Bad habits
Do you do anything that is widely considered to be a bad habit for some reason or another? If not, do you know anyone who does? This can be anything from smoking cigarettes to consumption of alcohol on a daily basis. What is your stance on said habits? Have you tried to cut them out, or do you not really care what people think and continue to do them anyway?

It's FAR more than a bad habit, but I used to have Trichotillomania so bad that it heavily impacted my life. Even now I still find myself pulling at my hair when I'm anxious. :( That's probably my worst habit, but I also drink too much soda, and pick at my nails.

I used to have a problem biting my nails, but then I had to have all my teeth pulled (don't ask). I guess that ended that one. A current habit of mine would probably be that I love sweets and junk food way too much. :c I also happen to be a coke addict. I drink a lot of coke... well not that much but it's still an addiction for me. XD

Eh, I wouldn't say this is a bad habit but it is. I crack a beer open every or other night. Yeah, I know it's not healthy but I thoroughly enjoy my beer lol

I swear evry time , I always pick my nose, I always eat someone else stuff, I do these bad habits when no one sees me.

I vape. I know it's safer than cigarettes - and it could be totally harmless - but I do it anyway, irrespective of the potential dangers. I also procrastinate BADLY.

We also seem to have this problem too. We spend money a week after we get it. It really sucks because it makes it hard in the long run because we go broke. We also run out of food, and that makes it even worse. ;o;

I sometimes get stuck on this strange place on the internet, it's got a pokémon banner but I mostly end up talking about crushes and the weather, I don't really know how to stop it either because it just makes me feel so good!

I vape, though I'm currently steadily reducing the concentration of nicotine, I'm at the lowest available concentration right now (3 mg/ml). I seriously consider eventually going down to 0 mg/ml, and then stopping vaping entirely before I turn 30.
The exploding ecig thing, I've never seen this happen, even though most of the smokers I know have switched to vaping years ago. From what I hear, most explosions are due to people who tinker with their ecigs, particularly batteries and resistors, or use incompatible parts or shoddy chargers. That's why I don't try anything fancy, I buy all my parts at the same shop. I also enjoy wine and beer a bit too much. |
I don't brush my teeth or floss nearly enough... it's something I need to get back into. And yes, I consider a lack of a good habit a bad habit.
Other than that, I have a tendency to pull dry flakes off of my lips and make them bleed constantly. I'm not a huge fan of lip balm either (it feels unpleasantly slimy), so... my lips are pretty bad nowadays. I should put on more lip balm. |
I smoke cigarettes and occasionally will do some dip. I don't think i'm addicted as I can make myself go without one for a while, but as someone who runs long distance I can definitely see the effects that smoking has had in my running performance.

I pick my skin, there's a name for it but I can't spell it lol, it's part of my anxiety 'u'

I tend to have an issue with remembering the time, and this can sometimes cause disastrous results.
