes, but I'll then switch to herbal tea as soon as I get it.
*precariously wonders why Both is not an option* :3
Anyone who knows me knows that I am quite obsessed with tea. I do have my moments with coffee though, but I found out that it really affects my anxiety and so I try to avoid it most of the time.
*sips tea* |
Coffee! {XD}
Ehhhh I never really was a big fan of coffee. I drink green tea like it's water, though.
Tea! I always enjoy a good cup of Earl Grey any day. Coffee's great too, I usually make it decaffinated with a bunch of sugar and so much milk that it's barely recognizable as coffee {XD}.
Coffee. Specially, Dunkin' Donuts. Ice Latte w/ Caramel & Mocha
Beer... Ahem, I meant coffee with liquor in it. Okay seriously I prefer coffee but it's better with liquor in it lol.
coffee. i just can't stand the taste of tea. and the smell... ugh it smells gross.
I can't believe the tea drinkers are winning o:
Tea is basically warm water with supposed-to-be taste but is mostly color (; Coffee is my main drug. |
