suh dude
how do you greet your friends? do you go for the casual sideways hug and pat on the back or maybe an elaborate handshake you made up in sixth grade?
|
Suhhh duuuu
Usually some sort of fist bump or hand shake. Some just a wave. Some a hug. It varies! |
dude.......................... suh
I normally go straight in for a hug, or just wave. It really depends on my mood, some days I just don't have the energy. x.x |
I dont do any physical contact, and if someone comes up and hugs me, I do an awkward one armed hug thing. I dont like physical contact too much. Shaking hands is fine, but I dont do that with friends...
Just a "whats up" is sufficient. |
I don't because I don't have friends.

I'm usually just like "Hey, sup" alternatively "Yo" and rarely if they're really close "Hey piece of shit" |
I hug it out. If you're my friend, I will envelope you in my love upon seeing you :>
|
A loud "howdy!" suffices. Even do it when saying hello to online friends.
|
"Hello."
You should be used to my straightforward and boring nature by now. |
It depends on the friend. For some friends it's a loud hi!!! followed by hugging and smiles, for some friends it's a casual "sup" and for some friends it's "hey idiot." Note that the greeting is not necessarily relative to how close I am to them.
|
I have different greetings for all my friends, really! Depends on how close I am to them, and most of the time we've just greeted the same way with one other for as long as we've been friends!
|
I usually don't like greetings. It puts attention on me and forces an unnatural beginning of a conversation which I might not be able to get out of easily. My preference is just to drift out of nowhere, say something when I overhear an interesting topic I have something to say about, and then disappear. A quick quiet wave of acknowledging your existence if I'm unlucky enough to get spotted before then works too.
As for someone closer to me, such as what I consider to be an actual friend, I will just kind of start talking about some topic out of nowhere anyway when I first see them. Because I know we're intimate enough that they won't care. No greetings are necessary. |
just yell "eyyyyyy fam" across the hallway. the more random people who look at you like you're insane, the better.
|
I say Yo a lot. It's weird, but that's how it is I guess.
|
ayy lmao
|
I hug c:
|
recently, it's been 'suh dude' a fair bit. but my friends have infinite ways of greeting eachother, ranging from 'hi' to 'hey faggot'.
as for contact, generally a handshake of some kind. when i say 'of some kind', it starts off normal, but then, with certain friends, continues into some improvised bullshit. fun, though. |
I just say Hi like I do for everyone.
|
I hug my friends and family and hand shake everyone else.
|
Depends on who the friend is. Usually I'll walk up and hug them and ask how they are/have been if it's been a while since we've seen each other but otherwise I'll just say "sup" or something haha.
|
Well with my friends they just walk up to me and squeeze me into an hug but then again my and my friends are really close.
But then if it was with some classmates I just quickly place an arm around their shoulder and say " What up bruv". |
I don't really speak many fancy stuff. It's just a simple "hello", but that's only if I'm not so shy that it makes me not want to speak.
|
Usually a handshake/kiss on cheeks (depending on the gender), if there are many to be greeted at once I'll just do a general "hey" or "what's up". To the closest friends I'll literally say "Oy mate!"
|
Usually just "hey".
I'm not one for physical contact at all, so no hugs from me. Fist bump sometimes, but definitely no hugs. |
To greet, I don't really do anything aside from the occasional handshake/high five. But when saying bye, I always give a big hug to my closest friends.
