Where would you like to live?
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Right now, I'd really love to move into San Francisco. I live only around 20 minutes away, and I'm always extremely happy and comfortable there, so living in there would be a dream. However, it can be a bit expensive at times. I have many friends there as well, so it'd be a lot easier to spend days with them opposed to spending weekends over there. It's such a beautiful city with lots to do, plus some pretty amazing views. |
Seattle or Vancouver, BC. They're perfect combinations of city life and nature. I want to live in a city, yet scurry off to the mountains when I need to (which is a lot).
I think I'd also enjoy San Francisco and NYC, but only for a few years. |
I'd love to move back to Maine. That's where I was born and raised. I miss it more and more each day since moving to Arizona. Sadly, money is a problem for us and moving back is not an option for us. :c
I also wouldn't mind living in the UK either. I hear they're really good with those who have autism, unlike the US. |
For some reason, I’ve always been very interested in moving to London. I really don't know why. I’ve had people who live there tell me that there’s really nothing special about it, but I feel like it’d be a much needed change of scenery from the Southern United States.

Idk honestly. Despite all the crazy stuff going on in the world I'd like to live somewhere on the beach. Possibly Florida or California. If I had the funds I'd move away from Chicago NOW and move somewhere where I feel I'd enjoy, Chicago is not a good place to live unless you like cold weather, bipolar mother nature, and paying a fortune to live happily.

I would like to try out Germany. |
I'm actually really happy with where I live (Perth). It's not got a huge amount going on and we always joke "Nothing ever happens in Perth" but I kind of like how it is here. Maybe it's just because all my IRL friends and all my favourite places are here (that and I hate travelling and moving).
If I was going to move I'd strongly consider Adelaide. It's a beautiful city and it's got that same sort of "calm" quality that most of Perth has. IT also has the advantage though of being much closer to all the opportunities and things present in the Eastern sates. If I were to move to another country, I'd probably be most interested in one of the socialist-leaning liberal European countries. |

I would ideally like to live in Seattle... forever. Well, at the moment I live in a town south of Seattle but I spend most of my time in Seattle due to work. It's a great city. I'd like to live in Northern Seattle, in the more foresty areas, so I'm not too far from the hustle and bustle, but I can also find peaceful moments.
|
Michigan, or somewhere in the Northeast, like Maine. I have specific reasons for Michigan right now, but really I just want to go live somewhere that's less religious/conservative, and also has all four seasons. If one season has to be snubbed it can be summer, because... Summer takes up far too much of the year where I live, and we didn't even have a winter at all this year.

My city, and most cities I've been to, don't have a lot of good sitting areas in the downtown core but Seattle did! It was around lunch and there were still cafes with open chairs around and the sidewalks were so much bigger. It didn't feel nearly as congested :) |
I'd love to live in Maryland/Virginia area, within an hour or so of Washington DC. Beautiful horse country.
If I were rich I'd live in Great Falls, VA (which is on the Virginia/Maryland border). We randomly stumbled on that town on a road trip last year and it was so quaint. It's a very expensive area to live in. Also, they have like the worlds best creamery (ice cream) there. |
Somewhere that's not Florida.
|
Some of my friends moved to Seattle and they make it seem like the nicest place in the world. I'd like to see it for myself one day. It sounds like the kind of place I'd really like, from the people to the sights to the weather.
|
Lots of Seattle love! That was one of my choices but I just don't knowww. I want to be everywhere.
Probably Washington state. I love colder areas and it seems like the perfect place for me. I've looked at apartments online before out of curiosity, maybe somewhere in Newcastle or Renton?? Otherwise I'd love to be in Japan. For many years now I've had a huge interest in going since I love the culture and environment but that's a little expensive and out of reach right now, especially with how much I dislike long plane rides. Maybe some day. :p I booked a month-long trip once but ended up backing out, good thing I got all of my money refunded. Honestly just give me a nice, colder climate where jobs aren't too scarce and I'd be happy. During our drive up to Niagara Falls Canada from NYC there were literally sooo many places I wished I could move to. Just split me up into 500 people please. <3 |
It doesn't matter where I go, as long as it is in my own place that is away from my parents. And not in this makeshift room made of concrete that is too small for two people. I want to live in an apartment, here, but perhaps several miles away. Maybe in Orlando, maybe in Tampa. (I'm situated in Florida right now and I don't really have any problems with this state.)
|
I think I'd really like to try living in like, Texas. Specifically Dallas maybe? I really like hot and dry weather, and I like big sprawling roads (spare me those maze-like downtown one-ways) and it seems like there's an interesting array of companies based there...
I also really loved living in Irvine, so if I had the money to pay that stupid expensive rent I'd move back to Southern California for the nice weather and food and shopping malls. And cross my fingers that they install better internet by the time I move there. (Down with COX...) |
Niagara! It's nice there and it's a bigger less shitty city than this one I'm stuck in ;u;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miami_cannibal_attack Anyway as for me I really don't know. I've been really sure for a while that I would move to Europe but as I get older and older I am more and more unsure of any place I want to live. I'm taking this massive road trip next month so I'm hoping that on that road trip (going through Seattle all of you Seattle lovers!) to perhaps find a place in the US that I would love to live. In terms of the US the list of places that interest me are:
As for Europe I'd live in (in no order): Spoiler:
Honestly though I think I'm still just searching for where I want to live. |
Preferably back to my old neighborhood in Denver. It wasn't the most comfortable place in the world, but the nostalgia and convenience of my essentials being just down the street makes me want to go back. Plus it was also very quiet all the time so it was always relaxing.
|
London and New York are on the top two of my list due to the proximity of Broadway and West End shows. (and the fact that i want to be an actor there someday) Based on everything else however, the top places on my list would be Toronto, Vancouver, Stockholm, Zurich, Seattle or Auckland. Since I live in a really hot tropical Southeast Asian country, it would be nice to live somewhere cooler for a change. :p
|
Places that would be actually a lot better than where I live now don't exist in Russia, and living in different country would be too hard for me, so I don't even have any desire to live somewhere else.
|
Fredericksburg Virginia, I was born there and the city is a American Civil War gold mine. I am the ancestor of Robert E Lee, so it sorta fits to return to my homeland. Other places in the world
Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Milwaukee Wisconsin Liverpool UK Winnipeg Manitoba Canada Toronto Ontario Canada Orlando Florida |
anywhere sunny and close to a beach
